Have any Handcamp core samples been sent to the lab yet? Probably has been covered here and I missed it in the numerous posts. Anyway someone must have asked Ken that on the phone.
Can anyone supply a reference (other than in MiningPlay) to the Bogdan lawsuit being decided in Juan's favor? The assumption is that the lawsuit was the reason for the delay in signing the JV agreement???
Ex-distribution date definition -

Thanks. How did I miss that?
Guess that means if there is any free gold in the core, it will be immediately apparent and we won't have to wait for weeks.
Where are the cores removed, split, and examined"
At the drill site? at the lab? some third location?
BVIG has traded 79500 shares today, most at 0.70. With a 1 for 4 distribution, your KATX shares are really worth 0.175 more, almost a double of the present price.
Looks like we are due for a bounce up off the 50-day moving average of 0.152.

Probably this question has been covered before. If BVIG is a separate entity from KATX and KATX shareholders get free shases
of BVIG, is this a taxable event? Maybe it's only taxable if and when the BVIG shares are sold with the tax cost-basis being zero???
Drilling was delayed not because of anomalies, but because the drilling rig and crew hasn't shown up yet from their present job. These rigs and their crews are scheduled so they don't sit around idle waiting for someone to decide where to drill the holes. Chances are that the prior job has run into trouble or
the results are promising enough to drill more holes right away.
They don't want to move the rig off the property and have to bring it back later to finish. So we'll start drilling when the rig arrives. And we will keep the rig longer if there are good results thus delaying the next customer.
KATX Investor Relations should be ashamed of themselves for not giving us the facts. I just lost some confidence in them. There was no reason not to tell the truth. At best, they are not up to date with the current situation.
I doubt that actual drilling will start today. Has anyone
confirmed?
Geoly's group offered to fund drilling also but Juan wasn't interested.
And a good geologist can look at the drill core on the spot and tell if free gold exists.
Why won't the market makers just sell the stock short and not cover, the way they do most other penny stocks? Doesn't matter what the actual float is. This would mean that you can buy now if you wanted to.
4999 share trades. My son had a sell order for 10000 shares at 0.197 to pay some bills. They filled it in three trades - 4999, 4999 and 2 shares.
It's not necessarily manipulation. Someone put in a million share sell at the opening and the market makers took the price down rather than gamble.
How could the BVIG share price go up if it can't be traded? In a brokerage account the share value is the price of the last trade (which apparently was 70 cents some time ago). So Handcamp can prove to be a bonanza but BVIG would remain at 0.70. Had Handcamp remained in KATX, the KATX share price would be running wild. Seems to me that we've just lost the speculation value of Handcamp. It would have been better for the KATX shareholders to move all the KATX assets into BVIG.
dam right.
How can KATX stock price be unaffected as Handcamp value will be subtracted?
"They are free shares all right. But those free shares mean that my shares in KATX will have less value."
Also the free shares of BVIG can't be traded for a year. Does this mean BVIG will not change on a daily basis? Maybe it could
change based on the perception of a share value one year out but what would be the market forces effecting this change if there are no market makers? This is confusing.
Don't see his posts. What did he write?

