You can't build an entire marketing strategy on a trade show. How much do they sell when not at trade shows? I think trade shows are lame...internet marketing is sexy. I'll take sexy any day! Instead of relying on trade show sales injections, they have a long-term and consistent marketing strategy selling 100% online.
Not even going to waste the time on a reply to this other than we shall agree to disagree. They are in the trenches, you are not. They obviously want to succeed and succeeding does not require following every investor's "back seat driver philosophy". They fix things that need fixed and focus on what works. You are on the outside looking in like all of us, it's easy to be overly critical. They know what they need to do and I see them doing it.
haha...so true!
You are not understanding what they do...those types of advertising WORK for them, so why stop? Especially when it's REALLY hard for cannabis related products to advertise. They can't run google ads, facebook ads, and so much more, they told me this a long time ago when I was having a convo with a support rep. They said general advertising platforms deny their ads and/or delete their accounts due to it being cannabis.
Along with the traditional advertising THAT WORKS FOR THEM, they have found creative ways to advertise via content advertising, cannabis friendly ad networks, etc. Now they are building out their social media (granted they could have started earlier) and this is a really good thing because just like they've very intelligently looked into all the various ways to advertise efficiently, they'll do it with social media too.
I love all the people on here that are like "they need to be at trade shows, they need to be in stores, blah, blah, blah". This Forbes article has just proven they have had the right focus all along with it showing the majority of sales are online driven.
They are good at online sales and they need to stay focused on what they are good at...not the circus of less effective marketing forms people constantly talk about on here.
Stop with all the advise! Seems they are right most of the time with what they choose to do, and this latest Forbes article is yet another example their focus is in the right place.
I love that CryptoBuy logo!
You are 100% correct, I ordered some yesterday and asked their customer support about it and they said they spelled it that way to give it Gourmet appearance.
Looking good UBQU! I love the pets page too...great design!
Who is going to fire him? Himself? Laughable...
Yes they do... I've received several of them. I've also compared them to COA'S from other companies I've ordered from and those other company show nasty things like residual solvents and heavy metals in their testing. Not all but some... like CW botanicals that makes Charlottes Web for example.
Really!? You have some lab testing results that can show this? I have been purchasing their products for the last couple years and I order them regularly. Very satisfied customer and their products have helped me immensely, and I have several friends and family members that have benefited as well.
Everyone just needs to start dealing with the fact that the MMJ sector is not even remotely close to how hot it has been in the past and chances are that it is just going to keep churning. The best next leg up for this stock is going to be their entry into the cryptocurrency world, and don't get hung up on the shenanigans of "oh, it's not an exchange so they won't make money, etc."
They were very smart to make a decision to be a service provider in the industry that is not subject to all the looming regulations and all the horrible nightmares that have happened to the cryptocurrency exchanges. As I said in a message yesterday, during the gold rush, the people that made the big money were the people that provided shovels and tools for all the dreamers coming trying to get some of the gold... which very few of the dreamers made anything significant.
We are positioned very well with our next leg up IMO
Why would you want it to be an exchange? Have you just done a simple Google search on all the horrific issues that exchanges have had over the last couple years?
Good grief, I'm 100% relieved that they are not trying to be an exchange.
The cryptocurrency world is a Gold Rush right now, and do you remember who made all the money in the gold rush? People flooded to the gold rush and most of them made nothing, just a few people who got lucky. The people who made all the money in the Gold Rush where the people selling shovels and the tools to service the people rushing for the gold. EXACTLY what CryptoBuy is going to do. None of the headaches exchanges have had and not affected by looming regulations.
Smart.
It always has... nothing new.
I do not believe this is true, where do you see this information?
Not sure how you reply pertains to what I was saying/asking either
Can you go through all your posts and share the post numbers where you have said ANYTHING positive about the company? Like finding a needle in a haystack!
You consistently sabotage your own investment if you do truly own any stock in this company.... unless you do truly have other motives, then it makes sense
Agree 100%
Or whattaya gonna do?
acampors can, he's aware too. I'm heading off to bed
It's in the last set of financials released... something like 122 million of convertible shares issued.
Hey acampors... so a little over 100 million shares were issued as convertible shares last quarter, who is to say all those shares have, or will be converted?
FYI... Looks like www.CryptoBuy.com is now forwarding to the Ubiquitech site... things are moving along!
