Yea, they havent done any advertising. I'll probably be ordering 240 filters next week though, just to pawn off on all my smoker friends. Pretty confident I'll be able to get about 10 people to jump on board. Now if a couple of them pass it on to a couple of people...
If everyone on this board did the same, it wouldn't actually take that long to sell out this new batch.
I agree. Refreshing.
I'm relatively new to pennies(been trading for a few years though), but so far I think a healthy dose of pessimism is what keeps you alive down here.
The flip side is, I haven't seen a product in pennyland that I've thought had as much potential as this(now that I know it exists and is legit).
It does sound a little silly, but Ihubbers really could help eat up 19,600 "cartons" relatively quickly. Personally, I think I'll be able to convert at least 10 people pretty easily. Extrapolate that out to other Ihubber's and their friends and we've got a nice gorilla marketing start.
Patience and optimism is just fine. Personally, I have the patience because I now know(finally) that the product is real and as good as I had hoped. However, good luck explaining that to the avg penny investor. On the average, I think impatience is almost a pre-req for trading pennies isn't it? Also, talking about listing on the NASDAQ is a little silly isn't it? Even under ideal conditions we are still probably years away, and I do mean ideal.
I didn't see his post as trying to push the stock down. He simply made a few observations. Both about the stock and the market in general. A comment doesn't need to be full of optimistic bs to be relevant. We have enough of that around here.
He is right about the amount of time it takes to sell out of this next shipment being important. He is also right about 3 weeks being a long time in the market. Although, I would say that more so for pennies than the market in general.
I really don't think it was a huge number. I don't think it really matters though. The way it looks to me, they would have sold out even if they had twice as much. Like a lot of other people keep saying, it was just a test run.
If you heard it was 1k units would it matter? What about 2k? Honestly, it's pretty meaningless at this point.
You guys are overseas right? Did you guys try to have your products shipped directly to you? I thought they weren't shipping internationally? Maybe you should try having them delivered to someone in the US who can send them over to you guys? If that's what you did just ignore this post.
Keep up the good work over there.
Even close. Everybody was wrong! Good.
Who was right? SFIO ran from .0017 to .086 in like a week? Now it has retraced a little more than 50% from the highs atm. I'd say that's pretty solid. Let's see what happens when distribution news comes out...
Yea, I would have ordered the deluxe myself.
Once again though, I think only selling the regular starter pack made more sense at launch. If you only have an initial test run of say 1000 coils and batteries, it is better to try and get them into as many different hands as possible. Obviously, people could simply order 2 regular starter packs, but I think less people were likely to do that. Also, it only meant more initial revenue if they did.
Is anyone really all that surprised that a stock that ran from .0017 to .086 in like a week had a 50% pullback? The fact that it's only pulled back this much is actually quite impressive is it not? Yes, without news there is a good chance it will trickle down a bit more. IMO though its pretty risky to try and time it considering we are most likley on the verge of some solid PR's/milestones from the company.
The deluxe kit is not just double everything. All you have to do is read the description. It is 2 batteries and 2 heating coils. The rest is the same as a regular starter pack.
They clearly had a small initial run. That being the case, it obviously makes more sense to sell the single starter packs first.
That depends on what they are listening to from the message board. If they listen to clowns screaming for a PR, then that is ridiculous. If they listen to reviews of the product, then that is a good thing.
Here's a quick second hand review:
Had the starter pack shipped to my brother because I knew I would be traveling around for a bit and wouldn't be there to get it anyway. He started chewing the gum about a year ago because he was sick of smoking but not ready to quit nicotine all together yet. He chews the gums quite a bit. His thoughts were as follows:
1. He could definitely feel the nicotine
2. He loved the filter
3. He stopped using it because it reminded him too much of actually smoking
4. He did say that he couldn't really feel the heat when taking a drag
In general he said that he thought there would definitely be a market for it. I liked that he said it reminded him too much of smoking. Clearly, being that close will be a good thing for a lot of consumers.
I'll post my review, as well as those of friends, early next week when I get back home.
