A stock is only a winner if you sell it for more than you paid for it. Isn't that why people invest in stocks - to make money? For some reason, this one seems to have a cult-like following. People buy it, hold it, and attack anyone and everyone who questions ANYTHING about the company, the management, or the stock itself. Every time the price goes up, there is pumping, cheering, and squeals of delight. Then, when it goes down, there are impassioned pleas for others to buy more shares...false predictions...false promises...pretend 'secret' knowledge of some unkown upcoming event which will make them all instant millionaires. And this cycle repeats itself over and over again. When and how it will end, nobody knows. After all the predictions from the company and posters here have fallen flat, how can anyone really believe Baltia will amount to anything. Even if they do manage to start revenue flights, they are so poorly run, they'll probably fall flat on their faces withing 6 months. Once the big shareholders start to dump, those who have been cheering this stock for years will be out in the cold - and out of all the money they put in...maybe then they will finally admit this stock is a loser...
I wonder how many of those late filing pinkie companies have been in business for 25 years and have never generated a penny in revenue?
What a surprise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is this the big promised surprise from Baltia?
Notification That Quarterly Report Will Be Submitted Late (nt 10-q)
Oh no, that’s not really a surprise...oh darn....
“The Company needs additional time to prepare its financial records to ensure compliance with all regulations, and to file its quarterly report Form 10-Q because the Company's accountant has not yet completed his required review and reports. Attempting to complete these records prior to the prescribed deadline would entail unreasonable effort and expense.”
Maybe it’s time to fire that useless accountant and hire somebody that can get the job done. Wait a minute - didn’t they just do that?
Like it was going to be done June 12?
Like it was going to be done back in April?
Maybe it will be done before the end of the year - if the parts come in?
Baltia Booth at the Air Show……………………………….
Attendee: So, this is America’s newest airline – hey, where is your plane – I’d like to see it.
Baltia: Well, it isn’t here - the road was too narrow to tow it here. Would you like to buy some stock?
Attendee: Why didn’t you just fly it here?
Baltia: Well, it’s not quite ready to fly yet – we’re waiting for some parts to come in. How about buying some stock?
Attendee: So, you’re claiming to be America’s newest airline, but your plane can’t fly?
Baltia: Well, we’re not exactly certified to fly yet, anyway. But, we’re having a very good deal on our stock right now, are you interested?
Attendee: Wait a minute…let me get this straight – you’re not certified to fly, you’re plane is incapable of flying, yet you’re calling yourselves America’s newest airline and you want me to buy your stock – are you crazy?
Baltia: …like a fox…er...I mean rooster. Hey, we’ve been doing this for 25 years now, so don’t try to tell us our business. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’d like to talk to the gentleman behind you – he looks like a serious, intelligent investor…hey buddy – wanna buy some stock?
Do you really think it's going to drop 30% today? I wouldn't think it will be down more than 18%...but you never know with this stock.
Anyone with half a brain can see through this ruse...
1.) They have already selected their employees (or at least the ones to satisfy current needs)
Note the carefully chosen words here - “selected” as opposed to “hired” their employees.
2.) Trainings have ALREADY started. Several Trainings are COMPLETED.
Only one has been completed - the aircraft dispatcher classroom training. The initial cadre training, which began in November and was supposed to take 7 weeks is only partially completed. The simulator training portion has yet to begin.
3.) Stocks go Up AND Down (especially after 230% run up in a week).
And sometimes when they go down, they stay down. Don’t forget, this is only a crummy penny stock - it can go bust at any time, and you lose everything.
4.) No Flight Operations YET, So no Revenues YET (this is what FAA Certification is about)
They haven’t had any revenues in 25 years, why should they start now? FAA certification is a sales technique and not necessarily a goal of this company.
5.) Adequate Financing Secured. Several BLTA investors have committed themselves to make sure BLTA has enough Financing to Launch.
