I would say that .06-.07 is going to be EXTREMELY tough throughout next week and beyond...
What I learned back in 1993 (may have changed nowadays) is as follows:
SHORT TERM: 1 day to 1 month
INTERMEDIATE TERM: 1 month to 6 months
LONG TERM: 6 months to 5 years+
Looks to me like you are seeing clearly now, sir...glad you made it through the huge drawdown without losing your mind, composure and/or sanity. A lesser person might not have been able to stand up to the razzing and criticism. I am impressed...not that my opinion means anything, but I haven't had the luxury of getting to know you over the past few months like many of the others who consider seem to think very highly of you (since I've only been here for about 2-3 weeks).
Looking forward to reading your comments next week in regards to your speaking with Mr. Burg.
Can we all join hands and kiss and make up now?
It looks SPECTACULAR to me... Nice to see the bloodletting cease.
Post #5546 by jdigilarmo gives you the entire breakdown on vein #1.
Reference post #7490 and #7488 on how to find the info on the 1st vein.
Great future potential for sure!
Question is: How long will it take to get the product in the hands of 1 million repeat monthly buyers or 4 million or 9 million or 12 million. Are we talking days here, weeks, months, years or a decade or more???
It sure would be nice if I had that remote control of Adam Sandler's from "Click" so I could fast forward a few years into the future when all those potential clients would be lining up to buy and the production facilities were in order to produce that 4 million bottles per month. That would be AWESOME!!! Till then, think I'll have to keep my mind set on more realistic price per share in the real world (not futurama). IMO.
inappropriate post...self-deleted...blah blah blah
Is today the gap close day??? Could it be time to load the boat???
Separately, is anyone else out there having problems logging into TDAmeritrade this morning?
Good early morning, guys. Glad to see you have the new board up already. Looking forward to the upcoming price action with the new name. Should be interesting and profitable. Will check in with you all again tomorrow...good night.
Personally, I believe you saw the bottom today and I believe that we are in for a run to the .06-.07 level from here. Still need to see confirmation of today's Key Reversal Up day on reasonably heavy volume to be sure (the heavier the volume, the more significant the reversal signal)...I would say anything above .041 would make me a 100% believer; anything below .029 and I would exit my position and wait to see the dust settle...I'm personally back in at .036 and .0325 buying back mid-day Wed and earlier in the day Thursday.
If you are wondering what to do, you could simply take the emotion out of it and let the price action make the decision for you. Anything back above .04 and you should be made whole (provided that you decide to exit at some point later on ABOVE your buy price, of course...lol). Conversely, anything below .03 and I would not be optimistic at all about the future of the price at least for a number of months down the road. It's also very possible that this stock could have a major consolidation period of a few months where it just trades sideways between .03 and .06 for longer than anyone would care to imagine before it builds up enough steam to take off on another up leg.
I'm personally gonna be trading this one and exiting around the 6 cent level till I get a better feel for what's down the road. And considering the probability that it may take them a year or two to really ramp up production and get the numbers of clientele that they need for solid revenue growth to justify more than a 5 cent price per share, my money is on the probabilities that this thing is gonna be gyrating sideways for quite some time to come. Very good environment for trading, but not so good for those who are wanting a new high to come soon. However, this is a penny stock and with enough hype and belief and additional buying, anything can happen and it very well COULD move to higher highs whether the value justifies it or not.
But my bet is you will see .03-.07 for the next 2-3 months. Anyway, just an opinion...
I always thought market cap (capitalization) was figured by simply multiplying the current share price by the total number of shares outstanding. If there are 1.2 Billion shares out and a closing price of .0369 on 7-13-2006, then wouldn't the market cap be equal to precisely $44,280,000???
Are you guys arguing about market cap or market value??? Fair market value or book value??? Hmmm...and the volleying just keeps going back and forth...back and forth. LOL!
Finally, a voice of reason in the crowd... I second that post!
