It is AWFULLY coincidental that we are running on fumes with no offering, and the MDT reveal is around the corner. Pepper in Chad Zaring, and the MDT Storz partnership, Fowler leaving to Storz and you have a heck of a lot of coincidences. Could all just be coincidences or could not. On the flip side I doubt MDT wouldve allowed the lig clip deal since they have their own offering through Covidien. UNLESS covidien is about to offload the product line...they have been shedding a lot of commodity type products lately...wound care, OR disposables. Look it up, son.
If MDT new drops, hold on to your panties ladies, this ship is going through the roof!
The smart thing for MDT would be a buyout with contingencies, donnot close the deal until FDA and additional pay outs with progressive milestones met post FDA. That wau they can snatch it up at a discount and mitigate FDA denial risk. It happens my friend. Just ask your cousin, the humboldt corvina.
You can't think of a single reason?
Wish I could. I tied my cash up in a long position that would make a pretty handsome tax loss
Livendi - truth is word of a raise could drop at any time, and most of us are expecting it. However the unusual bit is how "down to the wire" we are...by many estimations we should be out of cash either now or soon. This is what suggests there is something else going on behind the scenes. But no one knows for sure except maybe glg or flendy.
Also - Zaring could've left for a number of reasons. Heck they could've let him go because they didnt like his performance. The unusual bit here is there would have likely been some form of non-compete or bery least NDA to protect Medtronic's robot. Something doesn't add up fully, which suggests maybe he has some connection still to MDT. All speculation though. By the end of the year (or sooner) we will know a lot more.
Ive always been a Patagonian toothfish fan, never that into snapper
Haven't even announced the partnership yet and you're already calling them liars.
That seems off... an umbilicus incision is not a naturally occurring orifice. If that's what it stands for its a huge mis-representation, and our officers are a lot dumber than any of us thought.
Maybe it's short for EvolutioN Of Surgery?
Amen to that, brother
What's the evidence?
Question is how did they get the whole chicken breast through the neck of that jar?
How do you know there are no shorters here?
What do you mean either? Did someone write a similar article on SA about tmdi?
Let us also not forget Mac's specialty is bringing to market then selling.
In order to make money off this stock, patients and patience are needed
Ha I'm old for a recent grad...lets just say I was born in the golden era of new wave...took some time off college and went back to night school so it took 2x as long to earn. Enough about me though, I'm curious about your background
glg - for my own curiosity, what is your financial background. I recently earned my bachelors in finance...so I admittedly am not a professional but know enough to be dangerous
If this is indeed a pre raise pump, I'd be curious to know how that is orchestrated.
Ya know this reminds me of a realization i recently had. There's a potentially fatal flaw in so many med device proforma analyses - using # of hospitals. One needs to use # of hospital systems, because that is how large capital purchases are often made. Its possible multiple hospitals within a system could purchase the same device but the system approach is more conservative and I'd argue accurate and better.
Teleflex had a hot streak with acquisitions. I wonder if they may bid for titan. It seems they are not large enough with revenues less thab $2b annually
Wouldn't they just do a shelf offering shortly?
It is his right, it's a free country
Looks like short volume picking back up
You're right, apologies (all please take note on my proper use of "you're", study it and try to use it correctly yourself so as to lend more credibility to your statements) ...
https://www.pentaxmedical.com/pentax/en/99/1/HOYA-Parent-Company
In that case yes it makes sense. It's a reputable brand but not as much recignition in the OR as KS, stryker, codmed for visualization. My hope is we end up with the later.
To clarify, pentax was sold by HOYA to Ricoh in 2008, microline is currently a wholly owned subsidiary of HOYA. I don't see that alone as proof that pentax is the scope/video processor manufacturer. Any other info that supports the pentax theory?
Yea needs some viagara or cialis now
Can't put lipstick on a turd.
What have we been singing, bohemian rhapsody?
Your theory can't be ruled out. I'd say if no news and raise combo platter by end of month, you're on to something.
I don't follow
I hope big things are indeed about to happen but a more likely scenario based on the past + known current need is management is waiting for highest possible sp on which to base offering. Would you agree?
Raise under shelf?
I don't doubt it
Need to claify...shares offered on shelf
They could scoop shares ...perhaps through a discreet channel
My mistake mang it seems we have the same opinion on the matter
They don't have to pull anything from the shelf...could be to cover short term or for "optics" and they pull little to nothing IF a partner is going to pay the way.
Haha more like CODmed. They are second rate, I can't think of a single thing they sell as the market leader...Argon beam coagulator? More like they are the only one still selling that dinosaur. Their growth strategy is non existent too...teleflex, merit medical (not as much in the OR space currently) and BD have all been swallowing up companies lately... I would rank them ahead of conmed as a suitor.
Im leaning towards your stryker theory or KS because covidien would most likely require sport use their ligation clips not teleflex. KS does not have to mean a tie to covidien either...could have a straight partnership with titan. Makes as much sense as stryker.
