Sharkey and all Admens, The APDN board is starting to get out of control my man. When someone that states he would not even buy this stock and can only agitate and cause disruption does so with impunity, I suggest those that are long and have been here for years are going to begin to drop out.
In Texas we rake up the dog turds and put them in the trash or dig a hole and bury them. Just saying it helps the air quality when they are eliminated. When the turd can question my and others knowledge of APDN and my years of investing by suggesting that I am STUPID for investing here, I have no interest in reading the board posts any longer. I'll check back in a few months and see if things have improved. RamdyK
you are correct Mooon. I am a Long on APDN that has been laying low lately. I have a Vanguard Brokerage account that needs my attention more for now. But the site does look a whole lot better today. I also applaud whoever did the cleanup.
Houtheman, You are obviously a gentleman and a scholar. Thank you for your much appreciated efforts. RandyK
Sharky, I would figure us to construct a gallows on the Courthouse lawn. It would be time for a public hanging. Just my Texas opinion. RandyK
Proud to be Long and Holding on APDN!! Just increased my Hold by 283%. Take that you Naysayers. RandyK
SHARKEY, I have noticed a few new posters re: SA. Seems strange they would show up suddenly. So, this old timer that has been laying low lately felt a need to comment. No group has researched APDN better than this board. Anyone here know the actual compensation numbers? Anyone know the actual R&D numbers? I myself will be looking to add to my Scottrade Long Hold of APDN. Now back to my Vanguard Brokerage account where my BIG money is doing relatively well lately.
Just my Opinion: RandyK
That Golden Xross is looking MUCH better today 10mil.
As a three per week Bowling League guy I like to see
those Xs.
10Mil, is a 3.01 over 3.00 a SHARP rise or a peck on the cheek?
Glad to see some positive movement for APDN. Still laying back and checking in occasionally. Been paying more attention to my Vanguard Brokerage account. Doing well even with the China mini shock-wave. Hope to see more positive movement with APDN. GLTA RandyK
Sharky, the West Texas Cowboy is still hanging in there. Still HOLDING and watching, but I am working on setting up a Vanguard brokerage account to handle my real money. I am still keeping my Scottrade for playing with but we want to move our retirement funds, 401k - IRA - CDs - etc. into a Vangaurd brokerage account to increase our ability to control our destiny more on our own. Also will lower our annual and quatrerly fees.
By the way I failed to cash at the USBC Nationals this year by 21 pins but my doubles partner made a check. Oh well I'll try next year in Reno.
GLTA RandyK
Sharkman, my being from west Texas, this stock is starting to remind me of an old Tanya Tucker song. Requires a small amount of imagination to see the relationship.
"Lizzie And The Rainman"
He came ridin' in on the sunrise of a hot west Texas day
A fancy man in a painted wagon with some fancy things to say
Looks like you folks need some water, well water is my game
And for the small price of $100 I betcha I can make it rain
Step back non believers or the rain will never come
Somebody start that fire a-burning somebody beat the drum
You know some may think I'm crazy for making all these claims
But I swear before this day is over you folks are gonna see some rain
They all just stood there a-staring trying to believe
But there was one named Lizzie Cooper who said he was a lying cheat
You say you call yourself a rainman, well you oughta be ashamed
Starting all these people dreamin', thinking you can make it rain
Step back non believers or the rain will never come
Somebody keep that fire a-burning somebody beat the drum
You know some may think I'm crazy for making all these claims
But I swear before this day is over you folks are going see some rain
Hey Lizzie, well a mans got to have a dream
And if you can't walk on the inside with me, I'll meet you in between
Oh come with me Lizzie and the stars will right your name
And if you still think I'm lying to you, look younder there comes the rain
Step back non believers for the rain will never come
Somebody keep that fire a-burning somebody beat the drum
You know some folks think I'm crazy for making all these claims
But I swear before this day is over you folks are going see some r
Sharkey, I have refrained from making comments for some time now, but I do not intend to change that today either. Just wanted to let all know that I am still holding ALL my shares and dreaming of a possible miracle. RandyK
This is all I have to say about that!
Iheart, Thanks for the Marty, that was great! You said it was 0 degrees at noon Sunday? What is it like to have NO temperature? About the Oahu thing, I have a condo on Maui and I doubt I could afford to live in Hawaii full time. Stay warm Bud and we will think of you when we, down here in Texas, are bitching about 30 degree weather. RandyK
I'll try to find it when I go to El Paso the first week of June. Will not have time to visit the campus of my alma mater or visit WM Keck Center though. I will be bowling in the US Nationals Open tournament. But that should be the best place for a Marty Robins search.
Mike, I NEVER tire of your posts!!
