Wow! Looks like the biggest retailer in the world is becoming best friends with PLUG.
Looks like someone shorted.
Good to know! Air Liquide is one of many facets to bring PLUG to major profitability this year.
Anyone want to guess hypothetically.
If GE wanted to purchase PLUG; how much you think they would offer pps?
If tommorrow isnt good we may go as low as 4.50 in the next couple weeks. If we get new good info, we could double. It's a toss up to what PLUG mgmt has under their sleeves to share.
Running high with no hype surrounding the meeting tommorrow. Maybe something big tommorrow?
Post-shareholders meeting and Hyundai finalized agreement; c'mon 15!
Ticker stopped trolling in shame, hiding away in a cave until he sees a glimmer of red? Lol
This upcpming meeting doesnt have nearly as much hype as the pervious ones. People are a lot more cautious this time around. Which is great, because it will mean a smaller drop if the meeting is nothing new, but a bigger gap on any new great news.
Lets all not be suprised if a 52 week high of 15 is hit before eoy.
Looks like shorts are beginning to really cover. Due to the fact that some analyst are placing a 8pt, and even skeptical analyst are putting pts near 5. Not much opp for a short.
I dont blame him. The last few pr events did not meet expectations at all. However! There is almost no hype for this coming meeting, compared to befores hype.
If any good news is released, that hasnt been heard before, we will likely fly very very high.
No interest holding around July 23rd for the shareholder meeting?
If the news im expecting happens.
Next stop 6, then 10 within 1-2 months.
Positive report by Motley Fool today They were posting multiple negative articles per week, now a turn around to the positive? PLUG will see 20 within a year, everyone that says no, just wants more shares and/or a chance to play in the volatility on the way to 20.
Fracking has greatly increased natural gas reserves. Big oil will make a lot going back to old and current fields. As we know, natural gas is one source in the step for fuel cells.
Strong close tommorrow. A credible firm placing a 8$ price target.
Looks like mms are playing us up. Lets hope it stays this direction :)
Anything below 10 is a bargain if they show a hint of profit.
Anyone see cynk? Why didnt cnbc call that a 'bubble'. Yet, have the nerve to call PLUG one.
True, PLUG tech is very different than that which a consumer vehicle would require. Which isnt a negative, because vice versa, PLUG has the best tech for the market it is in.
PLUG FCEL and BLDP seem to no longer have much of a tandem.
Prob not. Could be in the next six months or next 8 years, till bmw and plug announce new multimillion dollar orders. But at least it points to a bright future for PLUG.
Bmw is their old time client. Their current facility uses forklifts by PLUG. So their new plants will likely use the forklifts as well. However, the plant in Mexico opens up in 2019. So announcment of the new order would take a while.
BMW to invest 1bln$ in the USA and Mexico. You can be pretty confident PLUG will get a small piece of the investment.
When they had citron come on live television to bash PLUG, they said CEO Andy Marsh declined the invitation to come on live at the same time. Marsh was in a quiet period and it would of been illgal for him to speak publicly!! That is just one of MANY things cnbc handled carelessly Cnbc and 'friends' pulled a massive con.
I believe it was in their last cc. 'Struggling' is perhaps not the best word to use. The comment they made was along the lines of, 'we just shipped a order to Wal Mart and are working on our backlog'. They are meeting schedules, but have a lot of work to do! :)
Their customer base is great. They have the major companies that will allow their fc tech to be profitable. The tech wont work at profitability with your typical warehouse, at least not yet - hence the big name large warehouses. From what I know they are struggling to keep up production (mostly thanks to WalMart). So, all PLUG should rely on is expansion and reorders for their current customer base.
Now, they are expanding into China for those big China companies.
I believe a FedEx executive said they loved the material handling tech PLUG has set up for them - how this will play out, who knows? So ya testing is pretty much kaput.
Isnt it pretty much no longer in testing and is now in full operation?
What do you think this means?
Stick is a troll but I dont think what he said is a big deal.
Your critique fits perfectly with citrons comments and the reiteration by cnbc that PLUG is a bubble - that whole scam by cnbc and citron was criminal.
So are you saying it will go pretty far past 5.50 when it hits that pps, but it may be a while till 5.50 is hit?
Went up 40% once just on a rumor.
It was already added. It wont so anything except put PLUG on some credible radars. The spikes will probably be bigger on news and it may add more stability from those spikes. Overall, it does help in the long run - but nothing really noticeable.
PLUG is teamed with Toyota and Honda for building fueling stations, arent they?
PLUG is going pretty strong this past couple weeks. Most news has been negative and the positive news has been relatively minor. Once we get some real news (new deals, etc), the strength of PLUG will really show some muscle.
Fc tech ftw
Although it will only be sold in California, Toyota decided to finally unveil the production version of its fuel-cell vehicle in Aspen, Colo., this week. As promised, it looks just like the concept version of the car, only a different color, and with big taillights that meet federal requirements.
Toyota says the fuel-cell car will have a range of 300 miles on a five-minute fill-up and go 100 miles per hour. We got a chance to drive a fairly early prototype and found it pretty seamless, if not that engaging.
The five-passenger sedan is expected to go on sale in California late this year, once the state has time to build out more of the 60 hydrogen fueling stations it has under way. Pricing has not been announced, but it is selling in Japan for $69,000. Hyundai’s Tuscon Fuel Cell Vehicle went on sale in the state this month, and Honda has also promised to release its next fuel-cell vehicle in the state this summer.
With the Russell listing out tmmrrw and todays SA article. I wholly agree. My 2015 call option went crazy today, up 80% one point but closed only up 8% haha.
