What you call spam, I call fact. You took offense at my factual post that MSLP product ingredients and materials are all sourced in China and India.
This is a fact and can be confirmed by Capstone for example.
If you want to not read that information because it may affect your investment, that is your right. I have the right though to post that fact as it may be pertinent to others.
GNC was recently forced to remove all their herbal supplements due to fake ingredients.
http://www.cbsnews.com/news/herbal-supplements-targeted-by-new-york-attorney-general/
MSLP does source all its ingredients and materials from China and a few from India.
Most pet owners won't even feed Chinese and Indian ingredients to their pets but MSLP Sports Science Institute makes no mention of the source of ingredients. I wonder why? Rhetorical as I know the answer.
The real upside to today's press release is:
who is laughing when you were saying $20 any day when the shares were $14 and bellator took his short position a few days after the Walmart Sam's press release?
Now its $3-$4.
Good thing for you he is too classy to rub it in.
CoCrystal is a jackpot?
DROP is bankrupt and just a shell corp now not affiliated with Fuse Science. DRNE is trading at 10% of his investment. BZNE lost 90% of its market cap. I could go on and on but point made. His losers that hit the common shareholder yet metamorphosize into a new shell corp for his next project.
Barry Hoing and Phil Frost were the two largest investors in Fuse Science and would take about 10 seconds of due diligence but sophisticated investors knew this already.
Anyone else see todays press release as Pyatt's desperate attempt to build in another excuse (buffer) before the results are revealed for Q1?
There continues to be a large seller at the bid daily that is liquidating substantial shares. Is it Frost or Wynnefield "surreptitiously" shorting?
Phil Frost
How did his investment in BZNE end up for BZNE investors? His investment can morph into many forms that are not possible by common shareholders.
How did Frost's investment in DROP turn out for the common?
If one is down to supporting ones position by citing Phil Frost must know what he is doing is not a sophisticated investor.
What does a constantly revolving door to the CFO office imply? Revs are shrinking an alarming rate since the SEC jumped in with both feet.
It's like being appointed chief of policia in Mexico. Temporary is an understatement.
Funny that Pyatt and Deluca are so entrenched and out of reach of the revolving door. LOL
Who believes "former" officers are the ones who will be sacrificed by the SEC?
Doubt the SEC investigation is close to wrapping up. This new "policy" is just like the rest of the meaningless policy changes the past 18 months like reimbursement of corporate funds used for personal expenses, non reporting of millions of stock grants on a W2 by the company and non reporting by the officers on their personal taxes, etc.....
I agree with others here who say the SEC will just let the fraud play itself out under the light of SEC reporting and the company will implode like it is doing. The SEC doesn't have to do anything right now, but still reserves the right to in the future. I think this is how it will play out. The investigation all but eliminates any acquisition so MSLP is stuck performing as it has reported in the past. What happened to that growth since the SEC got all the way in? 40% declines and falling.
Wrong on both accounts,
Sydney Rollock was responsible for the dedicated walls in GNC. A good thing?
Sydney Rollock was responsible for record foreign market sales and expansion. A good thing?
Sydney resigned because he felt potential personal liability from the CEOs fraudulent channel stuffing with bb.com after the CEO demoted Deluca and insisted reporting directly to Rollock to create a buffer after being investigated by the SEC channel stuffing and the new Sam's Walmart channel insisted by the CEO that would cause blowback from existing channels with the 50% discounts.
You claimed at the time that these different sales channels were compatible and now you claim they are not? At least keep your story straight. My last response.
MSLP is a disaster
Q4 numbers of $32m in revenue not only included all the previously existing sales channels but also included a FULL QUARTER of nationwide rollout with Sam's and Walmart initial stocking and any sell thru during the quarter. If you take out the BZNE revenue, MSLP now has revenues of $29m a quarter and trending down.
Revenues in Q4 continued the free fall that has now seen a 40% decline since Q1 2014 and YOY declines compared to Q4 2013.
Bellator exec was 100% correct that with the SEC looking at channel stuffing, you could expect a huge decline in reported revenue now. Not even the most realistic bulls expected $29m though.
Anyone have any Fast Eddy's sell thru numbers?
