Agreed- moving another position into MLXO. Waiting for the fills. Patience will pervail here
Been reading your posts and confident of the outcome. Shares are hard to get in this range but looking to add.
Don't trust cornell- snake in the grass. Waiting still for the smoke to clear on MOBL. Good company with a future. So is MLXO who is suffering from a bump in the road.
Been in for a while now and its hard for me to think they would let this slip into the pinks. I"m betting they won't.
Have buys set at .03
Keep jumping out of the way (lol)
New here- been trying for a fill but having a time of it. This moves easy.
If time permits worth the read
http://www.sec.gov/news/testimony/ts142000.htm
If they would only put some teeth to the SHO list
Pink sheet- thats why- Company has stated they are working towards clearing finicials and moving to OTC. Phone no. included with company information and should be used to relieve your concerns. Titan has choosen to embark on oil exploration at this time and quite successful up to this point. Oil is revenue- more than I can say of some others in this market. This is a speculation play and my play is on the Petroleum Engineer .GL
Looks like you are digging up old info
http://www.pinksheets.com/quote/quote.jsp?symbol=tnog
Check out Osignals DD page- good infomation with whats available.GL
Sorry May-
TNOG gets listed under New & Expanding Business for March.
http://www.oilonline.com/news/headlines/business/
LOL- Had to go over to the ghetto and rein in a water rumor (lol) That's most likely true on the next rumor(lol)
PR- press release- Welcome, oil stocks are the future for awhile and TNOG is showing signs of great promise. My DD has found only positive and the bad being they are pink sheet, but all good companies had to start somewhere. I believe this to be a ground floor chance to get in on a growing concern. Good luck
Proof of a good hit. The DD is showing they have high potential for the upcoming wells also. I believe Pete Maupin has laid out a system of drilling these wells on these leases that will support each in producing max output. Groundfloor here- rare op IMO
Sure- like the way you do that- O The least I can do for the T/A lessons. Thanks
Thanks Max, I get involved when I'm long. Its rough here in the ghetto(lol)
Very very interesting info on the Edwards lime formation (note last paragraph)
Regional Geology
The Edwards Shelf Margin trend is parallel to the Gulf Coast from Florida to Mexico. The Edwards Formation is a lower Cretaceous limestone that is 400 to 650 feet thick. The Edwards Lime is roughly divisible into three rock types that were defined by different environments of deposition. The three environments and corresponding rock types are:
1. Back Reef type, tight, pure limestones and dolomites that were deposited in shallow water on a broad area north of the reef and shelf margin.
2. Reef and Shelf Margin type, reef and high-energy limestones with varying porosity and permeability. These rocks form a one to two mile wide band that extend from Webb and La Salle Counties, through Live Oak County, into Lavaca County. This is where most of the Edwards production occurs.
3. Fore-reef and Basin; shaley limestone and shale which occupy all of the area south of the reef edge. These rocks were deposited in deeper water south of the reef.
The Edwards reef and shelf margin have long been a target for oil and gas exploration. The first phase of activity occurred in the mid 60’s. A second period of activity was during the late 1970’s to mid 1980’s. Edwards’s reservoirs are characterized by a thick or tall gas column, low permeability, moderately low porosity, long reserve life, and gas which contains some carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide. Average reserves for a vertical Edwards well are about 2 BCF, but because of the nature of the limestone reservoir they vary dramatically from .5 BCF to over 15 BCF.
Recent work in the Edwards Formation has shown that fracturing and faulting are very important to porosity and permeability development in the reservoir. It now seems likely that many of the “good” Edwards wells intersect small faults and/or fracture swarms that in effect greatly increase the surface area of the wellbore and therefore “producibility” of the well. The recognition of the role of faulting and fracturing in Edwards’s production has led to the realization that horizontal drilling will substantially reduce the chances of drilling marginal wells in the Edwards. In fact horizontal drilling may increase average reserve recovery, increase initial production rate, and accelerate reserve recovery.
Looks like this week could test the patience of us longs. TNOG will be fine.
These were the days. Gotta luv this speculation(lol). Have they returned?