Most know that I am long on APDN and will remain so. But this Revenue/Expense discussion is looking a lot like the old Golden Cross thing we visited some time back. Every time the 50 day [call it Revenues] would get close to crossing above the 200 day [Call it Expenses] the 200 day would rise to keep the cross from occurring. I so much fear that cross [revenues exceeding expenses] will never occur. Because there will always be the temptation, as we have seen so often, to self reward rather than reward the investors. As I stated at the top, I will remain long and just hope that an awakening will occur. RandyK
Wishful, That short video is the complete layout of all our hopes for this company to soar!!
Sorry for my misunderstanding. I read it as Wishful and me commenting on old news and not keeping our eye on the ball. No hard feelings. RandyK
MrBigg, Don't jump my @ss about not being on target!!! I don't have time lately to read every post every day. I liked what Wishfull posted today and I responded today. Sorry if we are not ON TARGET as well as the rest.
RandyK
WT, that is a GOOD thing!!! Thanks for the post.
Sorry to hear of your and your sisters' loss Mike. About the dinnerware, I have some of those but not a complete set. RandyK
Thanks for the post Mike,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and all the others on the board. May not get much chance to follow until next year. RandyK
AG, you must stop digging around in my head! I swear those words came from me!!!
Amen LawMan we see this the same way.
Mike, I could not have said that more succinctly. This is a BIG wait and see.
Mike and MrBig, First MrBig you say "spend money to make money." That is fine as long as you make more than you spend. APDN seems to be "spend money, spend money, spend money to make money." Hope this improves. Mike we will need to see how the cronyism thing works out. His comp package sounds like he will no suffer as we have!
"As has been the policy with other non-employee directors, Mr. Ceccoli will be granted annually a five year stock option, fully vested after one year, to purchase a number of shares of common stock having a fair value of $60,000 as determined using the Black Scholes value or as determined by the Compensation Committee of the Board. In addition, Mr. Ceccoli will be a party to the Company’s standard form of indemnification agreement."
Just MHO!!
Time for me to vent again!! At 4 cents pre-reverse how much is this company worth on the open market? How much are the patents worth? This is nearing being a bargain buy for a large corporation that can incorporate into an existing structure, and then operate it as a corporate entity. This IMO is a train wreck waiting to happen. I am still holding long but it looks like I may have an opportunity take a tax loss for my entire investment the way things are going. Just me ranting! Randy
"We're going back and forth through Hell right now. We're family damn it!"
Mike, I love you brother!!!
I may have posted re: this before. As Mike knows I am almost as old as dirt. I have had many occupations in the past 50 years after college. Every thing from teacher, engineer, business manager to business owner. The one occupation that was most rewarding was as an Industrial Engineer (Efficiency Expert) for a fortune 500 chemical company. Our purpose in that department was to study every level of business operations to make sure that every position was profitable to the corporation. If a position or department could not show that they were making the company more money than they were being paid, changes had to be made. Do the same work with less people by streamlining operations or find a way to eliminate the job or department. In my position I was expected to show that I was increasing profits for the company equal to three times my salary each year. It was easy in the beginning to do that and more, but as years went by it became more difficult to find more areas for improvement. Guess what! We had to reduce our own department. I was moved into distribution management where I continued to use those ideas to improve distribution operations. This also helped me to become a successful business owner myself. My point is this. APDNS must begin to examine every position from the good Doctor down. I you can't justify your salary and position you best begin to make changes that will bring more money in than is going out. It is not rocket science. It is no different than running a household, more money out than coming in and you will be on the street with no roof over your head. Sorry for the rant! I just needed to vent I guess.
1Mil, I feel your pain! I am like titi, I have hopes of being financially secure. I am in my 7th decade so it better happen soon to be rich. But I am secure enough to play with stocks and not worry about going hungry in my retirement years.
No Mike re: Ford. I have a victory red Chevrolet Silverado with a lot of bell and whistles. The last Ford I owned was my first new car; a '65 Ford Mustang. Wish I still had it though. When I sold it (for $750) it was just like new.
1Mil, What is your problem with rich folks? Did we get into this stock to be 'poor folks'? I know that seems to be reality for now, but I do think our intent was to be 'rich folks'. Manipulation is bad for sure but the folks doing it are bad for their deeds, not the amount of money they have. I for one would like to be known as rich folks!
I don't think that one worked.

I LOVE you man!!
Mike, I am glad you were no able to access your 401K. It would have turned into a 201K.
Pasta, Guess what! I had just sent that post when my cell rang. I no longer have a negative balance in the account. That fee was conveniently reversed.
I had the funds in this particular account invested only in APDN. I had all but 29 cents of the total invested. Now that account is ($19.71). I called the branch to inform them that I would be in today to put $19.71 into the account to get us even. I then in formed them that I would search for a new place to move these shares.
What the HELL? Scottrade hit me with an 'Applied DNA Sciences REORG FEE.' It's only $20 but what the hell? APDNAS reorganizes so they charge me $20 for it???