$50m to the bottom line yet?
SMH. bellator had this nailed both up and down.
Codie, welcome to Fantasyland. MSLP is not paying slotting fees. Distribution via shipping FedEx is inefficient. Mom & Pop are nearing extinction.
Everything bellator exec said about channel stuffing has played out exactly as he predicted. It's garbage time.
MSLP will be sub $1 very soon.
A couple gas stations in Boise and a couple in Livonia, MI that probably received free product with no stocking support is not a valid beverage strategy, but when you have no distribution other than FedEx bulk product to a retailer for facebook photo op the amateur aspect of product launch is highlighted.
A late night online college marketing degree graduate could tell you this is a joke. TEH should be able to detail a proper marketing plan for a new product launch and it doesn't look like the current one. LOL
TEH,
Explain why every time MSLP adds a new big box sales channel, revenues decline?
Revenue has declined 40% from Q1 to Q4 even though GNC added a MP wall and Sam's and Walmart came aboard.
Bodybuilding.com has been taken over by Jym with MP products gravitating to the bottom of the sales list or off all together.
Brand or product loyalty is not supported by the reported facts.
codie, We all know Energy Sport will be huge in Michigan as many of the citizens have had their water turned off for non-payment and will be forced to hydrate at $3 a can for Energy Sport. This whole episode is looking like a scene from Idiocracy.
The big release is coming today!
I heard Jen Selter received an all expenses paid vacation to Livonia, MI to take advantage of all the spas and cosmetic surgery clinics.
All that was required was she show up for a photo op bending over like she is picking up a Energy Sport with Tarik Ali stacking as many cans as he can in the middle of the floor with no rhyme nor reason nor pricing visible.
Now the stock can move! Staging fake promotional Facebook photos can save MSLP where the SEC filings failed.
Citing MPSSI to judge MSLP products is like citing Exxon judging a soberest oil tanker captain contest.
It is like a mom judging a cutest kid contest with her own child in the field.
For another dollar you can enter to win Powerball too. About the same odds but you know this being an accounting and financial expert.
I highly doubt there is a COMPLETE agreement in principle between the SEC and MSLP that covers the entire investigation.
Did Brad agree in principle on a micro fragment regarding former officers? Perhaps.
The time frame of those transactions took place when MSLP was 1m shares fully diluted so maybe you are talking a few thousand shares total.
But I highly doubt the SEC investigation is remotely close to closure and resolution.
If there is an agreement in principle that covers a mere drop in the investigation bucket then the reaction by the market is completely understandable.
Look at the color code (red) of the trades today on the IHUB chart. All these transactions are at the bid reflecting selling pressure or churn.
The misleading press releases by MSLP are toeing the line of fraudulent, but don't change the outcome in the least.
pancho, I guess the buyers and volume will really accelerate as the PPS continues down to sub $1 levels.
Yes for every seller there is a buyer in an active market but what happens as the equity becomes inactive as the PPS is knocking on the cemetery gate?
How do you show a profit even if you continue to average down and the PPS is $0 and is no longer trading?
99.9% of the insider shares are held by CURRENT execs and officers? Where is this hidden treasure of shares that will recompensed from former officers? Is this going to resemble The Count of Monte Cristo?
TEH, so "pretty much" 1,000 returned shares from former executives to the treasury is the catalyst to $11 PPS in your vision?
I have a different vision.
baj, agreed. This company is taking on a Rube Goldberg mission. How many more products and moving parts/complexity can we expect that always accomplish the exact same result on the bottom line?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rube_Goldberg_machine
where can I 'pretty much' find that information for confirmation on any SEC website?
What entity is has found 'former' officers are the only transgressors in this cheap drama while the good guys continue to build a brand?
Sound like 'pretty much' more skepticism is in order.
How long has the CEO been saying the SEC Investigation was complete would be settled in a couple weeks and would have no material impact?
I know he was saying this at conference calls for at least the last 18 months.
Desperation doesn't make a statement true. Larry David calls this type of CEO behavior double transgression theory. CEO is already in trouble so piling on more transgressions carries little risk.
