Picked up 10k at 2.79, feeling lucky to get that
Question for investors meeting. What is their backup plan should the Nasdaq not accept their listing? What info can they share that shows the NASDAQ’s interest in CVSI?
Thanks
Would someone take notes from the conf call and post them as I will not have the chance to hop on until the replay comes out?
Thanks
I’m with you, hope we don’t either. I’m rather sure that the internal shareholders are hoping for the same result of no R/S however I think they have always know it may be necessary.
My price target has been $8 for a while now so if we get there organically before uplist im thrilled and this will have greatly exceeded my expectations. However if we need at 1 for 2 and we are at $5, IMO this can run to $15 to $18 quick which would still get me to my PT presplit but with half the shares. I’m happy and fully expected some sort of R/S.
My plan is to cut my position by 75% at this point and then reevaluate my hypothesis.
I think they may still need an R/S even if the price gets to 4 or 5 as they may need a higher PPS to generate interest for the underwriter and institutional investors. Remember many won’t invest in a stock under $5 so I can see a 1 for 2 split being very realistic. Let’s hope we don’t need it and can get to $8 range beforehand but this is more wishful thinking on OTC market. We also have no idea how much this can run once hemp becomes legal. Just my 2 cents
Well said Ania77! Look to buy on dips if you want to increase your position. This is a winner in the LT. Follow your research and believe in this company. Your patience will be rewarded.
Well said Carl. I expect sideways trading through August. We will see this move again when talk of Farm Act picks up
Wow!! What debt does this company have? I’m in a meeting and can’t dig into it yet. Please help satisfy my curiosity!
10q does not show $850k note that is due in May 19, did they pay this off? Can someone provide their insight on the 10q. I’m in a meeting and can’t get the chance to dig into it. Thanks
Thanks Carl, I’ll call their help desk. Was trying to avoid that but it seems like the easiest solution.
TD Ameritrade question: I just started using this platform as I wanted level 2 data that I do not get from E*TRADE. How do I find out when I purchased my shares? Can’t seem to figure this platform out. Any advance besides going back through transactions?
As much as I’d like to see $4 by Friday, I’m not sure it will hold. I’m cool with a little volatility as we continue to build higher highs and higher lows. Just think getting to $4 by Friday is a bit aggressive at this point. What other news will be after this that will hold this price at $4 in the ST?
This conf call and investors meeting could be the last time we hear from them before the Nasdaq offering. Yes, there will be a prospectus with additional info however I think we will get a lot of detailed info to attract more interest.
IMO they will be on Nasdaq before Q3 earnings are reported which will give them an additional boost shortly after offering.
Attracting new money. I have a friend in LA who is the head of the news dept for a major network and she is always looking for great story ideas. Her market is the #2 market in the country and her stories often are picked up across the country. My thought is to have her do a piece on CBD and it’s benefits from the CVSI perspective.
What I am asking of this board are ideas to make my discussion as strong as possible with her as a piece like this in the news could easily garner more attention for patients and also investors.
Any thoughts?
I did see the volume but thought it was a purchase? I watch this on CNBC app and sometimes TD Ameritrade platform.
You are correct, I got out and took some profit then it dipped into the 1.50’s and decided to get back in as this all part of healthy retraction levels and also added to my position this week at 2.30.
I agree and see potential consolidation right where we are at however think we could get a little more upside through Friday as I’m not sure the word has fully gotten out.
We need new money to make this go higher
Thanks Trader! I really appreciate your insight and will continue to educate myself on charting. I’m a LT holder with 860k shares and strongly believe in our future. I like to know when volatility is coming into play and may decide to reduce my position temporarily to lock in some gains as my DCA is .48. I’m also looking to add so if now is the time and the run gets us closer to $4 then I’m a buyer but always looking to invest in the dips.
TraderGL,
Thanks for the chart update. I’m just getting into chart analysis and this looks like it has room to run to about 3.5 to 4. Can you share what areas of resistance that you are seeing?
I see the breakout above 2.78 with a relatively low RSI as the volume has just begun to come back. When I look at PAR sar, it still had a ways to catch up to the current move. What else should I look at. Go easy as I’m just learning charting here and mostly look at fundamentals and catalysts
Thanks

Micro,
Hey, just wanted to let you know that after careful consideration I went back and changed my vote for the R/S. I don’t think they will need it but given the financial shape of this company and the rapidly growing environment I want them to have as many tools in the shed as possible. While I hope they do not do a RS I think this will be a very big benefit once they uplist.
