Er0ck..BiG Question if you would..Vale denies iron ore price fixing accusations
What are your thoughts on this subject and how it deals with any JV or Future Jv agreements with Vale.
Observations:
Vale, Rio Tinto and BHP Billiton produce approx. 2/3 of exported (seaborne) iron ore. Vale is the largest of the 3 with 28% (240 m tonnes) of total exports.
Demand for iron ore is rather inelastic to price changes. Steel makers are generally willing and able to pass on price increases to end consumers.
Implications:
Due to the nature of the iron ore industry (homogeneous product, oligopolistic structure, strong ties among players) the threat of cartel forming is ever present. BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto and Vale will therefore need to be very carefull in their actions and will always need to be prepared to explain what they are doing.
Not only explicit price fixing (price levels agreed among producers), but also implicit price fixing (producers all understand it is in their best interest to keep price levels high and act on it) is punishable. It is certainly possible that a competition authority will find the iron ore producers guilty of implicit cartel forming.
“Vale, the Brazilian iron ore miner, yesterday defended itself against Chinese accusations that its iron ore prices are too high, saying that supply and demand are fixing prices, not the big iron ore miners.
Roger Agnelli, Vale chief executive, told a press conference in Shanghai: ‘Vale is not fixing prices: who is fixing the prices is the market.
Steelmakers and Chinese officials have repeatedly complained about the concentration of power in the world iron ore market in the hands of three big producers, which also include Rio Tinto and BHP Billiton.
The dispute has ramifications for the global economy as iron ore prices feed through to steel prices, impacting the price of every-day goods.
Steelmakers were forced to accept a 90-100 per cent increase in iron ore prices in the second quarter after the annual benchmark system of pricing broke down.”

Well said Cisckid..This is a bargain sale and I am glad I am, personally, and know friends who are still picking up even more shares this week. Katx is not a stock for crybabies, or those that do not understand what being "filthy" rich really means and what it takes to get there. Do you think Ken gives a damn about Nite, It is probably on his last to do list, Right after drilling his huge copper and gold reserves....Anyone think he is crying?
This is the same man who went over a year without a paycheck because he was dumping it all into his future business of becoming a successful junior mining exploration company. If you can't afford more this week, turn off your laptop, take a vacation, and a week later - It will be like nothing ever happened.

Ciskid....The Big money always follows the same trended "pattern" of cashing huge bankrolls into their own accounts. Definetly going to be a new model to follow for me at least. MM's will always do their thing, but N1 403's will ALWAYS do theirs as well. I agree fully that this is yet another one for the books.
"How does this keep happening? Well, follow the best DD, Knowledge, and Friends/financing their is to offer!
well...Jay Jay.....We all had this discussion months ago and came up the consensus that Mining companies like Vale and Tek who own their own equipment, dont need special permits to drill on your lands, and with easy access to roads - Having their own geologists and crewsss'sss plural on staff and owning their own ASSAY office to prevent backlogging...
My guess is about a week - start to end - two holes done!
Just in Zwicker: Now, I am expecting a monster PR to end all Nite's misery! Mark my words.

Mr. Zwicker,
I do appreciate your quick response so late in the day. So Can I take it that Kat Explorations has field crews focusing on multiple properties at present. Can you tell me which ones are the current focus. Guessing you say Handcamp and lucky of course - Is this currently the case or are there others currently as well?

Mr. Roberto,
You probably are not expecting a response this late in the day but I happen to be in my office and so I will give you a brief reply. We believe all of our properties have merit or we would not hold them. Please be assured that we have the personnel to guide us as to which properties we will give attention to at any given time, while not neglecting any of them. It would be few if any exploration companies that could have a field crew working on them all at one time with the number that we have in our company. We are pleased with where we are and the properties that we are focusing on at this time. When we feel the time is right, we will release a PR on all of our properties and the results from the work of our field crew, as well as other information necessary to keep all informed. Thank you for your continued interest in KAT.

Mr. Zwicker,
Thank you for your up response concerning the PDAC- should be interesting for everyone from all past data and research regarding, not just a couple, but, everyone of their excellent properties. One question I forgot to ask, however, is concerning the private investors and dual listing and upgrade to another exchange which was mentioned by Mr. Stead in the previous months press release. Do you think that is still a possibility to work on in the short term, or put off longer out after all the excitement of March is over with? I will try to keep this short just because I know come this weekend, I have a feeling you might get swamped. Still much appreciated to the encouragement you suggest to us all.

