There is risk here, don't let anyone tell you there isn't. There are many things in the works, but at the moment we are all awaiting news on one or more of the deals in the works. The company has a market cap of less than $500,000 at the current price. You can get in cheaper than most of us holding on, but there are no guarantees. This board tries to stay truthful, positive and share any and all news gathered through news releases and contact with company personnel. We have tried to remain patient while we wait for news, and you may have noticed that the stock price has tumbled during this quiet period. With just one or 2 pieces of good news this stock can return to recent levels and with more progress, the sky is the limit. This is not my one and only investment, and I have admited in the past that I am "treasure hunting" with ISPI. I do have more stable investments, but if and when this stock takes off, I'm going to enjoy the ride. Good luck to you.
Moderator?
This board needs a moderator. The iBox is out of date from Hamilton's days as CEO. I nominate Greg (Greg_Van) and/or Scott (smc9556702).
My order for 2000 shares filled at $.01
Greg
The current price and Ask are the same @ $0.01. You can try.
Mike
I keep tuning into this board hoping someone will post an update from the company. I hope our patience pays off. I'm holding firm.
Good luck to everyone............and have a great weekend.
Here's to getting some good news soon! Soon?
How long do you think we will have to wait to find out what this recent action does to our investments? and why?
Interesting insight. That will be something to watch for.
If anyone here is some kind of pumper, then they are doing a TERRIBLE job. This stock tanked despite any positive opinion's shared on this board. Bottom line, this company is too quiet, in my opinion. If we take personal shots at others here, then those people may stop making efforts to get the information we are all seeking. And, if anyone, including the person you mentioned, turns out to not be what they say they are, then shame on them. I for one, want to continue sharing information and make investing decisions based on my feelings and within my tolerance for risk with the little bit of cash I have set aside for this kind of treasure hunting. I am also upset with where this has gone, so I understand the frustration.
Much to learn. Is there a place to get an accurate share count? I don't see that the outstanding shares has ever changed from slightly north of 61 million.
Doesn't there have to be some kind of filing if there is dilution? Can you provide a link or point me to where I can find it?
Much appreciated. Mike
What happened?
The price just tanked on large volume........
I suppose, if there is one thing I know, it's that if there is a sale made, there is a seller AND a buyer. So, someone just dumped a large group of shares causing the price to PLUMMET. On the other hand someone picked up a bunch of shares as a lower price.
News may be coming but it may be good or bad news. Maybe this activity is a sign that the news is coming?
No reason to sell now. I won't be getting anything for my shares. Still holding for news. To the moon or into the toilet. Sigh!
Thanks for clarifying, Greg. I did think that was you saying, "hold on, it's coming". Great that it came from Mr. Mayan. I'll especially say thank you for sharing any bit of news you get, no matter how small.
Sure, we're all probably thinking it would be better if "it's coming" came with an estimated time of arrival, but just the fact that we were able to get this response is a good thing.
We must now trust that "it's coming".
I'm not going to speculate on what our next bit of news will be from InfoSpi, but I'm confident things are moving ahead. Things never happen as fast as we would like, but any progress is major for this company. The next bit of news may be the one that proceeds the breakout of ISPI stock!
The suspense is killing me, but I'm going to stick around if only for the drama. The sky is the limit on where this thing could go. up, Up, UP from here.
Low volume moves have a better chance of reversing. I don't know if that's good news, but you asked. I really don't know what gives, either.
Once again, the only thing moving this stock is the trading. Still no news. Does anyone who seems to be able to get a response from the CEO want to try again?
We're all dying of curiousity and will start losing investor interest if the company remains silent much longer. Even if we just hear that things are progressing, that would satisfy me.
In fact, I think the best news I could hear now would be if InfoSpi announced plans for regular updates to be posted on their website, and then seeing them stick to whatever schedule they lay out. Monthly would be great!
I mean, I have to write a status report weekly for my management and they don't let me go silent. Maybe I should just tell my manager that something BIG is coming, so be patient and wait for my update when it's ready - until then I have nothing to report. Something tells me that wouldn't fly. Sorry, trying to add a little levity, but we really are due an update. Good or bad.
