Whoever bought right at the close this afternoon - THANK YOU!!
Thanks SO much, KZMike, for posting that information from Andrew. Getting word on final NIJ approval would sure be a NICE Christmas present! With that impending information, and knowing that they took delivery of that new equipment and will be installing it, I can only think we'll finally be in production right after the first of the year! And won't 2012 be a very Happy New Year's indeed!!
PWron - don't they have to file current financials in order to remove the cautionary OTC restriction? I don't know when they plan to have those completed & submitted, but until they do, I don't think we'll see the Yield sign removed and OTC Current in its place. I can't imagine what the holdup is - everyone's been wanting updates on that so we can see some progress. Anyway, JMHO...
Well, the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away! We need the BORK Gods to shine down on us...momma needs new SHOES for Christmas (and a nice Earlex 5500 HVLP paint sprayer)! Ha! A GOOD press release would be very nice to see in the next week or so - I think that would do the trick. Dear BORK Gods...please help our CEO and his compadres get their equipment in and their plant up and running so we can start selling a LOT of much-needed materials and products. Thank you.
Very nice trading action right now - up +.13 so far. Shows that even a LITTLE bit of good news can go a long way! Hope we hold up here through the close! LONG ON BORK!!
I know BOTH people...they are NOT one and the same at all. This is not some conspiracy. I appreciate info JOHN11 is able to give us though, whenever he can.
Derek2534...OK, thanks for clarifying - however, you'll find on this board that if you're going to make a short statement post that says things like "BORK news out", people here are going to want you to give the information you're referring to or post links to it. No games, no spin, just the facts with supporting evidence. Thanks for coming on and good luck to you!

Bourque Industries (BORK) is a Tuscon, AZ materials science company dedicated to creating ultra high-performance super alloys using the Kryronization process.
Shares of Bourque Industries traded Tuesday in a range of $0.71 to $0.92 and closed at $0.91, a gain of 28% on 6 times the average daily volume.
There was no specific news related to today's price move.
Nice end to the day! Everything on my Watch List was in the green, with BORK leading the way with a close of $0.9055 - up 28.44%.
Good post, Flatcat - thanks.
JOHN11 - can you please take a look at Post #8191 by RockQQ? I guess if you were going to take the time to call JB or someone at BORK, this would be a pressing question that a lot of us would like to know about and should be easy to answer. It seems like a fairly easy fix to me as well to bring us to Current status. Thanks in advance...
Anyone see the recent Facebook post on Bourque's page about an hour ago? It reads:
"Great article from Inside Tucson Business! The piece does incorrectly state that Bourque has an ownership interest in SRATS, but we do continue to work closely on developing the next generation of military armored vehicles.
The Bourque team is working hard day and night to bring Kryron Terminator Armor to our men and women in uniform!"

Nothing really new here - just that they're letting us know they're still WORKING, which is good to know! But people are posting responses...
dbanks - I guess I'd rather be in a positive state of mind over my investment and this company and its potential, than to continually be in a negative state as you always appear to be in this board. If nothing else, it helps ME sleep at night and that's all I care about. You don't have to believe it, buy into it, or even reply to it. Really makes no difference to me at all and certainly doesn't affect my investment. I simply made a statement that I'm glad we ended upward of the day's low. Simple as that!
SO glad that day's over! Am hoping whoever was dumping is DONE! The upward trend at the end was sure nice to see...
JonETrader - totally agree with your opinion as well. I think once someone started selling in bigger chunks as they have recently, those old GPGI shareholders started seeing their "value" declining (and fairly rapidly over the past few days) so they jumped in there and figured they'd sell while they still could - particularly since they held on for SO many years with very little value to their positions. Can't say as I blame them. After SO many years of sitting on what they figured was worthless, then watching it soar upwards, only to see it drifting WAY down again would be nervewracking at the very least! How many rollercoaster rides can a person take?!
I'm not saying that necessarily that World markets are driving BORK down...I'm just saying that I believe a lot of people are cashing out on stocks, all stocks, because of uncertainty. I also agree with a lot of others on this board that those that got "cheap" shares are cashing in whenever they can, which also doesn't help our situation. Yep - pink sheets are always a gamble. I, too, wish I had sold when we were over $4 or $5! Oh well...holding tight for now...all I can do!