Mr. Roberto,
In answer the question the purpose of Kat attending the upcoming PDAC is to get the interest of various mining companies with what we have to offer in our properties. The Handcamp certainly being one. We are not at the point of drilling at this stage. You know that the winter in Newfoundland can be somewhat unpredictable. We are very excited to be attended at the conference and will be holding a number of meetings with different companies as mentioned. As regards PR, please keep watching our web site for news for ongoing test results and other facets related to our company. Thank you for your contained interest in Kat and we encourage continuing to do so.

Mr. Zwicker,
I have currently been a long time investor in Kat Explorations over the past year with a few others and I just wanted to let you know that a lot of us on Investor's Hub surely back our CEO Ken Stead. A great man with great business sense. I know he is super busy as of lately, but my question concerns the PDAC Conference coming up this March in a couple of weeks. Will Kat explorations have much of the drilling done on twilite and handcamp to bring, and regards to the private investor financing and newly acquired meetings with certain mining companies that week of march, can we expect any pr's to be released. I guess most of us here are looking for the handcamp samples that were sent in to see the quality of gold. In greatest regards to both you and the CEO Mr. Stead and his Family. Thank you for taking the time to help him out in answering the many emails and phones he has been recieving. Any information with the conference or sampling would be of great value to us here. KATX has a good solid following who will stand behind this company.

