Well, it's been talked about many times...he probably can't mention his company when he's there to speak as a former DHS guy, but, that doesn't mean he can't ask them to do a story on the company separately, or another network, as Glenn did on Fox Business years ago.
It's unbelievable to me that you think the media would not be interested in a company like IMSC. The immediate terror threat has been on the news the last two weeks, nonstop. And they wouldn't like to do a story on a US company that is helping to combat terrorism?
It's an compelling and timely story, and I just hope if there is a marketing person (s) at IMSC, they don't think like you do. (or maybe you are that guy)
No brainer. And yes, it would help their business, and would make a huge difference in the stock price..which we want to go up...no?
Yeah..and every other company has a product that can save lives and is so connected with two acts of terrorism that killed hundreds of people. But hey....what they're doing now has got us to 63 cents...why waste anybody's time with a story....keep it quiet.. Makes sense.
Coming up on the next hour of FOX Business, we'll meet the two gentlemen who run a small American company that is trying to combat exactly the kind of terrorist activity that we've seen from Isis over the last few weeks, in the plane bombing as well as the Paris suicide bombers. Bob Liscowski, is a former DHS head now President of Mass. based Implant Sciences along with the person that is considered the Father of Explosive Trace Detection, Bill Mgann, who is the CEO of the company.
This tiny company has just shipped cutting edge explosive detection machines to French airports in the last few months as well as replacing the existing equipment used by the TSA here at the US checkpoints. Stay tuned...
(we wish)
Nice job B9....not so hard.......we sold over 500 to France lately..over a French company, Morpho....and they apparently need them...as does all of Europe...etc..etc
Seriously?
Of all the time since 9/11, this is the time to tell...or scream the IMSC story....its just sitting there...waiting to be told.
Losing share price and some credit to all those that sent emails stating how ridiculous the time limit and seeming secrecy about the important things regarding the company on the last CC. Night and day.
Hopefully they also take all those good things we heard last night and share it with the others in the investing world as well as the media. Great story, share it.
I wouldn't use this board to gauge interest in the company, most on this board and the other have their own agenda, and it's not always geared toward the long term success of the company.
Marketing is free if you're smart about it. Take advantage of the news cycles and get folks to know the company.
No brainer and can at least get eyes on the company, and help in the long run with those issues like PPS and refi's.
Agree that they might still have limited options as far as refi is concerned. A larger order off the IDQ would be helpful, as well as some new standards and orders for cargo coming off the bombing.
Another way to get investors to at least LOOK at the company, is marketing. That is their biggest weakness in my opinion. Somehow, someway, after the downing of an aircraft, probably from a bomb, the company has to tell their story, a great American story.
I could write it, almost anyone could write a great business story about IMSC and the interest is tenfold because of the climate in the last few weeks. With all the connections that the management team has out there, they can't get one good story into the larger media outlets? Seems amazing that they hold the story as if they want to keep it a secret. Hopefully they will address that on the call.
Or...they'll have a CC and discuss the last quarter. I hope to hear about the TSA shipments. If you've listened to any of the last few CCs, anything beyond that is a bonus.
They had an amazing Q. They are EBDT positive. They are about to ship to the US government. They are quietly (way too quietly) moving the company in the right direction. Hoping for too much tomorrow is setting yourself and others up for disappointment in my opinion.
Nope...job title as former DHS
Saw Bob L on CNN a few minutes ago as well as yesterday, discussing the bombing.. Hopefully he'll get to also tell Implants story to them soon enough!
Looks like some new jobs on the job line as well...
Put in there for a reason ...as was the mention of as was "first of its kind networking solution". (TSA delay)
Well...I guess they're still open. There's that. How bout HIRING a Marketing guy. The easiest and best story to be told but nobody even TRIES to tell it.
Understood Nowak. If I had never sold shares on the few large spikes we've had, I'd be in big trouble. Not that I'm green, but I'm not too far away. I know we have some true longs here and I hope for all of us that things work out after this WAY too long wait.
I was here when they had no European sales, no TSA approval, no IDQ, no anything! I'm not gonna give up at the point they might actually pull this off. (with very little help for investors by management by the way) I'd also like to see the new handheld, cause that would seem to me to be a true game changer.
Either way...best of luck to you and those that are still in it.
I'm one that agrees with you Scooter. I took some off the table before the CC because my thinking was that that last Q was not going to be a ground breaker. (Even if it was the best ever)
I feel more comfortable buying in the 40s and 50s than in the 80s. I do think the next Q will be that ground breaker and if it's not, then I'll have to reassess my entire investment.
Understand that folks don't like the "thanks for your shares", so I'll just say this. There are those on here who are doing just what I described, but yelling and screaming about the end of the world/company to get others to sell. Make no mistake about that.
