Tips and complaints about the short seller crap announced to hurt PLUG with slander and deceit...
https://denebleo.sec.gov/TCRExternal/disclaimer.xhtml
Drop @ open just means more shorting, up we go! Squeeze!
Watch the shorts cover at close LOL! Buh Bye!
http://www.investopedia.com/terms/s/shortsqueeze.asp
Definition of 'Short Squeeze'
A situation in which a heavily shorted stock or commodity moves sharply higher, forcing more short sellers to close out their short positions and adding to the upward pressure on the stock. A short squeeze implies that short sellers are being squeezed out of their short positions, usually at a loss. A short squeeze is generally triggered by a positive development that suggests the stock may be embarking on a turnaround. Although the turnaround in the stock’s fortunes may only prove to be temporary, few short sellers can afford to risk runaway losses on their short positions and may prefer to close them out even if it means taking a substantial loss.
Investopedia Says
Investopedia explains 'Short Squeeze'
If a stock starts to rise rapidly, the trend may continue to escalate because the short sellers will likely want out. For example, if a stock rises 15% in one day, those with short positions may be forced to liquidate and cover their position by purchasing the stock. If enough short sellers buy back the stock, the price is pushed even higher.
Two measures useful in identifying stocks at risk of a short squeeze are (a) short interest and (b) short-interest ratio. Short interest refers to the total number of shares sold short as a percentage of total shares outstanding, while short-interest ratio (SIR) is the total number of shares sold short divided by the stock’s average daily trading volume.
As an example, consider a hypothetical biotech company, Medico, that has a drug candidate in advanced clinical trials as a treatment for skin cancer. There is considerable skepticism among investors about whether this drug candidate will actually work, and as a result, 5 million Medico shares have been sold short of its 25 million shares outstanding. Short interest on Medico is therefore 20%, and with daily trading volume averaging 1 million shares, the SIR is 5. The SIR means that it would take 5 days for short sellers to buy back all Medico shares that have been sold short.
Assume that because of the huge short interest, Medico had declined from $15 a few months ago to $5 shortly before release of the clinical trial results. When the results are announced, they indicate that Medico’s drug candidate works better than expected as a treatment for skin cancer. Medico’s shares will “gap up” on the news, perhaps to $8 or higher, as speculators buy the stock and short sellers scramble to cover their short positions. A short squeeze in Medico is now on, and can drive it much higher due to massive buying pressure.
Contrarian investors look for stocks with heavy short interest specifically because of a short-squeeze risk. These investors may accumulate long positions in a heavily shorted stock if they believe its chances of success are significantly higher than believed by those who are bearish on it. The risk-reward payoff for a heavily shorted stock trading in the low single digits is quite favorable for contrarian investors with long positions. Their risk is limited to the price paid for it, while the profit potential is unlimited. This is diametrically opposite to the risk-reward profile of the short seller, who bears the risk of theoretically unlimited losses if the stock spikes higher on a short squeeze.

USA Today news Out: Plug Power stock rises
USA Today News!
Fuel cell provider Plug Power's stock jumped more than 16% after it reported earnings on Thursday and said it expected 2014 orders to hit more than $150 million, which is almost four times its total for 2013.
It was trading around $7.94 soon after the market opened.
The company's revenue for the fourth quarter of 2013 was $8.0 million. For the same period 2012, it had revenue of $5.9 million.
Yet, it had a net loss of $28.9 million in the fourth quarter. For the same period 2012, it had a net loss of $8.5 million.
That large loss was mainly because of a charge of $20 million related to a change in the fair value of previously issued common stock warrants, said Bloomberg. Excluding the charge, the loss narrowed to $8 million, or 8 cents a share, from $9.59 million, or 25 cents a share.
Analysts expected the company to lose 8 cents a share in the fourth quarter.
Plug Power, which puts fuel cells into forklifts, said that during the fourth quarter, it received sales and maintenance orders from "significant customers" such as Walmart, Kroger, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
For the full year 2013, revenue hit $26.6 million. That's slightly down from full-year 2012, when total revenue of $26.1 million.
Full year net loss was $62.8 million. In 2012, that net loss was $31.9 million.
Shipments of its products were down in the fourth quarter 2013 as well as for full-year 2013.
It shipped 279 units during the fourth quarter vs 518 units in the same time 2012. For full year, it shipped 918 units compared to 1,391 in 2012.
Sales orders for the year 2014 already exceeded $60 million, Plug Power said in a statement.
"I am more bullish than ever that Plug Power is moving into a rapid-growth cycle," CEO Andy Marsh said in a statement on Thursday.
Plug Power had a strong surge in the stock market of late, but has been up and down over the last year. It's 52-week price ranged from 15 cents to $11.72.

