Not really a "haha" moment (I'd rather have been wrong), but I apparently was spot on with this post.
+1 on my ignore list.

A simple filing with the SRSR ticker would be all that is needed to actually keep us up to date. A filing would be cheaper then a PR and would have the same effect. You have to admit SRSR is not doing a good job at communication. No one can sincerely defend every move SRSR has made in last year.
Not sure why this property didn't go directly to JTR back in December. In the past Scott bought properties in his own private companies and then later moved them to SRSR or to JTR. It seems suspicious to me but if they do get "real" money (not just some accounting magic) from JTR that can be used as initial capital for the spin out, then what the hey, go for it.
Buyers actually putting up a fight today, bid started to climb and more then a few bought at ask. Really want this to be the bottom, I'm not buying anymore. I added 250k around .024 and .025 thinking that was a good price.
BTW, something I noticed awhile ago, change the Assum/Distro indicator to weekly and you get a more accurate picture of what is actually going on. A simple paint at end of day can make it a green day and all trades that day are considered accumulated. It's harder to paint a week.
For instance for the entire last year to date, we are at 0 shares accumulated. August 2011 peak had +10 million, the dip afterward was all the way down to -18 million and are just now above 0.
10 Million in buying brought it up to .075, followed by 28 million in selling, and that reversed off September lows to bring us back to 0.
Pretty much only paint jobs keeping this slightly down today and last few days, but maybe someone will find the close encouraging and put in a big bid tomorrow, or maybe throw some $ way and buy at ask.
Need more bidders .025 just about gone. I picked up another 150k yesterday.
SRSR needs to say something here soon if they do give a sh!t about all of those private placement people. Not trying to be a fear monger, but nothing but sells over last few days weeks and do not want to see what would happens if this breaks .020. Appears to be a lot of "locked away" shareholders on the fence (on ihub at least) and if all of a sudden after being green for years those shares go red...
That is not at all what I said or meant. They do not need to walk the price down. Private placements are simply made at .0200 / per share. Why would this be any different? And why wouldn't Scott rather have shares then $. So you would rather have HKHE or some other private placement pay Scott his out standing balance in cash and then not use that cash to exercise options or add to his shares via private placement (I.e. invest in his own company). Conversion of debt to shares doesn't sound as nice as exercising options, but is essentially the same thing in this case. If this weren't a pink, then I'd expect him to buy in open market, but we are not there yet.
dmbao,
Can you try and get some glimmer of update from him. I think he is much more likely to respond to someone he knows, has spoken to before and has a large stake in his company versus a bunch of us lowly open market 1 million share and under investors harassing him.
It would be much appreciated.

Hey, no asking questions, you're just supposed to keep averaging down.
I just noticed the 10/2011 financials were posted in January. Nothing really interesting.
They received and used the "service agreement" money.
It also looks like Scott is owed $360k by the company, not sure if that is essentially deferred pay, or he is using his own money to pay for various things? To me it shows that Scott does have skin in the game that dmbao has been talking about for awhile now on the options. Once the closing of the spin-out is clear, Scott could easily issue himself shares in exchange for that debt. That's equivalent to 18 million shares at .02.
Here's my prediction:
There is no chance HKHE will close before the Macau conference. If it's dragged on this much, why not more? HKHE will use the conference to finish up the funding and gauge future investments. Probably should add another month or two to that as well.
I would love to be wrong, but at this point we may as well start using worst case scenario for every timeline here.
Exactly, in the real world you are fired for this crap. If this weren't a pink, that would probably be the case here too. Wonder how the board of directors vote would turn out if it happened this month?
Somebody giving it up today?
When I first got into SRSR, TCK was around $2.50, it was a 25 bagger from there. SRSR is basically even (Feb 2009). Who'd have thought the safe investment would act like a pink and the pink act like a dead money bluechip.
The bid has been at .026 and .0262 all day and ask at .0279/.028, the high of day is .0262, all transactions sold at bid. 783k bid down to 57k at .026 (I have fidelity ATP too). Bid is at .0265 now and on the day we are even at .026. I might buy a few k at end of day make it look a little better.
All sells again today (no question, all sells at bid).
Another 1 million bid at .026, you guys have a lot of money. How many 1 million bids will it take to move up? Need some good news and follow through here.
update: 9000 at ask now, out of 1,768,920
Well, when a sell goes through and it's the last bit of the bid at that price level it always shows that as a buy because it is higher then the current bid. If you watch L2 you can see it. So really it makes today look better then it really is on the accum/distro and various other indicators.
Since my sarcastic post was deleted, I posted that today there are literally only 5000 shares bought at ask, all others were sold at bid.
Isn't this stock weird in that a few days ago 2.5 million at bid, no sellers, this morning someone forgot to put bid in and people are selling at low of the week.
One acronym for 800k bidder, GTC
The wording here is my concern:
"between CDN$5,500,000 and CDN$10,000,000 WILL HAVE BEEN raised by HKHE"
Key words, "will have been raised".
This deal was initiated this spring/summer, REE / mining stocks were at 3 year highs this spring/summer (highs since fall of 2008). REE's in particularly have been hit hard since August, they are just now bouncing. I know this isn't a "REE", but I would have to take a guess NIOStar will trade as one. It's possible that the fund raising hasn't worked out quite as well as previously thought. They may now be looking to the Macau conference to complete their fund raising efforts. The conference is May 16 - 18th.

