MDGC: A few days ago, somebody asked about the company's most recent filing. I requested the date and filing type of MediaG3's most recent filing via the live support feature on the Delaware Secretary of State website. The response: "Certificate of amendment for stock filed on 2/18/10." So, as of 10:20 AM today, there have been no new entity filings by the company since the authorized share increase stock amendment filed on Feb. 18, 2010.

MDGC: Scotch, I completely agree with your "There will be news" statement. In my opinion, the company has already received the greatly anticipated AXS report, but has not released its findings because they are still reviewing its content. My understanding is that the report was to be an exhaustive analysis of the entire corporation. The “in the next few days” release target was probably on the optimistic side, but I am confident that once management has finished digesting the report’s content, they will release an edited summary for our reading enjoyment. By edited, I mean void of proprietary information and approved by legal. Again, all in my opinion.

MDGC: Jay Williams, thank you for posting the DD from Choifunds.
The IEEE 802.16 Working Group on Broadband Wireless Access Standards was created in March 1999. The IEEE 802.16 standard wasn't approved until December 2001 (Almost four years after Patent 5,875,396 - Feb. 1999). Amended several times since.
Other LMDS implementations were around before Patent 5,875,396. (From the Background of the Invention) "...The technology employed for use of this spectrum has been designated Local Multipoint Distribution Service (LMDS) and one implementation of a LMDS is disclosed in U.S. patent application Ser. No. 4,747,160 [Low power multi-function cellular television system]. Both LMDS and its predecessor MMDS broadcast multichannel television signals into specified "service areas"..."
U.S. Patent No. 5,875,396 - Multichannel Radio Frequency Transmission System to Deliver Wideband Digital Data Into Independent Sectorized Service Areas - patented Wytec's method and implementation (From the Summary of the Invention) "...The present invention is a digitally-implemented multichannel data distribution system and method using a sectorized RF transmission technique. The invention can be implemented as a one-way signal transmission system or as a two-way signal transmission system..."
In the end, the infringement question will come down to - did other commercial companies use Wytec's patented technology to produce their own LMDS products without paying licensing fees? And the chances of that go WAY up if the IEEE 802.16 standard was heavily influenced by Wytec's patented LMDS implementation.
My earlier post was just to make the distinction between patented technology and standards, but I'm glad we continued the discussion. It shows the potential of MediaG3's intellectual property.
I hope we all get some very good news from Mr. Vitola soon!
All IMHO!

MDGC: It is my understanding that IEEE standards are not patented. However, a standard can include or reference the use of a patented technology. If an IEEE standard is commercially implemented using a patented technology, then patent ownership and licensing fees for Intellectual Property (IP) come into play. That is why IEEE set up Patent Pools to Simplify Standards Adoption.
It is my opinion that MediaG3 does not own LMDS, but owns patent(s) that may have been infringed upon when other companies implemented their own commercial version of the LMDS standard.
I may be splitting hairs, but I believe it is a valid distinction. Every company that implemented commercial LMDS products didn't necessarily infringe on MediaG3's patented technology (but I hope they did!).

MDGC: IMO, NuVuNet.com could be associated with the upcoming IPTV services offered by Imperial Wireless.
From www.mediag3.com/products_and_services.html: "...Imperial Wireless will soon offer IPTV services, cloud applications and several mobile Internet devices..."
How my opinion was derived:
From www.nuvunet.com: "...High definition video streaming technology, available anytime, anywhere with a high speed broadband connection. Watch Full Episodes of your favorite TV Shows, Movies, Sports, Plays, Classes, Webinars, Concerts..."
If you go to www.nuvunet.com and click on Click HERE to continue, you are taken to www.a2access.com/NuVuSignUp1.html. www.a2access.com is now a redirect to www.imperialwimax.com/mg3/www/home.html. And after a few Google searches, I stumbled on www.a2access.com/nuvu/NuVuTest.html, which appears to be a mockup of a potential streaming video player. Also, at the bottom of the page is a link to www.movenetworks.com.
From www.movenetworks.com/about.html: "What is Move? Move Networks is a global provider of comprehensive solutions that delivers the next generation of live, multi-channel television over the Internet..."
Apparently, the Move streaming solution is used by several media outlets. From www.movenetworks.com/history.html: "...The Move solution was immediately embraced by media companies seeking the highest quality streaming solution for their content. In 2007, Move launched its web streaming service with ABC and Fox and quickly added additional customers, such as ESPN360, Televisa, Discovery, CBS, WB and others.
As the online media landscape evolved, Move adapted its strategy to meet the needs of the changing marketplace. In April 2009, Move acquired Inuk Networks, a UK-based company which offered an end-to-end IPTV service that was serving 250,000 university students in the UK .
The resulting combination of Move’s best-in-class streaming technology with Inuk’s IPTV delivery platform creates the next generation of television: a comprehensive platform that couples live, multi-channel television with the mobility, functionality, and interactive features of the Internet to provide a rich multimedia experience for consumers on their television, personal computer, and mobile device."

MDGC: Is WiMAX a Stepping Stone to LTE?
The article below is based on an interview with Ian Goetz, Director of Core Network Solutions for AIRCOM International. AIRCOM International specializes in end-to-end radio network design solutions for wireless networks.
From WiMAX, LTE and Femtocells - Some Insights from AIRCOM International (July 09, 2009):
"...Just how hard would it be to migrate a fully functioning WiMAX network to LTE?...“Many of the WiMAX hardware manufacturers already are pitching that they can migrate their equipment to be LTE compatible and/or ride the same volume curve,” says Goetz. “The latest base stations, such as the RBS6000 from Ericsson, use software-defined radios that accommodate any technology that an operator wants to deploy. Given this flexibility, since the price of the hardware is a greater driver than the software in new technology rollouts, operators could chose to load WiMAX now in strategic, targeted instances, knowing that they can migrate those network components to LTE later. Also, operators that are currently deploying a WiMAX network with new base stations have the comfort of knowing that they could evolve to LTE down the road.”..."
I know this article doesn't necessarily relate to MediaG3's technology, but it contains some good information. I encourage everyone to become somewhat knowledgeable of the subject as we await a definitive statement regarding MediaG3's product capabilities.

EVRN: No problem. Here's my near-term predication:
Disclaimer: The following is my personal opinion. I encourage everyone to perform their own due diligence and make investing decisions accordingly.
In my opinion, in order to capitalize on the momentum generated by the paid promotion and associated increase in volume, the current PR blitz isn't over and we will see another PR (or two) soon. I believe the subject of one of the PR(s) will be the production schedule and the timing of product availability (maybe the end of April or the start of May). The associated anticipation of this event actually occurring will, in all likelihood, generate an appreciation in share price. However, I do not believe it will be sustainable in the near-term due to the following:
1. The much anticipated production schedule PR will either not include financing information or will be vague on the subject.
2. The scope of the initial production run(s) will be limited and targeted to specific consumer areas due to limited financial resources associated with the current economic environment.
3. Once the details of the production financing are released, the associated increase in O/S and float will overshadow the revenue generated in the near-term.
Again this is my personal opinion based on my DD. I still want to see the company succeed and I think they have great long-term potential. Generating revenue will definitely be a big step in the right direction.
Oh, before I forget, if the company has acquired a major financial investor to back them to primetime (nationwide) or if one of the big players decides to just buy the company, all previous statements made in this post are to be considered null and void. Thank you.
