is figuring out how he's going to end up losing all his money... too many consecutive green days is going to bring forth some AWFUL karma...

"Stocks Rise Modestly as Economic Growth Slows"... what's wrong with this picture...
It would only make sense that as soon as I went short, the market would go green again
Obviously I got filled... dang... should have held out for that extra .01
I upped it to 0.80... if I don't get filled... oh well, I'll see what happens monday
I'm sitting at 0.79 lol
I'm looking for an entry into the Aug 105 PUTs now
and also, the closer you get to expiration, the faster the OTM contracts lose their value...
I remember last year I paper traded GS options on expiration day 2 times for a 4700% gain in a matter of hours, hah...
The SPY Aug 105s went up to 1.15 today... from my 0.77 entry, that would have been 50% (if I would have caught the HOD)
EDIT: the LOD was around 0.60s when I bought (or the next day)... so it really could have been a 92% gain if you played it perfectly
I owned the 105s yesterday from 0.77... got rid of them at 0.85 before the market turned higher... this morning they went at least to 1.15
Those are the ones I'll probably get back in later
Larger % of return is my guess
I was hoping for a big move up... then buy puts and ride them down
Me too... I'm just trying to debate whether to buy and hold over the weekend...
What the heck... I almost sold my calls for a loss again this AM for -1k... now I'm up 500 again... lol weird market
I'm starting to think we might, hah
GDP rose at 2.4%... start buying them puts now, eh?
no, 3... if I sold now it would be 4
I can't wait to have a daytrade acct... I'm up 15% on the calls I bought near the bottom and can't sell till tomorrow ><
I'm just mainly trading SPY calls and puts right now... I sold my PUTs for a gain, and got in some Aug 114 calls at 0.66... up about 8% now, but I have to wait until tomorrow to sell them.
In hindsight, I probably shouldn't have jumped in the calls... and just waited to get the puts again on this bounce... tomorrow I will probably sell the calls first thing and pick up puts
I've been leaching the last few days... you've saved me some $$... just wanted to say thanks (can't PM)
I picked up some AUG 114s at 0.66... lets see if she bounces
I'm not just using your targets... but yours and youaretheone's posts helped me from being emotional and trading for a gain of $500 instead of a loss of $1k
Thanks for posting these targets... you've helped me resist selling my puts on emotion and losing $1k this morning...
I'm even now and trying to figure out if I want to sell and get in lower if we see a bounce or wait to see if it hits your 1098 target first
Thanks!
Why is it that if someone is not saying "TO THE MOOOOON", etc... it makes them a shorter?
In this post Roy states that he will be getting back in at 0.26, 0.27 and 0.28 which is not far away from it's current level: http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=52698885
All of the shorters on Yahoo seem to post BS, like "TIMMMMMBBBBEEEERRRRRRR"... I don't remember him ever posting that sort of stuff.
Also, anointed chart? You mean annotated?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anointing
then it'll just be squeezed to heaven :D
1.4Mil buy at 0.39 at open :D

Did it not gap at open yesterday? I thought it did
What do you have for our tests >0.36?
On the contrary... you could use trailing stops... I used one and stopped out at 0.406 and got back in at 0.37 (could have gotten lower, but I was too slow figuring out how many shares I could afford at the new lower price...
TD Ameritrade lets me put in trailing stop-losses... but I don't think I can after hours or in premarket... but that my just be if the stop is higher than the previous close (i.e. the stock gapped up)
All this selling and the stock is still staying green... I'm happy
God looked down from above and said, "Hugh, why did you sell YRCW? Here... now get back in before it goes back to HOD!"
I moved on to another stock because my trailing stop activated at 0.406 today... when I saw this I freaked out and tried to get back in but was a little late to the party... I could have waited to get back in lower than 0.37 though it seems...
sheesh... bears are pissed I think
sheesh... bears are pissed I think
wahooooooo back in at 0.37... couldn't act fast enough!
stopped out at 0.406