Have a reminder for all invested. ~~ Now I know you have all heard this, and "some" have refuted the case as falsehood, - fully expecting to get your reply JB and others to fill My Mailbox after such. But New DD, and not the kind you can find just by googling it, but from actually talking on the phone and privately with those who know......sorry Bob ...not you unfortunately - But thanks for your input as well.
"Reminder for all longs, and Katx loving investors to look back at their accounts..Don't place stop limits, dont trade on Margins and the number 1 thing AGAIN, Put in a sell order with your broker on your shares. Doesnt have to be high as hell, could be broken up, but I know many new shares of Katx have been bought since the last 3 months and many might have forgotten to do this on their new shares as well.
MM's will make a market based on Level 3 anyways...I hear...I also hear that if they wanted to say put a price of 10 cents or 30 cents, that day they will do so. That is their job to create liquidity.
With saying so, I also have been recently schooled DD wise again, not you bob, sorry, but MM's do this making huge profits hoping a company turns out to be without substance, back, honesty, and truth. Not so with Ken or Katx
Katx is a whole different boat. So what if we closed today at 136, Some recently have said even lower. It doesnt matter for the simple reason KATX is a company with the opposite objectives the MM's have guessed on. STOCK OF THE CENTURY because it has substance truth, and can be backed up as many I am sure are personally aware and can attest to with their own private dealings so to say with Jack or Ken.
Big Reminder Again though: For all your new stocks you have bought, place a SELL order in to secure it.
Again, some will say it doesnt work, they have a loophole between them trading blocks on L3 each day....da dad da da dayadadadaadada
Again, Recent DD has told me otherwise this weekend. On top of old DD done by Stervc, and others in past history here.
"A wise man told me once, if you want the truth, dont just go searching for it. You have to actually ask from the horse's own mouth. Grab some Balls, humans are only humans.......I would call Donald Trump myself first thing if I bought his stock and had a question.
And you know what, Probably get him personally. Simple and Sweet and that is really how to trade a stock you believe in. Don't listen to others you don't know.
You are always so right putting it mildly "Calm and Stong ....might have to do with that Nostradamus effect reigning from you.
One way of looking at it with out over simplification is this,
Property claims may be in the name of various famliy members, yet they are transfered at the last minute to complete the deals made so far. It made no difference to Vale, or the Bvig deal that the claims were not in Katx.s name during negotiations etc.
CEOCFO: Mr. Stead, what is the focus of KAT?
Mr. Stead: “Our focus is precious metals and base metals. We want to bring our properties to a level where we can do feasibility studies on the deposits and possibly joint venture with a major company. I have done that quite often in the past with my former company, Cornerstone Resources Inc. We joint ventured with major world companies such as Phelps Dodge, Noranda and others. So I know how the field works and it is to a company’s benefit, to have the backing of major companies to offset the costs of drill programs and even the intense exploration on some of our best projects.”
CEOCFO: What do you like about the area you are in now?
Mr. Stead: “It is an area where you are born and you are quite familiar with. We know the geology. We know many of the government officials with the Department of Mining and Energy, and they are quite helpful in all the research they have done down through the years. Quite often if you go to their data bank it will point you to areas where they have discovered minor showing of copper, gold, silver and so on. We explore these areas. Throughout the province there has been a lot of logging throughout the years, so accessibility to logged areas is very good. The province itself has had a number of Gold mines and are still producing some with others coming on stream for production. The government is always out in the forefront encouraging exploration in mining and oil as we are becoming a major player in oil. With that kind of combination of oil and minerals it makes it easy for us to explore, so if you put it all together it becomes an exciting area. With the experience and success we have had in the past, we just continue on with what we know and do best. The area still has quite large land packages that are under-explored or not explored at all and we have discovered many mineral occurrences that currently we have not staked. So it still lends itself to lots of exploration in the future.”
CEOCFO: How come so much is underexplored if it is such a pro-mining area?
Mr. Stead: “That’s an interesting question”. If you go back into the history of Newfoundland you will find that there was lots and lots of mining. There were numerous copper mines, silver mines and a few other products way back in the 1800’s and early to mid 1900’s. But we are in a province of only half-a-million people yet our land mass is equal to that of England. So I guess when it comes to economics, Newfoundland was always one of the poorer provinces of Canada. Only recently had we actually risen above the entire country because of oil and mining production. Therefore, when the commodity prices became worth exploring, a lot of major companies came to the province following up on some old work that had been done by companies like Noranda way back in the early 1900’s and mid-1950’s and 60’s. They had left because the prices of metals were down. When it was down, they discovered that it wasn’t feasible to continue exploration, so a lot of companies came in on the backs of that work along with new discoveries. With that said and done, a lot of prospectors took an interest because companies came in and employed some of the locals to do the work and from that they formed their own little exploration companies. So over the last ten to fifteen years, you had a lot of that happening, which generated more discoveries and interest in the province. Therefore, it has become like a whole new industry here in Newfoundland with a lot more prospectors coming to the fore. When you go to mining shows and exhibits and display what you have discovered it attracts the attention of world-class companies and that also brings some to Newfoundland. It has really taken on a life of its own.”
CEOCFO: Would you give us a little rundown on the projects you are working on now?
Mr. Stead: “Right now we are working on our Handcamp Gold Property which is a very high-grade gold property. When I say high-grade that is from 158 grams of gold per ton in some grab samples. Yet we did a channel sample of approx..30 feet with a little over 7 grams of gold across the exposed outcrop; this is right on the surface. With the Handcamp Gold Property right now, we are working out a drill program. We were hoping for late summer, but it may be early fall, which is a good time actually for us here; the weather won’t be so hot. That particular property had some work done on it and there is a lot of base metals tied in with the gold, so it is sort of a semi-massive sulphides and gold property. That property is just south of the new gold processing facility, which just opened this year by Anaconda Mining. That in itself is just south of what used to be the Nugget Pond Gold Mine, which is now being operated by Crew Gold and then there’s the Duck Pond Deposit, which is being mined as a massive sulphide deposit, and is a bit to the south also.
Our Handcamp Gold Property is very exciting and of great interest for us to move it forward. It is right in the mining district where there are operating gold mines. So it would be an easy property for us to either farm out or to probably sell outright if we do our own work and bring it to feasibility study to determine what the reserve is.
We have another property called “Rusty Ridge” and by means of an airborne survey and some ground geophysics it too is ready for drilling. There was an interpretation done by an independent geophysics company from Vancouver, on the other side of Canada, who likened many of the signatures that we are finding to that of the Olympic Dam in Australia. That is actually their words not ours. We have two deep targets, so the idea is to get down there and see what those targets are. While it is a costly operation, we will venture it ourselves but would hope to joint venture it with another company. The only thing is, with the Handcamp Gold Property a priority, we are not sure if we will get a drill on the Rusty Ridge this year. If we can find the time to promote it and get a major company to come and use their money, well that will really help. However, if not we will test that deposit ourselves. If it is what we hope it is, it would probably turn this area into a whole brand-new exploration play for major companies because these deposits are kind of rare in that they host nearly all the major minerals. They have base metals, gold, silver and uranium along with rare-earth minerals. If it turns out to be an economical deposit, one can imagine how other companies will take interest in the whole region looking for more of these deposits.
We are excited about that property, but it is a property that if the Handcamp Gold Property starts turning out what we think it might, because of gold prices today, we may just continue with that one and do the Rusty Ridge a little later. Other than that, we have several copper/silver combination properties, and lots more to go if we want to stake what we have been finding. For now, these properties we have in our portfolio, and will hopefully bring in another gold property, which we are now considering that also has great potential. As a new company just coming on, there is overhead, and a higher burn rate in adding more properties to our portfolio, so we will be cautious not to spread ourselves to thin. Therefore, we don’t want to waste money when we can focus in areas of high interest and hopefully areas that will catch the attention of investors because the company has done good work on good properties.”
CEOCFO: A well thought out plan!
Mr. Stead: “We think so”. That is the normal way of thinking in this industry as I have learned from past experience. We have a good crew and good properties, and lots of potential for other properties as well. As the company grows, we will certainly expand our operations to other parts of the province. In the many under-explored areas, it would take a chopper to get there, but we have done that quite often in the past and will continue to take advantage of that in the future. When you get into these areas you can be sure that the average prospector who is operating on small government grants and their own money, haven’t been in these areas because they just can’t afford the expense. So there are some areas that we have our eye on and if we don’t get to them this year we will next year. In the meantime we certainly have a full slate of work programs for this year. So far with our stock, we are generating interest from investors according to recent trading, especially over the last few days, so we are quite pleased.”
CEOCFO: How do you attract people to the stock?
Mr. Stead: “The way we work is, we have a group in Vancouver who are engaged in helping fund the company and took us under their wing for an equity stake in the company and managed to take us public. In the meantime, we are attracting people to our stock through marketing, and with media groups like you guys right now, as well as press releases. In the past I had known quite a few major companies and we would hope to take advantage of them as time goes by and hopefully some of these will take an interest in the company as well. Again, we are quite pleased that we have generated so much interest so quickly. We think now with the ongoing programs we have and good management team, we can establish a good investor base and retain our stock through a decent price.”
CEOCFO: In closing, why should potential investors pick Kat out of the crowd?
Mr. Stead: “We feel like we are an exciting company. We have a field crew that knows what they are doing. We have some good past experience. Again, we are not a fly-by-night company; we are located in an area that is under-explored where in recent times have made new economical discoveries. If you were living in Canada and were monitoring province-by-province, you would find that Newfoundland has become one of the most exciting exploration provinces in the whole country. Our economy is a booming economy here in Newfoundland due mainly because of oil and mining. INCO has recently brought the Voisey’s Bay Nickel/Cobalt Deposit into production which is a very rich deposit found in the Labrador part of the province. They are now in the process of building a $2 billion smelter refinery in Long Harbor. So the province itself is very exciting when it comes to new mining and oil discoveries. So KAT Exploration has great plans of moving forward, and we know what we are doing. We have good properties, good prospects, and good mining operations next door to us, so we can sell any discovered deposits. The government is mining friendly with great infrastructure in place. When all is said and done, we see ourselves as having a long prosperous future with all of this at our fingertips. So if investors are looking for a company that is going to be around for awhile, KAT will be around awhile for sure.”

