All I have to do is look at the past to know the future with SFIO. Convictions, stock freeze, no money to dig out, no direct communications with shareholders. Yeah right, "...don't worry, be happy..." It's all about facing REALITY. Dead is dead.
Update all that he is doing for shareholders? That should take 3 seconds.
Stay Tuned? For What? This channel is dark, dead, off-the-air.
Without attribution claims, stories, possibilities are meaningless. The position that, I know something that you don't and I'm not going to tell you, portends nothing, absolutely nothing.
A SFIO revival is all a bunch of BALDERDASH!!
One of these mornings we are all going to truly "wake up", go to this board and find that it is gone. We'll look for this stock on some stock quote listing....gone. Gone, gone, gone. It's over. Kaput. Nada Mas.
It's worse than that...PressExposure.com, PRlog.com, PR.com...all FREE Press Release services. And they are effective, I have used them in my own business and the releases do get exposure and SEO ranking on Google. It takes 10 minutes to write a Press Release and about that same amount of time to post and distribute online that release. Fact is, there have been no press releases because there is nothing to say, add or contribute to the current situation, which is nowhere.
I'm afraid, IMO, that you correct. Damn pity, great idea, product could have had multiple uses, even medical applications. Can you imagine what the margin would have been for those products. The focus was on the quick buck rather than the long term gains that could have been had. What a shame, what a waste.
And the evidence for "...we're coming back..." is Where and What and When?
Will someone tell me why this total enterprise is not shut down: the company, the stock delisted/eliminated, this board?
How so?
Whoa...there seems to be a building and daily consensus of opinion on this board that SFIO is deader than dead. This seems to have been building over the last several weeks. Is that true or are there any optimists out there who foolishly think this rise from the dead? My opinion as a board contributor...IT'S DEAD FOLKS.
Sorry, free_man, but they don't care.
So true Cyber, that's what slot machine jockeys try to do. They lose and stick more money into the same machine that took it in the first place. Stock market doesn't have to be a casino, careful choices, lots of research into the company and the industry, and you have a chance to break even. If you are lucky make some money on top of principal. The success stories we always hear, the failures sink into oblivion. SFIO, on the other hand, looks like manipulation, greed and theft from the beginning. Which is really too damn bad. A good multi-use product that may have had medical inhalation therapy adaptation and it is blown, so to speak, over stupidity and greed. Just a cryin' shame, there was potential there at one time.
The stock market, large stock or small has nothing to do about fair. It is not fair or unfair, it just is. Either your lucky or unlucky, either you have inside info or you don't. "Here I sit broken hearted...tried to s**t and only farted..." That is where we all are now with SFIO...sitting on the pot waiting for something to happen. It's frustrating...
Dead as dead can be. I haven't checked in with the board for over six months and I see that nothing, absolutely nothing has changed. It appears that this will go on for some time until one day we will all see that the stock doesn't exist, the board doesn't exist, the company has evaporated completely. Folks, this is over, nada mas.
Nothing is happening. Day after day. Week after week. Year after year. The opportunity has passed, the golden ring has been missed. I haven't checked in since last Spring and nothing has changed.
But, I honestly do wish you all on the Board a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Hopefully, the New Year will be good for all of you...healthy, happy and successful...in that order.
Month after month this goes on. Folks, it's over. SFIO is going nowhere. I think it is time for all of us to move on. For those of you who hang on to this dream. I wish you the best of luck but I'm afraid you will all be disappointed in the end. I wish it weren't so. I too believed it was a great and innovative product not only for smoking but for medical inhalation therapy as well. It was a great idea, but greedy stupid people who ran this company augered it into the ground. Too bad, so sad.
Yeah, and no stock value and none possible under these conditions.
Gone, like our invested money, all gone.
Pita...love the picture of your dog's, uh, posterior.
Priceless...
...now?" Last person out, turn off the light and shut the door. This party if over. Wow, am I gonna have a hangover in the morning.
Okay...well...so, what's next....life goes on....?
That's true, Tom. I guess maybe time will erase this explosion incident and people will forget. For some, they will remember and stay away from all products like this. Nothing you can do about that. But maybe this freak accident could also make people aware of the product, maybe spurn some interest.
But yet, here WE are. Locked. No trading. No company reporting to its shareholders. It really is a dismal situation.
Doesn't make any difference what the brand was. Perception will be painted over ALL ecigs, they blow up and smash your mouth.
I agree, but still the perception will remain whatever the truth is, that these things can blow your mouth apart. Marketing is all about consumer perception and belief in your product or service. Shake that faith and it is hard to climb out of that hole.
Oh Yeah? You put something in your mouth and you could loose half your tongue, all your teeth and smash your jaw. People aren't gonna remember that? Tell Toyota that...stuck gas pedals, remember? People who are considering this electric cigarette aren't gonna forget this...