A mythical group of investors known only as the “Whales” are keeping Baltia afloat. Is there a single well known investor within the pod? Can anyone name 3 of them? OK, how about one?
6.) Baltia turned down several forms of toxic financing. BLTA financing company themselves, via Private Placement which they control (not some NY institution). This is common knowledge for every BLTA investor since before 2007.
Another clever way of saying Baltia couldn’t get a loan...except from one of their staff.
7. All PP Shares are RESTRICTED Stock for quite a lenght of time.
Yeah, a whole year. Most of the shares held by Baltia management has been held for many years, and can be dumped at any time.
Why is it that any post that portrays Baltia as the scam they really are considered nonsense?
"It is almost a no brainer: shares puchased today are going to be 100% fold more valuable comes the end of the summer."
100% fold more valuable comes the end of the summer. What the hell does that mean? On September 22, a share of BLTA will be worth approximately one nonillion percent more than it is today? Maybe you meant to say a share will be worth 3 cents. By then, all the excitement will be over, and the stock will be sub-penny once more. But then again, I'm not really sure what a share puchase is.
It was a cut & paste from the subject line of the PR posted here today - twice - they specified "Flight Crew Ground Training"...their words, not mine.
Baltia Air Lines Announces Completion of Flight Crew Ground Training
Was this the 7 week course that started back on November 11th? Maybe they meant to say 7 months. Not bad for Baltia - maybe the inaugural flight will happen in 7 years...nah - I doubt it...more like never...
Great post, Darth!!!
FAA approval??????????????????????????????????????????
Yeah, I'm sure Igor has to get permission to take a crap from the FAA, too. Ha, ha, ha, haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yankee Air Museum............................
Oh, how apropos!!!!! Baltia's antique aircraft is being put in a museum!!!! Just where it belongs!!!!
Baltia's Initial Cadre Of Pilots Begin Training....
This 7 week course which began on November 11th has yet to be completed, so don't get too excited about all the recent announcements. The maintenance hasn't been completed, either. Stick around for a while - you'll soon learn that Baltia never finishes ANYTHING on time.
And no, they are not in Phase 3...
Oh wait - I may have missed one...............
Check out post #7306 (2/10/10)...
“Baltia WILL fly this year.”
“There is NOTHING to keep Baltia from getting the FAA resources it needs to be in the air this year - and long before the end of the year. “
WELL - THAT didn’t happen either, did it???
"We are talking about the current certification process - in Michigan, which did not begin until about 18 months ago with submission of their application."
No, we are not - WE are talking about the total time this has been going on. You said, “The formal certification process that is currently underway/taking place, began about 15 months ago.” You didn't say anything about THIS time, or MICHIGAN, or ACCEPTANCE. Therefore, you are INCORRECT.
On April 29, 2012 you said, "Baltia's certification is well underway." How can that be, if it only started 15 months ago? Were you lying? Or didn't that time count? How many years has Baltia been trying to get certified?
“The formal certification process that is currently underway/taking place, began about 15 months ago.”
15 months? That would put the start date around March 2013, wouldn’t it? I think it’s been going on longer then that. I think it’s been going on WAY longer than that! Check out post #13302 (4/29/12)...
“Baltia's certification is well underway. We will soon learn of progress that is being made, IMO.”
Unless this guy was lying...of course, you can never tell...the certification process has been going on for more than 15 months.
What happened to: "...before the end of May?"
...just had to ask...
I'm calling BS on this post - the FAA will NEVER give out that kind of information...over the phone or otherwise.
*****SUB-PENNY*****
...0.0075 tomorrow?
$.01...beginning of the end???
I was wondering if anyone else noticed (LOL)...
The SPIN DOCTOR says..........................................................................................................
News Flash - April 18, 2014 - Baltia Airlines, America’s newest airline declares bankruptcy!!!