FIRST Colliers
Quote:
The Colliers property, located on the eastern portion of the province of Newfoundland, is a copper mineralization occurrence in the subaerial mafic volcanic rocks which usually contain one or more of the native copper, chalcocite, chalcopyrite, covellite or bornite in veins, amygdule fillings, disseminations and shear zones.. High grade Copper/Silver with assays have been found returning values in grab samples as high as 23.6% Copper and 236.3 g/t Silver. The occurrence was first discovered in 1858 at which time a small shaft was sun
THEN Rusty Ridge
Quote:
Newfoundland, Nov 25, 2009 -- Kat Exploration Inc. (OTC-Pink Sheets: KATX) Kat Exploration is pleased to announce the results of its latest work program on its 100% wholly owned Iron Oxide, Copper, Gold(IOCG) "Rusty Ridge" property. Coincidental magnetic Induced Polorization(IP) resistivity and soil geochemical anomalies suggest potential for a body of Iron Oxide +/- Base, Precious and Rare Earth type mineralization, similar in style and setting to the giant Olympic Dam deposit in Australia.
The Rusty Ridge is located within a continental extensional environment within peralkaline rocks emplaced adjacent to a regional fault system. The presence of a large magnetic body appears to be intrusive into the overlying rock sequences that appear regionally altered, are variably pyretic and contain vein type fluorite mineralization and appears to suggest a magnetic origin for the mineralization.
The latest work program carried out on the far northern portion of the property has revealed new gold discoveries as high as 2 g/t and elevated Light Rare Earth Elements (LREE).
This latest discovery is of most interest to the company as it is approximately 1kms from the magnetic anomalies in an under explored area.
Coincidental with this are moderate to strong IP chargeability anomalies that suggest a significant concentration of sulfides. Those large anomalies have been determined as future drill targets that Kat would hope to test mid 2010.
In addition, the soil geochemistry also produced anomalies in silver, gold and copper
AND Shaylee-
CEO Ken Stead on recent activity on Rusty Ridge and the Shaylee
Hi Ken,
At the end of March you told me “JV ventures are always welcomed, but the Shaylee property will receive an exploration program later in the year but will get some attention as we move along with the Rusty Ridge project because it is right next to the RR boundaries.” does this mean that you have a JV in the pipeline for Rusty Ridge?
Kind regards,
Rick-UK
-----
Not Necessarily, we have made a few new and unexpected discoveries on the RR [Rusty Ridge] during our last period of sampling so we will continue with a summers program of the same and spend some time on the Shaylee right next door.
Ken
So, should we be getting a Press Release soon on sample results from Rusty Ridge and Shaylee?

