Have a great vacation Zeev. You've earned it.
Russ
LIFC. Long a few at $31.69. Hope I want it. Earnings in the morning.
LCAV. I missed the top. Had to leave a while ago for a routine blood test and at the last minute I put in an order to sell in the low 36's because I was worried about the conference call. It executed while I was gone, but I'm not complaining. I made a double bucker and I see it's fallen back quite a bit now.
No complaints here. <ggg> LCAV
Marsh. Thanks for the heads up (LCAV). Hope the market is happy with it too. Going to hold those shares for a while and see what develops.
LCAV. Zeev any ideas where this might bottom? I got in small yesterday at $33.91. Thinking of averaging down, but not sure if it's smart here. Thanks
LCAV. Long a few at $33.91
INTC. Wow. Did anyone else see the Two 60,000 + share trades at $20.89 with the price at about $21.05? Quick dips down and up. Somebody got filled nicely.
INTC.

AMD. Taking a pounding this afternoon.
Mine too. Bummer. Flying blind.
Edit. Streamer seems to be coming to life. We'll see.
Hi Hack. Hope it's nothing too serious and that you're back good as new ASAP. Take care.
Marsh. Thanks for taking the time to posts the lists. I'ts very much appreciated.
Russ
Wow. Great stuff. Having the patience to wait for the confirmation is really key. I'm learning a lot from all of you. Thanks again.
Thanks Marsh. I can see now where patience is key to confirm the trade. I'll keep that in mind before jumping in. Thanks for your help.
Thanks Newly. Little by little I'm getting there. Sometimes I feel like I'm back in high school trigonometry when reading these charts. LOL. Seriously, it is becoming clearer to me each day, especially with helpful posts from folks like you. Thanks again.
Russ
Hi Newly. There was a quick spike down to $28.71 around 10 in the morning. That was the time I posted to Zeev wondering what was going on with the stock. He and Marsh wisely scooped up the bargain while I sat there like a deer in the headlights. Missing that trade still smarts, especially since I was looking right at it. But I do appreciate you sharing your chart methods and insights, and will study them closely. I'm so totally convinced it's impossible to make consistent money without proper charting, and I'm determined to get on board. Thanks.
It seems like you're methods of 'biting' are a lot more fun than what's been going on around here lately. LOL. By the way, A Few Good Men is one of my favorite movies. I particularly like the part where Kevin Scanlon's character gets mad at Demi Moore and asks her why she likes the defendants so much. And she answers, "Because they stand on a wall and say 'Nothing is going to hurt you tonight. Not on my watch!!". Great stuff. And Demi Moore wasn't bad either. [gg]
Hi Zeev. This seemed like an apt time to drop in and tell you how much I appreciate your insights and hard work. I really don't know what's going on in the thread lately with all the 'ankle biting'. Maybe it's a sign of the frustration people are feeling with the market gyrations. I do know I've always received courteous and informative answers any time I asked for your input. And for that I also know the vast majority of us thank you. But when things seem to be getting too negative, just remember "Illegitimi Non Carborundum". [GGG] Have a good weekend.
Hi 2MAR$. I've been trying to get more involved with charting, and I guess my question is similar to Odie's. I had the LIFC 5 min. daily up and saw LIFC hit the lower bollinger band and the RSI drop under 30 for the first time around $30.43. As we all know, it continued to drop further and again hit the lower bollinger band, and the rsi dipped under 30 again at $29.49 with a quick drop to the high 28's. So the question would be, how would one know not to buy at the first touch of the lower bollinger band, since the RSI had also dipped below 30. Buying there would have just yielded a break even trade, and buying on the second drop yielded a profit. I din't buy at either point because it didn't hodl the first time, and I thoguht it might not hold the second. But of course it bounced. What made the difference? Thanks for your time.
