Ya - you sit there & be negative (realistic as you call it).
I am realistic - and I'm not really that far down on my CPRK so I dont really need to cheer myself up.
I'm in the market everyday - I own IBM, LVS, HOT & CPRK right now.
CPRK is a speculative start up mining company (pink sheets) - they have some financial problems that need to be solved - they need to be more transparent with information etc.....
It takes time & money for a company like this to get the ball rolling.
CPRK is not going to make you rich overnight - it might make us all rich in time however. CPRK is my speculative money play - I plan on holding it for a long time because thats where the big money will be made. You accumulate shares like now when the stock is getting pummeled the last 3 months or so, you hold those shares, you wait patiently, and things work out or dont work out. If they work out - you make alot of money, if they dont work out -you chalk it up to a bad investment decision.
Cheer up man - like Obama said - dont give up. A few ticks up is better than a few ticks down.
Lets just be happy that we are going up the last few days.
The whole market is selling off. Commodities, commodity stocks & miners are getting crushed lately. Freeport Mac & BHP are down like 15-20% since early Janaury - due to China cutting bank lending. The market seem to believe that commodities demand will definitely take a hit from this Chinese reduced bank lending handed down from Beijing.
CPRK kind of moves to its beat however - price per share (PPS) is not really tied to the world commodity prices & demand. Hopefully the time comes when CPRK is big enough to be tied to the world commodities markets & indexes. Thats when we will all be rich :)
I believe in Miracles.
I got a fortune cookie today at PF Changs that said - "soon you will be sitting on top of the world". I got 10 million shares of CPRK now at an average of 0.0075 or so - I'm waiting for the good news, hopefully it happens. Its goiong to take some time.
You guys have to be realistic - CPRK is a speculative stock - speculative stocks take time to grow - alot of time.
This stock wont move until the financials are in place - and they are not in place right now. Serious investors dont like financial uncertainties and right now alot of uncertainty exists. People can look at stock charts, talk to PR people, speculate on the weekly PPS/bid/ask etc...all day long, every day, every night - but until CPRK gets financing & pays the bills, the stock is not moving up quickly. Time patience etc..........
I'm long & holding
Glockist - interesting information.
DCragun - phenomenol post the other day - about your synopsis & actions to take. Maybe the best post I have seen on any stock forum.
1. No news from CPRK
2. No long term financing
3. Shares manipulation
The reason CPRK is falling is because - their is no catalyst for the stock to go up right now - just hope. Serious investors with big money dont like uncertainties & hope, they will load in when some of the many uncertainties are cleared up.
Until then - CPRK is just a manipulated pink sheet stock that sells off big at the closing bell.
This ship is slowly sinking - everyday the same thing - a little farther down.
10% here, 8% there etc.......How long doe's this continue?
CPRK must be shipping "mud" instead of Copper.
Mud King Mining Corporation (MUDK)
Are you kidding me - what are these guys doing?
HAPPY NEW YEAR to all CPRK investors.
2010 is going to be a great year for all of us.
Times are tough right now but anything worthwhile in life always takes time & patience.
I'm sitting here eating spring rolls & drinking a few shots of Amaretto Disaronna and celebrating New Years Eve with my wife & a few friends. Me and my wife made around 100 spring rolls with pork, beef, shrimp & chopped veges in them.
Some day down the road - I'm going to be celebrating CPRK with a few shots of Amaretto :)
HAPPY & SAFE HEW YEAR TO EVERYBODY - may we all be blessed with happiness, good luck, good food, good drinks & prosperity into 2010 & beyond.
Merry Christmas to everyone here at Copper King.
Next year will be a good year for all of us.
Candy B - nice post.
I'm glad we have you here on the board - you give us credible information from real visits to the mill.
CPRK stock is making me a bit nervous right now - I am in for 5 million shares now & it just keeps dropping, but thats what stocks do when information is vague & uncertain regarding finacial position. Wall St. sells on uncertainty so I guess Pink Sheet stocks do the same thing - maybe even worse.
Be patient people - like Candy B says - the mill is up & running & people are being paid etc........Its just a matter of time until we get some positive news.
I like this board here at CPRK - alot of good people here.
Also - alot of people smarter than me concerning mining stocks & mining operations. I'm learning alot here reading all these posts.
In the past I've primarily invested in casinos/hotel, tech & oil stocks but I see a big future in Copper going forward.
Hopefully CPRK hits a few gold & silver veins in the future :)
Obamanomicz - I was going to advise you to get into CPRK in the 0.0050's today, because its a great price to get in at.
I added some more shares at 0.0053 bringing my shares total to 4.5 million now.
