Also noticed something about Goosen. All week around the greens he was using his wedge and doing a fine job. Sunday on the first few holes he was putting. I mean why change? I'm sure nerves were worse on Sunday but hay, nerves are gonna be there regardless of what club he chose. Just thought that was odd.
One thing that I found interesting was when Dottie Pepper said that Tiger was on the practice range constantly hitting knock downs with his wedge, and then once the round started he did nothing but try and hit it as high as he could, and it appeared, as hard as he could. As close as he was on alot of those holes, a knock down shot that takes that one hop and checks up would have been the play.
You know, I've been telling everyone that for awhile now. Tiger signed that huge contract with Nike and had to switch to their clubs. I'm sure he was convinced they could make a good club, and maybe it is, but bottom line is his playing started declining at that same time. And I honestly feel that if he had a chance to go back and do it over again, he would not be swinging those Nike knock-offs today. Wonder when that contract ends. LOL
Personally I love my Titleist DCI 962's.
Well.......I think..............that was kind of what I was saying.
Not really, I mean how many times have you went out one day (not knowing your handicap) and shot a 78 and then the next an 88 and didn't know what you did wrong. I mean that's just golf.
Coming as close as he has and not winning, sometimes takes a toll on a person. JMHO
Phil just blew it, after his first birdie of the day he just posted the dreaded snowman on the par 5 4th. Geeeeeesh
Players to watch that could cause many players to miss the cut might be Retief and Tiger. Both have potential to go low today.
Geeeez, guess my long shot Jimenez was a wasted pick. Just thought I would take a shot, maybe should of taken an American long shot. LOL.
No 280's yet on the tie-breaker? I thought we may see some as I honestly feel it may be hard to play 4 rounds on #2 this week under par. We'll see I guess. Personally I love seeing those guys struggle. Looking forward to Thursday.
Hey did you see that interview, Ben handled that very gracious and took the blame for being slow. What a gentleman. Hope that makes Rory feel like the POS that he is.
I agree 100%, I mean after that crap he pulled on 17 he went up to the tee and waited. What a chump. Don't you know Rory lost alot of fans there (if he had any) and Ben gained alot. Way to go Ben.
Sergio looks to be running away with it today. Ernie just doesn't seem to be on his game enough to make a run. IMHO
Phil Mickelson
Jim Furyk
Retief Goosen
Luke Donald
Miguel Angel Jimenez

I agree, he was always a favorate of mine. I liked the band that he and Peter Jake had, it was cool. I like any player that brings some life to the game, Fuzzy, John Daly to name a few.
Didn't know if you forgot or didn't know. And really didn't know how to mention it. Such a tragedy.
Honey, he died in a plane crash right after he won in 99
I am assuming you don't know about Payne Stewart?
Pinehurst Update.............
Last I heard officially, Pinehurst was having some problems with getting the rough up to US Open standards. Well, I thought I would give a very unofficial update of my own, since I am about 50 miles from the course and weather is very similar.
Well here goes.........It has been very hot for the last 5 or 6 days with thunderstorms every evening just about everywhere in the area. So, hot temps, and plenty of rain equals plenty of growing grass. Just for a reference, I cut mine Monday and it's ready to be cut again. Oh yea, for you northerners out there, cut means mowed, and grass, means lawn. LOL. OK, now I guess what I'm trying to say is, look for Open conditions to be every bit as hard as they want to make them, because weather conditions are perfect and the rough should be as high as ever.
Beautiful swing, just beautiful...........
Derfie, guess you can't expect everyone to understand your warped sence of humor. LOL
Stju..........You are really dreaming here if you think IBCS has any chance of having their programming broadcast on either XMSR or SIRI. What in hell would ever give you that idea? Oh, well maybe the PR. Well, not to burst your bubble, but those are not the only satalite broadcasters. As we know, IBCS is a satilite broadcaster so that reference could of been to any number of broadcasters. For you to assume XMSR or SIRI is, well, should I remind you of what it means to assume. Thats right, you make a ASS of U and ME. Well, not me in this reference because I know better. LOLOLOL
If I may say, that is very good news. Coming from the horses mouth that is. In my opinion of course.
I was thinking exactly the same thing fu. And we know her hate stems from her feeling over the gay bashing that she thinks went on. Hate is a very strong word, as I try to relate to my 10 year old daughter when she tells me she hates someone. But she is still learning things to say and not to say. I guess some people just never learn.
She got on my nerves watching the Big Break. She is not nearly as hot as she thinks she is. Give me Natalie Gulbis any day.
I wondered if Big Break III winner Danielle Aimee's untimely back injury was for real or not, and then I saw this. Hummmmmmmm

As in Woosie, LOL. What was that the British Open where the extra club in the bag happened. You would think that would be job #1 for any caddie.
In my opinion, the player who looks at his caddie and himself as a team with which to help make difficult decisions, is one up on the player who just wants a bag carrier.
I've been thinking about driving over for a day myself. I'm in Gastonia, just on the other side of Charlotte from Pinehurst.
Bottom line is, the pharmaceutical companies and the FDA have way too much power and control over our lives than most people could ever imagine. I wouldn't look for any of it to slow down as we're talking BIG, BIG money here.
On a more humorous note, every time I hear the disclaimer about the 4 hour erections, and seeking medical attention, I always wonder if that would be for me, or my wife. LOL
LMAO, I didn't even see the picture until after I jumped to conclusions. Good one
Is that right? I think that is pretty sad for him not to have the balls to play the shot that he thought he should play, and undoubtably blaming it on his caddie. And I still say his caddie did his job by putting Pate on the green less than 20 feet only needing 2 putts to win. He choked, bottom line.
I hope he don't expect any opinions out of this new one, LOL, cause I'm sure he'll be afraid to open his mouth.
Yep, also noticed Tiger has yet to make a bogey.
If I weren't a shareholder then I wouldn't care. I guess you don't keep up very well, do ya son?
CatDaryn, if I may ask, how about posting some proof that they are covered. Good luck.
Protected against a R/S? LOL, believe that if you want to, but in reality I very much doubt it.
If I were on the tour, I would want a caddie for more than to just carry the bag. Ultimately, the final word is always up to the player, but to have a caddie without an opinion on what I should do in situations like that would be a waste as far as I'm concerned.
Hey, if nothing else, the topic has stirred up some interesting discussion. LOL
