Doc, I just don't believe that a company would be so transparent about their intentions regarding a (as of now) federally illegal substance. Self-funding will take time, and maybe CBIS indicated this to keep some powers-that-be on their leash thinking that the company will need to raise a lot of money first; then, BAM! an investor funds FDA process..... Seems like a good way to keep ones opponents off balance and in the dark.
Maybe this is the poker player in me coming out, haha; but, I believe some at CBIS are well versed enough with advanced strategy that releasing their pure intentions to the public wont happen. (IMO, this is a good thing)
Thanks, I did not remember seeing it in a PR.
I am sure that is the way CBIS would like to fund the FDA process, but if an investor came in and said, "Here is the money, lets start trials immediately." - I don't think they would turn that down (assuming the details of the deal were not severely working against CBIS).
Wasn't the -fund FDA themselves/not use investor- information posted by a certain member here after they spoke with Kane?
If that is the case, I would not consider that being made public by CBIS.
Yes, I know great things are coming; but, we need some little victories in the meantime.
Same here...
Hopefully they have something to turn this around.
If the news has no substance it will do more harm than good. If they have nothing significant to report they should remain silent.
Should CBIS release another, "CBIS supports Grateful Dead fan's facebook page to legalize marijuana" this thing is gonna drop like a rock.
Why do you feel the company owes investors nothing? Is it really too much to ask for the slightest amount of follow through?
I did not say that the PRs were completely worthless, just that I expect a resolution to something (I don't care what it is). If CBIS were so worried about the DEA, why would they PR the crap out of new deals, acquisitions, treatment center purchases, pictures of MMJ oil healing tumors, etc... ?
My point is simple: Finish something, CBIS. Show me that your company can carry an idea to a finished product.
PR about purchases in Europe, no follow up; PR about A&E, no follow up; PR about treatment center purchase, no follow up; PR about product line roll-out, no follow up... And on, and on.
Regardless, CBIS needs to concentrate on building investor confidence based off of their company's personal accomplishments rather than piggyback on the industry.
I believe in the company, truly; however, they are starting a lot and finishing nothing.
I would rather they keep their mouths shut until they can announce the completion of something (anything). I am long with CBIS, but I am sick of reading PRs about how they support some politicians pro MMJ comments or that they are in the pre/final stages of negotiations for a acquisition/documentary/etc... .
Tell us about an accomplishment, CBIS. PLEASE!
cbis going to $5.00
How the heck did that happen?
Are you also really an elephant?
Uhhhh... It was more like .11 and dipped into the .07s. You bragged about getting out at .14, then called for the bloodbath around .11; completely forgetting that the stock was holding an 800%+ gain since February.
I'd say your predictions were quite a bit off. Now, two weeks later, you claim to be long.... Just an odd 180. Good luck, though.
So, are you ever going to address your "bloodbath" predication from the last couple of weeks?
HAMMER: Can you get an email out to Cramer to confirm/deny if Cheryl is real?
Welcome, Cheryl.
You seem intelligent enough that you will quickly weed out those infesting this board with negativity.
Thank you for all your hard work advancing the MMJ cause, and I hope to see you around often.
Why would an MM know anymore than anyone else?
Hopefully CBIS releases a PR announcing purchase of the treatment center today. I am long here, but I think they have gone about releasing treatment center purchase info in a terrible way.
Don't say a "few days" if you don't mean a few days; as an investor I don't want to argue semantics with the company.
Just an idea: Why not ignore the PMs from those "attacking you" rather than subject the entire board to your chest thumping?
If you refuse to rest until the entire internet sees your point of view, well, you're going to be very busy for the rest of your life.
I do not need to send an email asking if GA investing in CBIS will violate a fabricated code of ethics.
Truth passes through three phases:
First it is ridiculed.
Second it is fiercely and violently opposed.
Third, it becomes self-evident.
— Arthur Schopenhauer
If you wait until all the facts are out there, than you probably wont make any money on the stock.