Bearmove. Thanks for your responses to these 'ankle biters'. I'm totally amazed at how they attack Zeev and sometimes others on this thread. I've never posted a question to the veterans on this thread (including yourself) that I haven't received a courteous and informative response. I don't know why these people won't just sit back and watch the flow, and interaction of the thread. Then they'd understand why we have such a high respect for Zeev and the way he conducts himself. Well. I've been around long enough to know you just can't understand some people, so I've added them to my 'ignore' file. BTW. I'm looking hard at MCZ. It does look tempting. Have a good one.
Thanks. Will watch (MU)
Zeev. Any idea about a good bottom on MU. Sure beginning to look tempting to me, but lots of negative news.
I agree. Could be a lot of bagholders when this 'frolic' is over. (DVAX)
DVAX. I wonder how this will affect price action.

The offering is expected to close Oct. 10. The company currently has about 30.59 million shares outstanding.
Good luck with it (LIFC). Certinly didn't expect to see it this low this soon.
Wow. Nice call. Been watching LIFC also, but it just keeps dropping. Wonder what's going on there. No position yet.
Thanks for the info. Will keep on the radar. (LCAV)
LCAV. Zeev. Any thoughts at this level? Thanks.
"this may be just sympathy move"
That's the feeling on the Yahoo boards. They claim GIGM has no revenue exposure in the U.S. and that the drop is unfair. I guess believers in GIGM will view this as a buying opportunity, but I don't know enough about it to take a position one way or the other. And I always take whatever Yahoo posters say with a huge grain of salt.
Hi land. You're abolutely not out of line. I appreciate your posts. One of the things I'm doing is learning more about technical charting. You and Mars have helped a lot. The ironic part is that, based on what limited knowledge I have, I didn't think LIFC was 'ripe' for a short this morning, but I pushed the trade anyway. That was my mistake and that's why I exited so quickly. Anyway, I still need a lot more experience doing quick reads on tehncial charts so feel free to post the info. It helps.
"I'm usually too "patient", losing my shirt on a deteriorating position."
That's a fault of mine also. But somehow I have more patience with a losing long position than a losing short position. I have to study the 'dark side' more before attempting more trades.
"The last few weeks were tough on boppers in general"
All I can say to that is AMEN !!! LOL
Thanks. Looking at it that way makes me feel better.
That's where I just covered for a loss (29 cents). (LIFC). I've decided I'm about the lousiest short seller on the board. Have made 8 short trades in the past few weeks, with a break even result. That's not the way to make money. I'm going to stick with Longs, but good luck to you on that short.
LIFC. Covered at $32.69. Loss of 29 cents.
LIFC. SS at $32.40
MSCC. Long at $19.10. Hoping the stock has based after getting clobbered for lowering forecast.
Maybe if they give me a bunch of stock. LOL
BCRX
Apparently 'fast track' was granted back in January. FWIW
NEW YORK, Sept 29 (Reuters) - BioCryst Pharmaceuticals Inc. (BCRX.O: Quote, Profile, Research) on Friday reported early trial results for its influenza treatment, peramivir, showing it can be safely given at high dose levels.
The company has said peramivir has shown a broad-spectrum activity against multiple strains of flu, including the H5N1 virus that causes bird flu, in preclinical trials. U.S. regulators In January granted "fast-track status" for peramivir, potentially allowing for a speedy review of the treatment.
In the three completed studies reported on Friday, over 60 healthy volunteers received doses of intravenous peramivir each day for up to 10 days doses ranging from about 30 mg to 600 mg. All doses were well tolerated with no serious adverse events reported, the company said.
Preliminary data from a study evaluating intramuscular injection in 18 volunteers showed similar results to those following an equivalent intravenous dose.
"Considering the additional studies that have indicated strong anti-influenza activity with peramivir injection in animals at comparable or lower doses, we are optimistic about the potential of injectable peramivir and look forward to initiating a series of Phase II clinical trials," said Charles Bugg, Chairman and CEO of BioCryst, in a release.
Data from these clinical trials, designed to test safety and tolerability of intravenous and intramuscular injections of peramivir in healthy volunteers, are scheduled to be presented at the Interscience Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy in San Francisco.
