CVX upgraded at RW Baird (87.78)
PTR is down slighty, and so is the Hang Seng.
CVX (ChevronTexaco Corp) up another dollar after-hours. (Closed at 88.70) Announces repurchase of another $5 billion in common stock.
BR finished up 1.40 to close at 63.64, a record high.
"Buy PBR, sell the metals..." seems to work today. PBR is up almost 4%, but FCX and PD are 2-3% lower.
BR moves to a new all-time high (63.60). Other energy stocks moving up as well - BP, COP, you name it...
BR added to New High list. (63.50 high so far...)
FCX - Freeport McMoran slips to a session low (38.83, down 45 cents), followed by blurb...
Best Big Oil today is PBR. Up almost 3% to 33.26. FCX now under 39.
CEO up 1.04 points to 42.55; PTR up 0.53 cents to 50.33.
CEO and PTR up by 1-2% - early readings...
British Petroleum (BP) is 30 cents higher. If the stock stumbles over a point because of the "fire in Texas..." I'll buy more. (Closed yesterday at 51.18, a post-merger high)
For China fans, the Hang Seng closed up 0.4%. CEO and PTR rose...
Stockhouse confirms bullish trend in Energy and Gold. Better names produced higher prices. AVN_u.TO approaches $15 USD.

BP up another 1.12 points in premarket. (Sets a three year high.)
Nikkei closed down 0.2%, the Hang Seng rallied. (Up 1.7% to 12641).

Energy stocks in my port up to 2.24% higher. The one exception (PTR) is 10 cents above my buy price on Friday. If PTR works fifty cents higher, my 200 shares go with it.
No trading (yet) in PTR, but other oil and gas gains average 1+%.
Nikkei and Hang Seng closed down 0.5% apiece. FSTE and DAX up 0.6% each.
BP and SC advanced in European trading; BP to hold strategy meeting later today.
