But I slowed down, researched and found something I believe will at least make up for the losses. Hold tight this will get very exciting over the course of the next year!!! KAYS!!!!
Fine by me because the long term looks bright

Craig Frank is the mastermind behind this explosive company. He is the visionary that has turned this company around from biofuels to the expansive company it is today. Good things coming for those that can see potential in KAYS!
Business Description
Kaya Holdings, Inc. (KAYS) through its majority-owned subsidiary, Marijuana Holdings Americas, Inc. creates and establishes its own brands that produce, distribute and/or sell premium cannabis products, including flower, concentrates, and cannabis-infused baked goods and candies.
Current operations in Portland, Oregon include the Kaya Shack, the first legal marijuana dispensary (MMD) operated by a U.S. publicly traded company, as well as the Kaya Farms Grow for the cultivation and harvesting of legal marijuana. By forming the Kaya Farms Medical Marijuana Grow to feed the Kaya Shack supply chain, KAYS became the first US publicly traded company to own a majority interest in a vertically integrated legal marijuana enterprise in the United States.
While the Company intends to both maintain and increase operations within the medical marijuana market in Oregon through potential acquisition of existing MMDS and the formation of new medical grow operations pursuant to existing Oregon State Licensing Regulations, Management believes that the larger opportunity will be with the new recreational market that will be unfolding in Oregon that involves vertical integration utilizing Producer, Processor, Wholesaler and Retailer licenses.
Unlike the medical marijuana program, there are no restrictions or limitations with the Recreational Market regarding patient qualifications, and a much larger market will open up for retail demand which the Company intends to aggressively exploit by leveraging their Oregon MMD experience and public company status.
The Company intends to seek additional licensing opportunities in various states and territories throughout the country which have legalized recreational and/or medical marijuana use, as well as select states and territories where legalization is pending or is otherwise under consideration through joint efforts with the Drug Policy Alliance and the Drug Policy Alliance's lobbying affiliate, Drug Action and other activists and lobbyists.
Potential future target markets include Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Vermont, Washington D.C., Washington State and others.
So was I, I just never got out. Wishful thinking kept me in this place and it has paid off. I was just trying to answer others questions about the ownership between AFAI, MJAI, an KAYS
Check the fillings they changed the name earlier this year from AFAI to KAYS
Afai is KAYS
No biggie everyone just wants to make sure they are making a smart investment, at least your doing some digging.
Just go back about 1-2 years through the fillings and you will see that MJAI is the marijuana subsidiary to the KAYS. Same company
Florida!!!!!!

Let's go back home KAYS!!!
Agreed, that with the additional stores and grow operation makes this a must buy at these levels!
Well remember it costs money to buy out Harley grow farms plus start work on Kaya shack 2. But if you look at products sold and product cost it is a vast improvement dice they started selling their own supply. Give it time and this stock will grow. Patience is the game here.
Like it was previously stated some TA's have a company policy to not release that information, it's not necessarily the company trying to keep info from the investors.
How often should a company update their SS to satisfy investors, such as yourself, needs.
Correct
That's why investors should be excited about recreational sales starting October 1st (pending). I mean come on, there are a lot of scams out there that just make stuff up. This company is providing real product. I do hope some big investors come in to help this company get to the top of the dispensary food chain. This is only the beginning to what this company can achieve.
Not only that but is is tax free from October through december
True but Oregon is only imposing A 17% tax with counties maxing it out at 20%. Far less than what Washington is taxing.
It will be worth it in the long run. The tax numbers are in from one year of legal weed in Washington and its nice!!!!
One Year Of Legal Marijuana Generated $70 Million In Tax Revenue For Washington State

Key word is "Candidate". We all know when they get elected all those promises go out the window. Weed is here to stay. States pretty much do what they want and with the tax revenue Colorado made, no state will undo legalization.
Yup those guys
From the articles I have read they want this to pass to avoid the black market taking over. Initially they were hoping to start July 1st but the alcohol, tobacco people ( dont remember the acronym) didn't want to start selling rec until this time next year. The whole Oct 1st thing is a compromise and should easily pass the last obstacle.
Love it!!!!

