If what you quote is indeed backed up by data, MZEI can now come out from under a rock. Strange that they would be so adverse to press and news releases and social media.
Agreed. An increase of 250 million seems way more reasonable.
Excellent headline!
Finally some stirings of creativity from the governance! Yes, the text needs some editing but it's OK, and several other angles hopefully can be developed in future press releases, let's hope there are more soon.
And PRN newswire isn't the only outlet around, how about EIN, or PR Fire out of Britain, etc., and science outlets and industry-specific venues?
The guys running the shareholders' meeting better have steady nerves.
Will the parachute (please) open?
Thank you Zeppo. We all need your good efforts to lend clarity to this complex situation.
Let's say the shareholders hand them yet another, well, what amounts to a credit line - probably the last one possible, or will they ask for Two Billion shares next time around?
What will they do with it?
Will any of it benefit shareholders?
Our group agrees the preferred shares have to go. Also we second the current opinion that compensation to the previous administration be sharply modified.
Saying NO to the Billion share extension might force the company to liquidate, which may be, at this point, beneficial to all investors.
I thank you for your wisdom and I take note. Please understand that dealing with frustrations about what could have been, versus what is, dismally, may be difficult to bear.
As to solutions, first suggestion is offered to focus on the E.U.
It is a rich and sophisticated market which should have been tapped long ago. But the thought is that the current management, as the past one, are way too U.S.-centric to go there with any confidence and lack of trepidation.
Even with your comments, you are being kind to prior management, one that is fully responsible for this shameful debacle.
There are some very serious scientists responsible for this company's evolution. Their reputations are on the line. What are they saying about this fiasco?
Amazing that over all these years - decades actually - no one in MZEI management or BOD seems to be the least bit embarrassed by any and all the goofy things they did.
They should not take it for granted that the SHs will approve new shares. They have to begin a credible convincing job starting now.
Our Group respectfully reminds the Medizone management that the first responsibility of a public company, by law, is to its Shareholders.
With no news out and at two cents, no investor will venture any funds and those paychecks will soon dry up
"...milking it dry...
Yes, it's called comfortably living off other people's money
"7 full time employees.. wow. and they all are getting paid?"
Yes, happily so, with your diluted money!
Post it in German, some of us on the Board can handle it.
Yes, all true.
Yet, but if you spent the same energy on the healing of diabetic wound ulcers and preventing the amputations that derive from them - something Medizone had a patent on - you'd have the opposite reaction.
Nerve agents are complex molecules that have double, even triple chemical bonds that are easily broken by ozone exposure. Once broken apart, the agent is no more.
The new nerve gas attack in Britain is in fact a perfect application for AS. Note that the deadly substances can last for months on objects. Even the ambulances taking care of the poisoned have been encased in protective shields. AS ozone/peroxide mist would rapidly oxidize all contaminants.
Agreed. The technology has potential, in many human and veterinary sectors. But so little of investor monies have actually been devoted to it.
What has to stop is the lack of company direction. There is no clarity, no chartered course ahead. But, on the other hand, there is expert deftness in stock deals, and whose pockets are being lined? ...not the investors! And they are the ones, by law, who embody the primary responsibility of a public company.
A hunch the SEC is watching...
Let’s face it. Medizone started decades ago with a mission to integrate ozone science into medical humanistic endeavors, hence the name.
Now, it is a souped-up cleaning company whose real name should be Cleanzone. It is on a rocky road littered with regulatory obstacles.
A swell of opinion: Stop 3-card monte stock illusions that invariably screw the shareholder.
Cut all losses and SELL the thing to the highest bidder now.
Some 20 years of high company vision...
"They exist hand to mouth, month by month."
You mean "pocket to pocket!
The graph looks like a flat line on a patient.
Agreed, cut the losses and clear the board, and the Board.
Chinese ozone companies are moving forward:

Thanks Terry for your interesting story and your bet, it's almost impossible to see clearly in this situation. Most are focused on the FDA as salvation, perhaps so.
As several have pointed out, why is the FDA now involved since there is no patient contact with the AS process? True, but there is contact with life-saving equipment. Hoping to make a splash, MZEI advertised the total disinfection of operating theaters, but they did this without appreciating that higher order regs applied. They should have stuck with patient rooms, then applied for ORs later.
The other patent they have is USPTO patent # 6,073,627, “Apparatus for the application of ozone/oxygen for the treatment of external pathogenic conditions.”
Development of this patent would have propelled MZEI into the 20 billion world wound healing market. Lamentably former management never paid patent maintenance fees and it has 3 years to go.
Many entries on this Board are sophisticated, insightful and valuable. If listened to, they could have offered workable solutions. But it is all as in a vacuum. Doubtful management ever bothers reading any of it.
Much press and talk about the coming "Klebsi Plague" from China, that landed in the US, allegedly 100% fatal.
At least two companies are known to us with the same scenario.
Yes, that would be a clean break from tradition.
Yes, and despite all wishes for all things positive, the reality is that we are seeing a MZEI luge event before the Olympics.
Great questions!
Nevertheless the FDA shows yet once again an ability to stymie US companies in their progress. Instead of helping , encouraging , working with, they, in this case, are contrarian and inhibitory - this time however, with potentially tragic consequences relative to the public health needs of our population.
Complete nincompoops? Even before patents were granted they should have applied to all organisms: UL, CE, FDA, EPA etc, just basic forethought.
Simple. That class of bugs can shut off their breathing and go into anaerobic respiration for two to three days. This has been known to German researchers for decades (they studied roaches). If the administration of the time had done due diligence research they would have saved themselves, and especially Medizone, precious time and $$$.
