Doubt it... I have yet to remember a 4/20! ;]
It's very easy actually, they just have to stop enforcing prohibition. The commerce clause gives Congress the right to enforce interstate commerce, not the obligation.
I'll see you there!
Probably Q2 (ending in June)
Just bought some SKTO this morning. Hello all! Nice to be aboard
I've been trying to look that up but I can't remember where I heard it. Might not be true.
There is a difference between when they file and when it appears online though.
Doubt it, we just saw a .03 drop in 2 days. MACD and RSI have turned down. We've crashed right through the defined Ichimoku support (although that isn't a very good indicator for MJNA anyway), and are in full bearish mode. MJNA has shown it can and will trade well below the 20 day MA. Bollinger Bands still have a while to go before they start squeezing. Combine all of these factors along with the lack of volume and lack of news/ real life catalyst and I think we'll be bearish for a little while still.
Why not? Gives them cash to work with. I would be selling too
Very bearish action today. I cashed out half my position, thinking we will break through the 50 day MA before heading north again.
I think that the most recent Q4 report was the first that was meant to meet the 45-day requirement. Not sure though.

Looks just like a chart of their stock price
Thanks. Should I keep trying or is that futile?
I'm getting this message on Etrade:
"Your sell short order cannot be processed. Short sales in this security are not allowed, as we were unable to borrow the shares."
Can anyone explain this?
Feel free to take my .275's!
Good thing we don't own any dispensaries
What makes you say that? No definite catalysts that I can think of
MJNA puts out quarterlies. You can see here when the reports have come out: http://www.medicalmarijuanainc.com/index.php/quarterly-highlights
Last year's Q3 came out in July.
What did you expect, the DEA would be rational?
Prices have been plummeting out west. We're even starting to feel it here in NJ. It seems like every other dealer has a connect in Colorado, California, etc.
Two years ago, getting a $50-55 8th was a good deal for us. The other day I heard a price of $35. For a pound of dank bud you were looking at around $4200. Last year it was down to around $3600 and now I've been hearing $3000 here and in New York. Can't wait until the dispensaries here are in full swing.
Nice news for Dixie though. It's still a lot harder to get trusted consistent and quality edibles than straight bud. The hippies selling brownies out of their their kitchens won't be in business much longer.
You guys are back?
Glad I bought back in!
I'm pissed I missed the flip after that hammer. I bought in and the volume petered right out lol. That one is always a good indicator with MJNA but not with these volumes... Looks like the volume is picking up again though.
I think we'll see mostly action between .28 and .31 this week and next, hitting the 50 day MA and seeing the Bollinger Bands close back up in a few days.
As far as I can tell, the next catalyst we have is the first quarterly report of 2013. The quarter ends March 31st (13 days). I'm curious to see what progress has been made selling off the Phytosphere inventory. After that I believe we only have one more quarter until we start seeing revenue from recreational sales... but correct me if I'm wrong. Q3 should be a beautiful sight with the pot tourism kicking in.
Some captions posted by Dixie Elixers' Facebook page:
"Erik Williams of the CT Cannabis Business Alliance gives an overview of MMJ on the East Coast."
"Jessica from MJ Freeway (one of the hosts) sharing valuable insights on building a successful ancillary MMJ business. It's a very alert crowd."
"A truly standing room only crowd for this seminar! Congratulations to MMJ Business Daily for the turn out tonight."
"Tripp Keber takes the stage for his presentation at the MMJ Business Daily investors seminar. The room is definitely abuzz with people eager to learn more about what it takes to build a business and enduring brand."
"Lots of questions for Chris Walsh. Quite a bit of financial analysis packed into his presentation!"
I did not just repost the flier... Did you even read what I wrote?
I follow MJNA, Dixie, etc. on facebook as well.
Did you notice them congratulating MMJ Business Daily on their event? No? Let me quote their FB page for you:
"Anne Holland, publisher of MMJ Business Daily with Tripp after the event. Congratulations to Anne and her team for a fantastic event. Thank you to Anne for letting us be a part of the fantastic evening."
Wow, who would have guessed this was not a secret MJNA investors meeting?
No, that's exactly what this was, an educational event. Not hosted by Dixie, or MJNA, or Keber, but by MMJ Business Daily. See here: https://mmjbusinessdaily.com/newyork/
Keber was only one of four main speakers today.
It's great that MJNA will be getting some nice press from this event but this was by no means a shareholder meeting or MJNA presentation or anything of the sort. Not a bad opportunity to network though, which I'm sure they didn't pass up on. Plus the fact that Dixie is the biggest sponsor gives them the opportunity to gloat and make the most of the exposure. I wouldn't expect much action based solely on this event though. Nice PR, nothing more.
In fact, I think the most interesting part of this seminar is the seemingly silent sponsorship by the Arcview Group and Privateer Holdings. Didn't see Brendan Kennedy listed as a speaker! Picking up some new hotshot New York investors to add to their ranks? ;)
Disappointing action today and yesterday imo. Where is the volume?
I'm happy to see the outer bollingers coming back together though. Pretty sharp inward turn happening now.
Atta boy!
Keber is not the CEO of MJNA. He's the CEO and President of Red Dice Holdings and on the board of directors at MJNA.
I'm dying to go, won't get out of work in time though. I'll be across the river in Hoboken... such a tease!
It's a seminar

Bill Rehm sounds like he's watched Reefer Madness a few too many times. Potheads attacked him with a screwdriver? Give me a break!
14 is the default number of periods to use. I'm not sure why but it was suggested by Wilder (who developed the RSI). You can adjust the period count to increase or decrease the sensitivity of the RSI reading. Using less periods will make it more sensitive and vice versa. Depends on what you're trading, if you're investing long- or short-term, etc.
Try backtesting a few different settings and see which holds up best.
Absolutely beautiful hammer forming today. With the power hour trading I think we might see a perfect one. I've been waiting all week to load back in, just put in an order at .308... hoping I don't end up chasing today.
MJNA has many more shares
In short: no.
Real estate? I don't think so. I'm pretty sure they've changed direction to distribute the Phytosphere inventory.
Here you go:

Although in my opinion the Ichimoku chart hasn't been very useful in predicting MJNA's action. Sometimes the triggers are correct, sometimes not.
No, every buy is matched to a sell and vice versa. The stock price moves because the trades execute at different prices
just got a nice new Carrera
Anyone have a couple $100m lying around? Id like to start up an REIT and buy up all the warehouse space around Denver before RJ Reynolds and Phillip Morris get it all. cha chingggg
I do every day ;]
