We will. No hurry. <EOM>
I think more people just need to come out of their shells.
I really wish more people would do actual DD. It's not that hard. MATE.
LOL. Gee, thanks for englightening us with the information that EVCA is "still a gamble." I mean, I almost thought it was a sure thing! You cannot be serious?
DD -- it involves digging deep and looking in place you might not otherwise think to look. Finding Alpha (not what you think), if you know what I mean, in some respect.
I will be interviewing Best Buy today. What they are doing can only help the EV industry, big time.
I agree that there is not a huge chance, but you never know. There are logical tieups there. We'll see. The larger reason for posting that, however, was to draw your and other's attention to the second line I bolded in the story. Read it with me...
It's Best Buy talking. Sound familiar? It's how business is done. NOT OVERNIGHT!
We are very excited about several partnerships that we can't talk about yet," Bell says.
Interesting...
News that the company is now talking to start ups about selling electric cars. In fact, judging from what Bell says, the electronics chain already has some partnerships, which they can't discuss yet. "I would say the conversations are going well. We are very excited about several partnerships that we can't talk about yet," Bell says.
Not too analytical at all. I appreciate it. And I agree something stinky is up with the MM's. Always is. But, I have to stop myself sometimes and remember that people submit orders all day long as well I think we are in good shape. I really do.
I agree with your assessment. Most of my loading up is already done. Part of me wants it to fly, part of me wants it to stay down simply so I will be able to buy more! As for the MM's, I think it's part manipulation (don't know the reason) and also, you have to realize that buy/sell orders from retail impact the bid and ask, so it's not all manipulation.
Whoa. Back off. The only part of my comment directed at you was the first sentence. The rest was to Parabolic. I completely agree with everything you said in yours. Sincerely. Sorry if you read the wrong way.
Temporary noise. The deal is a good one as these deals go. They just need to execute. Today ended well, considering it could have been FAR worse. I usually do not go for this type of thing, but I think somebody wanted cheap shares.
Jack speculated that maybe the stock is down today because he was out of the office this morning (He was joking!). But he's back and it appears that might stablize and, who knows, even get close to green today?
Don't leave. Seriously. I am trying to be nice and joke with you.
cmon now, you don't mean that. we will close green today. that's positive. they have access to about $10M. It's 67 and sunny in Santa Monica today!!
If I was able right now, I would. And as much as I possibly could. Would really help my average a ton if I could. I wish so badly I could take advantage of this crap.
IR replied. Nothing scheduled, but PR soon.
You are right. I worry WAY too much. Generally, it doesn't pay off. I guess I keep worrying, wating for that one day when it will!
I will say... not hearing back from IR today concerns me a little bit.
I would give anything for the funds to buy now. I just cannot sell something else to buy more.
Anybody in contact with IR today? <EOM>
If I had the cash free right now, I would buy this thing back all the way up to .02. This is UNREAL. And a bargain to boot.
And, I hope, that long-term, you're wrong! I really do I truly appreciate your posts. I do hope, however, that you'll consider the way this business works in terms of being "right" and "wrong." Today, you are "right," but that does not mean you are right. For example, today Netflix bears are "wrong," but when all is said and done they might have been "right" all along. Today's story, while true at the moment, is not always indicative of reality or, more so, the future.
Today. You are correct. You make good points. Today, however, might mean very little down the line.
All you need to do is take a quick look at the websites and/or SEC filings for NRG Energy, Coloumb, AeroVironment, and others and you'll see all you need to know about the pace at which EV charging is headed. It's amazing really. And it's getting MUCH easier for drivers, regardless of how long their commute is, how far they drive, etc... for most people's daily routines and driving habits.
You have no clue what you are talking about. Do you even know the difference between the Volt and other cars? I could go on, but I won't. It's not worth it. Clearly, anybody who has taken the time to educate themselves can see right through your "research." Again, I hope you will not delete the posts calling for you to step done and such. THEY RELATE TO EVCA! They relate to the EV industry. And, even if in a small way, you have an impact. And you should not be able to spread misinformation or, at the very least, give a sliver of a much larger story. It's an absolute joke.
Maybe not today. I understand your frustration, but, again, step back and look at how things work in the world. They do not happen overnight. You're expecting too much, too soon. Plus, like many of us, you follow this too closely and too intently, which is why you (we) often expect too much too soon. This trajectory is perfectly normal. Whether it comes to or not is another matter entirely.
And really, the issue is not about EVs being able to run forever or them "exploding overnight." Rather, it's about facts and misrepresentation. What a joke.
He's factually wrong, it's simple as that. All it takes is a Google search to figure it out. Here, I will do it for you...

How many years will the battery last?
Based on testing, Tesla expects the battery to retain approximately 70% of its initial capacity after seven years or 100,000 miles.
How far can Model S travel on one charge?
Three battery options are offered: 160-, 230-, or 300-mile range. Model S comes standard with the 160-mile range battery at the quoted $49,900 base price (after the $7,500 Federal Tax Credit). The 230-mile and 300-mile range batteries are optional upgrades. The 230-mile range option is priced at about $10,000 more than the base and the 300-mile option at about $20,000 more than the base.
And you present information on a message board that you moderate on the basis of what a "salesman" at an auto show told you? Irrespective of this decision, what you say is inaccurate and misleading. It not only hurts those looking at EVCA, but the entire EV industry as well.
With all due respect, you present factually inaccurate information here.
Ev cars
can only go about 80 miles on a full charge and need the main
battery replaced every 2 to 3 years and that is a very expensive
battery.
According to those figures, I own as much as the CFO.
they did not get that one trade it seems. Appears that we have good bid support and the same old story on the ask.
Strange. Probably a trap.
The Best Buy thing is actually interesting. Not sure how they could help EVCA, though. I mean there's a potential hook up, but they would have to be REAL aggressive. I just don't see it as a positive right now other than more awareness for EVs.
I think you're right, but, in all seriousness, you are a bit impatient. Through it all, the company has never promised results overnight. You really have to step back, look at other companies you have no investment or interest in... go back and check out past PRs and the timing of how things happen. What EVCA is doing is normal in terms of timing and, frankly, for a penny, it's been pretty impressive. They have a plan and they are building it out, piece by piece. IR said there's more, just working on details. Just be patient. But, I do understand and see where you are coming from, vegapaz.
LOL!! Thanks for the tip on Best Buy. Great, subtle humor there too!!
Best Buy? Okay.
Man, I wish I could do it right now!! Somebody steal that 25,000 share block @.0195!
Crazy. The bid is thin to about .0171 or so. It would be nice to see this thing power through.
I doubt it. First, I doubt think we go through the .017s, but even if we do, the same rules don't apply to these stocks as they do the bigger boys. IMO