The sooner people would realize that they are not going to be able to change each other here in poster world, the sooner these boards would be easier to wade through to get to the golden nuggets. It seems like 50% or more of the posts here are clashing of the titans. Would the scrappers just go over to their separate corners and chill for a while??? Puhhleeeze...LOL.
uwlungman,
My strategy to overcome the situation you asked about is the use of a "mental" stop-loss point as opposed to an actual order placed in the market ahead of time on a GTC buy or sell stop. It helps to have it both in my head and written down so that I remember it without changing it due to emotions changing from day to day with events surrounding the stock or commodity that I am trading.
Once the stock price fulfills the parameters of my mental stop, then I would simply place the order manually to exit and do not have to worry about my actual stop-loss point being posted so that market makers or anyone else can see the actual price level (unless they are psychic...heh heh). This works if you have the luxury of watching the markets during the day, but is not as effective if you cannot. One can place alerts at the price level you have pre-determined w/ their stock quote system or their broker to notify them and alert them immediately if a certain price level is hit on the stock so that then you could carry out your mental stop-loss orders. There are ways to make it work...just figure out what would work best w/ your daily routine.
I definitely agree with you on the subject of your question because I have been "picked off" many times with what you were referring to, and I rarely ever place my actual stop in the market ahead of time...those MM's are sneaky bastards, ya know...lol.
Not if someone was overtaken by the emotion of greed and the thought of retiring on $10 million at 50 cents a share or $20 million at $1.00 per share. I feel for the guy...it's a hard lesson, but it sounds like he might have learned something about the trading world.
Fear and greed...the two most dangerous and financially devastating emotions when it comes to trading stocks and commodities. Tis the reason it's always good to use a stop loss point to lock in profits or to cut losses short.
Man, if I could count the cost of "tuition" that it has cost me over the years in learning the hard way. It ain't fun, that's for sure. Hate to hear you guy's/gal's horror stories out there. Would be nice if it would go back up to make you all whole again.
Then what handle does the real shakerzzz post under?
What happened to the shakerzzfactor and the QUINvoodoo??? Well, at least Bigdaddy called it right today. Thanks for the best wishes of luck for the .03's, bigdaddy...you're quite the good luck charm...guess I'm not a fool after all.
Don't forget to multiply that valuation by a proper p/e ratio to get a relative potential price per share. Silver stocks pps are about an average 10-15 x's price/earnings ratio and gold stocks pps are about an average 20-25 x's price/earnings ratio. Could be some fireworks coming down the road! Of course, one would have to determine how much of the actual total vein worth they would be pulling out annually to get a true picture of valuation to plug into the equation.
I don't think so...I think that is a bit of overkill...it's not going to go straight down. If it closes below .028-.030, then it would be definite cause for concern, but I doubt that will happen (the bottom will probably be .03 +/- a few .001's). We will probably bottom here this afternoon or first thing in the morning and start the move back up to the .06-.07 area.
Huh?, for some reason your post was just deleted that I was responding to...oh well, this post was in response to sexythang just a few posts back. No idea why her post was deleted as she was just asking what happens if the share price falls below .03. Guess it must be the SS out in force again today. I wonder why Matt has yet to respond to my question to him last night about the mysterious deletions for no proper reason.
.03 area should provide good support and a bounce back to .06 within 1-4 weeks...IMO.
Again, this was in response to sexythang, but for some reason your posts are being deleted. You must be somebody else who was previously banned from TOS/V and started up posting under a new pseudonym. Oh well...
Again, perhaps my lack of clarity in what I was trying to say. I do not believe there is a specific chemical drug which is patentable in the product, although there are many patents relating to its production and manufacturing process...including the patent held by the Nigerian govt.
If it's PATENTED, I would love to see the patent number. It may be APPROVED, but patented...hmmm...c'mon now.
In any case, I was simply trying to answer a poster from an earlier post this AM who asked why XKEM has a miracle drug and CURE and why the price per share was not reflecting that miraculous situation. It seems that things get hyped up through the grapevine and certain words or references can cause unrealistic expectations and hopes in certain investors. I only wanted to clarify what I originally stated for that other person who hopefully would see the merit in the statement.
I'm not here to bash or debate the nitty gritty details of other's interpretations of the due diligence. I've done my own DD as opposed to relying on other poster's typed words. I'll stick by my own opinions and discoveries for my own investing/trading. Others can stick to their interpretations. It's all good.
Great answer!
