Yankee,
What are your thoughts as to why Kim is using other mills?
Thx
“Under that base effort we scaled up the production of one of our existing transgenic silkworm strains to produce enough silk thread for a set of ballistic test packages called shoot packs.”
One of our strains? Not DS? I believed the shoot packs were to be made of DS. If it is DS, why didn’t he say DS?
“im predicting news tomorrow..i can smell it..”
I often suspected that you and banana are the same person.
That is correct! Just have to add “quality & consistency” to that so that the people that love to argue won’t. It’s really quite comical when those two argue the mass production topic.
Just like in the past, I don’t think that Kim would tell us about this if he didn’t think he could fix it, or already has.
Warwick must have been working with the batch and said what is this crap.
Looks like a problem with consistent quality. Oh boy....
There is an email from Kim
It has always seemed that KT does not care one bit what the share price is.
There are two possible explanations for that if it is the case.....
Either that he is perfectly happy with what he is compensated as is
or
Kim is so confident in what the company is doing and he knows that one day the share price will be adjusted accordingly.
I cross my fingers that it is the latter.
“Wow! That explains a lot. So the CEO of KBLB was an equity trader (aka stock trader). So he knows the ins and outs of the stock market (like the back of his hand) and knows exactly how to "craft" a stock to look good.”
One thing that doesn’t explain is why he can’t comprehend why the share price is what it is.
“KBLB decided against it, for the time being.”
Smart move in my book. I am completely against taking our production there at this point. If there are enough influential people in Vietnam that don’t want us there, and have been able to halt the project for this long, what is to stop a sabotage once we are able to gain approval?
I sure hope that plan B is a lot further along than we have been told.
I know someone that’s been anxious to back up his truck and gladly scoop up the cheap shares that anyone wants to get rid of.
“We are well beyond knowing it can be mass produced.”
Is this a joke? Let me guess.....it’s being stored in the empty warehouses on WM property.
The answer is NOT when we get Vietnam approval, it will be a contract with a well known name, possibly the army.
The question is......how many days, months or years are we away from the day that we wake up to the press release that is going to make us smile and yell “HOLY $HIT, KIM FINALLY DID IT!” and make us feel like we are holding winning powerball tickets? He has led us to believe several times that that day is right around the corner.
“I am astonished this is holding 4 cents with the missed timeline of the shoot packs AGAIN with no official word about it.....”
Agreed, but the sp decline will continue into the 3’s without some promising news in the near future.
I am going to give him 7-10 days before I start reducing my position.
“Don’t even have that as that was monster silk which is DOA.”
You will have to change your name if DS has the same fate as MS.
“Dragon Silk is the best we've got. How do we know they can even make something better?”
We don’t even know that DS can be mass produced.
Now we know that Kim got the names of our silks from a company called Buggy Foods!
“The fibers for the base contract with the US Army shootpacks have been processed and delivered to Warwick Mills. We expect that the shootpacks will be delivered to the Army, in December.”
This is from the Q3 newsletter. So it was confirmed last October that the silk had been delivered to Warwick, that wasn’t the problem. The problem is the second part of the quote.
Oh wait, Kim included “we expect”. Takes him off the hook!
I guess I’m not sure if Kim saying “in December” is worse than his status quo of “we’ll keep you updated as things progress”, and then never hearing a peep about it again.
Thanks Bob, that gave me a good laugh.
“Regarding your ongoing question about shoot packs. As described in our public statements we have shipped silk to the contractor who is preparing the shoot packs. We are awaiting confirmation of their handling of the material and will issue a status update when we have information. Hopefully soon.”
“As described in our public statements....”
That’s a laugh. They have made plenty of public statements that don’t mean spit.
Kim claimed 4th qtr delivery, there was no 4th qtr delivery. Conclusion........another f’ing problem with the silk!
Thanks Truth.......you must own more shares than I do.
“kim needs to address this situation..silence will not do..”
Kim thinks silence is golden. He didn’t find it necessary to address the issue, or failure, of delivering shoot packs in the 4th qtr. He claimed to have a handful of “exciting “ announcements to make regarding the army contract during the 3rd & 4th qtrs. Not sure what they were, but I was less than thrilled. There is a very long list of issues to be addressed, but I agree, the Vietnam issue can’t be ignored(so we think). I didn’t think the shoot pack failure could be ignored.
Other posters have said emails are not getting answered, I have the same complaint. I emailed Ben a month ago, then waited a week before I forwarded the email to Jon, and complained about not getting a response. No response from Jon either. I was very cordial and didn’t ask for the fried chicken recipe either.
Houston, we have a problem.
On TDA the OS count shows 14m more than it did earlier in the week
I never believed that Kim was deceiving until this revelation that M4N posted.
I believe that Kim stated several months ago (possibly over a year) that another country is chomping at the bit to get us in there.
Thanks for posting M4N. Looks like that unless we get some volunteers to eat some of our monsters and live to tell about it, we can kiss the thought of producing in Vietnam goodbye.
I sure hope that Kim immediately moved on to plan B production site after he received this response.
Didn’t know if this had been posted before.....

“Legal framework anyone? This report conflicts with what Kim claims has been going on in VN regarding "final approval".”
Outstanding find M4N! Either Kim hasn’t been honest with shareholders, or Vietnam has been stringing along a naive CEO. Either way, it paints a dark picture.
What do you mean? It’s moved 30% in 6 months.
Great, it appears that Kim fumbled in the red zone again. He just can’t understand why the company is so undervalued. Hmmmm, quite the mystery. Looks like there will be quite the opportunity to back the truck up over the next few weeks.
Thanks for the insight.
Yankee,
Some time before October 31, all of the fiber had been delivered to WM. If there weren’t any unforeseen “snags”, do you have an educated guess as to how long WM would take to make the shootpacks?
Thanks
I hope Kim has been working on other things this week besides that.
Did everyone get the email from Kim?
Sure doesn’t. That’s how kblb chart would look if it jumped to .25, I just didn’t know it was ok to promote other stocks on this board.
That doesn’t look so great. That company has 1/100 of the OS that kblb has. Better, but nothing to try and sell here.
I haven't heard anything, good or bad, but I'm confused as to why the Company hasn't followed up. I've been trying to contact Jon Rice, but after a brief conversation upon his return, I haven't been able to speak with him this week, which is probably the byproduct of international travel. I'll reach out to him about your email and contact you as soon as I receive a response.
Best regards,
Ben Hansel

Subject: U.S. Army
Good morning,
In the Q2 newsletter it was written more than once that there are several exciting announcements pertaining to the army contract to be shared in the 3rd & 4th quarters. Here we are into the 4th quarter without hearing anything. One might draw the conclusion that things are not going as planned. Do you have anything, good or bad, that can be shared?
Thanks in advance.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As you can see, that was from the 10th.......never heard back.
I don't think a Vietnam green light will do much at all for the share price. Maybe a jv announcement with a big name will do something, but there isn't even proof we can make large amounts of high quality transgenic silk right now. A Vietnam announcement won't change that. We are several months away from anything good possibly coming out of Vietnam, if ever.
Not sure why people think Vietnam will be our savior, not near term anyway.
What we need is army news.....like the shoot packs are outstanding, here is 40 million more dollars.......something along those lines. Until something good comes from the army front, the sp will probably continue to drop. FOCUS ON THE ARMY!
Maybe they finally gave up on Nam.
I think Texas is just for farming.