I have to believe that some of this selloff HAS to do with the world markets in general. With the Dow down over 300 pts right now, I think people are just cashing out on stocks and trying to save or accumulate whatever they can in CASH. As I look at my "watch list" - there are NO GREENS whatsoever...everything is RED. I'm also thinking this trend started weeks ago when Greece was in trouble and then Italy followed. Not to mention the fact that BORK is having its own issues with not being able to publish receipt of the NIJ Cert or contracts...that certainly doesn't help our situation. I think we just have to sit back and wait for everything to settle down - IF it will. KZMike, I agree that the unknowns with the Super Committee does NOT help the situation at all! Both sides of the aisle are contributing to this serious economic downtrend! UGH...I just want to wrap myself in a cocoon right now and wake up in 2012 where the SUN is shining once again! I can't bring myself to sell at these levels. I have to have faith that the company will march forward and get things DONE! Be LONG on BORK and pray we have a bright future...all we can do right now, I guess.
PWron - I've been here reading every day...just don't have the time to post and there's really been nothing new to add to what already has been said. So I just try to keep up with reading everything daily so I get a sense of what's going on. Like everyone else, just waiting for the OTC "Yield" to read "Current" - would expect the NIJ Cert new to be coming out REAL soon, followed by NEWS of orders and hopefully, production, etc. I, too, believe that this PPS has been driven down by someone liquidating certificate shares. Desperation? Maybe. In this current economy though, I can definitely understand someone needing the CASH and not having the time to wait for the price to go up. I just keep adding and wait for the day...<<sigh>>
Just bought MORE BORK - when it was sitting at $.93/$.94 - I put in a limit order to buy 8000 sh at $.95 and got it for $.9469. Feeling good about my purchase today! Time to move UP now!
I absolutely agree with you concerning the posts continually made by ROKTX about Russ Twiford and find them offensive. I've met Russell myself several times throughout the years as I've bought/sold shares of GPGI since about 2001. He has NEVER had anything but the purest of intentions for Global Platinum or his other private company, PGM Corporation. He invested [and lost] a CONSIDERABLE amount of personal funds into GPGI over the years at great personal sacrifice. It's very unfortunate that he wasn't able to bring the precious metal recovery process to fruition, not only for the people who invested money with him, but for him personally - as you say, to realize his dream. For the people who are now invested in BORK, Russell had the good fortune to cross paths with John Bourque and seize upon an extraordinary opportunity by merging the two companies. This merger greatly benefited those long-time holders of GPGI shares and will hopefully prove to be the salvation for those who may have lost money over the years before the merger. As a reader for many years of the GPGI board on Raging Bull, I can tell you that ROKTX was VIGOROUS and unrelenting with his slanderous and vile verbiage that he constantly posted with regard to Russ - almost as if he had and STILL HAS a personal vendetta for this man! But this is a NEW day and a NEW era with BORK and its revolutionary technology. It's time to put the past AWAY and focus on today - focus on the future - focus on BORK, the incredible possibilities and the future growth of what promises to be a groundbreaking scientific journey for us all. I personally THANK Russell, for without his GPGI shares, I would never have my BORK shares or probably would never have known about BORK and its remarkable potential. What Russ is doing now is really nobody's business and I personally wish him all the best for his remaining years. I'm definitely LONG on BORK and anxiously awaiting NIJ certification news...
BobEye - understood. Thanks! Would sure be nice if they could get all this done before Christmas! How NICE would that be to have my stocking overflowing with my BORK money instead of COAL this year? LOL!