You kept me thinking on this decision and I appreciate you helping me to see otherwise. Hopefully my 800k shares will play a small part in making this company better.
US Hemp Roundtable Update:
As you undoubtedly know by now, history was made last week when the U.S. Senate overwhelmingly passed its version of the 2018 Farm Bill, which included, in whole, the Hemp Farming Act of 2018. If fully enacted, hemp and popular products like hemp-derived CBD would be permanently legalized, treated as agricultural commodities, and removed from the purview of the Controlled Substances Act.
That’s a critical “if” in the previous sentence. There are still important steps that need to be taken. And a bevy of nuances about the legislative process that were not covered in your favorite Schoolhouse Rock songs.
We’ve been flooded with questions here at US Hemp Roundtable Central, so we thought it would be helpful to share our thoughts on the path forward:
Both the Senate and the House have passed their own versions of the Farm Bill. The Senate produced a bi-partisan compromise with overwhelming support that included the Hemp Farming Act in whole. The House was largely silent on hemp. The House’s version also included controversial provisions that placed work requirements on food stamp (SNAP) recipients, resulting in very narrow passage on partisan lines.
In the coming days, House and Senate leaders will appoint members to serve on a House/Senate conference committee to iron out the differences between the two versions. The conference committee could meet for weeks or even months, depending on the nature of the disputes between the chambers. Once they reach a resolution, they will issue a Conference Report that will be sent back to the House and Senate for final passage. With the support of a majority of both chambers, the bill would head to the President’s desk for signature.
We are quite optimistic that the Senate hemp language will prevail in conference committee. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has secured support from leading Democrats and Republicans, including Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, a rare bi-partisan occurrence. Also, most objections to the Hemp Farming Act have resulted from ignorance (usually confusion with marijuana), and there will be plenty of time for us to educate each conferee (see below).
Where there is some concern involves the food stamp debate. A Farm Bill with SNAP work requirements would never be able to pass the Senate where Democrats would be able to gather at least 41 votes to mount a successful filibuster. At the same time, many in the House GOP (as well as the White House) feel quite passionate about pressing forward on the work requirements.
The date to watch is September 30. That’s when the 2014 Farm Bill expires. Members of Congress who have to run for reelection this year won’t want to head to the ballot box antagonizing their farm communities who rely on the Farm Bill to authorize popular programs like subsidies and crop insurance. That means they are likely to develop a compromise to pass the Farm Bill. A worst case scenario would be that Congress votes to “extend” the 2014 Farm Bill until the new year. That likely would extend the current hemp pilot programs, or perhaps expand them.
While we are optimistic about final passage with permanent hemp legalization, we must remain vigilant. If a poison pill emerges — like Senator Grassley’s anti-CBD amendment from last month — we must be prepared to flood the Hill with our opposition. More fundamentally, we must continue our education process: There are still too many Members of Congress who don’t understand the extraordinary value of hemp to US farmers, small businesses, and consumers.
That’s where you come in: We have redesigned our online portal to empower you to easily email your Senators and Congressmen, to urge them to support the Hemp Farming Act language in the Senate Farm Bill, and to ask them to lobby members of the House/Senate conference committee to ensure hemp’s inclusion in the final conference report. Please use our link below to access the portal, and please share this message with your friends, customers, colleagues and social media contacts.
If this goes to anything less than $1.40 most of us long timers will be buying like crazy. I have orders in ready to bite should we be lucky enough for such a pullback. I think you may get lucky this week and be able to pick up a few shares around 1.50 as the violins is low and those that are selling just don’t want to wait for the longer term.
From what I read this is a delivery technology platform only. There will need to be clinical trials that use this technology performed. This is many years away from being an issue
Completely agree with your statements. I remember Belviq, been in the pharma industry for 20+ years.
The gum is the next leg but 3 years out, it has a lot of potential but will only be investible if they see some efficacy in Phase 1 trials which are not designed for efficacy. It they get a sense of how well this could work. Even at this point it’s very risky however they won’t have a readout on Phase 1 until Q3 at the earliest.