Market is not doing good LWC23, but PLUG is a future growth play for sure, a 250 point drop on Wall Street is only a 1.38% drop lol, hold tight, this has a way t go, turbulent but uphil, the shorts are screwed, this I know! They can't even get 'er down nor short anymore, the brokers are calling the shorts and forcing them to cover slowly, this will increase after each market close.
Then this will just keep sailing! They can't shake it! They will try, lol, but this is a massive volume monster upside.
Folks if you are on the Yahoo message boards remember the shorts are so freaked out right ow, trust me, THEY ARE! Sooo....
Anytime you read something you agree with BE SURE to hit the Thumbs Up icon for each post, it will weed out the morons and keep the real investors reading the most liked messages. It really will help... It will weed out the shorties! Now trust me, the shorts are going to go insane any moment, mostly after seeing a post such as this, I know the tricks, had a MAJOR fight once with a VERY BIG shortseller named Asensio years back (Diana Corporation - Symbol DNA. It ran from $4 - $114), I was written up in NewsWeek and Wall Street Journal, I know you might not believe this but trust me!
We won, we will win again, hold tight!
Buuuh bye Short-sters, PLUG is doing real deals! Again Buuuh bye!
PLUG, Not the PLUG of the past. UP!
This stock is performing so solid that it amazes the heck out of me. The SHORTS can't get out lol, they are so screwed, there is WAY TO MUCH interest in this stock now, bad press is good press as PLUG beat expectations, no-one can BS anymore, it's obvious accumulation by the entire retail market and any moment the big guns, they know this is a squeeze ready to happen and there is so much more news to come.
This is a profitable company, you NOW can't take that away from them, so buy the options all the way out to 2016 and further, buy some stock to trade now as this is going to keep going.
This is really a paradise of an investment, with massive news soon about China, Asia, and the mention by the CEO of a SOLID car manufacturer, this is a play for sure, hold tight, forget what ANYONE says, we are in profit mode and growing in triple digits now.
The attention alone on the news will propel this to 20 IMO.
The volume in trading alone will keep us at these prices as a base, but really this will close higher, the base is $9.00, I will bet my life on this, just about :).
Don't even watch the message boards, just hold on, PLUG management will do all the work for you as they ALREADY HAVE!
SIT TIGHT!
~Sherwood Coasts Group (SchoolDisk) is Back!