BobEye - may I ask you this...who did you get a call from saying that the NIJ Cert has been approved? I don't want to get beat up by anybody...but I'm curious. This is certainly a long-awaited event for sure and I can't wait for a formal announcement.
revest47...a year ago when I was at the shareholder meeting and the merger of GPGI and BORK was being discussed, John B had talked about the fact that the plates could be put in either way (front or back) and withstand bullet impact. The important reason for that is when you're out in the middle of nowhere and it's pitch black outside, and all of a sudden you have to grab your gear and get armed up, you don't want to have to worry about which WAY you put your plate in your vest. Apparently when put in the wrong way, it had dire consequences. So it's important for our military to have this type of plate for those times when you just don't have time to THINK first. Sure made sense to me at the time, and if other plates can't do that, then we're ahead of the game on that one.
JonE - Also, people should keep in mind that the pictures taken from the Grand Opening only showed a little bit of progress had been made in getting equipment installed. It was my understanding that there was a LOT more equipment still in boxes in a storage area that was kept out of the way of the festivities, so I would think that when the "tour" happens (hopefully next weekend), that we'll be able to see more progress has been made in outfitting the facility. I can understand the skepticism of someone thinking a "moderator" of this board taking pictures doesn't do much to inspire "confidence" - but he also has to understand that it wasn't JUST the moderator there for the G.O. There were a NUMBER of us on the board who drove down or flew in for this event. We did NOT know each other beforehand - we just have a common interest in this technology, the stock and the incredible potential this offers. We ALL saw what we saw and we're all pretty much impressed with the GRAND steps that have been made in such a SHORT period of time. I would suggest that anyone AFRAID for their invested monies should attempt to be there for the next tour. But if you're just in for the quick hit, sell when you can take your money off the table and move on to your next risky venture. We BELIEVE because we CAME and we SAW. Simple as that!
JonE - that makes sense! Thanks for the info...
WOO HOO! One more hurdle jumped and cleared! I'm BORKIFIED! Maybe Stop Sign is not a bad thing - that they don't want to divulge too many corporate secrets??
mikeg2, I would also think that now having Cmdr Bob Lewis as a board member, with all his past law experience and extensive contacts I can only assume he has in law enforcement and military, also knows the various conventions and conferences that they should strategically exhibit and demonstrate at. ALL good things happening with this company for sure!
BobEye re: Divisions - I believe you are correct in them setting up different divisions for the different products. I seem to recall at the GPGI/BORK shareholder meeting that was held before the merger was completed, that John Bourque mentioned doing just that when he was speaking to all of us. At least that was his stated vision at the time.
Good one, Jellybeanie! Now we can belly up and have someplace to set down our Minty Green and enjoy the view!
Thanks JOHN11 - that IS very good news!!
Well, at $2.40/share closing price today - that's definitely getting back into my BUYING range once again making me happy!
TyTrades - LOL! Only because we're not really AWAKE yet out west here!
TyTrades - AWESOME news...thanks for posting!
BobEye - yes, I believe they will be as well! When I wrote to her about searching around for someplace that she could place the certificate, her response: Maybe I'll wait until it's $100 a share, and THEN sell! Gotta love the enthusiasm. She's retired AZ highway patrol and now Naval intelligence officer...she's definitely a BORK believer!
JonE - unfortunately...long before. But I did have some remaining cheap shares a few months before we knew of the deal. Once the deal was announced, I started buying some up, so I'm definitely ahead of the game, I guess. Just not RETIREMENT kind of cash that could have been there! LOL!!
BobEye - thanks...I will. I'll have my sis do the research on that one!
JohnE - I know, right?! I'm SICK to know that only about 4 or 5 years back I owned about 300,000+ shares of GPGI at around $.04! C'mon BORK - show me the money!
Oh perfect...will she have to open up a different trading account somewhere, sell those shares, take the cash, close the account, and then put the cash in her Ameritrade account then? What a pain this is!
1938ih - I can tell you that my sister was holding a GPGI stock certificate. She sent it in to the Registrar to have it converted to a BORK certificate, which she now has. She has purchased BORK shares in her TDAmeritrade account and took the BORK certificate to her local brokerage office in D.C. and they would NOT accept the certificate into her account. I can only assume that it's because of the CE on this, but they wouldn't really tell her why! You would think that if the already OWNS this in her account, what's the deal with putting more shares into it? Strange...
Don't know...but definitely something to ask them. I'm sure we'll have LOTS more answers after Saturday.
