Only writing what I've been told, and the info wasnt from some Joe Shmo.... And of course they arent going to put $25 million in without some huge concession. That was the whole point in this firm saying that... CD first has to prove that it is there... Which will take lots of drilling and money to do that. But when that happens, this firm wont be the only ones putting money in.
what I was told is that that money would be put into the market, not for private placement. I was told the fund has 400 miilion to play with just for the mining sector and none of it has been allocated anywhere yet....
On more release with some good drills showing continuity will give the price more sustainability... just continue to accumulate shares on these pull backs. There is a bank in New York that told CD that if they can can show that this deposit is there and that it is as big as they think, then they will pile $25 million dollars into the stock. Just imagine what that would do to the share price as all the asks get taken out on the way up...
Nothing other than management has some friends that they want to help make a lot of money by getting them in at 50 cents...
Ive been told that there is a large fund in New York that has told CD about TPW, " If you can show that it's there we will pile in $25 million and buy up all the stock that we can." Just imagine if they were to do that, and how fast that money would take out all the bids on its way up...
Wisdom,
thanks for that. My question is... "Why are we having a hard time drilling at TPW... because of the drill? or because of the rock that we are drilling through? I didn't follow that.
McCoach is a friend of mine, and no, he was not a paid by explor for his excitement in the company early las year... After Lake Shore Gold hit their glory hole and they realized how much gold was there and that it was deeper than they had ever dug, the geologists in the area started talking about how much gold explor might have because the porphyry on explor's property is that much bigger. Well, lets just say because of the excitement from lake shore gold's find, it carried over to the geologists and explor management and then that excitement was pushed on to McCoach. McCoach still holds a huge share portion in the company. I believe its still one of his largest holdings. Its just going to take longer than was first expected to find what they are looking for, and to prove up all that gold... Explor is just horrible with their investor awareness. Really smart management team though when it comes to geology and structure. We just need to hope we will be able to drill kidd creek this year because that could make us rich overnight. If we cant get that drill soon to start drilling Im going to be sick to my stomach...
It was out about an hour and a half before the close... Shouldnt affect share price because its not one of their flagship properties.... if we get results like that from TPW or KIDD, then itll affect..
Not really, but their intent on the drilling was to test for strike length and maybe some cross cutting of faults... they also think the there may be a new gold zone that runs parallel to the lynx gold zone... The results came out on friday which usually represent, "not very good", because most investors just want to see big numbers, and dont understand what they were doing... At the end of the release they mention that the results were positive... and to that, at the end you need to make sure that you read the part where they think the possibility of an entire new gold camp is possible. That in itself would be great. The problem is that its going to take a lot more money to show that. Well, we need lots of money for timmins and many other properties too, to do the drilling. If they believe they have an entire new gold camp sitting there, I think it would be wise to get the work done they need, to bring in a Joint Venture who has the money to get this stuff taken care of... anybody with any thoughts on that... help me out if you see something different?
only this time they said... before thursday.... haha
sometime next week is what we are being told.... but then again we have heard that one before...
well somebody is selling today... it looks like someone unloaded almost 100,000 shares at market... Im just guessing that all those shares were from the same person as the trades went through because the way they went through...

Thanks... just wanted to know if i was missing something i didnt know... appreciate it...
What message was deleted today... what did it say and why was it deleted?
hmmm down 5 cents on 22,000 volume... on the canadian side volume is only 70,000...
Today is a perfect example of what you are talking about.... down 10% on very little volume... wish I had more money to pick up cheap shares on days like these... The MM's I believe will continue to have their way until Gary and the Crew can get some good drills out and public... and not like what we had in the fall. We all know that those results did nothing for the share price. The Market is looking for that glory hole.
EXSFF will always follow EXS.V... When you purchase shares of Explor in the states the brokerages first look for those shares stateside. If nobody stateside is selling then they go to the canadian markets to pick up the shares. The two symbols will always follow each other. There are two things that will make the two symbols different... 1. when one market is open and the other is closed. 2. The US dollar and Canadian dollar exchange rate. So if you are investing from the states, you have two things working for you. As the dollar declines in regards to the canadian dollar, EXSFF is going to rise in price to compensate for that exchange rate. So by having your money parked in any canadian based company you are essentially taking your money out of the dollar and investing in the canadian dollar as well as that company. Right now the canadian dollar and the US dollar are about equal, thus the two symbols are about equal.
Reason for wanting to wager that?..... especially with exclamation points after the question?
I think that they will just release both the results at the same time in the same PR. The Headline to the PR will read in bold the good results and then the bad part of the results will be buried in the bottom of the release somewhere putting all the attention on the good.... thats just my opinion though. I still dont know if good results will even boost the share price. I think we need great results to get it moving, or of course, the anticipation of great results like we've seen before...
this was posted over at stockhouse today...
"Montrose and Eastford lake are finished drilling and assays are at geologists. Sounds like around 15th to 20th this month unless CD gets results back before end of week as he is going on site.My guess is timmins as they are on the third hole and all is going as expected.Whatever that means. Timmins results wont be till end of January. If you see Timmins results before end of January, use your imagination as they have rushed them through"
No, Im actually not from the area... It was IR who said they were happy with what was coming out of the ground. Also someone on stockhouse also said that IR told them that as well, and Greg McCoach was told that as well... Best thing to do would be to call IR personally and ask them about how the drilling is going and also about eastford and montrose. Im excited about Kidd creek as well. And I believe that its only a matter of time before they hit something big. Jim Sinclair has been saying for 9 years that gold will hit over $1600/ ounce by mid january 2011. Hopefully we get sweet results from explor in january from this 3rd round of drilling with gold at $1600!
I dont know about eastford lake and montrose.... Im guessing that the results werent the greatest and thus the reason why we havent seen the PR about those. I do know that the 3rd round of drilling at timmins is going good and that they are excited about what is coming out of the ground but we wont get those results for 2 months they said. I fear that your friends who sold all their shares dont understand the mining industry very well. It is very rare for a company to get stellar results the first or second time they put drills in the ground on a property. I understand that other companies have put drills in the ground on this property but Explor is doing the drilling different than the other companies before. If your friends understood the results from the second round of drilling on timmins they would have been able to see the writing on the wall that they are getting closer to finding the source of all this mineralization. These cheap shares are great for those who understand what is going on. I will say that it does suck having to wait but if you are an investor things take time. There is no reason to sell with the results that we have been getting from timmins. All signs point to management getting closer to the elephant under the ground and hopefully the grade and the width is as good as we hope.
the last time they did that the results for TPW 1 werent that great. they said they had sent some of the results back to the lab for further analysis... anybody have any other ideas as to why they would do that?
Thanks for that confirmation!
I dont know if its true or not, but I was told that someone put in an order for 340,000 shares and thats briefly when the price went to 1.57... With Eastford Lake results due out any day, hopefully thats a sign that somebody knows something and that we'll have good results the beginning of next week.
