This guy WILL HAVE OUR ANSWERS!
Google his name and read!
Professor in Sonochemistry University of Illinois
If someone with a descent understanding of the physics behind the Sonocracker could email him and ask some questions we could get some real information.
I just had an e-mail almost typed up when I jumped to google to get a link and lost my e-mail. I was so mad cause I spent good time making sure I was going to have a good chance at a detailed response and I blew it. I will do it again but I think others may offer better questions and be able to understand.
I urge others to try to contact him as well.

We should call Ken Suslick!
Got this off the yahoo board
this is from an article on Ken Suslick, widely recognized as on of the foremost autorities on the subject of using ultrasound to alter chemical reactions, and sulphco owns the patents: " As it turned out, Suslick’s early hunch was right: a lot of chemistry can happen in and around the imploding bubbles. In recent years, his team has used the ultrasound-induced bubbles as tiny crucibles to make metal catalysts that can clean up gasoline by removing environmentally harmful sulfur. They’ve used it to answer fundamental questions about superconductors—materials that conduct electricity without heating up the way normal copper wires do. They’ve used it to make tiny, hollow spheres of protein that deliver taxol to tumors. (The tiny drug capsules are being tested in advanced clinical trials.) Dozens of other researchers study what is now known as sonochemistry. Ken Suslick “almost singlehandedly founded this field,” Girolomi says."

This is for Here and Ragingbull board
Someone address this to the ragingbull board and lets see if anybody knows anything. Did Rudy make Millions in the 70s and 80s from the patented wood burning pellets?
http://xrint.com/patents/us/4015951
I read here that he did. I forgot the link but it was from an article from a long time ago. I will try to find but this is the excerpt I saved:
Gunnerman, a physicist, made millions of dollars in
the 1970s and 1980s by inventing a process to make
wood waste into pellets to fuel wood stoves. He also
invented a fuel, known as A-55, out of purified water
and naphtha, a crude oil derivative. Three buses in
Nevada ran briefly on the fuel in the late 1990s but
the fuel never caught on.
So, if he made millions than he is a millionaire and would have plenty of CLEAN money for the funding of SulphCo. Funny how the bashers nevery mention this.
Can anyone on any of the boards verify or elaborate for me. Did anyone even know?
Thanks ahead of time.
Regarding the trip, I have not been around all weekend so I am sorry blackcloud for not getting back to you. I see Erose spoke to Peter and he said not to go. What to make of that I do not know. Dangerous place or nothing to see? Maybe nothing to see right now. Maybe anything right.

I have to step for the evening but I will take your advice and create another e-mail adresss with yahoo and post and get in touch tommorrow so we can work over the weekend. My wife wants to go out for a while so I will submit to keep her happy. We will get this done and try to get 3 to 4 people over there, being that it would be smart to travel in a small group.
Get the word out. Please, no yahoo board for this one. The real posters around here know the deal. I look forward to speaking with all of you. It has been a pleasure to read a board like that.

Some of the guys on the ragingbull board are talking about taking a trip to Fujiaria. I am all for it. If enough people are serious, I will donate some cash for the trip. This MUST be very organized and WE ALL need to make at least phone contact and become somewhat familiar with each other. I dont want to give my cash to some arsehole. This can be done and I urge many of you to think about this so WE can really first hand find the truth.
I cannot post on the ragingbull board cause I have been exiled for using profanity. Can someone go to the board and let them know that a collaborative effort and group should be formed. E-mail addresses, phone numbers even adresses so we can BE IN REAL TOUCH and we will be able to determine who is for real and who is fake.
I am EXTREMELY SERIOUS as this investment could either make or break some of us. AS we all know, if it is for real, this IS A RETIREMENT stock, if not, it is a POS as the bashers would call it.
Please respond and get the word to the guys over at ragingbull.