Oil brings money- and money solves all business problems. And on a final note sometimes its better to carry a large load forward on these penny prices than flipping small amounts as the PPS moves north.
Now with the DD available lets look at the big picture.
1- Titan's has leases for drilling 22 wells into the Austin Chalk. Well's 1 and 2 being drilled to remove old plugs but yet still recovered oil.
2-We know from studies these older fields are refilling-Ref post 257
3- Well 3 was drilled to remove plug but Titan brought in a larger drill to continue the well into the Edwards Lime formation which lies 800' below the Austin Chalk. This formation has never been tapped. Heavy pressure was encountered 300' above target zone. So now we are at 500' below the Austin Chalk formation were Titan is in the process of installing a christmas tree ( Ref post 422)
4- Previous wells in the Austin Chalk were high produers of oil and gas. Ref post 420 and recent estimates are at 300 bbls per day for one well ( ref post 383)
5- It has been a little over 2 weeks since the strike which I believe we should hear production numbers from all 3 wells within the week.Ref( post 398 testing). This should tell us also estimates to how large this new find is.
As the Austin Chalk is a proven reserve with more drillers targeting this area I believe Titan has went beyond the norm and took the chance on the Edwards Lime formation hitting what looks to be a hugh find. If this untapped find turns out to be even near the size of the Austin Chalk was in its day, even Arabs will be reading this PR. Oil spectulators will be knocking the door down and the $100 penny flippers will be gone. I believe this to be a hold thru the summer months due to continued drilling which will give a good flow of success and pr's to boot. By the way the Austin Chalk over time has produced over a 100 million bbls of oil and I've lost track of Natural gas.
We have a winner here folks- sorry about my explanations-the older I get the harder it is to put in words. Good luck This is IMO
Notice the reference to pressure as to what has occurred on well 3

Extraction
Generally the first stage in the extraction of crude oil is to drill a well into the underground reservoir. Historically, in the USA some oil fields existed where the oil rose naturally to the surface, but most of these fields have long since been depleted. Often many wells will be drilled into the same reservoir, to ensure that the extraction rate will be economically viable. Also some wells may be used to pump water, steam or various gas mixtures into the reservoir to raise or maintain the reservoir pressure, and so maintain an economic extraction rate.
If the underground pressure in the oil reservoir is sufficient then the oil will be forced to the surface under this pressure. Gaseous fuels or natural gas are usually present, which also supplies needed underground pressure. In this situation it is sufficient to place a complex arrangement of valves on the well head to connect the well to a pipeline network for storage and processing.
Over the lifetime of the well the pressure will fall, and at some point there will be insufficient underground pressure to force the oil to the surface and the remaining oil in the well must be pumped out. see: Energy balance and Net energy gain.
Various techniques aid in recovering oil from depleted or low pressure reservoirs, including Beam Pumps, Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESPs), and Gas Lift. Other techniques include Water Injection and Gas Re-injection, which help to maintain reservoir pressure.

Bad day, but TNOG will be just fine. Just a bump in the road
Seems a lot of oil co.'s are going private. PIOL I've held since last Oct is buying up co's share's and going private. Nice jump in it.
Privately held.
Neal- found this articule that's about Wolverine.
http://www.rigzone.com/news/article.asp?a_id=22331
LOL got a sense of humor there Stockrocker. Titan looking real good for a long term hold. This market sucks in the summer but I see TNOG coming up with a regular dose of excitement as long as the drill-bit is turning.
Here are some of the problems with oil sands

The time frame for testing this co. has after completing a well
Thursday, November 18, 2004
Maverick Oil and Gas, Inc. has reached total drill depth of 6,245' on Travis 641-H, the second well in its Maverick Basin project in Texas, and is awaiting completion after the rig moves off location. Maverick anticipates that testing will be completed in two weeks, after which facilities and pipelines will be constructed. First sales are anticipated early next year. A third well is expected to be started sometime in January. The Maverick Basin project is Maverick's joint venture with Blue Star, the independent owned by Jerry Jones, and Touchstone Resources USA Inc. Maverick has a net 37.5% interest in the project
Fear seems to be the flavor of the day, MM's feeding on it.Patience Tnog will be just fine - many strong hands on this one
Here in Alaska they are bidding leases on the National Petroleum Reserve and they are hot and heavy. High dollar but some areas TNOG is in only need to be worked out with individual land owners. The area in Utah seems to be state lands in question. Looking into it more -new area for me.
Boy the MM's jumped thru hoops to scoop up shares when someone wasn't looking today. LOL Stop losses are for the big boards.
I think in short term you'll be pleased. The company is following a solid business plan and will be exciting to see it unfold. Good luck
Reference my last post- this co. is drilling the austin chaulk and their engineering is saying 300 bbls per day estimate. Would I be wrong to think this is possible that TNOG could come close to these estimates?
http://www.oilonline.com/news/headlines/mergers/20050411.Austin_C.17638.asp
Not promoting this outfit but trying to compare expectations
Seen your estimates from raging bull but remembering we had mentioned a co. who was planning a drill into the same formation and there estimates were 300 bls per day. Do you recall this?
So meanwhile while we wait the drilling crew is working on the next well- the management is working on more leases to drill- and our petro engineer is accessing data from well #1-2-3 and also looking at future drilling prospects. Its all good
Of course that changes if the freaking shorts ever decide to cover. SHO is like a hugh weight on us now but will be lifted with good production numbers and more long term investors seeing the potential here. If you look at Osignal's T/A it'll show this is already occurring.
In order to produce accurate flow reports the well must run for a period of time. The find is verified- The engineer will file the report when he is sure of the nos. Patience will be key here. The drilling crew will keep drilling and the SP will reflect the success. TNOG has a bright future.