Until we hear something, I continue to hold firm. My patience is being tested, but my confidence in InfoSpi's ability to bring big deals together in the renewable energy space remains steady. One municipal contract, just 1, and this thing goes up, Up, UP! IMHO
Very quiet board as of late. Are you all still there and staying positive on ISPI?
Mike
I sent an email to Mr. Mayan again today. I will let everyone know here if I get a response.
Also, a question for anyone that may know the answer. Are there any restrictions on any of the recently departed officers on selling any of their shares? For example, Mr. Olivier Danan reportedly controls 16,666,300 shares and he resigned effective April 27, 2010. Any information, including opinions, is welcome. Thanks!
Greg, if you take the time to look back at my posts, I think that you will find the my record is clean when it comes to responding to any "negative" posts here. :)
It's a good policy, so thanks for bringing that up to all here.
I do read those posts and take them for what they are. They may prove to be correct, but only time will tell, and I'm definitely on the positive side on InfoSpi. I just picked up more cheapies today.
Yes, I am a bit of a dreamer. I'll admit it. My most recent dream is that InfoSpi shareholders will be meeting in Florida in less than 18 months to tour a working Tire to Oil demonstration facility and to meet with company directors to get an update on the past years many accomplishments and to celebrate our success. I also dream about selling 2500 shares of ISPI to pay for the whole trip, including airfare from my little midwestern city! Happy 4th to my fellow American friends!!
New website!
Check it out:
www.infospiinc.com
Interesting indeed. Then they really need to take care of business; when and if there is someone big that appreciates their business, that would only increase our share value. Does InfoSpi hold any patents or other things that may make their business unique?
Thanks for your opinions. They are greatly appreciated. Do you think ISPI could ever be a takeover target?
Welcome to July!
Does anyone else think this could be a good month for ISPI, or are we still a few months away? News will come when it's ready, but it would sure be nice to get an update from the company.
I hope everyone is rewarded with their patience!
Go ISPI!!
Greg,
You can check my math, but if you get your 5 million ISPI shares you would be a little more than 8% owner. Are there any additional requirements or restrictions on an individual that owns more than 5% of outstanding shares? Probably not....just thinking out loud.
Mike
Today I have been learning all I can about the CEO of InfoSpi that I could find online. Without going into too much detail, Mr. Mayan heads up the Mayan Group, which is a real estate development company that reportedly has a current portfolio of developments valued at over $390 million. They do big deals! This is a real business man and a visionary. I'm also guessing that he spends alot of time with the real estate development business. In some ways, real estate may not seem like a natural fit for a someone leading a green and progressive company promoting renewable and sustainable clean energy. I disagree. People at his level in real estate development simply have access to people and opportunity that just aren't there for the majority of people. Maybe his real estate business takes much of his time from InfoSpi, but he's been at it too long for it to be a hobby or diversion. One may infer from all of this that he doesn't care as much about the day-to-day share price as we all do. He'll share news when it's ready to be shared. There is more to this story that we don't even know, and as it unfolds before our eyes it will get interesting and exciting.
I won't be able to get to 5mil shares, but I hope Greg gets that house for his son and girlfriend. When that happens, I should at least have a nice downpayment for a new home with my fiance.
Some companies at this stage make it part of their business plan to pump out a well timed news release to inflate share price. I don't think we are seeing that with InfoSpi for a reason. This CEO is not about playing that game. His development company is too big, and why would someone like him risk harming his public image by doing this kind of activity. In his line of work it's all about consistency, quality, and reputation. It's simply not worth it for him.
I do think we deserve to know that InfoSpi is full steam ahead as shareholders. Beyond that I'll hold on for the big news events.
Don't leave too early without considering what you might be leaving.
Mike
I put in an order, but it expired before it filled. I understand some nervousness, but I think it will benefit those buying at this price in the long term. The only public news we have heard, that I recall, during this month is the departure of the CEO. I was hoping to hear some updates on any of InfoSpi's project by the end of June, but time is running out for that.
