Talked to Garrett Hale about seven weeks ago at which time he told me we would get some news in about two to four weeks. I also asked him why the Global Builders Group's domain name was for sale on "Go Daddy." Now you would think that the CEO would have an answer for that but he didn't and of course there has been no news. I'm pretty stubborn but enough is enough so I've extricated myself from this with enough for a decent stake in a Nasdac stock I've been watching and of course I've got a tax write-off. Good luck to you all, I'm moving on.
"I think it is over. SNEY is probably kaput. Is it an empty shell now??? Anyone actually communicated with any 'officers' of the company?"
"In a country filled with gold, rare earths and diamonds -- how is it that startups aren't wildly successful?"
Those of us who aren't too lazy to do so have. You should try it.
As to your second question, try government roadblocks to outsiders as a possibility. A way around that might just be a collaboration with another entity with closer ties to the government.
Just food for thought.
Should have said when I posted. The share information came from my Etrade account under the section titled "Insider Activity" for sney. Hale being the only one buying shares is just more speculative bloviating by the all-knowing ones on this board. IMO
Insider Sentiment
No SNEY insider has purchased company stock this year. The last buy occurred when HALE GARRETT purchased a total of 8,027,900 shares on December 29, 2015. In the last 5 years insiders have on average purchased 5,877,580 shares each year.
Insider Transaction History
Date Name-Position Transaction Shares Price Range ($) Shares Held
12/29/15 Hale Garrett
Chief Executive Officer Purchase 8,027,900 $24.99 – $2,356.00 32,433,733
As of 12/29/15 he held 32,433,733 shares.
I think you could be right if the 10k is a priority with them. Diamond sales and pay as you go with some money kicked in out of Garrett's pocket is what is happening. I think current filings might be of secondary importance with being a self supporting company ranking first on their priority list. More diamond sales and another 8K.
Lol. Post histories are quite useful in that regard.
I think he meant to say "Bollocks."......Nonsense, rubbish, etc.
Lol. It also doesn't fit the going dark scenario.
"Which is very telling, that I can simply glance at a phone occasionally and point out what a paper push front this symbol is. Not because I posses some natural ability , rather there's simply that many obvious red flags with this symbol."
"That's the hard reality"
Lol. The red flags are your opinion. Hard realities are post histories. I think fifty seven posts so far today amounts to a bit more than an occasional glance at your phone.
Still here, win or lose, no in between for me. Just the way I've always been and too old to change now. I'm with you on your bet, Garrett's going to make this work.
The words were "in excess of 180,000." It was a low-ball estimate.
As far as his astuteness as a CEO goes, he is a contractor in Napa, Ca. He was an investor and involved in sney's advisory board when Bigler left and was dissatisfied with the way things were going so instead of whining, like a lot on this board, he decided to do something about it and stepped in to fill the void. He does run this company, not Parent, and I've got faith that he will make sney successful in the end. In my opinion, to an extent, this has been a case of trial and error and learning on the job....... Maybe you can help him with some enlightenment on the fine points of being a CEO Steve.
You know, I'll just bet the person buying sney's diamonds is an Israeli. You think that's possible? Goodnight Risk.
Nope, revenue, dept elimination and profitability are the goals and the ceo has been using his own money where necessary to get there to avoid as much dept as possible.
Increased diamond revenue and a slow climb out of debt is the name of the game. Your B.S. is just that.
Don't bet on it.
Don't know about anyone else but I'm still feeling lucky. Some times climbing out of a hole takes a little time and Bigler left a big hole.
So, in your mind, Sney is a scam and the people running it are all con artists and there is no chance that Sney will ever be a success.
Do I have that about right? I only ask this because you seem to be claiming the moral high ground here versus the rest of us who are still in the game. Since you are so concerned about about other people falling victim to this "scam" (your word) I'm wondering how much thought you gave to the person or persons who bought your 800,000 shares. And since you obviously think your words here can have an influence on future buyers and sellers, I'm wondering if you've given any thought to whether or not Mr. Hale might have just been a bit inept in the past and not the scam artist you claim he is. Is that a possibility?..... Just food for thought for a moral crusader like yourself.
Amen to that!!!
And spending round about $1,100.00 dollars to do so. lol
What a joke!! More lies, or should I say speculation, presented as if it were fact.
"All these posts on Hale skimming Shareholders and dealing for his own benefit are baseless and false. Just wild assumptions."
And usually presented as if they are fact. Good post.
Didn't see much red today. A nice green day.
Clearly the most obvious answer to all the baseless accusations by some. And it has been said before.
How many shares represent 10% of the company?
Rhetorical question of course.
" You all will just continue to hype and hope to get the naïve invested and run this up so you can dump on the new suckers. Sad way to make a buck hurting people."
Wrong Stevie. I'm quite sure that most here, like me, invested knowing this is a long-shot play because those are the ones that can pay off big if they succeed. Conversely you can lose it all if they don't succeed. Most grown-ups realize that before they put their money down. If they win they rightly celebrate. If they lose they don't spend the rest of their lives whining about it. Grow up Stevie.
Got a chance to read your last post before it was deleated. Nice find and thanks for sharing.
Reading these sney critiques is just about like watching Three Stooges reruns except less entertaining. Amen to the yawn.
"I see that nothing changes here on this board."
Yep. Still a lot of negativity but also plenty of optimism to go round.
Been my policy for quite awhile now. Some people just can't help themselves though.
I guess I should have explained why I posted the link to this article. It is just yet another forum where sney has been mentioned and I thought the comments on the diamond industry and sney's wash plant and loader in Liberia would be of some interest. The old PR information was just incidental. Not hard to start a daylong debate around here. lol
Thought I heard some noise this morning. Anyone else hear some noise?
"The long-term outlook for the diamond industry augurs well for Sunergy Inc. (OTCPK:SNEY), a Scottsdale, Arizona-based junior mining company with a wash plant and loader in Liberia."
You remember correctly.
I apologize in advance if I am paraphrasing the wrong person but I believe it was Fangster who said something to the effect that the time is going to come when you ask yourself; "How did they do that?"
Thanks. Decided to try to find legitimate things to bring to the table as others have done.
Lol, I think that qualifies you to play on the dark side.
Another little interesting tidbit for all to see.

Nice.