You may have missed the boat on todays trade.
Picking bottoms can be like picking a needle in the haystack - better to get in near the bottom than to wait & never get in.
Trueblue - I agree
When I walked into my house from the gym - I checked out the market & all my stocks are up, except CPRK.
CPRK was down 16% - I could not freakin' believe it was hitting 0.0049/sh. I walked away & did some work on my house & boom I come back & now its up 16% or something (pure manipulation we are seeing today, the daily stock price has become disconnected from the reality of CPRK daily operations).
I think I'm going to work on my house harder than I ever worked before & maybe this copper baby will soar :)
Stocks that are going down the tubes generally dont recover fast like this. To me - today shows that these recent stock moves are all about short term manipulation by some big money traders who have targeted CPRK for some reason - that reason most likely being they are attempting to make some quick daytrade cash probably because they missed the overall stock market rally the last 9 months & are desperate to make some quick cash. Most stocks on the NYSE are not moving enough now to make 10-20% moves so I assume a few big time traders are targeting some of the penny stocks now to acheive the big percentage gains on a daily basis.
Richard - I was just going to say the same thing.
The stock market in the short term is all about fear & greed - its the only 2 things that can produce the volatility & volume up or down that accounts for a 50% move either way (up or down).
I've been trading for 15 years & its always the same thing - fear & greed feeds on itself as a stock moves down, fear & greed feeds on itslef as a stock moves back up because all shorters cover & everybody buys back in to not miss the rally back up.
I have not heard any "new" bad news about CPRK, but then again they are a non-reporting company with not much daily news out & the average investor is always the last to get the bad news.
I saw a similar situation 9 months ago with Las Vegas Sands - LVS dropped from 13/sh all the way down to 1.38/sh - on speculation and fear that the company would declare bankruptcy. The rumor proved to be false, I bought in large at around 2/sh & the stock exploded back up to near 20/sh and now sits at like 16/sh. It was all about rumors & fear on the downside with some greedy shorters in the mix, and then it was all about fear & greed on the way back up as shorters covered & buyers came back in on a mass scale shooting the stock up like 1200% from its lows.
CPRK & LVS are totally different companies, with totally different situations, but the manipulation by big money is very similar.
I just hope there is really no bad news & its just fear feeding on itself. I'm not sure about the structure of the stock shares & dillution - its kind of confusing to say the least, but I'm sure this is also factoring in greatly to the reduced stock price. Investors run for the hills when they hear the words - "more shares are being issued to raise money".
Svalente
I think its a few rogue traders or brokers etc... running CPRK down. The U.S. stock market is set-up for this kind of manipulation to happen - the government & SEC allows it & pink sheet stock rules virtually dont even exist. CPRK is an easy stock to manipulate by the big money - millions of shares moves the stock price big (on a percentage basis) and costs virtually nothing to trade or short. Thats why you have to get it set in your mind when you buy a penny stock, to hold for the long term, wait out all the manipulation because penny stocks are manipulated up/down big time. Pink sheet stocks dont have the same regulation & rules that the NYSE has so .....its almost an anything goe's environment. The fact that CPRK is a non-reporting pink sheet stock that doe's not have breaking news everyday is keeping people in the dark & traders dont like uncertainties.
IF CPRK gets long term financing & reports some descent copper shipping numbers this thing could bounce up 100-200% overnight, but until something like that happens - I think we are in for a rough ride in the short term.
I'm not selling out - I'll ride it into the ground if I have to.
CPRK is like all the other speculation stocks I have owned in the last 15 years - it scares me.
Thats what speculation & penny stocks are all about - price manipulation, greed, and fear.
Right now we are in the downside manipulation & fear stage.
Hopefully, soon we will be in the upside manipulation & greed stage.
No doubt about it though - this stock is definitely scaring me, it seems like no matter what happens in the market, we can always rely on CPRK to go 10 cents lower than the week before.
Patience I guess - alot of patience.
I'm long CPRK but at this point I have to say - CPRK is worrying me.
The market is up like almost 10 days in a row, the dollar is down big, gold is up big, copper prices are hitting recent highs & look at CPRK - DOWN like 25% over the last few weeks/months.
Not a good sign.
I have to believe the shares are getting big-time dilluted & the float keeps rising.
CPRK is by far my worst performing stock this year - I'm down 22% at .0078 on 3 million shares. I still have faith in the company but........
CPRK is kind of like an athlete with great potential that fails to perform, at some point the teams manager starts thinking maybe we should "trade" this guy unless he shows me something fairly soon.
Somebody is playing with this stock today - since yesterday at the market close CPRK has seen 4 large spikes down and 3 spikes back up.