Portland, Oregon. The Oregon Senate approved legislation June 30, 2015 that would allow adults to buy some products at medical marijuana dispensaries starting Oct. 1 while the Oregon Liquor Control Commission is still working on its own network of retailers. This measure, which now moves to the House, was designed to give consumers a legal way to purchase the drug not long after possession becomes legal on Wednesday.
The lack of major opposition to any of the bills demonstrated the consensus that legislators have been able to build around marijuana in the wake of the Measure 91 legalization measure approved by voters in November.
Oregonians gather less than 2 miles away from the first Kaya Shack Dispensary to celebrate
the first day of legal weed in oregon.
Senate Minority Leader Ted Ferrioli, R-John Day, championed a quick start to marijuana sales, saying he didn't want newly legal consumers to have to continue to turn to the black market.
"Sometimes it is difficult for the bureaucracy to keep up with democracy," Ferrioli told his colleagues.
Under Senate Bill 460, sales would begin on Oct. 1. Adults would be able to go into dispensaries -- which are currently limited only to medical marijuana cardholders -- and buy up to one-quarter ounce of dried marijuana a day, as well as seeds and plant starts.
The measure, which goes to the House, was approved on a 23-6 vote. Sen. Rod Monroe, D-Portland, said he did not like the provision allowing recreational consumers to purchase marijuana tax-free from Oct. 1 until Jan. 4.
Legislators said they did not want to advance the Jan. 4 start of taxation contained in Measure 91 and also said it would take time for the Department of Revenue to develop a system for collecting sales taxes.

From the Desk of Craig Frank, CEO, Kaya Holdings (OTCQB:KAYS)
Dear Shareholder
We are pleased to report that events are unfolding rapidly as we enter the first day of legal recreational marijuana in Oregon.
As discussed, the Bill that allows for early recreational sales through medical marijuana dispensaries has passed the Senate, and is on its way to the House for its final vote. A key aspect of the law is that no taxation will be charged on any recreational sales from October 1 through December 31 of 2015, and that the exemption allowing for sales through dispensaries will be effective through December of 2016 when the recreational licenses will be issued.
As our many sources and outside mainstream media outlets report there is little opposition to the measure and it is expected to become law soon; we expect that this will be a boon for our business and KAYS shareholder value.
We will be providing updates soon regarding our existing dispensary and grow in Portland, the recently announced acquisition of assets of the O C Harley Grow (Licenses, patientcards and plants), our recently approved 2nd dispensary location and many other projects.
Again we thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Craig Frank

Glad to see that you have come to your senses and realized your mistake. Welcome to team KAYS!!!
Yea I was looking at a map of all the dispensaries around Portland and there are quite a few established locations. Hopefully the new one is in a location that separates itself from some of the "hometown" locations and can set itself apart.
Ok... Well this company grows and sells their own product..... And recently expanded their grow operation sooooooo..... Your point again????? Didn't you say someone was lying or something and then you come back with this????
There are tons of public companies, but only one that owns and operates a working, functional, and real MMJ dispensary.
Nobody remembers the split this was a bio fuels company then. Keep digging all your going to find is gold. And why with only 250m authorizes would they do a R/S??? That seems a bit crazy. I could see this scare tactic if their A/S was 2-10 B but it's not even close.
Well when October 1st rolls around and the floodgates open with all the recreational sales I just don't see any more "keys" for this company to succeed. The have done a great job avoiding toxic debt and building a company with a solid foundation and growth potential. All I see is $$$$$$
Recreational is the key... I thought you said expansion was the key...... Oh wait they are already doing that. So what's going to be the key WHEN this passes and they are allowed to sell Oct 1st????
Nice volume let's keep it up!!!!!
Nice!! Got the license now let's roll KAYS!!!
It's happening oct 1st every article I have read and all the news coming out of Oregon says they want it to happen early. The main reason is to avoid the black market effect. So a little bit of greed from the states governors wanting to get their hands on this tax money is going to be a benefit to all dispensary owners in the state of Oregon especially the only publicly traded one, wink wink!
How about these articles that say IT IS HAPPENING OCTOBER 1st. REC SALES BABY its BOOOOOOOMMMMM TIME!!!!!! Yes i will sound positive in saying that the second Kaya Shack will be up and running by then (fingers crossed, No offense Craig). They got the supplies and the locations now lets reel in them customers!!!!!!