KAT recently added claims to BOTH Twilite and Handcamp. KATX also recently staked 346 new claims of approximately 125sq KM just south of Lucky, and due to significant gold discoveries thus far, the company again decided to stake another 52 claims to the North of Handcamp, in the same belt of rock covering several very impressive gold and copper showings extending the overall property to 37sq KM's.
AND Finally Lucky
Marketwire - January 27, 2010) - Kat Exploration Inc. (PINKSHEETS: KATX) has been busy uncovering new copper showings on its 100% wholly owned "Lucky" Property with very impressive malachite and chalcocite discovered in its latest trenching.
The trenching took place within the same horizon where recently discovered copper returned results of up to 2.5% CU over 8 Miles in length

FIRST Colliers
The Colliers property, located on the eastern portion of the province of Newfoundland, is a copper mineralization occurrence in the subaerial mafic volcanic rocks which usually contain one or more of the native copper, chalcocite, chalcopyrite, covellite or bornite in veins, amygdule fillings, disseminations and shear zones.. High grade Copper/Silver with assays have been found returning values in grab samples as high as 23.6% Copper and 236.3 g/t Silver. ------NOW that you read em all, Think "Why Uplist and then Dual List in Asia" -------
Answer Monday Morning. Unless someone guesses it right Starts with a ....
"Due to the historical drill results on the Handcamp property further sampling will be performed to understand the gold anomaly of 5 ounces on 7 feet of core drilling." This was completed by the Newfoundland Government. Other areas of interest on the property came from grab samples that reached as high as 158g/t au (over 5 oz/ton).
KAT exploration, will head up further sampling and will advise on future core drilling and aerial surveys to best define the true worth of this unique property. Although no future plans have been finalized they may include a joint venture with a major mining company or outright sale. Hmmm"
Again Snow.. What do you think Ken has the first 1 million dollars for already and the next 4 million dollars set for doing? Hmmmmmmm
-wrong again- You lose 1 share of BVIG, Care to play again? Anyone else care to play tonight?
Snow..Wrong Again
"Uplisting maybe 6 months I hear from the best. BB will decide that based on certain regulations...Give us a link for that if you can..I am sure It will come aboard Ihub posts sometime soon if you don't have it already. I am also sure Handcamp will be fine with drilling results coming back soon and more free shares to be added because of Twi-lite to BVIG... Any guesses what it will open with,,,,,my guess Dollars. Katx may go down in the meantime.
Right - that is our Copper holding properties with Vale.
Cant get any better than Copper and Gold and etc...
Here is a great song for you guys... Come on sing it with me tonight.