We are all investing in the supplement side. They are a cash cow and can easily see major retailers wanting their product however anyone who is in the retail supplement space will want to go after them as it will be easier to acquire the CBD business and integrate into their supply chain rather than start their own. The GRAS is the money train and will make them be a serious takeout target.
I think if they ever decide to sell, they only sell the retail side and keep pharma side for a later payday
I don’t see how this would sting? I see an investment opportunity as this is a major issue in the pharma world and their product would need to be utilized on those crossing the BBB. This is good for everyone as this is a technology not a competitor and will only make therapies more effective
Thanks! I’ll look into GRAS a little more and see if the FDA needs to review for them to advertise this on their product.
Thanks Ben! I could see this getting to ten really fast. IMO once hemp is legalized and GRAS cert is issued, this is a very attractive company for acquisition. I can see a $10 to $15 offer being thrown around especially if they land stores like CVS, Walgreens, GNC etc
Thanks Rifleshaft I appreciate your insight. You are correct that many things are going the right way, I just don’t see the needle moving much until the bill is passed as this is the last major hurdle we have. You are correct that the volume dries up naturally this tome of year and that is why I’m hoping we get one last chance to add on any dip that may happen. I’m not saying it is going to, this is more of wishful hopes on my part.
Regarding GRAS certification, do you know when they filed with the FDA and how long the review process will take?
Thanks
I’m selling half my position at $5 then another half of the remaining at $10 and so on until $20 when I’m out. However if there is an R/S I’m selling 75% days before it happens and will look to buy on the dip.
I’m not sure this will get the chance to uplist once hemp is legal as a buyout may come into play.
My plans are subject to change based on market development post legalization but these are my plans for now
What are your thoughts on selling?
Relax guys, the bill still needs to go through the senate/ house committee. We still have a ways to go but this is another milestone.
The volume has dried up in this stock and the market in general with the 4th of July week coming up. I think we should get our dollars ready as there could be a steady decline over the next week for no reason other than lack of volume. There could be a buying opportunity for us. This will be the last time this stock will be this cheap, get ready guys. I think July 5 or 6 will be the bottom. Just my 2 cents and I’m hoping to grab another 100k shares to add to my 800k

Look at the drug development section of this letter, it says clinical trials program to begin in 2019. This would be Phase 1
Thank you!
If you could send me the link or direct me where to look I would be interested in what they are saying as I have not heard or seen anything to date. These trials would be published on the FDAs website and there is no available info on their site to 007
I think you mean Phase 1 as they have not studied this in humans yet. These are small trials the expense comes in larger size Phase 2 and 3. They will need funding or a partner at that point.
MACD and RSI all look like a base has formed
Micro, I respect your views and insight on this stock. I have several reasons why I’m against this RS. I don’t think they need this as this is undervalued as it currently sits and this could easily get to $5 once hemp bill is approved. Next with hemp approval opens up many financing options that don’t currently exist. There will be a new wave of investors wanting to get involved in this sector once the major risk has been taken off of the table. I also see potential M&A offers being made in this space that will drive the SP up dramatically, not saying they would sell but an offer for a competitor or CVSI moves this needle quickly and quite frankly can’t see companies interested in this space sitting on the sidelines long as this new market will rapidly grow. Finally they have enough cash to fund trials for next year and as you know I’m in the pharma industry and if there is truth to the efficacy of 007 there will be significant interest in partnering or acquiring this company.
There is so much momentum coming for this company that I don’t see a reason to rush the uplist rather much more value in waiting for this company/ market to develop a little more.
One other thing they did not explain what the SS would look like if they do an RS to uplist. Will there be a new offering or change to preferred and non preferred shares? They won’t have enough stock available after an RS to entice new money with their current structure. Had they supplied more info in this area my decision may have been different. Hope you can understand where I’m coming from.
Just voted against R/S 800,000 shares here
Letter from CVSI just filed:

Just wanted to point out, the Hemp bill is not a part of the house bill. There will be a house-senate meeting next week to hash out the final bill. We still have a ways to go.
I’m pro CVSI and the fundamentals are strong however the technicals say something different. There is opportunity both long and short term here. Just my 2 cents
