Garment and textile exports increase 10.5% in seven months

NDO – The export revenue of Vietnam’s garment and textile industry was estimated at US$18.34 billion in the first seven months of 2019, a year-on-year increase of 10.5%, according to a report from the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT).

The export revenue hike was due to opportunities and market expansion as the result of the signing of free trade agreements (FTA) such as the CPTPP, with a tax exemption roadmap to 0% and other incentives.

In addition, the signing of the EU-Vietnam FTA in June 2019 is also expected to help the Vietnamese garment and textile sector to penetrate wider into the EU market.

In the January-July period, the production of fabric from natural fibers went up by 8.4% while fabric from synthetic fibers rose by 11.5%. The production of casual clothes also increased by 8.8% compared to the same period last year.

The export revenue of footwear of all types also surged by 13.8% year-on-year to reach US$10.4 billion in the first seven months of 2019.

The MoIT said that the despite increasingly large export revenue, Vietnam’s apparel and footwear sectors maintain dependence on foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprisesand mainly do outwork with a large proportion of materials being imported.

The ministry also suggested that enterprises in these areas should establish production chains and meet the rules of origin of FTAs to take advantage of incentives and compete with other rivals.

Two days ago news out of VN predicted they could be facing the worst droughts in their history,.. but in the meantime flooding
from typhoon rains could wash VN away.

If kbl had been making money while trying to conserve money maybe

At the time of CC they had 17 strains,so they say, if their not going to ever use them then sell or lease them if you can.

I bought some kbl's in 2009 and later sold them still in 2009 later after the Notre Dame announcement in 2010 I started buying shares over the years and have never sold so it sounds like according to your post that i may qualify for that tax relief? Was calm seas their only source of finance until they got dropped?

E*TRADE just emailed them, filled them out and hit complete. I’m surprised they didn’t email you the forms to fill out.

I already said I tendered my proxy days ago. I did it via the internet.

I don't have an account with E TRADE. Maybe i should.

I was transplanted from scottrade to TD in their buy out.

If you didn't recieve it at least 7-10 days prior to the meeting even with over night mail good luck.

Scottrade always mailed a proxy vote in enough time to either mail it back or send it in via the internet.

I went thru TD Ameritrade where a broker connected me to to the office that handles those things. A very nice person asked me some questions to verity that it was who i said I was. he gave me a control number,instructions,and what to expect.

It was easy peasy

There was one more important thing you have to do, but I just can't think of it right now. Oh well hope this might help you or others.

May be those Oompa Loompas were too busy elsewhere loading the truck up whith cheap shares of KBLB.

What happened with the Prodigy photo shoot seems to have inadvertently caused unintended consequences.

If the inside is as bad,same,slightly worse or better then the outside then you've just opened a whole can of worms.

The SH's should be entitled to know because it will determine a host
of things like what stage kblb is at regarding production,quality,
consistence, cost., and SH's need this information before the SH meeting and not after the proxy vote. IMO that could later influence
RS and up listing.

If the inside is say better then the outside you would think kim
would immediately correct any misperceptions that SH's may have had due to the outside photos...If he chooses not to respond SH will see this as an admission.

IMO kim seems to have this special ability where he won't give any
hard informational facts, but will drop just a few telltale hints and the kblb SH's will pick up on it scrutinize, analyze and build
it out until its way out of proportion so what they think will take 3rd or 4th Qrt turns out to be years.

Sorry if I may have stepped on any post that may have sounded similar. I just ran out of gas trying to play catch up on hundreds
of posts.

10 years I don't know of many who would say he was a great communicator.

How many times did you rightfully call out kim for not having a CC.?

He should of kept us much more informed with pr's and at least a CC
before going straight to a short notice SH meeting.

That's just the way he thinks. He obviously got enough blow back
that it came to his attention to get off that letter. IMO

Today was painful and had to be one for the books.

When I saw Kimberly AKA as the idiot announce a SH meeting I knew right then what does he want this time.

What he wants imo is total liberation from all constrains, liabilities and accountable to none.

Now, those who think up listing is such a good thing you may want to
think about it again. If you think day traders will bug out, wait until you up list you'll find traders who have bu ku bucks,they'll
take one look at kbl and see the supposed CEO the great communicator
has accomplished in the last ten years and LOL. They'll check the
product,the quality, consistency,financing,production, sales,etc.

If they find some of these things to be deficient, they'll lick their beaks like a vulture or a shark on chum and be allover kbl.

Now i have a question, Why do many SH's think kim will support them.

I saw that last SH meeting as a way for kim to solidify his total
grip on kblb and eliminate any loose ends.

When i was with Scottrade I would receive proxies on other stocks
well in advance of the SH meeting, but when it came to KBLB's last SH meeting I never received a proxsy.

The only way i heard about what transpired was after the meeting when I heard about what happened on IHUB

I think kim deliberately schedules these short notice meetings to limit the turnout because he's not comfortable with a large crowd., and less chance of too many hard questions.

Will see what happens this time.

If so maybe one should get in touch with them
first to see if they can give you guidance and you let them know why your interested in Prodigy. They may even give you a tour of the place and allow you to take as many pictures as you please.

Sounds better than trying to find the place and slinking around with a camera that could get you trouble.
