Not all gaps have to be filled. Most do, but the longer this gap holds then the uptrend will continue. I don't understand why people think all gaps have to be filled. I've seen plenty of stocks hold the gap. And to hold this kind of gap is a very bullish move.

Personally, I think he is right on. Most people need constant reminders of why were in this stock in the first place. Ethanol is not going away. Oil prices will keep going up. And the company is in the right area to take advantage of the situation. There's always going to be naysayers. I'm not endorsing this as a hold and don't worry about it. This has been consolidating over the last 18 trading days range bound 1.10-1.50. Its been a great period to be accumulating. In my opinion, this stock is undervalued at this time. The answer to that is that ethanol exports continue to grow. This year will be the highest revenue year and the exports are part of that equation (read last 10k or did you conveniently forget). Also, ethanol demand around the world is increasing. The lost of subsidies will not mean the end of the ethanol business. The infrastructure around the world is too deeply entrenched. And we are now the #1 exporter. Sounds like negative news for you, but since Im long it sounds like music to my ears.

As you know the market is the final arbitrator on where this stock is headed, not you or any negative sounding articles you decide to dig up. Follow the momentum or get left out with your articles to keep you warm. For every negative article you post I can counter with twice as many positive current articles.

Agreed! I too am looking for a retracement. Made a sweet bundle when it was well under a dollar. Now i've got my eyes on a good retracement to the range your are speaking about. But, i really believe this stock is going higher so if it does not go down to 1.07, I'll buy more from Fridays closing price on down. Of course, preserve your capital if things don't work out.

I'm thinking logically, right now the market is re-pricing PEIX because fundamentals have changed. That calls for a longer view of PEIX and hopefully garner the lions share of this inevitable price appreciation. I love technicals, trust me, but there is also a time when technicals don't matter all that much. Especially when an industry, such as ethanol, seems to be poised for growth. The writings on the wall so to speak. Great opportunities such as the one thats taken place right now in PEIX are rare, you got to seize it and go with it.

Whatever!!! Do what you must. But you've left a lot on the table plus commissions.

Everyone can speculate and make their educated assumptions, chart reading has its place in trading. But the real solid mover, bar none, is fundamentals. This companies fundamentals cry out a deserving higher PPs. I believe thats all underway. We are just weeding out all the naysayers, weak hands, profit takers (congrats).
