An intriguing day to say the least. AFT's products are on the cutting edge of alternative fuel technology, especially diesel.
But can also be integrated with other fuels as well.
Were these early in the day shorts? Lots of buying early on. Somebody playing a poor mans pump/dump?
No doubt she has been 'less than candid'.
Aside from that, is it possible to sell aftc's stock as a shell, separate from the company? Kathy keeps aftc's products/technology, but the stock is cut loose as a shell? Or does it have to be done as a package deal?
I'm not so sure we should be putting all this on Kathy's shoulders.
AFTC was Jim's baby. He was the heart, soul and brains behind it all. When he became ill, it would have been his move to bring someone in who could keep the ball rolling. This is something we had discussed here when we learned of Jim's passing. Maybe he tried to but it didn't pan out. Running the company is not Kathy's forte, and I'm sure something she was not seeking.
Went into the Witness Protection Program.
Saw it in 'Goodfellas'....
Yes, DME is just around the corner. But can AFTC(or their products) get in on it?
I think you will find a few tumbleweeds blowing around, not much else.
But we do have an unconfirmed sighting of Kathy on an ATV in northern Idaho, near the Canadian border.
Not a chance. The current dip in gas $ we see is the result of a glut in the market. AFTC's products are not even in demand at this time. Maybe in a year or three we could see some interest, and it will be a serious interest.
Jim McCandless was pretty far ahead of the curve. A bit further ahead than he realized.
Sounds like Kathy will be getting a very hot letter. I just hope they can find a drop off spot for her underground bunker in the rugged mountains of western Montana.
So Kathy is now ensconced in her deep under ground bunker, living on Mountain House freese dried foods and canned vegatables....
waiting for the word from...Obama. Can we come out now....?
Until Kathy emerges from her underground bunker and let's us know what's really going on, that leaves it all up to speculation. We can assume the best or the worst.
No one will ever know, since JM has passed on. What we do know is the companies key personal are either already gone or looking for greener pastures. So, what's wrong with the grass on aftc's land?
"New leadership?" Most likely aftc is now just a shell, existing only on paper. Josh Church has probably already cleaned out the shop and turned out the lights.
However, they do have a solid product that has real value.
The question is, can Kathy find a buyer?
It's not the wait, it's the timeline of events.
In the August update Kathy was very optimistic they were on the brink of a manufacturing deal with a "major defense contractor" unquote.
Then in October, she sends one of her engineers packing. Their other engineer is also shopping his resume around the internet.
Does that sound like a company that just scored a $500,000+ deal?
And why no news? A deal like that would at the least deserve a brief mention. I mean, it's only the biggest deal in the companies history.
And I don't buy into the "confidentiality clause" excuse. You know, they're "in negotiations".
This is a small one owner company. It's not like there are 3 other owners and this thing is going round n round. It shouldn't take 3 months to reach an accord.
Sounds to me like the deal they thought they had didn't happen. And aftc exists only on paper, plus their stock.
Signed, The Devils Advocate.
A Charlie Brown aftc Christmas.
Yes, located just outside of beautiful warzone Detroit. Wouldn't be surprised if Blackwater is providing security for their gated community.
One trick? What trick?
I agree. Kathy has been with aftc for many years, has college degrees, and handles their administrative tasks. She is hardly an internet dolt.
But she has lowered the cone of silence. And so now we just slowly twist in the wind.
I'm not so sure about that. The share price started dropping steadily back in October. That's when Amelia left the company.
I think our best hope is if they are bought by another company that wants to go public. Right now the only thing of value for aftc is their technology.
'Soon' in aftc time is 6-18 months. Nevertheless, I do believe something is afoot(I hope not skullduggery). Both their engineers are seeking employment elsewhere(one is already on the streets). Is there anyone left? Has Ken Duryn taken an early retirement?
This does not look like a merger, rather a buyout. If it involves an American based company, a deal can be struck at any time.
I'm sure all this hocus pocus is done for a reason. It's not like she'll take the money and run? Keep in mind, AFTC is a Jim McCandless project. And $ has never corrupted anyone....?
That would be a logical assumption, since in the last update Kathy alluded to being on the brink of a deal with a "major defense contractor".
So if we are to see the glass as half full, maybe this is the calm before the storm.....?
Someone panic. OMG, I have to sell at .001....!!!
Pennystock newb no doubt.
Two schools of thought on this.
One, we(the shareholders), are tossed into the wood chipper.
Or, a deal is struck with this "major defense contractor" and an appropriate PR is issued by AFTC.
I don't see a whole lot of middle ground between the two.
Any talk of a buy out has no play in this.
Nothing. We decided to leave you in the dark.
Looks like that pic was taken back in the summer months. Sky is blue, leaves are green. A lot has transpired since then.
What's going down now seems to be on a different level. Just my 2.2 cents(factored in the tax).
I was just about to make mention of that(albeit in my more crude and direct style). The 15th falls on Saturday. So maybe we don't hear any news till Monday, Tuesday.... And does the world end on Wednesday?
Insiders are saying that will be on the day it is posted. Not before or after.
2 and a 1/4 million shares traded today. Where did they go?
"Holy DME fuel pump, Batman!"
"That's right, Robin. But this time, the joke's on the Joker."
KABOW!!! BANG!!
Their current project with a "major defense contractor" should not be over looked. If it comes to fruition, we could move from the sub pennies to the real pennies. Not quite Wall Street level, but definite progress.
We're losing the short term traders and flippers. They have the patience of a Tazmanian Devil. Anyone who has done their DD will hold.
Yes, and as investors, we should hold onto a good chunk of shares for later down the road. Keep a mil or half a mil in your pocket for 2015 or '16. By then DME will start to pay off. In the meantime, we have other projects.
These 'players' in DME will grow in the next few years. When DME finally gets headline billing, AFTC will already have a stake in it.
But for now, their military projects will be the first to bear fruit for this company.
I would guess that is the reason for the spike in the PPS. Some attendee's liked AFT's potential and decided to get in on the ground floor. Good for them.
The fact that they are a sub penny operating in the black is good news alone. If they can squeeze a few more mullah's out to send someone on a field trip, I think it will surely benefit them. They are playing in a field that has growth written all over it.
Ouch! Thought they'd found a real sucker there for a moment. By the way, I've got some beachfront property in Nebraska if you're interested?
Rumor has it that Volvo 'hijacked' AFT's technology for a DME fuel pump. Nevertheless, AFT still has the real deal. I think this will come out in the long run.
Let's have some fun... AFTC is involved with a major defense contractor regarding a fuel injector system for military aircraft.
There are only a handful of big names out there: Pratt & Whitney, General Dynamics, Rolls Royce. I'm thinking we are dealing with unmanned airel vehicles, ie 'drones'.
So, any deal with these companies would be a boon for AFT's image, and should be shouted from the roof tops. Yes.....?
Yes, I believe the noose is tightening. The other wannabe biofuels cannot offer the advantages of DME, specifically in the diesel market.. The more this is researched, the better for us.
