I agree with you Sharktnk. I've gone back and re-researched all the reasons I bought this stock in the first place. I believe we are dealing with big tobacco companies, the FDA, and the government. Perhaps when the tobacco companies have to disclose the ingredients of traditional cigarettes in June we will get a little relief. Again, I do believe once the government figures out how to get their cut then the ban will be lifted and we will see advertising every where. Until then....buy more? I don't know but I will definitely hold what I have.
Sure would be nice. I'd love to see an upward move soon.
Yeah, my husband thought I should have sold when it was coming down from the .09 at about .07 but NO, I thought it would definitely go back up...LOL I've been eating crow for a while now but I do believe it will come back up and go beyond .09 it's a matter of waiting at this point.
GLTA
And hopefully in the near future we will be Proud Money Holders
Let's hope for a huge gap up.
OK, I'm starting to get that sick feeling now...LOL
Gotta wonder if they know how to release a good PR
Yes it did, I'm kind of glad that I was gone for the day and found out this evening. But I think this is the time to get back in to average down. I've got quiet a few shares averaging around .032. I still believe in this company and as a ecig user, I much prefer the vapor. It feels more like smoking and I can smoke in the house. Haven't done that in years. I may have to sit on this for a while but I still think it will be a really good retirement.
Gunner, I think it was but any time I mention that someone is quick to remind me that most of MMUH's business is outside the US so I have given up on commenting on that. But yes, that is when the bleed began, IMO
You're absolutely right. The only reason I think the FDA can influence this stock is that it may scare some into thinking ecigs not be safe when the FDA is banning shipments into the US. This fear prevents people from trying it and therefore very little word of mouth advertising. Until FDA approval there will be no advertising in certain areas. Again, I know that the majority of MMUH's market is overseas but I believe it would help the stock if more people knew about it. I have been a smoker for years but didn't find out about ecigarettes or MMUH until this past Dec from a report sent by biomeds.
I feel your pain. We first bought in at .05 but have averaged down to .03. I need to get more now that the price is so low but we have so very much invested now. I need more money...LOL
I have also bought 2 different ones. I tried one that is called a Spade that doesn't look anything at all like a cigarette but has a really full flavor and a strong throat hit. You put your own juice in it and do what is called dripping. Yet I like the one that looks like a cigarette better even though it is weaker and less flavor. It lights up on the end and even has that burning sound when you take a draw off of it. The flavor is better and there is no afer taste (as do traditional cigarettes). And all you have to do is replace a cartridge. This one is like what MMUH has.
Once news of this really gets out, the FDA backs off, and proper advertising is done I believe ecigs will replace traditional cigarettes for the majority. JMHO
I am still holding but it wasn't that I married it but that I didn't see the drop coming and then I really didn't think it would continue as it has. I still believe in ecigs and MMUH so I may have to wait but I'm thinking this could be a really good retirement.

DC Circ. Stay Allows FDA To Stop E-Cigarette Sales
By Ben James
Law360, New York (February 02, 2010) -- A federal appeals court temporarily stayed a district court order on Tuesday that barred the U.S. Food and Drug Administration from stopping electronic cigarettes from coming into the U.S., after the FDA brought an interlocutory appeal challenging the trial judge's decision.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit temporarily stayed the Jan. 14 preliminary injunction in order to give the court more time to mull the FDA's emergency motion for a more permanent stay pending appeal.
At issue is U.S. District Judge Richard J. Leon's decision to grant bids for a preliminary injunction from plaintiff Smoking Everywhere Inc. and intervenor-plaintiff Soterra Inc., which does business as NJOY.
The plaintiffs claim the FDA lacks the authority to regulate electronic cigarettes as a banned product under the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act.
While the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act gives the FDA the authority to regulate tobacco products, it cannot regulate those products as it would a drug or device under the FDCA, Judge Leon said.
Judge Leon pointed to the U.S. Supreme Court's 2000 decision in FDA v. Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corp., in which the high court decided that regulating cigarettes and smokeless tobacco as drugs or devices would essentially lead to those products being banned, which was not what Congress intended.
But the Supreme Court did not intend for its ruling in the Brown & Williamson case to preclude regulation of any and all products that provided users with nicotine, the FDA argued in the emergency motion filed Monday.
The FDA said the injunction was "premised on legal error" and noted that the FDA has for years regulated products like nicotine patches and nicotine lollipops under the FDCA's drug and device provisions.
The FDA added that the injury stemming from the importation and distribution of electronic cigarettes was irreparable, and said that "the court was quite wrong to believe that no injury would result from the use of these harmful and addictive products."
On Tuesday, an FDA representative declined to comment, referring Law360 to the agency's court filings. Attorneys for both NJOY and Smoke Everywhere did not immediately respond to calls seeking comment.
Smoking Everywhere sued the FDA in April 2009 after the agency detained and scheduled for destruction a shipment of electronic cigarettes and notified the distributor that the product violated the FDCA as an unapproved drug-device combination because, among other things, it is intended to treat withdrawal symptoms. NJOY joined the case after a shipment of its own electronic cigarettes was similarly impounded.
Electronic cigarettes allow a user to vaporize and inhale a liquid nicotine mixture derived from tobacco plants, mimicking the act of smoking traditional cigarettes while purportedly avoiding the cancer-causing byproducts.
Smoking Everywhere is represented in this matter by Thompson Hine LLP.
Sottera is represented by Latham & Watkins LLP.
The case is Smoking Everywhere Inc. et al. v. U.S. Food and Drug Administration et al., case number 10-5032, in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.