My point though in clarifying in my head and in my posts is that it is NOT a CURE and it is NOT a PATENTABLE DRUG like Viagra...capice?
Dude, the ad people that came up with the Burger King character musta been on acid when they were brainstorming and getting creative. I have nightmares about that guy sometimes...
I know you like to think of it as a DRUG since you are a doctor or more specifically a "phytodrug", but doesn't it also fit under the definition of how I interpret it??? How then, specifically, am I misinformed, Doc?
----------------
From the dictionary:
Main Entry: herbal remedy
Function: noun
: a plant or plant part or an extract or mixture of these used to prevent, alleviate, or cure disease called also herbal, herbal medicine
----------------
whatever you say, boss...I HAVE done my own DD on this thing...not just financial...not just technical, but all over and around the playground...
.033 area... .032-.033 to be exact.
It's NOT a miracle drug or CURE...it's an herbal remedy/treatment to ALLEVIATE some of the severity and frequency. Man, the grapevine here really twists and turns the reality of the facts. Ah, the bliss of poster world...ignorance is BLISS.
Why would anyone care what specifically YOU are doing Mr. CAPS! And what is up with the redundant TRIPLE post in succession? Are you a market maker in disguise? Do you really think you're barage is gonna cause a panic so you can buy on blood in the streets? Oh, just confirmed, QUIN IS FOLKKZ!!!
Just kidding...oh well...
You said:
<<How about one day where no one posts anything that is BS, only FACT...Maybe a day of sticking to the facts, unabashed, without making ridiculous claims about the company and the share price, might help everyone very much...>>
Well, gee, if people did that, then there would only be about 100 posts per day on here and we could actually read through this message board without it having to be a part time job. What would be the fun in that...lol...I hear ya!!!!!!! I guess your suggestion would only happen in fantasy land. Too bad, cuz reading through 1,000 posts a day is tough on the eyes...lol.
Well, if the MM's were smart and looking for volume and scalping money then they would head this thing back up to the .21-.22 area...betcha there would be lotsa volume in that area...heh heh.
Sorry, princess, I don't have an answer to that one. Personally, I don't buy into that mantra that if QUIN is buying then something must be afoot...I think that kind of voodoo can get you into big trouble, but then these guys probably know better than I do if they've been watching the Level II quotes all the time. That's not something I pay attention to ever. Hopefully someone else can clue you in and answer you appropriately. Good luck tomorrow...hope you have some green to alleviate any relationship stress at home.
I think it will continue in the same direction as the short term trend is currently indicating and then bounce HARD and FAST somewhere in that .03 area +/- a few .001's. I doubt you will see a rally back above 6 cents any time prior to it bottoming though. Hopefully the selloff and resulting shakeout and pukefest will be over with sooner than later and as rapidly as possible so it will stop hurting those who are holding long.
Oh, timeframe...I think just a matter of days (maybe before this week is over) till it finds it's footing.
Understood...thanks.
Gotcha...thanks for the clarification...I was wondering.
Lol... I didn't mean literally that my chart "says" such and such. What I meant was I mentally interpret or translate the chart as suggesting .03 area as a POSSIBLE/PROBABLE support area based on my experience and knowledge and history of technical analysis (call me old fashioned, but I still do my charting by hand and sometimes on computers, but hey, that's the way I learned starting back in 1993). There is no specific chart to post with anything special on it. It's the same looking chart as anyone else's except I don't use logarithmic scaling and I don't use candlesticks...I use straight bar charts (OHLC) and arithmetic scaling along with a smattering of other indicators much like the others that you see on here.
I thought I also read that he had 50 Million shares a couple of weeks ago, but then I saw another post from him in the past couple of days that said he has not sold anything and he still has his 20 Million shares. What happened to the discrepancy of the other 30 Million shares. Is he a pumper that can't keep his story straight? Lies and embellishments make it soooo hard to remember the details from time to time over days and weeks when so many things are typed. Tis the reason that 100% brutal honesty is the best policy (ya don't have to to try to remember what you said before to keep things straight). Hmmmmm...just a thought/observation...I really don't know or care. Just hate to see the blind pumping and following which ends up hurting many financially.