WallStreetJournal: Plug Power Is Back, Baby!
By: Steven Russolillo and Matt Jarzemsky
http://blogs.wsj.com/moneybeat/2014/03/13/plug-power-is-back-baby-nevermind-the-losses/?mod=yahoo_hs
Day-trader darling Plug Power Inc.PLUG +12.79% is on the move again.
Shares jumped as much as 25% Thursday after the fuel-cell company reported double-digit revenue growth in the fourth quarter. The firm reported its bookings reached $32 million, thanks to strong product sales and maintenance orders from large companies such as Wal-Mart Stores Inc.WMT -0.70%, Kroger Co.KR -0.73% and BMWBMW.XE -0.15%.
The company also reported a $62.7 million net loss for 2013, continuing a streak of unprofitable years stretching back to the founding of the company, but investors seemed instead to focus on the revenue growth–and the optimistic tone the company sounded for the rest of 2014.
Chief Executive Andy Marsh said Plug Power started the first quarter by signing a multisite, multiyear contract for its new GenKey product with Wal-Mart that exceeded the company’s goals for the period. “I firmly believe that this continuing momentum will carry on throughout 2014, and that orders for this year will total more than $150 million–almost four times our total for 2013,” Mr. Marsh said.
The good news comes after a tough few days for Plug. Shares plunged 42% on Tuesday following a scathing report from research firm Citron Research, which dismissed the company’s fundamentals and said Plug has become a “casino stock” on Wall Street. From Citron:
“A casino stock, by contrast, is the lowest form of speculative moonshot. A casino stock can trade twice its outstanding shares in a single day, while turning over its entire float on people gambling that they can find a buyer at a higher price … Who really cares about anything else, right? The recent volume and share price surge in Plug Power (NASDAQ:PLUG) demonstrates how Wall Street treats this stock: nothing more than a casino.
“Who is behind PLUG, and what do they do? This is simple: Plug Power sells fuel cell-powered forklifts … with fuel cells they acquire from Ballard Power. Nothing fancy here, folks. Same business model since the 2000 crash … Well over a decade as a public company, during which they have lost close to $850 million, while developing no IP or meaningful revenue growth. Profitability? Forget about it!”
Plug operates in the sector that make technologies focused on fuel cells, which through a chemical reaction convert hydrogen or gas to produce electricity to power forklifts, generators and vehicles, among other things. The sector has a long history of unprofitability and is known for its volatile share moves and heavy short-interest positions.
That hasn’t stopped traders recently from piling in.
Plug’s volume has skyrocketed since the start of the year, putting it among the most actively traded stocks in the U.S. In the past 30 days, it has seen 49 million shares change hands daily, on average, more than any stock in the S&P 500 except Bank of America Corp.BAC -0.67%, Facebook Inc.FB -2.93% and Verizon Communications Inc.VZ -0.45%, according to FactSet.
On Thursday, more than 93 million shares traded as of 12:45 p.m. Eastern Time–a number made all the more remarkable by the fact that the company only has about 105 million share outstanding.
“This is a speculative play, without a doubt,” said Ian Winer, director of equity trading at Wedbush Securities Inc., which doesn’t publish analyst research on Plug. “We’re in a wild bull market and watching a stock like Plug shows that the retail investor is coming back.”
He said the high volume figures, combined with the fact that Plug can “turn over its float multiple times in a week…is indicative of a large day-trading presence.”
Plug’s stock has been on a wild ride over the past year. It traded as low as 15 cents last April and remained under $1 as recently as early December. But as the chart below shows, the stock surged 338% this year through Wednesday’s close. It traded as high as $11.41 on Monday.

But the recent moves pale in comparison to what transpired during the tech boom.
Seasoned day traders remember Plug vividly from the late 1990s and early 2000s, when fuel-cell stocks were all the rage. Plug skyrocketed in its first four-and-a-half months of a trading as a public company and peaked at $1,510, yes $1,510, in March 2000 before suffering a precipitous drop.
Plug Power shares since the October 1999 IPO
FactSet
While it’s tempting to think of Plug as simply the latest day-trader’s plaything, the company sold $22.4 million worth of stock to a “single institutional investor” earlier this month, suggesting there’s at least one large, well-capitalized investor who’s willing to look past the $540 million in net losses Plug has racked up over the past decade. It’s possible that holder will disclose the position in the coming weeks.
Recently, Plug’s largest shareholder was Heights Capital Management Inc., according to FactSet. Quant hedge funds like Renaissance Technologies LLC and Two Sigma Investments LLC were also among its major holders.
Notably absent among the highest ranks of its owners are the typically buy-and-hold-oriented large mutual fund firms like Fidelity Investments or T. Rowe Price Group Inc.TROW -0.98%, which appear near the top of the holder list in many U.S. stocks. This holder data relies on regulatory filings from asset-management firms that don’t provide an up-to-the-minute snapshot, so that may have changed recently.

WHAT IS FRONT RUNNING, WHY IT'S ILLEGAL
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Front_running
Front running is the illegal practice of a stockbroker executing orders on a security for its own account while taking advantage of advance knowledge of pending orders from its customers. When orders previously submitted by its customers will predictably affect the price of the security, purchasing first for its own account gives the broker an unfair advantage, since it can expect to close out its position at a profit based on the new price level. The front running broker either buys for his own account (before filling customer buy orders that drive up the price), or sells (where the broker sells for its own account, before filling customer sell orders that drive down the price).
ALL PREMARKET IS SHORT COVERING.
The big guys could short it more after open, as they have to, cause if it rises and retail investors come in and buy up shares they are truly F-ed!
This will be a war, in the long run PLUG is going places, so I hope the retail investors GET IT, this is for sure a stock to bet on, 150 MILLION on earnings, wow! This will just grow each year easily 100-300%, amazing.