The Spin Doctor says...”Totally meaningless! That’s what all good companies do - go out of business. That is a sign of great management and leadership. The good news is, that intelligent investors can now buy stocks at ridiculously low prices, hold onto the shares for 25 years and hope to become rich beyond their wildest dreams!”
Do you think Baltia will be able to pull up in time...or crash and burn?
Seems to me, the first honest accountant they hired just quit and is calling them liars!
Baltia flying has been a possibility for 25 years. Baltia could possibly fly in June...although I kind of doubt it. It's possible Baltia will fly in 2015, but I doubt that too. It's also entirely possible that Baltia will never fly. Posting articles which pretend to be something they are not does nothing to bolster Baltia's credibility. They are only an attempt to suck in new blood and raise the pps - which obviously doesn't work, as evidenced by the current stock price, which has been stagnant for quite some time.
You forgot to include the disclaimer in your cut and paste. Prospective investors have a right to know that the article you posted is just another one of the Brainiac's imaginary BS fairy tales. Here - let me help you out!
Disclaimer: the author has not been compensated by, nor is affiliated with Baltia Airlines in any way, shape, or form. ...opinions - everybody's got one...
I’m off base with the truth? What part of my post was non-factual? What PR are you reading? The PR is announcing that the aircraft has entered “scheduled maintenance inspection” - where does it say that two checks are being done? Where does it say ANY checks are being done? Here you go - due some DD and read it again...
YPSILANTI, Mich., April 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Baltia Air Lines (OTCBB: BLTA) announced today that its B747 aircraft has entered scheduled maintenance inspection in preparation for its operations. Baltia is America's newest airline currently undergoing air carrier certification. Baltia's base of operations is at Willow Run Airport in Ypsilanti, MI. For more information on Baltia visit the company web site at www.baltia.com.

Recent cnn reports - is that where you do your DD? Those bogus BS i-reports written by someone named brainiac? Is that where you get all your information - i-reports? My guess is the author has a bunch of BLTA he wants to unload and is trying to get the pps up...by whatever means he can.
Nice to see so many cheering the latest PR as being such great news. A number of people are referring to the latest news as a C Check. The PR doesn’t say that - it refers to “...scheduled maintenance inspection...”...it doesn’t say anything about a C Check. Now, if this is the “Heavy” check originally scheduled for the end of May, it will be an EXTREMELY thorough INSPECTION of the aircraft. The trouble with inspections is, sometimes the inspected parts or components are accepted and sometimes they are rejected. If rejected, a determination must be made as to repair, or replace. Depending on the cost associated with the repair or replacement, this could result in scrapping the plane. No sense pouring millions of dollars into this old rust bucket. This plane is 35 years old - who knows what will be found when they start taking her apart. Bottom line - what will Baltia do if the results of the inspection indicate that it would be cost prohibitive to salvage this aircraft? Buy another plane? Lease a plane? Then revise all the manuals (here we go again), start training all over again after the manuals are approved...etc. Do they even have a contingency plan? What do you think that would do to the timeline? Has Baltia ever completed a task on time?
"...but BLTA will never be available below .03 again. By the end of the week, I predict BLTA will be over .05 and heading towards .10."
The stock is below .03. The week has ended and the pps is not over .05 and heading towards .10. The stock price is now as .0224 and I predict it will be sub-penny again very soon.
Thank you for that wonderful explanation. This is from the FAA site - maybe they're confused too...
Before moving on to Phase 3 of the certification process you must meet all Gate 2 (PDF) requirements.
Gate 2 Requirements
To begin the third phase, the following Gate 2 requirements must be completed:
• FAA acceptance or approval of all manuals and Element design
• Completion of training for all Phase 3 participants
• Revision of Schedule of Events
• Revision of the Compliance Statement, if necessary
When all gate 2 requirements are complete, you are ready to begin Phase 3 - Performance
Assessment.
...doesn't look like completion of training is an option here.