Mister blue bird's on my shoulder,,

flippity doo dah,
flippity aye,
flippity doo dah,
flippity aye!
Dont need no more flippers any more, Market will take care of this pps and katgoldholdingscorp as well.
Er0ck..I hope you are Right
What I expect to happen next is that sometime in the next few weeks we will see another filing from BVIG/KAT Gold stating that KATX has sold Twilite Gold Properties to them as well. We should also get a share div payout for that one as well, further increasing our FREE share count in KAT Gold.
After this, at some point this summer, I expect KATX to do a reverse merger into a shell company that KAT Gold buys. At this point we will change our name from "KATX" to "KAT Copper Holdings Corp.".
I do believe Ken is spliting up the company into Gold properties and Copper properties which makes complete sense. Even though KATX will be a subsidiary of Kat Gold, it wont matter as KATX/KAT Copper will have all of the more valuable copper properties under us. At the same time, KAT Gold will still be worth alot of money too because it will have 2 very very valuable gold properties under it's wings.

Vale Inco has selected a site near Long Harbour, Newfoundland, as the location for the processing plant. Engineering, procurement and environmental planning for the processing plant in Long Harbour began in 2006. Initial construction began in April 2009 and is expected to be completed by February 2013.
The new hydrometallurgical process that Vale Inco developed will be able to process the ... for years for extraction of zinc and copper from sulphide concentrates. Follow the nickel, zinc, copper and other "Iron Ore, / IOCG minerals" Can we say Rusty and Shaylee, just down the road.
The cookie here in Katx is one of those Cookies whose crumbs you have to follow into the future and not the past
Following the completion of the R&D program, Vale Inco will construct a processing facility at Long Harbour, Newfoundland that will produce finished nickel product. Based on what we know today, this facility will cost in the order of US$2.2 billion and during operations employ about 450 people. Construction of the Long Harbour Processing Plant is expected to generate approximately 5,750 person-years of employment.
Vale Inco registered the processing plant for environmental assessment in March 2006 (click here to view), submitted an Environmental Impact Statement in April 2008 and was released from environmental assessment by the federal government (July 2008) and by the provincial government (August 2008). Initial construction of the processing plant began in April 2009 with construction wrapping up in February 2013.
At present, the Voisey's Bay development has an estimated project life of about 30 years. It is our hope that through further exploration we can increase our mineral reserves at Voisey's Bay and operate both the mine and concentrator and the Long Harbour Processing Plant well into the future.

Rick-UK...Outsanding Post : Love how Ken put Clifton right in the middle of Vale's Path, and regarding Rusty/Shaylee a map showing the geo curves like on the Bonavista (following the pink line) would be an awesome visual, I know for me, at least.
In March 2010 KAT Exploration claimed Clifton. Clifton is a huge claim area and perhaps shows some of the confidence that Ken and Tim must now feel about what they are doing. Clifton covers 125sq km - that's almost twice as big as both of the Cornerstone claims added together. We do not know as yet what might happen with Clifton. Time will tell.
KAT Exploration also has two other properties in the Bonavista area - Rusty Ridge and Shaylee. Both of these properties look very sexy indeed from the initial exploration that we so far know about. These could be massive plays for KAT Exploration.
Don't forget Vale is ..2 weeks ago...

In 1996, Vale Inco acquired the rights to the Vale Inco Newfoundland and Labrador nickel-copper-cobalt deposits located on the eastern coast. A commercial processing plant is scheduled to commence operation in Newfoundland in 2013.
The new hydrometallurgical process that Vale Inco developed will be able to process the nickel concentrate directly to metal products without first having to smelt the concentrate. It will be more economical and environmentally friendly since the sulphur dioxide and dust emissions associated with a smelter are eliminated. The process will also yield more of the valuable cobalt which is lost to a great extent in the smelting process.

Engineering, procurement and environmental planning for the processing plant in Long Harbour began in 2006. Initial construction began in April 2009 and is expected to be completed by February 2013.

Copper is the third metal most utilized in the world, followed by iron and aluminum only, and it is used in diverse goods and materials that are present in our daily life such as power conductive wires and cables and electronic appliances such as TV Sets and cell phones. It is also used in sculptures and fittings in alloys with zinc (brass), tin (brasses) and silver (jewelry).
stervc...with those comments, Once again leverage like Vale is the key for Huge Future Coming JV's. I totally agree.
My Bet for new PR next week. Ken says" you want substance NITE and etc.. Well here's a couple hole results out of Lucky we got back in March - coupled with the Second paragraph stating, oh I also forgot we got "new" results in April from Rusty that just slipped my mind, too."