You said "I think no matter what the action is tomorrow, buyers will resume the next day. This has VERY HIGH visibility, for several weeks crossing the CNBC ticker every morning nicely above previous close. Today's AH was nuts, trading up to 7.15 at one point (5% above close). I think alot of people are intrigued with this company and its future."

Way Way Way Oversold. Has to Pop Big!
They are selling once it shows positive (green), it's short sellers, most volume is buying right now, so many shorts as the brokers keep saying when traders call in that there are no more shares available, this has to be a squeeze!
BOOOM - Here we go! Massive Rebound in Order!
This might get insane, I am long, no trading here, staying put till 2016! Own tons of options for many strike prices, wont sell any.
Amazed this is still thinking on going higher lol, I think any moment this is going to explode upwards.
NO VOLUME: Always = BUY TIME IMO
Shorts have no more funds, last ones who shorted ran out of money and are at the bottom, so they are SCREWED bigtime if this turns now, and I think it should turn HARDCORE soon!
Just my opinion.
Another Support Level $5.94 - $6.00
Barely Trading Shares Now, Volume DRYING UP.
Volume drying up fast right now. Funny how it drops on NO volume now.
Ready for MASSIVE rebound, watch out! Just my opinion.
Huge news on conference call, Auto Market is tens of billions. (You know they are interested)
Kroger is onboard and Walmart and so many more!!
Watch for volume slowing and a rebound and then big volume and upward moves. Big blocks.
It really should have tested about $8.10 on that dip, so as far as I see it this is a strong normal pullback.
That was all short selling (After CNBC Comment) by shorts who DO NOT know what they just got themselves into, they will be SQUEEE-EEE-ZZ-ed!
HAHAHA, I think it is starting, watch close, gonna get fun.
LONG N STRONG for sooo many reasons, you can't shake PLUG, MASSIVE potential!
If anyone sees (and I miss it) like buy orders of 100K lots let me know, also that is when you know this is gonna FLY again.
Also watch the options trades as well! Big orders all at once!

PLUG makes money, they are a buyout or merger or more candidate.
Big meetings with PLUG and the investment community, investors and new technology innovators going on now.
Expecting this trading here to be a trap for the shorts, will be interesting, watch for big share orders when this starts to get wild again, then it's time for much more fun.
~Sherwood Coasts
I hope you know that anything can happen overnight including a earthquake in Los Angeles of a magnitude 9.5, or a major war in Russia could start up again, hope your friends are nice people. Be careful people! I think PLUG is going places but keep all in perspective.
If PETE NAJARIAN just said that on CNBC - well then I feel very badly for any shorts who stayed in overnight! WOW
CNBC has power, this stock traded SOOO many shares that there really is no way to shake this move, it's really not normal! And with China saying in quote "We must now stop pollution" you know whats up. Hydrogen is in DEMAND BAD!
PS, very important: There was a mention today in a news report by General Electric, yes (GE) that they are very interested in Hydrogen technology.
Now think about this for a minute, PLUG and Ballard are making money as we speak, they work together.
So I will go out on a wim and predict that BLDP and PLUG merge, also that GE shows interest in profitable technologies with Hydrogen Tech companies and I predict that they may be a buyer.
You just do not see volume and price moves like this, it's not normal! Compare the volume today with PLUG Powers past rocket ship ride to $150.00 +. The volume back then does not even COME CLOSE to any sort of a comparison. And back then they were not even close to profitable, now they are black as we speak, they make money now.
So in my opinion there is MUCH more to come out of PLUG.
And with the US Gov't behind these stocks publicly and recently, all I can say is hold on $14.00 is next and much more.
TR4GEDY HAHAHAHAHA ROTFLMAO HAHA
"lets all have a silent moment to remember all the folks that shorted this ..."
Detearing, with this volume, something HAS TO BE up... it just popped again! Also BLDP is rocketing insane right now. UNREAL! BIG BLDP MOVE!
Keep eye on NBG, on this one a while. (Unrelated but huge pot.)
We are now blasting through all resistance! UNREAL!!!!!
Something is up for sure! This is big azz volume! BLDP also blasting through.
We just missed the test at $10.66, ready to test again any moment, if we blast through $10.70 on high volume watch out shorts!