I order a lot of stuff online myself these days. I can honestly say that it is not uncommon for a company to take a day or two to ship. They also tell you on the site that the item will ship in one or two days. They've been open for business for less than a week, I think they are doing just fine.
I believe you are right about the idea that people quitting would rather emulate a cigarette than chew on a piece of gum etc. However, as it stands right now, RE/AL can not be marketed that way. If the FDA calls it a tobacco product then that is what it is. No commercials etc. No plugging it as a quitting device.
The way that the FDA regulates it is all that matters.
Ahahahahah! Your first SFIO post was only 20 days ago(getoff.......)! I knew I needed to look into that. Wow, you are clearly the veteran. My 9 day stint posting is clearly inferior to yours(been involved with the stock since 2009, remember reading all the posts from the Mr. T guy bashing and BBB defending).
edit: This is, again, in response to words that have been deleted by the poster.
Once again people, you don't need to hear obnoxious claims and bs pumping to know that this is a solid stock. Do the math. Read posts from guys like eliteyoda. Now that the product has been launched, there is little doubt that this is a real company. There is no product like this in the world! There is no need to even bother reading posts from people claiming to know insider info from the company. All that does is promote dissappointment when it doesn't come to fruition.
Trust in the product, and trust in the company.
You just realized? It's painted on the webpage and you claimed to have ordered. It's also be talked about repeatedly on this board. You are clearly a reliable "Long".
If this board continues on this path, I'm selling all my shares.
They say clearly that it will be shipped within 2 days when you order. So 1+ day is nothing to get upset about. If you get to 2+ days let us know. Also, I shouldn't have to tell you that.
My sentiments exactly. I hold a pretty significant amount of shares with this company, but the ridiculous claims on this board make me want to bail. I would rather listen to obnoxious bashers any day than half the "pump" that gets posted on this board right now.
Not this AGAIN!
Other replies have mostly covered this, but I would have thought that the fact the "last updated" date on the top of the page would be a dead give away that SFIO couldn't really be listed. The updated date is 3 days before SFIO launched REAL. Think.
Nope. And anyone who even bothers answering isn't worth listening to.
Umm...Several Menthol filters?! None of the description sounds anything like what SFIO is actually selling?! For starters they don't sell menthol. If you're going to pump, can you at least do it right?
I've read a few of your posts before they got deleted. I have to say I'm not surprised they got deleted.
Not a bad thing at all. I didn't mean to imply it was. Just wanted to gauge the response. Personally, I ordered some as an investor. Assuming the product is the real deal, I should have no problem turning my order into orders from at least 5 more people. Hopefully that is the case with everyone else as well.
What percentage of the orders from the first 2 days do you guys think were from investors?
Ha, come on man. Do we really need a post that ridiculous?
No I do not think it is the best idea to launch of Friday afternoon. Mostly for the reason that they might have trouble fixing issues with the site if something goes wrong. Read the PR though. They are NOT launching yet. They are launching Monday.
Ha, I should have said....I doubt it, unless there is news.
Doubt it.
Until it does.
It's SFIO. I'm sure it will be delayed. If they say it's because of payment issues, I bet it's BS.
Ha. Big video games have millions of dollars in advertising pumping them months before launch. Not to mention most big games are part of a franchise. Let's not get silly.
Read the PR, not the headline. It actually states that the functionality(payment methods) has been added. It does not state that they are working on it.
"In addition to Paypal, other payment options have been added to the company's web site shopping cart, to satisfy anxiously awaiting customers. "
Read. Come on now.
People please stop saying this. The product was not released Monday. The Smokers Option became available again. It had been available for months. The REAL product is not out yet. When it does finally come out, it should be a show.
You're probably right. Let's hope that they actually follow through for once.
Given the history of this stock, I absolutely believe that news of the availability of product online will be great for the pps. I think there are a lot of people out there who still don't believe we will ever see an actual product on the market, and the only way to get over that is to actually put the product out there. I mean let's face it. We've been waiting on the product for years now.
