Lowtrade, thank you for your time and insight, I'm definitely more informed than I was earlier on in the day. Cheers and GLTY!
OK agreed it no longer has audited financials and a share buy back would be infinitely more acceptable, but if the merger is accretive and an uplisting comes about because the financials improve would an RS (if insigated) be better before or after the uplisting.
I understand there are a lot of 'ifs' but I'm not experienced at all with RS movement in companys, except investors detest them, but it doesn't stop companys from carrying them out and I'm just trying to prempt a worse case scenario. THNX
Creppie: many thanks, I've just been to lowtrades board and it's quite something. Cheers.
Lowtrade: Creppie suggested I visit your site and I'm glad I did as I enjoyed your posts (last november) on the RS, but quick question:-
Is the uplist followed by a RS more palatable to the market (generally) than the other way around, ie RS followed by uplisting?
For examples sake lets say the company has its financial house in order after a period of instability (SEVI). I would appreciate your view.
Thank you for your time!
Question to the board: I've always thought that a RS doesn't spell the death toll if a company has it's financial sh$# together. Does anyone have any experiences to call on and do you have an example of a RS gone right? Many thanks in advance.
I think the reason the death toll of the RS rings for most companies is that their finances are in sh$t state and it is the last roll of the dice for them, but companies that have their financial sh$t together can survive an RS, however we don't one, period. GLTY
Doesn't need to be a RS, they could instigate a share buy back which achieves basically the same but without the hassle. Also extra shares issued from the merger don't have to be dilutive if the merging company is profit making as their revenues will be accretive. (If I understand it right?)
That should do it, pps first followed by 50ma. (then we should see some real momo)
I think once it clears 004 it will run to a penny (and beyond). I'm looking for any revenue announcement to gauge where this might go. I'm holding for the time being. GLTY
SEVI making a move???
Chill out Rock 'losing it' aint worth the hassle for 2 minutes of satisfaction.
Creppie: TRNP just up slightly, I thought I had another day or 2 and so added to my EVSA holding as the 5dma just crossed the 10dma. Next resistance for TRNP is 02 I think so good percentage gain should be on the books. GLTY
Forgive me I'm not trying to be awkward, you are obviously making money off nxno and it hadn't occurred to me that there might be money to be made off both plays, I'm not that bright. GLTY
Creppie, this may seem like a dumb comment but surely TRNP is the better trade as it owns 75% of nxno or is it not that simple? Would appreciate your view.
I like the look of the NXNO connection, money to be made here IMO. A double bottom is forming and I believe at these levels we could see a nice profit. I'm holding today and looking for an entry point.
Try the gold ETF, GLD trades at 10% of the spot gold price.
Flipping my a$$, the state of the pps has nothing to do with people flipping 10% of their 'gains' (joke in itself) it has everything to do with the markets perception of xkem and selling into the rally by people such as chassman and mm's.
Forget the Nigeria factor, xkem still has not delivered the coup de gras on it's financing and until it has, xkem can put out production figures in the gazillions and the pps will still not move north.
Maybe you should just tell us all when to buy and sell then so we can fit into your trading strategy at the expense of our own.
For the record I'll buy back in at the mid teens and then flip when I'm good and ready.(lol)
Good reading, first few cracks in the wallpaper. GLTY
When the ex-chairman of the fed comes out and says that there is a 30% chance of a recession it probably means it's worse than that and it wouldn't surprise me to see carnage after a bad set of 1st and 2nd quarter results. IMO a retrace of up to 20% on the DJIA/S&P is not beyond the realms of possibility. JMO GLTY
TRNP: Looks like a good call!
I think it's the sign of the bear, personal debt is going to curtail retail/consumer spending which has been the saviour of the markets. Add in reduced productivity, higher unemployment and the potential for negative equity on real estate holdings which will effect personal perception on wealth and a weaker dollar to-boot and things look grim IMO, BWTFDIK.
I'm looking at precious metals and healthcare/pharmaceuticals as a hedge for 50% of my 10 buck portfolio.
Creppie, yes I've still got them for the time being.
Mastershake: many thanks I have limited bandwidth here and can't run the programmes/software I would like to.
Could someone please post the market depth. MTIA
Agreed, the low volume downticks of last 3 days probably means people covered ready for next leg up.
Those 3 'huge' down days were on minimal volume, no real sellers there IMO
In SEVI at mid 20's, looks ready for next leg up.
Agreed, Syrocuse used 2.4 in his assessment of where the share price should be.
Exchange rate Euro/Dollar is nowhere near 2.4.
Congrats appear to be in order, hope this starts to fill its potential finally.
OK Cheers!
I've been trying to learn TA (self taught) for a short while and I really enjoy your analysis on the charts you provide, so thank you. Could the current pattern on the EVSA chart be loosely construed as being in a head and shoulders pattern?
For the record I'm waiting for the uplisting to see what occurs before selling and will add more if we reach .003 again.
Many thanks for your time!
If I understand it correctly it's 3 working days after the 211 is filed. Check out OTCBB web site.
SCATGROOVE: Quite possibly the best post of 2007 so far. GLTY
Good morning board, I'm brand new to this forum and after reading all the previous posts here, I hope to get some serious knowledge from seasoned investors here and start using that knowledge to help me understand the 'pink' mentality. I have one goal and that is to earn some decent money and I applaud this board for its lack of drivel and B/S. GLTYA
Etourge (french?): I think you will be happier by the weekend. It may retrace to the 10 day MA but otherwise we should see a healthy bounce for the next leg up. BWTFDIK
Agreed, The late volume and pps rise was excellent. I would be very surprised if this doesn't gap up and run strong tomorrow. GLTUA
It's not often that I agree with the moderators of this board but if you are here watching your money bleed dry, doing nothing about it but continually bitching and moaning then that is your fault and nobody elses. I can't believe the amount of people who say they think the pps is going to decline or are unhappy with the pps performance but do nothing. IMO They are weak people who are destined to lose money in the long run.
Let the trend be your friend until a reversal is in place!
For the record I followed my own advice and will get back in (at whatever price) when the loan news is confirmed as I do believe we can make money once the loan 8K is verified.
Soup: Many thanks for the link!
Is there a serious chartist on the board? Could you please explain how is it the pps is going up but the cmf is negative, I don't understand surely they should both be positive shouldn't they???
Many thanks in advance.
