Hey Outlook how many years did MC run his shit show? Sigma was founded in 2010. So MC was running it for Eight years - right?
2 years is nothing to turn it around
Time will show that JR is a class act compared to MC
Kanya your posts are factual and positive.
Thank you
Materialize market cap 1.06Bn. Looking forward to November to Sigma Materlialize product
2 years as CEO. technology productized in Nov 2018. Material upgrade in May 2019 to v 5.0. Lots to come I am sure. GLTY. No doubt when there is news you will deem it negative
JR has ton of experience managing and protecting IP vs Goliaths. Still I want to move on tbh. You are so negative. Not judging but all you post is negative. GLTY
disagree. IP. Patents have a ton of years ahead of them. # of shares out are 11M only. 3D AM not in serial production yet generally. Unique IP 100% relevant. Stay positive.
question of time IMO. Not if but when. Time will tell
The big guys entering this market - Toshiba, HP, Mitsubishi etc - are probably more likely to do bigger deals with Sigma - meaning investing in them and fixing Balance Sheet. More of a cultural fit for these guys. Now that would be great news. Maybe that's the news that's coming? Of course one would think why don't they buy them outright if so? The IP and now the product are the drivers in a market that will take off.
Like all it is frustrating waiting for so long w/no news. News gotta be coming.
Thoughts?
Disagree. I think JR is a pro. Think it's a joke to compare MC to him (IMO).
Didn't MC have his wife on the payroll - or is that an urban myth?
familiar with SGLB's patents ? Many, many years before they expire. More patents to be issued also as I am sure you know
correct DJ has a relationship with SGLB. That doesn't mean what they published re Materialize is wrong however
for the record I agree they should not have cancelled earnings cc
thank you
there must be many thing he is "hiding". Non public info like deal status, sensitive developments, partnership developments etc. Always the case that CEOs know stuff that is non public.
think it's wrong no CC on earnings with Q&A. Does anybody talk to JR?
Is Melissa Orme ex Morf3D now Boeing VP AM a fan of Sigma?
don't let the facts get in the way.....
so he has been running the co since jul 2017. two years
compare resumes. One for example has ample experience of M&A and one does not
how so? Why else would you add new sales, BD and a new experienced CFO?
JR upgrading the whole team. BD, Sales and CFO is all. Readying for bigger and better things
please try to be accurate. Rice started in Jul 2017. Is that over three years ago?
Oh Please. Did you ever spend time with Nannete?. Wonderful person but not experienced or powerful enough as CFO with M&A experience etc. She is capable and wonderful. But not as high powered as the new CFO
??? what happened?
well stated Silversmith.
Sigma will be successful IMO.
Not IF but WHEN
August 10 to 15 range
Anybody on here go to Shareholder meeting?
What was the Q&A section like?
Any comments much appreciated
disagree. These things take a long time.
RTE should be renamed TE - drop the Rapid!!
OEM discussions def take a very long period of time
When the first one closes that may act as a catalyst for other cycles
I expect a bunch of RTEs
Maybe an OEM announcement also
he said "on average" one per month for 2019.
5 RTE announced in 2018
bet there will be quite a few announced together
There will be no news today
I do expect news soon though
By definition this cannot be true. Patents surpassed by other Patents can only be the case if they are radically different
Please provide one or two examples?
Is Sigma working with any of the big boys entering ten market? Hp? Toshiba? Mitsubishi? Can someone ask tomorrow and what s nature of that engagement if there is one?
That's the sense I get.
If Sigma's product is the only real "in-situ" QA corrective offering for 3D AM protected by an increasing moat of patents (as opposed to post production CT scans - kind of too late) you would think it is too compelling not to acquire and gain a massive differentiator than can be then scaled by a big co with big $$.
Have that impression too.
Also I suspect it maybe one of the big guys entering the 3D AM market like Toshiba, Mistubishi, HP etc
I say that 'cos they have a much deeper and historical non ego based culture, technical capability and understanding
Bingo...that's the point I was obviously inept at trying to make
Guess who this is ?