It wasn't me. I haven't sold 1 share since my initial investment. Perhaps someone needed to clear up some cash or perhaps the lack of news could be making some nervous. I think Greg said once that he would sell some at $.40, but is planning to hold until past $1.00/share. Correct me if I am wrong or if anything has changed. I think this stock will hit the dollar mark. I may not even sell then depending on where the company is and what got the share price to that level. Anyone else willing to share their personal price targets?
Good point. You stack all that up and the future looks very bright indeed for InfoSpi, with it's stock symbol ISPI that is currently trading at just $.015 per share and has a market cap of UNDER $1m. When InfoSpi executes on just one of these deals, the price should move up. When the deals start stacking up is when we will all be rewarded for our investment and our patience.
InfoSpi in the Renewable Energy Sector.
The share price has been holding around $.015 for a few days awaiting some positive news. This is still a great time, in my opinion, for an early entry.
In case we forget, follow this 1 month timeline from January 2010:
All of these events were PR'ed in January 2010 and a new update could come at any time.
January 13, 2010 - Haim Mayan is in the process of finalizing a lease of 40,000 squarefeet of warehouse space with railroad access in Pompano Beach, FL to be used as InfoSpi's first Tire to Oil (T2O) facility
January 14, 2010 - InfoSpi signs LOI with Little Lighthouse, LLC for exclusive rights to operate Tire to Oil 'T2O' facilities in Duval, St. Johns, Volusia, Brevard, Seminole, Orange, and Osceola Florida
January 15, 2010 - Prince Carlos von Hohenzollern joins the Board of Directors to spearhead the funding efforts of the company and the company announces it will create a $500m Green Hedge Fund focusing on the carbon credit market lead by Prince Carlos.
This is just a list of the companies news releases from the month of January in 2010.
We are approaching 6 months since these announcements, and updates on anyone of these could be coming soon. We all agree that InfoSpi is due for some news, and we are anxiously awaiting new, News, NEWS! But, when you stop and take a look back at the accomplishments of the past 6 months this is an impressive list of ongoing projects that will require time and funding to accomplish. When they start getting things done, this share price won't last. In my opinion, of course.
GO ISPI!!
Greg, brings up another good point - bringing more investors to InfoSpi is key. Gains will get this investment noticed, as will good news.
If anyone stumbles upon this board, take a closer look at InfoSpi. It is a company basically in it's infancy that is currently trying to raise money that will allow it to continue work towards many lofty goals. With a successful business plan, InfoSpi will become a leader in biotechnologies and biofuels to promote and present RENEWABLE energy options to the public.
Do your own research, but to get you started look into InfoSpi's plans for 1)opening facilities that operate to convert waste tires into fuel. 2)Alternative Fuels, including micro algae 3)Biofuels 4)$500m Green Hedge Fund Focusing on the Carbon Credit Market
As of this post, the stock price is $0.014 and the market cap for InfoSpi is just $875k and some change. RENEWABLE energy is a hot topic that is only going to get bigger. Companies, like InfoSpi, have huge potential for growth.
Invest with your head and within your means, but take a closer look at ISPI. There is already a group of supportive shareholders excited about all the potential positives......the positive impact to the planet when InfoSpi starts to meet objectives followed by the positive share price growth and shareholder value.
Don't listen to anyone promising $1+ per share for InfoSpi, but believe this, that every supporting poster on this board believes that we can get there.
With all due respect, I don't see the value of these small trades. While it may result in making my portfolio appear a little stronger on any given close, I don't realize any gains or losses until I actually sell.
I would prefer to buy low, hold and wait for good news updates and revenue to push the stock price up.
I'm not trading this stock. I'm holding for what I hope is mid or even longterm hoping for a breakout. Perhaps you could explain the merits to this strategy, since it's not quite a no-brainer to me. Forgive me if I'm just not "getting it".
