Another tax write-off in my account. Woohoo! :(
How is the dead FFGO working out for everyone? Sucks when we have a government that allows shorting doesn't it. Kills everything in site.
No news, no movement, no leadership.
So many shorts, crooks and greedy individuals these days. This may never recover.
"wanna buy some swamp land in Texas"
So you own and are stuck with swamp land in Texas? LOL!!
Agreed, $10 is highly over priced. I also think $1 is highly over priced.
Having said that, I do think over $0.10 is VERY realistic by looking at prior case studies, research data, evaluation on term conditions, growth targets, etc.
MANIPULATORS don't have control. You do? Then prove it... by getting this to a penny within the next 2 weeks.
NEW LEADERSHIP = INCOMPETENCE
No new PRs introducing themselves, their vision, their goals, etc. Nothing. They suck.
Well duh.
But for those of us who didn't, we ALL LOST as the FFGO shares are no longer valid. WE ALL LOST.
Sorry, you are wrong. You don't have anything left just like us.
Good luck!
We all have zero.
Still looking forward to Monday?
Great news, and HAON stock drops. Joy.
Friday EOD?? Weird PR timing. Usually Friday PRs are bad news, why not send this out Monday morning?
How's that waiting working out?
Have no idea. They have new leadership, but so far no communications.
**IF** they come out of BK, then it goes up but will be up to the new leadership to work it.
CAN'T POLISH A TURD
But hopefully the CEO can.
Exactly. Well said.
Looking forward to a rockin' week!
Good luck all! Let's rock this stock!!
FFGO is about as dead as dead can be.
New leadership smells fishy. No news, no communications, no forward looking statements, no sign of life.
Go HAON!! \m/ :) \m/
"Any trading fluctuations daily are just at the whims of a few who may lack patience or see the need to accumulate before the hurricane hits."
Or some dumbass failing at trying to scare us out of our shares.
"It costs them nothing to leave the marker in the account."
TOTALLY WRONG
These massive databases grow and grow. The cost of keeping old dead data alive is expensive and requires constant maintenance (compacting databases, adding more storage as data grows, replacing worn equipment, paying for electricity to run servers, paying for utilities to keep servers cold, the labor costs to do all this stuff, etc.. etc.. etc.
No problem Tatoo1. Here's is Ameritrade's newest response from 2 days ago:
"I have received word from our Corporate Actions team that FFGO was on the list for removals of non-marketable due to having no current bid/ask or any trading volume. They have spoken with the DTC and if there is any litigation that includes a payment or restitution for shareholders then the position will be reinstated in your account for that time. Until then, it will not show in your account.
If you need trade confirmations for your case, you can always go to My Account>History & Statements>Trade Confirmations and search back to find your purchase confirmation and print for your records. This is a good habit to get into as we only hold on to records for 10 years. Also, I still have not received an answer for why we do not commonly give notification for this type of cleanup.
I hope this information is helpful, because we truly appreciate your business. If there's anything else we can help you with, please reply to this message.
Thank you,"
Thank you Tgarfield2. Some people just don't want to believe anything. We appreciate your post and info.
Here is Ameritrade's response when I asked them to restore my dead shares and why they deleted them without any communication:
"I have sent your message to our Corporate Actions department to look into why this was pulled from your account. Once I hear back from our back office, I will send you another message via our message center. I have also asked if we can have it reversed as well.
As for why there was no notification, I have asked our management why we do not currently have a notification system in place or, if we do, why you did not receive a message.
I will send you a message to this Message Center when I find out more information these important issues. I welcome your anticipated patience while I do some research."
Attention New Leadership:
How about a PR to introduce yourselves and your vision, objectives and goals?
LOL, yes because 17 business days is way too long since the last PR. He's doing great and I'd be willing to bet he surprises us all pretty soon! Wish you and everyone here best of luck! :) Exciting times ahead!
"Just because they do that, doesn't mean it is legal by any means. What they have done equates to tax fraud as well as securities fraud. "
Who? FFGO, Ameritrade or both?
Proof below. You seem to be hung up on the word "sell" at a time when FFGO has not been trading for years.
Brokers (and FFGO) can in fact delete your dead shares (i.e.: get rid of them, throw them away, turn them into photons, etc.). I really doubt Ameritrade is ignoring SEC regulation as you accuse.
Here's the proof...
HERE IS AMERITRADE'S REPONSE
Welcome Lakers. :)
Nah, I'm right. Proven information is simply a search away.
Brokers can sell or close out shares that are dead like FFGO.
Lots of activity. Might pop.
And there we have it. This MOFO is DEAD.
Good luck with what? FFGO is dead.
Anyways, do the research, if you're on a margin account and have a stock that died (i.e.: $0.0001) just like FFGO... the broker has a legal right to do something with your shares to make up for the money they lost or are owed.
When a customer signs up with a Broker, they agree to the contractual terms of the account. Those terms are a legal binding contracts and are HUGE in regards to the legal safeguards that are built in for the Broker. There are clauses that warrant and justify the Broker selling your shares if they have viable cause.
There are also other limitation rules for how long a Broker must can keep your dead shares sitting in their accounts. Brokers want to clean these dead share off after many years of being dead. So there are rules as well for that, but I won't spend time on that now.
In the case of FFGO, this hasn't happened yet. But could.
They can legally sell your shares without your permission if (1) company is dead - which FFGO is, (2) your shares were purchased with margin, instead of cash.
It's a waiting game now. Let's see if new leadership can do it.
I noticed that too Jeff - thx, awesome! :)