Look, first of all you are more than likely paid. Anyone on any message board with the stock symbol in their name is either a one stock investor or a paid basher or pumper. THAT IS A FACT. There are not stupid people everywhere as you guys may imply.
Now back to a point you want to distort. The scalability of the machines is not that big of a problem as you skeptics say. A 30,000 BPD machine is simply 6 5000 BPD machines paralleled. If the 2000 BPD machine and the 5000 BPD machine work fine then that is what it is. That is what they are shipping and will most likely be more feasable for success.
I dont know if any of you have read the patents, but Sonocracker produces a very large soundwave far greater than any of the know methods for the same process. The Sonocracker can be used to break down the chemical compounds with any medium but heavy crude is where the money is at. The frequency is in the range of 8 to 20 MHZ not KHZ. To add, 300 volts is the max power to run the Sonocracker, if the specs are still correct. I dont know about you, but that is not that much power to be using considering the process that will be running. Think of the power and VIBRATION that can be generated from a machine like that. Pitches like that would destroy a human eardrum within seconds.
In the Smart Money article Dr. Fu Yen whatever says it can work it just has to be scaled up. What do you think they have been doing over the years? Doing nothing and now it works. I dont think so. They figured it out, it works and now its time to use it. Have fun with your non-carreer paid message board job. I think people like you are pathetic and very dishonest. I have delt with many dishonest people in my life but these people that are to me obviously paid have to be some of the lowest people on earth. It is easy to say what you say on a computer but in real life face to face I bet most of you would get broke in half.

They have been a collaborative group of people on that board working together for a year following the company and trying to make the best sense of the situation. Everyone has good input at one time or another and you will find the best convesrsation there. Just follow the conversations and you will see the knowledge spill out little by little. Very educational may I add.
I use message boards for a good starting block of where and what information to look for. If one is just discovering a company as I did 2 weeks ago, I would want some way to catch up quickly. The only way besides reading all documents from the company is to go and see what everyone else thinks, especially WAY before the fireworks start.
You cant be lazy on this one or it will leave you in the dust, up or down. My suggestions are read all you can. Try to understand to process itself and what the machine actually does. It is all very logical and easy to understand the concept.
Things like this at a commercial grade just do not get perfected overnight and that is why the Sonocarcker has been under the radar until the past 6 months. The larger the machine the larger the parts and from what I have read Home Depot just doesn't have the parts or supplies to build such rare parts that the Sonocracker will be using internally. The physics behind it are proved its all a matter of scaling up the process for the REAL MONEY. Notice in the patent application no other process produces decibel level even close to the Sonocracker process. While other similar technologies produce KHZ the Sonocracker produces Megahurts. Correct me if I'm wrong but that is a huge step up in enery and probably more than enough to crack(vibrate) the oil. As the big kicker the application states that the process is best used in a flothru tank for contiuous running just as what is being built for delivery in the middle east.
Everything is adding up and this puzzle has a clear picture to me. I have got a solid answer for just about any question or concern that I have read on any board.
Good Luck to all and don't be lazy on this one. This could be once in a lifetime type deal.