You're absolutely correct - clarity is needed here. "Previous phase was design." (???) Baltia is still in the design phase...unless I missed a very important PR, they have not satisfied all Gate 2 requirements - therefore, they cannot be in Phase 3 (proving phase). Baltia is still in the design phase - that is the current phase, not the previous phase. FACT.
Then you shouldn't have a problem verifying the following info (with verifiable facts, if you don't mind):
"With certification estimated to be just a few weeks away, it seems that after a hard fought battle to become a certified international airline, Baltia is ready to begin flying passengers in 2014."
"There is not a single airline in the United States that can remotely match the kind of growth Baltia will see over the next five years. To reiterate: with a trading multiple of at least 10, Baltia should easily see a minimum of $1.00 per share within the coming months."
"Conservatively, Baltia will generate a profit margin of 25%, which is 1,000% higher than JetBlue’s margins."
"...Baltia will soon be trading at least 1,000% higher than its current valuation by its first flight."
"A flight from JFK to St. Petersburg requires a connecting flight, and requires upwards of 30 hours of travel time."
"The current course of events seems to indicate that the company will be certified by the end of April..."
Take your time and do a nice job.
You must be replying to someone else’s post. I never mentioned anything about the company’s decision to sell stock rather than go to a lender (high interest or otherwise).
If I follow your logic correctly, you think Baltia is a good investment because they have little debt. May I point out to you that Baltia has been unable to succeed as an airline after trying for 25 years. Therefore your logic is flawed.
I fail to see the analogy between American Airlines and Baltia. Baltia has never been an airline - they have never flown a passenger. I’m pleased to hear that you bought many shares of American and are now rich beyond imagination. I would suggest you refrain from throwing that money away on useless stock.
I assume you meant to say you hold one million shares of BLTA, not American, correct? At today’s market close, all those shares are worth a total of $33,300. Having read some of your previous posts, I know you paid more than .03 for some of them. I hope when you go to the bank, it isn’t to take out a high interest loan.
I challenge you to disprove it. There has been no progress - only false progress reports written by fiction writers. There is absolutely no valid reason for the sudden increase in volume other than manipulation - I know it and so do you.
Baltia has issued two PR's this year. I have read them. I have done my own DD - they have been trying to announce a flight schedule for nearly 25 years (LOL).
BLTA hit $.14 in 2007.........., .12 in 2008, .10 in 2009, .09 in 2010 (starting to see a trend here?), .06 in 2011, .04 in 2012 and 2013, now it closes a little over .03 and everybody gets excited? For what? This latest wave of mass hysteria was initiated by a series of fake press releases, written by an individual only identified as “the Brainiac”, whose only credentials are four i-reports, all of which were written to pump Baltia. Well chosen nic - like the hairy monster of Mexican movie fame who used his forked tongue to suck the brains out of his victims, Baltia tries to suck the brains out of potential investors...they like ‘em dumb! These i-reports rapidly spread to other questionable web sites, and were highly touted here and on other forums. Then, a conglomerate of investors began buying and selling each other’s shares in a attempt to show trading volume and suck unwary investors into buying their garbage. What a great scam!!! Careful they don’t suck you in!
Last we heard, the training was to be completed 12/27/13 - it’s almost March and not finished yet? I’m sure Baltia has a good excuse.
There may be a B-747 in maintenance, but it’s not Baltia’s B-747. Last we heard, 706 was towed out to the parking lot, and that was back in January. We haven’t heard (from a reliable source) that it has budged from that spot since. I just saw a video which verifies that it is still in the parking lot. There is no maintenance being done. The are no required checks being done. Why the misleading information?
Last we heard, 706 was scheduled to go in for the heavy check in May...I believe near the end of May - and that was a start date. How did it suddenly jump ahead of the other planes scheduled? How is it supposed to be completed before its scheduled start date?
Kinda figured that, but thanks for getting back.
So what did the FAA have to say?
Read the post I was replying to...