I'm honestly not all that interested in my portfolio value day-to-day until I finally decide to sell some to all of my shares. If this stock continues to move between .01 and .02 until we get some real news, does it really matter that much? Again, I ask you this with all due respect, because I am sincerely curious about what these small daily moves in the stock price have to do with the companies longterm prospects. If we are supporting the companies efforts towards meeting their objectives, then I am all for it.
You said yourself that your efforts have been thwarted by someone that sells and moves the price down. We can't control this, can we?
I look forward to your response and I stay positive on the longterm prospects of InfoSpi. Go ISPI! Thanks
That's wonderful, Greg, thanks again. I personally think we need to be prepared for getting an update that sounds like there hasn't been much progress. That's just my opinion. This company is actively moving in many directions, and everything can't be done quickly. Things take time. I also believe that Mayan is probably personally responsible for much of what we are waiting to see happen, and he's just one person.
So, I look forward to hearing the update from Greg here, and I will consider one piece of information on any progress to be great news and 2 or more to be AMAZING news.
As for communication, I wonder if the company would consider a facebook page? It might make the job of quickly getting news out to those who care easier and cheaper.
I wait for the update. Thanks again for making this a good and positive board about ISPI!
Mike
Greg, I appreciate your ability to open up a line of communication with the CEO and I especially apprreciate your willingness to share whatever you learn here in a timely matter.
what the rest of us here can continue to do is to stay right on point with our support of InfoSpi and come up with the good questions we would like answered. Some items on the top of my mind are the current status of the infospi website and it's lack of content and links. Is there a change in the works. Also, what is the latest with the Green Hedge Fund?
Below is a great post with some great questions, in my opinion. Any updates we can learn on any of the questions raised in this post, would be helpful.
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=51423965
You got it, Al. I can hold for a year for the gains. That would be better for my tax return anyway. What we have here is a company that is making progress. The stock price is a penny and a half and the market cap is under $1 million!! Does everyone realize the potential here? I'm realistic that if the plans do not come to fruition, we'll go nowhere, but the upside potential is huge!
I sent him an email back in May @ haimmayan@gmail.com. He didn't respond, but I also wasn't asking any specific questions, but just offering my support if the company decides to reach out to the shareholder community for our support.
I agree! Buy, buy, buy!
Go ISPI!
I'm still supportive 100%, but wondering how long we wait for that update from CEO before we consider it a red flag? I guess it could be sitting in Greg's inbox. I haven't sold a single share.
Understandable. Travel plans can change for many reasons. It goes to show that this CEO is not sitting idle. Something big is in the works, and I for one, am looking forward to hearing what it is. ISPI $0.40 coming soon?
Greg, did you get the update from Mayan that he said he would they and get to you by Friday? Just think what will happen to this share price when we get confirmation of a signed contract. I'm not counting my money yet, but it will be fun. The best way to silence any negative opinions of InfoSpi is to produce results. Go ISPI!!
Great post, Scott!! That is the kind of thing I was looking for. Now we can track results to a series of strategic goals. No doubt this list may change over time, but I appreciate you taking the time to gather your thougths in this way. Much appreciated!
What I find interesting with this stock, and different than more actively traded stocks, is I find myself wondering who is selling and who is buying and why. I mean, I have never wondered that with a Citi, Bank of America, or Ford. It has been, and continues to be, a learning experience watching a penny stock company in it's development stage. I am still content to invest mostly in mutual funds and look at my statements quarterly. So, for me this is just a fun game of treasure hunting. So, please keep sharing any insight, opinions, and news. Life lessons can be learned from successes and failures. For example, I had no idea that there were people that were paid to pump a stock, and more strangley that there are people actually paid to bash a stock. Or is that a myth?
If there are people reading these posts and not contributing, like me for the past few months, I for one would love to hear your voice on this board. If you have a few dollars that you can afford to lose, buy some shares of ISPI and hold on for the ride.
GO ISPI!!!
If Mayan wants to go cheap on that news release, I don't really have a problem with it. It's a key hire and great news, but ultimately that's all it is at this moment in time. When this finally results in a multi-million dollar signed contract is when I want the word to get out. For now, we pick up cheap shares.