MSLP has no credibility so any rational individual would be better served to exercise extreme skepticism.
not when you backed out the MP consignment style revenue recognition statement when he compared inventory AR AP and new borrowings. That was his point. he specifically screen shot the statement in the MP 10q that said "actual results could differ from the recorded amounts due to this irregular accounting." MP did this the same type of irregular accounting in quarter 3 when they recognized several million in revenue on intangible assets from biozone on the income statement when that is not income. MP is scrambling a shell game according to his article and mgmt is telling investors to watch the revenue ball under the shell and don't pay attention to anything else.
no, just the facts no matter what side of the trade you are on. if your credibility is not important keep posting blatant lies because it makes no difference to actual trades and only clogs the board with immature attempts for attention. I have an ignore option and will use it on you. I don't understand your motivation to agitate for its own sake other than immaturity. I use my real name on this board and have seen you accuse too many posters here who disagree with you of being bellator. More immaturity.
basebalplayr33 the author explained why he was buying on March 17. He stated that he was buying based on the cash flow statement but then performed additional due diligence and discovered that cash flow was heavily influenced by $8m in borrowings and $4m more in yet to be released 1st quarter numbers. This revised his opinion of his investment and he sold and notifying others of why he did so. Straight forward and honest explanation no matter what side of this trade you are on.
Odessa99
They are not mutually exclusive. $8m draw down on the line of credit is credited as positive cash flow. This type of positve cash flow by drawing down similar new borrowings every quarter is not sustainable without earnings or other forms of capital raising to service debt. Cash flow does not consider the source of the cash received.
When the author further researched the quality of cash flow he changed his positive opinion to heavily negative. That is why continuing due diligence is important.
So PJ the post clearly shows you did say this:
PJ You say it right here. Why deny? You claim to be an expert in finance and accounting but after yesterdays exchange and all your revisions and "I mean to say" when I questioned the errors in your posts you might want to study a little more and post a little less.
Walmart doesn't carry MP product despite rumors to the contrary from drive929. Sam's Club eliminated MP products in the 4th quarter of 2014. Didn't you listen to the 4th quarter conference call Q & A?
All Walmart orders for MP products are fulfilled by megaretailstore.com who is a marketplace reseller that links to big box retail search results.

http://www.megaretailstore.com/
JimmyJams I would like to know the current Walmart Sams Costco situation too. It's telling that the executives refused to take questions on the conference call and are playing the vague press release games citing select retailers. I suspect they are trying to crack a very difficult egg and have no answers acceptable to investors. Walmart is currently ratcheting up the pressure on suppliers to cut prices according to the WSJ to cover those employee raises to $9 an hour.

PJ
I said I didn't understand what you were trying to say.
Here is your post that confuses me. I simply asked for clarification.
Here is what you said
drive929,
I can't compare financials from 1st quarter to 4th quarter then you should tell the most popular finance website in the world. Here is Yahoo Finance doing just what you say can't be done. Yahoo Finance does not offer the format you say should be done only comparing like quarters year over year. Maybe you should launch a website that shows your exclusive comps the way you want them? I'd tale a look.
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/is?s=MSLP
4th quarter 2014 revenues declined when compared to 4th quarter 2013 revenues too but I choose to monitor financials in a more detailed fashion that prioritizes recency. I find the correlation to share price is more accurate.
I haven't looked at a system of stock analysis based on trading on 12 month old data like you recommend.
Okay PJ. I took the time to read your posts and politely engage you in a discussion as you cited yourself an expert of finance and accounting.
The math and the SEC filings show all your statements to be incorrect. I politely asked to see your math and fact sources to try and understand your position but in vain.
MP is not funding the company with operating cash flow. They are funding those significant cash losses with borrowings with no repayment potential from operations and with delayed payment on the payables while drawing down inventory.
2014 quarterly performance review. Revenues declined 40%. SGA expenses increased 60%. Debt is increasing in $millions. Keep your cash flow statement close to your heart.
PJ How did Biozone surpass their entire 2014 revenue in just one quarter? Your statement doesn't make sense to me. The filings show that Biozone reported about $2m to $3m in sales in all 4 quarters of 2014. What quarter did they surpass their entire 2014 revenue.
???? are trying to say
