The co's song and dance about providing clean water to 3rd world countries is all well and good BUT both the sales cycle and distribution channel are BIG TIME issues.
Perhaps the recent strategic alliances mean AWGI has seen the light that providing beer drinkers of the world is key to their survival.
GLTA
Agreed. These tests are truly watershed moments for AWGI
And BTW re my post about the ECB's keep in mind what my handle is.
Good point re licensing.
*IF* the May results are positive, I can categorically state there are EAST COAST BOYS who will be interested.
Good post. I'm of the view that AWGI needs to FOCUS on a given market segment and the craft niche is a viable option.
That being said, I consider these 3 breweries beta testers for the industry as a whole.
AWGI very likely has an agreement with them that they will issue PR's of their own pending good results.
Let's hope that happens.
So noted. And I do hope that you are right.
Actually I have no clue what you THINK you know.
All I did was ask you WHY you seem to think there's reason to think Q1 results will be "positive"
Here Here!
What possible reason do you think Q1 results will be positive?
The PR re craft beers was AFTER Q1.
And we don't have any clue of the terms, which may very well have been on terms VERY favorable to the 3 brewers.
Explain your post please.
I've advocated for developing SPECIFIC market niches such as craft beewing.
There's simply NO demand for their $1,800+ home product.
Do you really expect a Walmart "associate" to have enough product knowledge to make a sale?
Doc..good point.
BTW I'm sure many of us here would volunteer to be taste testers for the new brew right?
I'm a teetotaler myself, BUT if consumers find the AWGI beer more tasty, lobbying the brewers will cause a groundswell of support for AWGI's technology.
Who wants to drink to that? :)
Thanks for your informative post. In my view, AWGI has the POTENTIAL to become THE de facto standard in the craft beer industry.
As I've stated in prior posts, focusing on a specific market niche is VIP.
BTW, there are a number of creative financing techniques I'd be happy to structure for the co. to fund their growth.
Methinks SB IS AWGI's big kahuna.
the specifics of their deal may NOT be disclosed BUT the point is AWGI (finally) has paying customers to showcase their technology to.
Pending successful results, it wouldn't surprise me that 1 of the BIG 5 breweries in the US would take notice.
super DD!!
3 these breweries COULD become the #1 marketing tool for AWGI
great DD!
agreed. but the co has to make sure they dot all the i's and cross all the t's re future PR's.
As I previously posted, the gaffe re PACIFIC put them on the SEC's watch list.
nice DD!
DD VIP re these 3 breweries
Keep I mind CA has 1 of the largest economies in the WORLD.
And even though I'm 3,500 miles away how serious the drought has been has bee all over the news.
Put yourself in the position of a pot grower, or brewery and *IF* you could substantially reduce your water expense and THINK what a competitive advantage.
It's Economics 101 friends.
Finally some1 other than me has done some DD.
You mentioned some relevant points about a couple of SPECIFIC market niches AWGI could/should develop.
Perhaps we may hear of something more substantive in this regard
via a PR.
It certainly is Monday; almost 300 MILLION shares traded less than a hr. into trading and stock is up 66 2/3 %
Who can say WHY?
Your idea of "open dialog" to quote Y-O-U is to tell us to "sit back and wait"?
That's hilarious!
Now PLEASE run along sonny
Thank you.
You my friend have demonstrated a keen sense of the patently obvious by posting numerous messages re AWGI's pathetic sales.
We GET it OK?
Re your "open dialogue" comment, I'm ready, willing ad able to discuss HOW the co can do just that?
Do you have any thoughtful ideas or are you hell-bent on posting the same old same old messages?
BTW let's keep in mind that the demo unit in CA which you've referenced was a FREEBIE.
It did NOT result in at $$$$ to the co. Actually it drained them of cash. Which they simply don't have very much of per their 10K.
It's certainly NOT a news flash that AWGI's sales are laughable.
I've pointed this out here ad nauseum.
The question is WHERE and HOW can they gain enough traction to avoid
bankruptcy given their insolvent balance sheet????
The investor group I have done DD for *POSSIBLY* may make an overture to enter into a joint venture for a specific market segment or simply wait for a CH 13 or 7 type filing.
I recall alerting this board about the volume surge and how the low sale was a TELL.
BTW we're at 84 MILLION volume today..oh my
those sales are codes..trust me
Stock price was hammered relentlessly today on almost 10 times normal volume.
That's a toxic combination.
The 10K info was NOT a surprise to me at all given my DD as of their 9/30/16 10Q #'s
One notable fact is AWGI's 2016 sales were literally 1/6th of 2015 sales.
In other words, their technology has NOT been embraced by the market.
As I pointed out previously simply put absent MAJOR R & D to improve their product line, AWGI is dead in the water.
may be capitulation
perhaps some1 is concerned that the co hasn't filed their 10K
just a thot
in last 2 trading sessions, almost 160 MILLION shares have traded.
the annual report to be fied with SEC is OVERDUE.
what could be going on???
In a nutshell, the findings of my recent DD are:
1. 2016 has been a very trying yr for AWGI. Their 12/31/15 10K
indicated that the co was hopeful that their 2016 sales would
ramp. However, as of 9/30/16 they had way less than $40K in sales
2. Their 12/31/16 10K is due to be filed with the SEC in less than a
month and with 99.44% probability will have what the accounting
profession calls "a going concern" comment.
3. their cash balance at 9/30/16 was $300. The 12/31/16 cash amt.
is anybody's guess given their lack of sales.
4. The NEED for clean water is undeniable BUT it appears that the
co's tech is simply NOT economically viable.
5. Based on the situation, 2017 will be equally challenging, absent
some sort of strategic alliance or biz combination.
ALL OF THE ABOVE IS IN MY OPINION
Yes, there are other public co's in AWGI's sector.
Virtually all of these companies which are "pure plays" have absolutely positively miniscule market caps.
Per Yahoo finance, the co that you referenced has a market cap of less than 1/3 of AWGI.
Since a co's ability to expand is a function of its capitalization,
the LACK of CASH is a constraining factor BIG TIME.
My "bet" is that AWGI's lack of focus will be its undoing.
Which system has the most potential to create CASH FLOW?
That area is where the co needs to emphasize...yesterday.
All in my opinion.
Feedback please.
Thank you.
To be sure, absent some sort of significant development, the stock is going nowhere..and fast.
What I watch carefully is VOLUME.
Stalled out it seems, yes
news pending????
There's the reason for the volume spike I "predicted"
VOLUME SPIKE EXPECTED ASAP
friends...look for today's trading to exceed average daily volume
Hmmm...heavy volume in early trading today.
