Oh, OK, I think I see what you are saying. Algae biofuel was GGRN's strong point but since GGRN recently sold off their interest in algae, GGRN's share price took a hit?
Per the October 1, 2008 press release GGRN sold its 50% ownership in Vertigro Algae Technologies LLC (VAT) to Valcent Products Inc. and restructured company operations to focus on its commercial stage Global Greensteam business. Greensteam converts waste biomass to renewable steam for industrial processes and electrical power co-generation.
I believe the US Govt is not only looking hard at algea but many sources of alternative energy. Wind energy for examply; I've been looking at WNEA. Have you taken a look at WNEA? If so, what are your thoughts on it?
Not to split hairs but the stock market went down less than 4% today; whereas, GGRN went down 11%. Also stock market is down about 25% this year; whereas, GGRN down about 76% this year. In all fairness, a 25% loss is a little easier to live with than a 76% loss.
You stated you are willing to buy GGRN shares. Are you willing to buy the shares at the price that was paid for the shares?