I've been using the "contact us" on the website. I'm going to also send emails directly to Bob....rliscouski@implantsciences.com. Or Brenda. I'll let ya know if I hear anything back.
Now there's a constructive post. I've sent them three emails over the last week and haven't heard back. I'm gonna send three more today and every day till we get some type of feedback. Do we really have to wait till mid Nov for a CC call with a 15 minute window to know that the plan is? Everybody who is still here...and an actual investor, should call and write. At some point maybe they'll get the drift that pitchforks and torches are next.
That's what I'm saying.
Your dream actually.... But I'll be buying with u......again...fooling no one!!
Strange..you write exactly like another doom and gloomer that used to be here. Hmmm. Like I said...you're fooling no one.
Nope....I'll keep sending them though. Might be annoying..but at this point, join the club. We're all annoyed at them.
Yep. And anyone that says that this stock is at least tried to be manipulated, hasn't read those words of doom...and hundreds of others over the years. Just look at Yahoo. Completely taken over by someone who wants IMSC to fail...or at least the share price to fail.
Between all the doomers, the DMRJ dramas of cutting funding over the years, the failed lawsuit, the challenge to the IDQ, etc...it's kinda amazing that they're still here plugging away. (Albeit at 56 cents)
Every true long here should be emailing Investor relations and demanding that the next CC should not be a 15 minute Q@A limit and take the time to call in and ask all those questions that are constantly brought up on this board. That is their only true failure...communication.
I used the "contact us" email on the website. I headed it to Brenda Barron because I've met her and respect her..but maybe send it to Bob? Just a response would be polite.
I too wrote to the company and mentioned how little clarity there is for long term investors on what exactly their plan is for dealing with the debt, or if they have one. I also mentioned how ridiculous it is to have a 15 time limit on Q@A on a CC call that is the only way starved for info investors get any insight into what's going on. I'm gonna stick around till the next CC and lower my average to a point...but after the next earnings, if things don't change for the better, it's time to jump ship.
Next Q should be a blockbuster. I'm gonna agree that two things they HAVE to do better. Inform us what the plan is to change the debt structure. As in, talk about it. Secondly, they have to get rid of that ridiculous cutoff time for questions. Three questions? I will send an email to Investor relations, I suggest all of you do the same.
I agree that a plan, or explanation is more important than the actual numbers for this Q, because if those sales are not in this one, they'll more than likely be in the next one. I'm working during the CC but I hope you and others here that have complained about lack of info ask relevant questions during the Q@A. If you don't like how the company is being run, complaining on message boards get zero answers. You can at least try to get some insight by asking tonight.
I'll take huge increase in revenue and a plan what to do with it over a pre CC fluff PR any day. Even a plan alone will keep me till the next one.
I'd agree that now would be a good time to be a short term player..but looking at some of those larger buys in the 80 cent range, seems either they haven't paid attention to the price recently...(70-75 cents) or don't care that they paid 10 cents more than they could have over the last few weeks. Maybe they're dumb, wealthy or both, but it sorta looks like someone just wanted to get in...and quickly.
.83....300k shares....either a good head fake or somebody is not trying to hide some info buying.
Between the random days of volume and price appreciation and the BOT posts on Yahoo, someone with some knowhow wants to get in or convince others to sell. We....the rest of us...in the dark.
Amazing numbers coming up after this next Q....PS...19 million in consumables sounds like alot for that initial order, no? Maybe the follow on order from the idq is coming...or does that sound about right for 1200 machines?

Man...you're good Winters.....nice find. Consumables.
Amen...we've all been here a looong time.
We've seen the highs and the lows and can recognize the obvious attempt to push the price down..... ie .7155 etc. (ps if you have stops..get rid of em)
We've seen the hysteria of the end is near...screaming and using all CAPS and the direct correlation to the wackos on the Yahoo board.
What we havn't seen up to this point, is profitable Quarters. That will be changing soon. No doubt about it.
You either believe that those next few quarters are gonna change the company and keep buying. Or you sell. Not so complicated.
The rest is noise.
Its almost Friday..u too can buy in the low 70s!!
Dude.....let me get this straight...you get a paycheck on Friday and that forces you to buy on Fridays? Wow....perhaps a new hobby is in need. Everyone has had opportunities to lower their average over the last three months.... A gift considering the sales and the amazing As coming up.
An opportunity to buy....isn't that what you wanted? You keep screaming all caps and I'll keep lowering my average. BUY THE CARNAGE!!!! LOL
Six.....please get over it. You're obsessed with something that is not going to happen. NOT going to happen. PS...if anybody bought 500k shares, the price would go to a buck.
I've been buying for the last two months..so that should make you happy. The next Q is right around the corner....