Has anyone seen this
The president of SulphCo Inc. says his company’s contract with a nation in the United Arab Emirates marks SulphCo’s breakthrough.
SulphCo Inc. signed a deal with the Government of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates to form jointly a new company to introduce and implement SulphCo’s Sonocracking technology.
The Sparks company said last week the new entity will be 50 percent owned by the Government of Fujairah and 50 percent by SulphCo.
Peter Gunnerman, president of SulphCo, said the contract comes after three years of marketing in the Middle East. He called it “a pretty big deal.”
“We’re a company that’s coming out of five years of research and development and are just entering the commercialization phase,” Gunnerman said. “We don’t have a revenue stream from the product in the field. But with this contract, we’ll be working in some of the significant oil markets that will speed up the ability to generate that revenue.”
Sonocracking technology uses ultrasound to pre-treat crude oil prior to refining, reducing sulfur and nitrogen. That, in turn, helps produce more gallons — as much as seven, the company claims — of usable oil per barrel.
The processing cost using SulphCo’s technology is “somewhere between 18 cents and 20 cents a barrel,” Gunnerman said, and a 30,000-barrel-per-day sonocracking unit would cost under $5 million.
“It’s just not an environment friendly technology, but it’s also a fairly large economic driver,” he added.
The company has been knocking on doors throughout the Middle East for two years, and set up its wholly owned subsidiary SulphCo Saudi Arabia Inc. in 2004.
The final contract scheduled to be signed this week will spell out the responsibilities of the partners. SulphCo will be responsible for providing the equipment and implementing the process. The Government of Fujairah will supply the land, undertake construction and of course, get SulphCo the contacts it needs within the region, according to Gunnerman.
While dealing with Kuwait Oil Company, Kuwait National Petroleum Company and Saudi Aramco — the oil majors in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia — SulphCo executives learned that a foreign concern couldn’t simply go and market directly to the oil companies.
“You need an in-country partner, a trading company that will do your introduction and will be the interface,” Gunnerman said. “And the contact in UAE spawned out of the initial contacts in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia where we also established our own subsidiary.”
The company has various levels of contacts to spread word about its technology in Europe, Asia and South America.
In September, it installed a sonocracking plant in Seoul, South Korea. In October it signed a test agreement with Total France to evaluate the technical viability of its technology. In Venezuela and Mexico, contacts with oil companies are in the early stages, Gunnerman added, though they’re more advanced in Mexico.
U.S. companies’ reception to SulphCo’s technology has been reserved.
The company had a collaboration agreement with Chevron Texaco for several years but no deal resulted. Other companies in the country have shown no interest, and Gunnerman is not sure why.
“Perhaps it’s just the market conditions,” he said. “The U.S. refineries are finally making money after many years of not making money. So they don’t want to be bothered. Or may be it’s just a cultural issue. International companies appear to be more open to new technologies and working with a small company.”

I cannot post on Ragingbull but I have went back to mid June of last year and read every single post on that board. That is where all the good DD has been done. So, thanks to you guys I have a firm picture and stand strong with my shares unless things do not go well. I too believe this can prolong Peak Oil as I have written about in my other posts. Once fully validated the parabolic move in this stock will be unlike anything we have ever seen. I say good luck to all.
I agree with Erose that the increase in API gravity is where the juice is at. The fuel off the top is huge in itself but if we are talking about an improvement of API gravity around 10 degrees that is huge. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't that allow these heavy crude and bitumen producers to increase profits at least 50% or more off the top with less fixed costs for the refining? I would think so. Overall I see the energy crisis as very real and this is just what the world needs.
Good luck and tell the guys over at ragingbull that the Blazedhorseman sends out his congradulations and to keep up the good work. We will all ride together.

I cannot post on the Ragingull board cause of some things I said around a year ago on another board. Point is I was mad at the Bashers and cursed them out royally because they were distributing false information and was running the stock down. Needless to say Ragingbull exiled me.

Well, regardless
Roughly 2.5 million is peanuts for the machine considering how much revenue can be derived from just one machine. This may explain why the JV may pay for itself within the first month of use. These sonocrackers are fairly cheap. People just have no idea yet. The ones that bash SUF now are the same ones that will be buying higher because it will go much higher.
I read the DD summary again, and what I put together, 70/30 or not, even at 1.00 to 1.50 per barrel off the top still is not bad. There will be so much crude moving through the machines the money will be piling up quickly.
Also, Total is still testing the machine right? One by one we will see companies wanting to try this technology. The question is why not? Why not see if our 1,000,000 dollars is barrels of oil can be squeezed into 1.2 million. The opportunity cost for a company NOT to use the sonocracker wil be far greater than the investment itself.
Just my 2 cents for the day

I smell TASR.
It is hard to keep emotion on the low. This thing is pretty much parabolic over the past month. My hunch is THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT HEARD OF THIS COMPANY.
P.S. I found TASR and did my DD when it was $45 dollars before any split or any of the hype. I was scared to sell ERTS, INTC and PNRA at the time because the fundamentals were too high. WHAT A MISTAKE that was and I paid dearly.
This is much bigger than TASR ever was and ever will be and........... the future will tell all.