Perhaps you should sell
!?!?!?!? That looks like a personal problem...LOL The FDA is still fighting and unless something has been released saying otherwise that I have not heard, they are still banning shipments. In fact because of the FDA you cannot do transactions with Paypal with anything suggesting ecigarettes in the title or body because of the FDA
Before you take a loss, just stop and remember why you bought in the first place. If you did you DD before buying, then understand it is still the same company. This is just my opinion and I really don't care if the price does drop some more (I know it will come back up) so I'm not encouraging you not to sell for my benefit. I am holding strong and know that I may have to wait a bit on this one because the potential is huge. I don't think the FDA will win on this one. It's just a matter of time before this really takes off.
Over half the trades of yesterday were shorted. Thanks for posting.
so true
Thank you, I hope everybody signs it and sends it to everyone they know and then maybe the FDA will start making some changes.

Goodmorning
I don't want to sound like a wet blanket but the website is the same as it has been for some time, only allowing distributors to sign up. I could be mistaken but I also thought Thirdleg was the one who set up Facebook. But it would be really nice if they would release some pr.
Exactly, so why would anyone sell at a loss. It has done this before and it will do it again. It's penny stock.
It will come back up eventually. Great post.
I like your optimism Fink
Don't forget that after the .05 run in late December it bottomed at about.009 before climbing to .09. Just because it's down doesn't mean it will stay there. Those who got discouraged at the .009and sold were left chasing.
Personally, I have a very good position and I'm gonna hold even if it's a year because I know I can make more off this stock when the FDA backs off and it starts to run than I can doing day trading.
GLTA
I did too yesterday but I'm still holding all of my MMUH
ecigarette stocks are funny
SFIO got the contract and another piece of PR this morning, went up and came right back down. What's with that?
I think maybe a lot of investors are doing just that. I'm holding quiet a few shares of MMUH and would hate to sell at a loss but I've been wondering why they aren't coming out with some informative news. We really do need it.
It's already showing up on my scottrade account for SFIO
Great post, let's hope it helps the pps today
Not all of them. I bought mine "made and shipped in america"
How low can this go without going away completely? I purchased several months ago and have been holding because scottrade wouldn't allow buys only sales. So now I see it's at .0001 and I'm wondering at what point is all of my money gone. LOL, but not really a laughing matter.
let me check my crystal ball....hmmmmm my readings are much higher
LOL
Who knows?
Check out the link, many uses for PG. People ingest it all the time and never know it.

I stopped by another cigarette shop today and inquired about ecigarettes and they informed me that they don't carry them. I asked why, they replied "it hurts our business"
We are fighting the tobacco industry, the FDA, and who only knows who else. However, the American people will not just accept the BS from the government, they will make their own decisions and then IMHO this will rock.
e) soon
Thank you, that is good to hear. Can't wait to get some news.
I'm a little confused. I read in the PR "It is anticipated that this transaction will close in the second quarter 2010." So why is everyone thinking there will be a PR so soon. I am holding a good deal of shares and holding strong so please don't think I'm bashing. I'm just wondering what I'm missing.
Yes it would and it would also leave a lot of people hurting...lol