I'm fine with a bid, someone bought around a million at beginning of year, moved it 1 penny and pretty much back where it started yesterday. Put in a bid maybe it gets hit, maybe they have to increase it to .029 tomorrow. Seems like a better plan then buying up all the asks up to .04 and then having someone paint it at .025 the next day. The asks are building a bit too.
Maybe the bidder already has 10 million shares and may or may not want more, but don't want their other 10 million shares moving 20k per day in the wrong direction on $600 in volume.
1.7 million bidder is back at .0285. This is a legit bid, yesterday it was under the 500k bidder, wasn't sure if they were trying to entice some sellers and then pull it. Today it's the high bid, this bid will get hit on any sells.
2.5 million in bids down to .0258. We'll see how much ammo the sellers have.
I'd guess they still have a few investors lined up for private placements at .02 if they needed more $. I'm personally annoyed at that consistent .020 price, but it is way better then them trying to sell into open market I guess. If they sold 100 million shares over past 2 years into open market, no chance we would be above .020. They would also have to hire some broker/promoter to sell that for them as it would take weeks to unload 5 million shares and not dramatically effect the price.
You are probably right there, $100k could control this stock in whatever direction you want (as long as you know the bounds), there really isn't much profit in it though not sure why anyone would want to risk/park their money here to swing trade a few tenths of a cent, i.e. recently buying at best .025 in large amount and then selling it at .027-.029. Someone tried to push it at end of year to no avail (those shares sitting at a loss if not sold already). Now it's time to repeat the process it looks like. That would better explain the logic behind SRSR, it doesn't at all follow market or peers, it only gains on anticipation of news (on ihub) and sells on actual news.
That makes more sense. Thanks. They do know how many are out there via the proxy vote, I wonder if they will ever post that info?
If you want/need more, now is the time. These bids show that at least of few are fairly confident this is the new bottom. Possible news very soon (which we are all expecting).
Wow, you can't tell me people don't read this board :) I'll take it, someone on here has deep pockets and is trying to prove me wrong :)
It's on here, in Jan 2010, 65, I thought that was way low too
http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=financials&symbol=SRSR
I don't see any updated info, you'd think they could have updated this info when did the vote. Maybe next financials will have it?
End of year rally over, good bid at .026 (600k). We'll see how eager the seller(s) are to sell at .026. No large bid has EVER been safe here.
It makes me wonder how big a bid it would take for it not to be sold into? There were multiple 1 million bids in May/June/July, every time, sold into. 5 million, 10 million bid? Considering that SRSR has told us no one owns more then 5% and that there were just 65 shareholders in 2010, if you subtract SRSR management shares there are 800 million out there, add a few more shareholders since then we get average of 10 million each. Then the unofficial poll here had very few share holders over 5 million. You'd think that no single shareholder could hammer down 5 million shares? Would love to find out in the coming weeks / months. BTW, I think what was reported in circular is BS in regard to "no significant" shareholders. When STRC is listed we will see.
That lasted longer then usual, I guess someone was willing to wait out the weekend before selling. 100k buys, 1,280k sells. Hopefully whomever is selling feels like a fool in a few weeks. I've gone from being up $30k to down $10k in a few short months on my position, I already feel like a fool for not selling with some of the "longs" on here...
I see an 800k bid at .0278, I like that it's still there almost 2 hours later.
Has anyone discussed the possible alien conspiracy here? I believe it is they who are controlling this stock, they want to hold down our production so they can have it all for themselves when they arrive any day now. Is HKHE of this world?
At most that flip netted them .003, oh boy (12% gain / $2k overall).
Now bunch more up for sale .0285, I was hoping that 600k was from the flash asker from last couple days, I guess not, unless they had 1.4million to sell. Ask is gone again now.
Now we're back to normal, chip away at the bid to find a big bid to sell into. 660k just dumped at .028.
Not sure why they would ever exercise options, they can just do private placement to themselves for .02. The only reason they have them is just in case this goes to .20+ and stays there (as SRSR or later as NIO/STRC). I wouldn't expect them too exercise until after it's a sure thing. By the setup of the expiration dates, they to expected much more by now. Of course they would install some confidence if they did so now.
Awesome someone trying to sell 800k at .03 now. Unless you are trying to manipulate, you are better off selling in pieces whomever you are.
Relative to zero buying it is a pretty good pop, around 2 million bought at ask over 3 days after months of no buying at ask of any substantial size.
At least the bleeding has stopped for a few days. This little pop may entice others to put their money back in, or new investors who were waiting for a bottom to get in.