hulkster, I DO know about mining stocks.
Do you think if I just shut up a JV is going to magically appear?
Well, we've tried everything else. This is, in my opinion, worth a try.
So what is Greg saying now? Anyone?
About 4 or 5 years ago I made a similar calculation assuming we found a world-class mine the size of Escondida Copper Mine, Atacama Desert, Chile and got over $30 a Medinah share just
for the copper production alone. But MG says our stock would be bought out long before that happened.
Now trading at 0.020. Those who recently got their friends
and relatives to buy in the 0.0375 range are upset.
I doubt that you can find a reference where ANYONE ever said that.
"Agreed...all I've heard about in my one month here, is how responsible and how diligent and how shareholder friendly the leaders of this company are..."
It's only a "Q&A" and not an "update".
An undate would replace the text on the homepage.
A Q&A has historically been of little importance
except for stretching out the timeframe.
I BELIEVE!!! but only because you are the only one associated with this stock that hasn't used up all his credibility.
I believe you. You certainly would know how the MMs operate.
Market maker signals to each other.
http://www.thepennystockblog.com/signals.html
Wonder if they have changed their signals. For
example what does 4999 shares mean? Any ideas?
Penny traders believe that Market Makers (MM) will "signal" moves in advance buy using small amounts of buys or sells as "signals". The "signals" are such a small amount of shares (worth no more than 5 or 10 dollars) that no trader would have paid a commission that costs more than the amount of shares bought. The "signals" are from one MM to another.
100 I need shares.
200 I need shares badly, but do not take the stock down.
300 Take the price down so I can load shares
400 Keep trading it sideways.
500 Gap the stock. This gap can be either up or down, depending on the direction of the 500 signal.
Most of us have waited over 5 years to get these illegal NS sellers into a short squeeze when the JV is completed. And now you just want to let them off the hook. Medinah and Cerro management apparently agrees with this strategy as there never has been any promotional press releases designed to boost stock price. I say NO to your idea. Let those cheating market makers burn! They are sitting on piles of cash obtained by selling Medinah shares short and not having to deliver any shares. Let them spend that pile and then some.
"Or for those really in the know - what the base of shareholders might actually look like? (do we have any idea how much stock is held by the company, and/or insiders?) "
There are several thousands of shareholders in MDMN but less than one thousand in CDCH. Since the shares naked shorted in MDMN exceeds the amount issued by several times, it is impossible to know how much management and major shareholders actually control. Most of the "shares" out there do not have ownership listed in Medinah's books and really would not count in an election. It is probable that Juan, Les, past and present officers hold a simple majority of the registered shares. At the
last shareholder's meeting two years ago, the were more than
100 percent of Medinah's shares actually represented by the participants broker's statements, and there has been tremendous
naked short-selling since then.
When the joint venture arrives and steps are taken to clean up
the bogus shares, then your stockbroker will be resposible for
obtaining legitimate shares for your account. He will have to get restitution from the short sellers and someone will have to buy shares on the open market resulting in a short squeeze.
It is important to have a financially strong stockbroker.
If the offer in hand is accepted, getting 150 million Euros will
add 15 cents a share value to Medinah's stock price and twice that
much to Cerro's. That and having a joint venture underway (with a 15% retained ownership) will easily boost Medinah's share price to the 30 cent range. On top of that, we have covering of short positions so who know how much higher than 30 cents it can quickly go. But maybe the offer arriving Monday morning will be superior to the satisfactory existing offer....Now is no time not to be fully invested.
Nope. They are paid on the number of posts they make.
If you engage in dialog, then they can respond.

Double top now at 9 cents. Expect a breakthru next week followed by a retrace to 9, then on to 15 cents over several weeks.
So where's the news? Movement like today's can't
be caused by the nickel/dimers that we normally
have. PR out in the morning???
More than one drilling rig-should finish drilling quickly.
"For the past several weeks the company has engaged the assistance of a contracted geologist to compile all property data in order to outline favorable drill targets and to submit all government applications for the approval of mobilizing drill rigs to the site. '
"I wouldn't automatically assume it would be leaked. Companies have no problems keeping secrets either. This isn't the type of info they would sit on though. If they come to agreement on a deal there, and sign a letter of intent, then I would expect them to announce it very quickly. If they don't sign a LOI at the show or if there is something that states they can't announce it until the contract is final, then it might be 3 to 6 weeks before we hear about it. Either way, it's not going to be long before major news hits IMO."
According to the guys in another I-Hub thread, a company listed in the U.S. under the jurisdiction of the SEC has about three days to make major developments known to the public. A major development is one which could greatly affect the share price. This SEC rule was put in place in order to reduce insiders and their friends from benefiting from the information. GEOLY37, who posts here sometimes, would know more about this.
Good news matters not. IMO Naked short-seller NITE has this stock locked down. If he is not short selling,
where is he getting his shares from? The SEC should
investigate NITE.