What ethics code would the investment violate? I see absolutely no reason why a patient (former or current) could not invest in the company that treated (or is treating) their condition.
Sorry, cant answer that for you. Only Student could help you out with the answer.
Well, congrats on the $65.
If it does not come will you discontinue sharing your prophecies with us?
The PRs this week were not huge, they were simply updates about progress. When substantial PRs hit this stock has multiple 30%+ days in a row.
I guess management has some respect for the patient instead of looking at them as a breathing dollar sign. These are real people suffering from cancer, not pawns to use in an attempt to satisfy penny stock bashers on the internet.
Obviously, a business has the main goal to make money; but, some businesses actually believe that the benefit they provide clients with is just as important as their profit (the two eventually become dependent on one another).
I bet if the cancer patients knew that their reluctance to release their personal medical information was preventing bashers from achieving a 20% gain today, they would release their records immediately.
This is the best post ever, lol...
Thanks for the laugh.
This so called critic thinks that Michael Moore is more fair to people that oppose his views in his documentaries than the folks that made Chronic Future? Bill Goodykoontz pretty much lost all credibility once he expressed that view (because it is impossible to be more one-sided than Michael Moore).
Also, Goodykoontz, seems like a hack that is in Jan Brewers pocket or owes her something. Bill complains that Brewer was painted as some kind of maniac, and not allowed to explain her position; money, unfounded religious views and political pressure are her reasons for opposing the use of medical marijuana. Mr. Goodykoontz thinks it would actually help her to explain her position, lol.... Nice!
* My above views of Michael Moore are not politically motivated, I enjoy his doc's; but, being objective is not present in them.
You're not entitled to the patient's personal medical file, and the release of anything is completely dictated by the patient (not CBIS hiding info).
If the biopsy was posted and, for privacy, the names of the physician and patient were blacked out (as well as the facility name), would you still have a problem with it? I imagine you would.
It seems as though the only way you would believe the results is if they happened to be your own. Hopefully, you are never in that situation.
When you actually have enough evidence to believe in the company you wont be able to afford the stock.
IMO, the report is not really all that important at this point. They will become important for FDA purposes, because they obviously have to be legitimate; but, I don't feel that the general public is entitled to that ex-cancer patients private documentation.
The people that make the biggest stink about "Where's the report? This is all fluff with no report." etc..., are the ones that wont be satisfied even when a report is produced. Then they switch to, "Why are the names blacked out? This is BS. They probably doctored these photos up." etc... . See what I am getting at?
The report being released is at the sole discretion of the patient, not CBIS. I am sure the claims will be substantiated in the future, but right now it's only available to the people that matter.
Fair enough. The biopsy could be not showing for multiple reasons
1. The patient did not give permission to have their personal information blasted all over the internet.
2. CBIS is working on getting it posted to their site.
3. CBIS was recently doing some work to their website, and there may be complications with getting the update posted.
etc...
Gomez stated that Kane told him the biopsy had NOT been done, and that he did not know when it would be. That is not vague; a vague answer would have been, "While I appreciate your interest, I am not at liberty to release any medical information about our patients at this moment."
Gomez flat-out lied about Kane's response.
What makes you privy to another human beings personal medical evaluations? If you believe that CBIS is making this stuff up, just sell and get out of the way.
Lol, probably. Talk about destroying what little credibility that guy (Gomer) had left...
Just keeping the stock on radar until 04/05/2012.... I don't expect to see a jump in PPS from the recent release.
Same here..... BORING...
Yes, totally hilarious.
What could someone not find funny about a person continuing to suffer from cancer, and a bunch of investors (that truly believe in a company working for the health of all people) losing money?
I am not really concerned about the names being blacked out; CBIS and the medical professionals involved are subject to HIPAA. Also, I can understand the patient not wanting their identity revealed. The press hounding them and asking personal questions could be a real problem.
Do you realize that you are inversely proportionate to the pumpers? Therefore, just as meaningless to the pps by your own definition...