CANADA - Shining Tree
Shining Tree Project consist of two non-contiguous leased, patented and unpatented mineral claim groups including the Duggan, the Tyranite and Minto, and Burda claim groups. The three properties are located in northern Ontario near the village of Shining Tree, in the Larder Mining Division, District of Sudbury, Ontario. The properties lie within the south-west part of the Abitibi Greestone belt (Figure 1) bordering on Proterozoic sediments of the Cobalt Embayment. The Abitibi greenstone belt is prospective for a number of mineral deposit types including mesothermal lode gold deposits, volcanogenic massive base metal suphide deposits and layered magmatic sulphide (Ni) deposits. Canada - Current Project List
Country Project Ore Overview
CANADA
Tyranite
Au The Tyranite zone extends along a northerly trending shear for 1km and consists of 3 lenses down to a depth of 350m. Between 1939 and 1942, 231,810 oz (7,210 kg) Au, and 4,860 oz Ag (151 kg ) were produced from 210,300 t grading 0.147 oz per ton (5.0 g/t) Au. An inferred resource of 472,000 tons (428,000 t) grading 6.9 g/t Au is estimated to exist in the underground workings (White 2007).
Duggan
Au Diamond drilling by Creso in 2007 and 2009 has confirmed historic results on the properties and extended the Duggan zone north and south for 700 metres. The drilling has also indicated several new zones and the association of anomalous gold and potash (K2O) enrichment. Further, the association of anomalous Ni with values up to 2700 ppm has been recognized within ultramafic rock units. Of particular interest, historical drill hole # 97-225 indicated a gold zone with sporadic high gold sections over 76 metres and averaging 1.5 g/t. Hole D3-07 showed a quartz/syenite breccia zone with abundant disseminated sulphide and an intersection of 2.9 g/t over 30m, and Hole D9-07 intersected the same zone over 93m with an average of 0.87 g/t, 220 meteres north of hole D3-07.
Minto
Au The Minto showing consists of a pod of carbonate sulphide breccias containing an estimated tonnage of 225,000 tons (204,000 t) grading 0.2 oz per t (6.8 g/t) Au to a vertical depth of 225m as determined and reported in 1984 by Duncan Gold Resources, (White 2007) **. Gold is related to pyrite and quartz veining trending north south and northeast southwest.

Chisay-Oxec
Cu The Chisay-Oxec licence (option to purchase) includes the old working of the Oxec copper mine, which was operated by Transmetales (Basic Resources Inc.), a subsidiary of Anglo-American, from 1974 to 1978, and produced about 600,000 tonnes of ore with an average grade close to 3% Cu from an underground mine and from an open pit. The ore is shaped as lenses that can measure up to 20 m thick and 100 meters long with grades greater than 5% Cu.
Padre Antonio
Cu The exploration license under application covers approximately 20km² and Guatemala Copper has applied for an additional 30k m² exploration license located in the Department of Huehuetenango, Guatemala.
Villa Linda
Crystalbell
Zn Creso, through its Guatemala Copper a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Corporation, acquired an exploration licence in January 2008 over a surface of 78 sq.km in the Department of Huehuetenango. The area contains three past producing lead, silver and lead mines with evidence of past workings dating back to 1912. Three selected grab samples taken during Creso initial field trip to the area gave results varying between 25.3% Zn and 32.9% Zn.
Hopes
U Guatemala Copper S.A., a wholly-owned Creso subsidiary has also applied for several exploration licenses in respect of mining properties located in Guatemala during 2007. On May 22, 2007 it filed an application for license numbers SEXR-032-07 (Hopes I) and SEXR-033-07 (Hopes II) covering an area of approximately 169.3k m² located in the municipalities of Jocotan, Olopa, and Esquipulas, department of Chiquimula for the purpose of exploring for uranium. Application has been made for a licence for both properties. On March 27, 2007, Creso Subsidiary applied for exploration license number SEXR-12-07 (Hopes III) , for the purpose of exploring uranium, gold and copper and covering an area of approximately 97km² located in the municipalities of Jocotan and Esquipulas, department of Chiquimula. The license has been granted and is valid until December 17, 2010. The properties are known as Hopes and are located a few kilometres from the locality of Chanmagua.
