Completely agree. No matter who wins, the legalization process is imminent. Another different thing is how each company is prepared to face legalization. Canadian companies may have it more difficult than American ones, but we know that CRON, like CGC, are American capital on Canadian soil. The news will certainly sell out, but what really matters is what they do quarter by quarter.
I agree with that.
Why? Is a low cost alternative to Lord Jones brand.

I'm not referring to the CEO of Cronos. See the message I replied
That CEO does not know Cronos 20% less in two days ...
I expected a worse scenario ... it's incredible that people still expect large numbers

Good!
Hahahaha
A few reasons... but, the most relevant, is that Aphria's earnings call is tomorrow. Also, Cronos Australia did a good treat with a new partner. IMO.

Cronos Group Announces Completion of Continuance to British Columbia

I would really be surprised to see the stock price grow in the short term, but I would like to see it, in September we will have a year below $ 10. Altria's thesis has been put aside, nobody talks about it anymore, it wore out. Lord Jones has apparently been forgotten. We return to the basics, which is the agreement with Ginkgo that I think will not be reflected until the earning call of April 2022 (considering that it will be launched in September and the business that can be done will be done in the fourth quarter). Legalization in New York and other states is a catalyst, but it won't happen in 2020. I would like to hear good news, but really Cronos as a company has nothing in the short term or at least does not say so. IMO.

Again moving away from the $ 7 thanks to the CGC results ... Well, it seems that 7 is an important number for Cronos. We were here before Altria.
Yes, I completely agree with you. So I think that the only thing they should invest in right now is everything that allows them to be prepared in logistics. Be well positioned in the world with sales channels. And why not, increase your current sales. Cronos is a technology company, it is not agriculture, it is science, but that science will be seen last September 2021. At the moment the company must find mechanisms to grow in parallel in other areas.
They can do a lot of things to straighten the numbers in their favor in a couple of quarters. One of them is what you comment, but I consider that they must be acquisitions oriented to the sale and not to the production. Cronos needs to cover new markets while waiting for the US. Canada is saturated, there is nothing else to sell there, they must focus on Europe, Latin America ... places where they can access the CBD, and once they have distribution means and commercial alliances, once the recreational space opens they will have all sales and distribution logistics ready. Chronos can grow quickly if they decide to, but they must move ... they burned a lot of cash this last quarter and the changes in earnings have not been proportional to spending, we have not seen substantial changes.
As ACB was crushed, it is only natural that it had a recovery like the one we have seen. Cronos has not had that recovery because the market continues to look at production capacity and capitalization beyond any other factor, and Cronos continues to be seen as a traditional cannabis company. The only thing that will turn investors' heads is the growth in sales and the reduction in spending, beyond any other news of progress in technologies or trade agreements. In my opinion this will continue to range between $ 4 and $ 6 until this step is achieved.
Thank you for sharing
Thank you for share this. I really invested in Cronos for these reasons ... the other companies are still large farms, Cronos is a technology company. Even so, I am bothered by their inability to play effectively on both fronts: that of marketing products and that of manufacturing technology that makes these products viable in the long term. With so many resources I see very little performance. What is true is that this is the only Cannabis company that has the potential to make this business more than just a tomato sale.
Completely agree with you. I think Altria is not doing anything inside Cronos, she just put the money in and retired. As I read somewhere, Altria is probably waiting for the US to legalize recreational cannabis at the federal level and then move the money. So they always talk long term ... That could take years. Certainly the Canadian market is full and there is no more where to grow, and that is why I believe that Altria does not plan to direct its investments to the Canadian market. I wouldn't mind waiting if at least this held a two-digit value, at least $ 10, but with this valuation ...
Yes. LOL. Chonos following the curve of the loser of the day. Today follows the ACB curve. If Tilray fell, Cronos would follow him with his eyes closed. LOL.
Yes.
Today Cronos has distanced himself from Tilray, but only to sink at $ 4. Very well Mike, generating "long-term" value for everyone.
