Libyan, Jim Dial made a short
trip to Libya as you verified in your post. Seems you have more than a casual interest in Ghariani and some knowledge of Lyamec's modest operation in Libya. You post:
"Now, I believe I'm the only person here who has been in Libya (and is Libyan) and knows the Lymamec[sic] operation inside out."
What operations in Libya - was he scamming there too? Why bother with an office in a run down apartment building at all when you can just forward the phone calls? What else did Ghariani do there besides provide JD with hookers? (BTW JD got a loan to buy a strip club in the USA)
There was a photo published of a meeting with Libyan officials, supposedly over a manufacturing facility in the free trade zone. Total fake or did Ghariani's big ego leave some wreckage behind in Libya? You post:
"You want answers. I'll give you answers."
OK, I'm listening

I never could track down U.S. Department of State "Document 05028356-13" LOL
My rancor is reserved for the scammers
The only thing left of Grifco is forensics at this point. Nobody is posting in an attempt to manipulate investors in GFCI since the whole thing is a busted scam. I'm glad that Libyan has posted about Lyamec - it's the first glimpse I've had into the coconspirator's operation.
IMO the A$$HOLES are the insider con artists who set up and ran the Grifco scam, not anyone posting about it now.
What about the Grifco promoters who used to pump the stock like STRONGUS. He had his own Ihub board where he promoted various penny stocks. Odd that he stopped posting on his own board about the time CTT sued and "RG" dropped out of the public eye. Probably a coincidence but who knows?
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/board.aspx?board_id=7782
In the old days it was always hard to tell the difference between someone talking up their own investment and an insider (or their surrogate) luring new investors in for the dump.
The scam artists took advantage of a lot of innocent people like B2B's Cuz or that Tomball kid (before he enlisted) who designed the Trans Global Funding web site for Claude Eldridge. Eldridge might have been the source for the Adams ranch leases when he was running US Energy Holdings.
I would like to see them all go down and none of the scammers profit from their scams.
best2
Libyan, $3.7 million
has peaked my interest. I think the story line from the scammers when you worked for "RG" was that Lyamec had invested $3 million in Grifco stock. Looks like "RG" got a refund or did a little money laundering. Who was in charge - follow the money. Hard to say which in the crew is the worst.
"...a wire transfer from GRIFCO to Lyamec in the amount of 3.7 Million."
I imagine you were impressed by the amount at the time. "RG" got some cash and control of a small American business, Global Oil Tools - at least for a while. "RG" always called himself the "interim CEO". Not sure what that meant but I guess he never delivered enough business to become the CEO. BTW, all Lyamec's PRs were badly written and strange.
Do you know anything about Lyamec's supposed deal in the free trade zone, Musrata?

Fair enough Libyan
The motor coach was part of the last public statement I can find from "Raymond". I was asking about it , in a round about way, to see whether this promo from "RG" in '08 was a total fabrication. Since you don't know anything about his mobile office, I assume it is either a fake or something acquired after your time with Lyamec:
http://www.reuters.com/article/idUS204216+27-Oct-2008+PRN20081027
"Catching up with Global Oil Tools interim CEO R.G. Raymond is not so easy to achieve. Traveling from city to city and state to state in a customized 45' Motor Coach seems to be the practical way to manage operations."
_____________
Perhaps having no fixed address was the most "practical way" to stay ahead of the law (if the coach actually existed).
The man was clearly promoting Global Oil Tools in 2008. Since it's a private company, I wonder whether he thought he could take it public (again) in a new shell. Part of creating a successful scam is having a real asset to tout. I don't have any information from "RG" after this PR.
Please understand that most of the posters here lost money by investing in the GFCI scam. The authorities move slowly. Outrage has, in some cases, turned into numbness. If Dial rolls over on "RG" the law may go after him. I, for one, am glad you have taken the time to post here.
Thanks for the info on the Libyan "office", So Dial was actually in Tripoli, do you know anything about the supposed deal in Ali Abdul Karim, Misurata?
best2
Hey Libyan
Did you go for a ride in RG's desert cruising, monster motor home while in Libya? Was it a rental? I thought Raymond/Gheryani got creamed in the mezzanine financing real estate debacle in '07. Was that just another scam to move the loot?
I believe that Global Oil tools has a real, though modest, business. Did they really get a nice new lathe out of the deal?

We live in interesting times but this is not the forum (unless you want it to be while we wait for news). Back to the 3...
My guess is that one will roll over on the other two, plead guilty to a lesser charge, and testify. The other two will ask for continuance as long as possible, and offer to plea guilty to lesser charges. Think the DA will proceed and convict.
There might be a contest as to who gets to be "the one" LOL

Hey Catani Long time
coming but Dial and the Jarvis crew are facing the consequences of their acts.
OT
Couldn't agree more with your assessment of our crazy health care system and Cyo's arguments.
I dislocated a finger joint while fishing in Wisconsin and went to the Appleton hospital. The intake clerk had to ask her supervisor what to do when I presented my insurance card. She said almost NONE of their patients have private insurance and she couldn't find the right entry screen. They wouldn't take cash or credit for my co-pay & I got a bill for it a month later.
The poor get "free" health care through the hospital's emergency entrance. All of us pay for this "free" service through a hodge-podgee of taxes, donations, higher hospital bills, & higher insurance premiums.
As a Nation somehow we've decided over the last 100 years that anybody can get at least some emergency treatment for an acute medical problem. We're all paying for this concept one way or another & I think we can come up with a better system to do so.