Yep, just saw the story on CNN as well. So, it's
a national story now.
A strange accident has left a Niceville man with severe injuries and burns.
He was smoking an electronic cigarette when it blew up in his face.
Laura Hussey "When firefighters here at the North Bay station got the call there'd been an explosion in someone's home, they thought it might be an oxygen tank. It turns out something much smaller had done some awful damage"
Tom Holloway is a photographer, a Vietnam Veteran, a father of three.
Wendy Jensen/Friend "Just a super nice guy, and he's had some health problems with his lungs and so he, he quit smoking"
Neighbor Wendy Jensen says Holloway had been using electronic cigarettes for about two years.
Monday evening, his wife heard a loud noise from the study.
"She said that it sounded like a firecracker, and it was just a horrible noise, and she heard him scream and she ran in there"
Holloway's cigarette had exploded.
The debris that flew around the room was so hot, it melted everything it touched.
Chief Butch Parker/North Bay Fire District "And what we believe was in the battery, and whenever the battery ignited, it was basically like him holding a bottle rocket in his mouth"
Wendy Jensen "It exploded in his face, and it knocked out all his teeth and part of his tongue and he had blood all over his face, and it set the study on fire"
Jensen says Holloway has been transferred to a burn center.
Firefighters say it was impossible to tell the brand of the electronic cigarette; this is the first time they've heard of one exploding.
Wendy "Oh it's horrible, we were just up all night thinking about it, it's horrible"
Laura Hussey "This incident has been reported to a national database, so any possible patterns can be identified."
Yep, moving from one disaster to another, one garbage pile to another. I've noticed as the days, weeks and months go on this Board is getting darker and darker. The flag wavers few and far between. Is the ultimate outcome sinking in here? How many of us have been posting this is a dead soldier? More and more.
...is lost!
I think you are confusing SFIO with a company that has a strategic plan, published plan, charting out a way-forward toward success. We are stagnant, the stock is locked, there are no pronouncements from senior management, clealy defined, as to how to get out of this doldrum. It really is depressing and disheartening to see no agressive set of plans laid out before the stockholders or the market to move our present condition forward and off the dime. Until there is some creativity and innovation to that end nothing will change with the stock price or its future positive prognosis. We will all be sitting at the price levels we see now for the next six months or year or two years. Unless I see some aggesiveness to change this current condition, I am resigned to continuing stagnation.
To keep the company and themsleves "legal" till the very end so they don't end up in jail with TS as well.
Well, why in the world would you want to buy any SFIO stock? Yeah, I know, buy low sell high. Except it is not going high. It is going nowhere. Month after month this stock goes down down down. Soon, it will be out. It is over folks, for me and the rest of you, it is over. Blue-sky and dream and wish all you want, but, it is kaput.
And, btw, come-back dreamers spouting about how "they want you to sell" and "happy days are here again" anytime soon. Look at the latest friggin financials. That tells the entire story. Any senior management presenting those numbers to a board and share holders would be fired, wholesale management house cleaning for sure. Like the old MMUH, like the barely breathing HPNN, this one is not even on life support, it is in free fall. The bottom has not yet been hit.
So dream on all you blue-skiers, THE END IS NEAR.
Rowdy, I wish I had your hopeful enthusiasm. At one time,
years ago when I got into this stock, I thought the same.
But this lockdown gives us a stake in absolutely nothing. Oh sure we own shares in this stock, but we are prohibited from trade.
We can't influence company decisions or benefit from any
run up, and look at the share price today and the chart since the lockdown. It is a line headed down at a 45 degree angle to oblivion. Like I said, I wish I had your enthusiasm but experience with this company has told me otherwise. Facts are facts; indicted CEO, lockdown, continuing share price drop. It is what it is and hopeful wishing and fluffy press releases will not change the facts on the ground. Cause at this rate, that is where the PPS is headed.
All very true, unfortunately. As long as this lock is in, however long that is, nothing we say here on this board and really nothing the company has to say through their PR missles will change the stockholder positions. That is what is so discouraging and disheartening, there is nothing any of us can do, since we can't buy or sell we have no influence. Writing letters, making calls, sending e-mails means nothing and really wouldn't have any effect. SFIO might as well be a private company. Too bad, so sad, good product ideas.
Tom, which firms?
It's over for SFIO, they are a co-defendents with TS and Fuentes, it is over. Nada mas SFIO, adios amigos. Please someone, tell me I am wrong.
The truth is, nobody knows what the truth is. And if they do, they aren't saying what the truth is. The rest of us are just guessin'.
Ameritrade has been locked for some time, since the beginning of..."the Troubles..."
You know Yankee, it is always that 1/10 of one percent that always gets ya!!