Somebody is doing some short term manipulating I do believe.
The market is like a casino in the short term
No matter what happened on the John O'Hurley interview - its still pretty good news to get some exposure on FOX News. O'hurley is apparently a serious shareholder - because somebody with his kind of cash is not going to be fooling around trading a penny stock. This is how big things start - we get some small exposure on national news & people start looking at the company more seriously. What we need is a quarterly earnings announcement that blows away expectations or at least shows some good numbers going forward.
Long CPRK :)
Lets hope this baby starts to rise to 2-3 cents soon & then beyond.
I think all you guys here at CPRK already seen this - but if not - this is pretty good news. Dont have time to read through all the posts right now to see if everybody mentioned it already. Hope we all get rich here in the future :)
Copper King Announces High Grade Drilling Results for the Bawana
Extension Project
Mineralization at Shallow Depths; Intervals Grade Up to 11.84 % Copper
MILFORD, UT, Oct. 20, 2009 (Marketwire) --
MILFORD, UT -- (Marketwire) -- 10/20/09 -- Copper King Mining
Corporation (PINKSHEETS: CPRK) ("Copper King" or the "Company") is
pleased to announce results from its continuing exploration drilling
at the Bawana Extension project. This drilling is designed to develop
near-surface mineable reserves that can be immediately mined and sent
to the Company's nearby mill for processing. Substantial unexpected
near surface mineralization has been encountered on strike with the
original Bawana deposit from a depth of zero to 120 feet. The table
below summarizes selected drill intercepts and grades encountered to
date on the project
The Bawana Extension Project lies east of the Copper Ranch Project
area. Substantial copper, gold and silver concentrate similar to that
being made at present by the Company from its mill was produced from
the adjoining Bawana mine during the period 1961 - 1966. On-going
drilling is being conducted using two reverse circulation drill rigs
owned by the Company, and the mineralization appears to be open in
multiple directions.
The Company is also making plans to open underground operations at its
Eagle mine located near the Comet Breccia, on the western end of its
mineral holdings. The Company expects that additional high grade gold,
silver and copper ores will help boost the mill feed gold and sulfur
content.

"We are excited to report the drilling and discovery of additional,
shallow high-grade mineralization so close to our mill and so
accessible at the extension of the Bawana pit," said Mark D. Dotson,
President and CEO of Copper King. "We believe that the ongoing
drilling, together with ramping up production at the mill, will add to
our strength and provide additional growth for the Company. Drilling
at the Bawana Extension and opening up operations at the Eagle mine
represent the continuation of the Company's plan to methodically
explore and exploit its mining claims in the large area in the Milford
Mineral Belt while ramping up production at the mill. Our plan is to
continue to explore the upside potential of the entire Milford
District."

Copper Ken - I have 3 million shares of CPRK at an average buy price of 0.01/sh. I think I'm just going to hold these shares for a long time & see what happens. Once the residential & commercial building recovers you will see the demand & price of copper rise along with copper & homebuilding stocks. Construction is incredibly slow in most U.S. geographic regions so .......we wait right now. Freeport & some of the bigger copper companies are rising because they are globally diversified & have large cash reserves, huge copper/gold reserves, & are generating profits even when copper is at current prices on the global commodity exchanges. I traded FCX alot in the past & believe me - copper is not a precious metal but its almost treated like a precious metal. In the future - one of the larger miners just might want to purchase CPRK at a nice fat price - but thats down the road & speculative. For now - we just have to be happy that the trustee sale has been cancelled & CPRK is generating shipments & revenue.
To everybody: I think all investors have to relax about the daily movements of CPRK. CPRK is just starting to generate positive revenue. Stock prices rise in anticipation of future profits so its just a matter of time until CPRK stock begins to rise. You have to maintain alot of patience with start up penny stocks - a little volatility can move these stocks up & down very quickly. If you sit at the computer all day monitoring the PPS - you will become very negative. The bottom line is CPRK has proven copper & other mineral reserves, Coppper is/will be in huge demand going forward, banks dont really want to sell off parts of the company in peices, CPRK is slowly ramping up its production & processes, and their is a huge amonut of money sitting in bond funds & money market funds in America waiting to come back into the stock market & some of that money will be coming into CPRK in the future. Morningstar reported yesterday that 3.45 trillion $$$$ is sitting in money market funds, 254 billion $$$ has been added to bond funds & only 14.5 billion $$$ has been put into mutual funds this year - so their is alot of money still sitting on the sidelines that will potentially come back into the market in the next few years.
Patience is the key - few people get rich overnight