Excellent Post
Terry I had to repost this. I guess this answers my last question about Peak Oil. Ironically I feel the same about the new bull market in energy just like tech was in the 90's. Interesting to know that energy only makes up about 10% of the market cap of the S & P 500. Doesn't energy make the world turn? I thought so. So does money. Any correlation? I Think so. Good Luck.
Interesting long term NG view:
by: joearenagates 12/25/05 10:29 pm
Regardless of fundamentals, investing in stocks is a zero sum game, and as such is a function of supply and demand, and the law of large numbers. Thus, when there is no one left to buy a stock, it ceases to increase in value.
Therefore, UPL can be viewed as a contrarian play in that, outside of the industry, it still trades in relative obscurity. Talk to the average investor, and you will find not only ignorance of UPL and the natgas/ E & P sector, but relatively little knowlege or focus on energy in general.
This phenomenon is also evidenced on Wall St, where the energy sector accounts for less than 10% of the market cap of the S & P 500.
When we are close to a top in energy and UPL, I would surmise that anecdotal evidence of the sector being overowned and overloved will be ubiquitous. How many investors have ever even heard of Hubbert's Peak? Before its all over, you will go to your local tavern and overhear Joe Six Pack not only discussing Peak Oil, but also the relative merits of 5 acre versus 10 acre spacing.
The current stage of the secular bull market is not unlike 1994 in technology, when the average investor thought csco was the food service company. And, before the top, everybody and his brother owned the stock.
Certainly, the lack of a vision on the part of our government to address the looming energy crisis keeps it from the forefront of many investor's consciousness. Moveover, the media is not covering the situation in a manner which is going to alarm anyone regarding how serious an energy crisis we might endure, and at what point a crisis will occur.
Given the dichotomy of opinions that exist regarding peak oil, it is dubious that the masses will come to realize the urgency of our current and future energy needs at any time soon. With Matt Simmons and CERA on opposite ends of the spectrum, many take both views with a grain of salt. Until there is some consensus among the masses, it is hard to imagine any sense of urgency for investors to overweight energy.
In addition, there are some who would opine that a doomsday scenario will occur when the major oil consuming nations on the planet initiate war over the last drop of oil. Obviously, this is so far fetched that it probably will never be on anyone's radar screen until it is too late. (as a side note, this reminds me of the famous quote by Albert Einstein when asked how WW III would be fought. He replied, "I don't know, but WWIV will be fought with sticks and stones)
However, given the potential for an energy Armageddon to occur, and the fact that we will indeed run out of fossil fuels in the future, the potential does exist for some type of parbolic spike to manifest itself. (although it must be asserted that if one pulls up a ten year chart of many energy stocks, they have already started to go parabolic)
Finally, my guess is that when a top is finally near and everyone is overweighted in energy, knowledge of mass psychology and market dynamics will be more important than a knowledge of UPL's fundamentals.
Until then, I am comfortable being overweight UPL until my accountant asks me about trading UPL LEAPS.

First of all I first would like to thank you for taking the time to put together a good DD summary. It is truly a very valuable read for new investors who need to catch up quick. For me that is the game. I stumbled across this stock in the middle of last week and jumped in with a small position at 11.10. I desperately want to add more shares. This has the making of the next TASR and I will not miss this one. Once again thanks for everything and hope to keep talking to you.
I have a question for you. What other chat boards do you know of where there is more conversation about this stock?
Better yet, lets chat here because we could all work togther.
Please correct me if I am wrong, I read all the summary and did some DD of my own but you have pretty much got it covered so far. SUF has a smaller unit that is built and has been tested? Then, my question is, if you know, what would be a barrier to building a larger commercial unit? In part of the DD summary someone mentions a rod that is in the middle of the machine that would have to be replaced about every 6 months or so. Can you elaborate on that for me and do you see any other barriers in this stage.
Also, what is the smallest amount of extra product percentage wise that would satisfy you when results are released or validated by another source other than Gunnermann? This is important to see if the process would be economically feasable for a company to use the product and invest in SulphCo machinery.
Thanks ahead of time.