That company was one that received a warning letter from the FDA and the FDA also tested their products showing virtually no CBD present in many of the products.
Ummmm... not sure how you read into me saying that at all. I am saying that the company is smart enough to use internet marketing and content marketing as the driving force for their sales. All this other crap... Infomercials... Trade shows... Etc is all old crap. Just like google ads... it's dinosaur shit. It's 2017 and content is what people want, not trade shows. You can do trade shows and be successful at it, but content marketing and strategic internet marketing is like dropping media bombs as opposed to lighting firecrackers.
Did you know James Ballas, the CEO, has an extensive history in infomercials and is an on-camera talent? Don't you think if he thought that would be beneficial to the company he would be the guy to do it and would be doing it now? Being in marketing myself, it is well known within the internet marketing industry that infomercials are not profitable over 90% of the time. The infomercials that you see running on TV over and over are losing money on their ad spends just to get end cap space in big box stores. Hemp CBD might even be too controversial of a product for a major Network to even air infomercials for it... you gotta think this stuff through.
What do you consider serious marketing?
You guys have no clue how horrible an exchange would be... I sincerely hope they don't go down the exchange route, and I never thought via the news and Cryptobuy that they were going down the exchange road. What did any of you read that made you think this?
Historically Cryptocurrency exchanges have had a very bumpy road including hacks that steal all coins in their exchange, banking issues, trading platform issues, and one of the biggest threats... worldwide looming regulation.
What it sounds like to me is they were smart enough to realize this and entered the service arena of this sector to AVOID all the issues mentioned above.
Just with my personal experiences in dealing with the small and largest Cryptocurrency exchanges, on top of all the exchange nightmares that have happened, I TRULY HOPE and do not believe they are becoming an exchange.
Just do a simple google search for "Cryptocurrency exchange challenges" and you'll see... https://www.google.com/search?client=ms-android-verizon&ei=2deJWYqsFOLbjwTNqZWICw&q=cryptocurrency+exchange+challenges&oq=cryptocurrency+exchange+challenges&gs_l=mobile-gws-serp.3...35367.42285.0.42853.19.19.0.0.0.0.256.3374.0j15j3.18.0....0...1.1j4.64.mobile-gws-serp..4.14.2616...0j35i39k1j0i131k1j0i20k1j0i22i30k1j33i160k1j33i21k1.55EZ9ljmR6g
Thanks... I do remember seeing that.
Where are you getting this info?
This is one of the most exciting long-term statements in the press release... Read between the lines...
Additionally, as the CryptoBuy.com team establishes itself within the cryptocurrency market, it is also planning on developing solutions for industries where monetary exchange is a challenge, (i.e. the cannabis industry where it can assist with divisions like HempLifeToday.com domestically and internationally) via blockchain technology, and new advanced applications. Even mainstream players such as Goldman Sachs, Visa, Capital One, Nasdaq, and the New York Stock Exchange have realized the potential and have invested in underlying blockchain technology for future use.
Good move... this has got to be some of the best news we could get! Now we can catch the waves from the cannabis sector and also ride the Cryptocurrency wave which is HUGE right now.
I just started trading Cryptocurrency a few months ago and talk about crazy! My coins will be up 100% one day and down 100% the next. I've had a couple nice 1,000%+ gains I've cashed in on. The swings are nuts!
Right now I use the only decent crypto trading software called Coinigy... sounds like they will be competing with them and offering some cool extra features/services. They are correct and smart for recognizing that there is a definite gap in the Cryptocurrency market for this type of service.
Best thing is that this has GLOBAL appeal... build it, turn on the marketing machine and CASH IN!
Observe the people who were absent today... it totally exposes their motives when they only show up on days when the stock is struggling or is down.
Such funny emotional investing here... lol. Here is what I mean...
The stock is down= "OMG, Ballas must GO! They don't know what they're doing. Jimmy Crack Corn is tanking the stock! Toxic debt etc etc"
The stock is up= "Wow... Moving up so quickly! Weeeeeeeee! Look at it start to run! UBQU STONG! etc, etc"
Cracks me up...
It's amazing how all the "DD" experts here can't seem to find them all over the web just as I have... They advertise on almost all marijuana related websites that have any kind of decent traffic.
You have really never gotten this company or how internet marketing works... The reach via internet marketing and content marketing is 10000 times greater than any stupid trade show or weed event.
People are definitely getting that feeling around here... And if it's true, it's going to be huge!