"...recover proceeds for victims
of financial crimes." is the last sentence in the DoJ press release. If JD, Jarvis, and Ellerman have anything left after the lawyers fees, anyone think they might disgorge ill-gotten gains in a plea agreement?
I think that Swinford, for one, would sue if there are personal assets left.
Cyo, you post
"...the defendants will settle or plead guilty for millions on paper but very rarely would there be any assets to pay the fine or restitution."
I agree that JD & the Jarvis crew are slick enough to hide assets, but a RICO conviction carries hard time in prison, doesn't it? Might the prosecutors offer to wave prosecution under RICO if the defendants actually pay restitution? Facing hard time for a RICO charge and probable conviction ought to be an incentive to actually pay.

OT Good (Dial busted) Morning
I was struck by the credit to Mr. Obama's task force in the DOJ press release (guess they want to keep their jobs). Maybe I shouldn't have said anything nice about politicians. Anyway, here's where I'm comming from.
I tend to be cynical about both parties as legislators vote to secure their next campaign contribution & postpone addressing our nation's problems.
7 years of fighting another endless war with thousands of American dead.
Social Security System going bankrupt just as I need it & after I paid taxes into it for 40 years (sounds like a Ponzi scheme).
The most expensive health care system in the world with the highest drug prices in the world (and a higher infant mortality rate than Cuba & 27 other countries).
A deregulated financial system that generated a housing price bubble, oil price bubble, and nearly imploded (we don't need no stinking Glass Steagall).
The solution:
We'll just sell more Treasury bonds and let the next administration deal with it (this includes Mr. Obama)
When things really fall apart I think the Nation will turn hard Right - guess we'll see.
Just my opinion

I had another Avastin injection into my left eye Tuesday in an attempt to slow my vision loss. I can still find some sites with Google but can't evaluate the relevance of the results.
http://www.topix.com/forum/law/corporate-securities
Maybe Cyo or BBB would have some ideas. I know there's a lot of interest in fake shares and this is a new twist with direct DTC involvement. IMO the scamsters (JD & Co.) had DTC aid in abusing the stockholding public by distributing non-existant shares.
best2
B2B, What a disaster
I agree that JD is the root cause but that the system was complicit. I still don't understand how JD can escape any penalty.
Have you considered publicizing your story on the internet? Wouldn't take much money or effort to start given copy/paste. A free, separate e-mail account and user ID's are easy to set up. The Grifco/CTBG story might get some interest from:
Groups unhappy with the DTC
Legal students/securities lawyers
Reformists
You can prove that fake shares were distributed
Others I can't think of off the top of my head
No question in my mind that you were greatly harmed and there may be some recourse available if your story reaches the right audience. The limited group here... well, you're preaching to the choir and nobody's come up with much.
It's a case of concentrated benefits (DTC/Brokers) and distributed cost (shareholders). If you still talk to BBB he might have some ideas or, better yet, help spread this story.

doubt the shell has positive value

B2B, JD's karma follows him
in the business world IMO. Anyone want to sign a contract with him or a company he works for? I'm hoping that JD is found guilty of fraud, but even if Cyo is right and JD escapes direct fallout from GFCI/CTBG/FTXN/UERI/TTI I don't think he will do very well outside of scam circles.
Compensation for a scam or failed business is very unlikely; ask Madoff investors about scams or Lehman Brothers creditors about failed businesses. JD counts on the fact that shareholders will write off their losses and won't pursue him in court. IMO the only hope for criminal proceedings is that his actions were egregious enough to warrant prosecution. I suspect he would claim that Grifco's assets (Global & Leases) were sold to satisfy the RR/FFC3 judgment. Odd, and possibly illegal, that JD sold the leases to himself. There's also a possible complaint about issuing unregistered shares as free trading. He did issue and sell a lot of shares into the market - and issued many to the Usletons as payment for their scam:)

It's alive, ALIVE!
Is Jim Dial an executive with Ozona Nat Gas LLC? Rick_Rex has been all over this story on other boards.
Apparently Ozona NG gave VORTEX RESOURCES CORP (formerly EMVELCO CORP) a custom reaming last year with some gas wells in (you guessed it) Crocket county TX. I was surprised to see Trans Global Financial again. If it's the same crew, they are now a Mergers and Acquisitions Consultant instead of non-recourse call stock loan shark operation.

Wonder whether JD will ever get any grief from the SEC over the CTBG distribution.
best2
WOW, if CTBG issues shares to cover JD
it would add a new dimension to the ongoing mess when the new shares are distributed. Some holders were forced to buy CTBG shares at ~5 cents. If Swinford covers at this late date they would get the same number of 1 cent shares added to their accounts.
I have a theory that a certain amount to scamming is allowed (even encouraged by light penalties) so that money managers have horror stories to prospective clients. I wonder if JD will ever face criminal or civil charges if he settled this suit for "a very small amount of money".
Everyone lost confidence in our institutions when the credit bubble collapsed. Securitization without proper regulation ran amuck just like it did in the 1920's before the Glass Steagall act.
Tom Paine:
"...panics, in some cases, have their uses; they produce as much good as hurt. Their duration is always short; the mind soon grows through them, and acquires a firmer habit than before. We've already beaten up Yes11 and BBB just on the suspicion that the big bulls must have been "in on it". My own opinion is that they bought JD's line and way too much of his stock. By all accounts they lost a bundle but I don't pretend to know the facts for sure (it's none of my business). Yes11 claimed a particularly brutal financial reaming on the botched CTBG dividend a year after boasting about his big score when the dividend was issued (as I recall).
