A lot of OTC remedy can gain a lot of popularity just by word of mouth referral. Take, for instance, glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate, it was hardly accepted just about 10 years ago and was considered by the FDA as just another trivial joint formula making a claim. As more word of mouth data started to pile up, the government finally was willing to spend the money to do controlled studies on the efficacy of it. Now it is well recognized that it works for joint aches and pains for a good percentage of people. It took quite a number of years just to get to this stage.
Make sense.
True. It would help if XN finally get their acts together before the court deadline and let us have a decent shot to present to the judge what substance we've got for our POR, IMO. NIPRD would just be our official endorsement.
Agree. Money talks in any business. If anyone can come up with 20 million grand and lay it on the line, there will be pills shooting out from the factory in a heartbeat. It's unfortunate that the previous administration has all but drained the otherwise valuable resources still available. Creditors are generally more business-minded than being visionary. They would prefer to see money back in their pockets than risking their necks for any visionary mission. However, given that there is little choice left, they might opt for some sort of compromise just to let us stand a chance to pay them back.
Yes, producing the quality drug, distributing it, marketing it, billing $ collecting the money and to oversee that the revenue is used properly need someone to administer the entire process. XN needs someone like Monty to kick start the entire process properly. That, I believe, is the main reason why XN does not want some foreman to just take over. The complexity calls for a dedicated CEO to get the job done.
XN has every reason to benefit from XI to be relicensed due to the marketing potential in the USA and worldwide. From the track record point of view, XN would not look very good in the world stage by severing the head of the parent company and then selling their image as a company with ethical business practice. I think XN would rather have a much larger stake (share) of the new company instead of bypassing us altogether.
Admirable effort, Thrill.
We all know SCD is not curable but can be treated with Nicosan to alleviate a good range of symptoms to let patients live a near normal life without harmful side effects. Cold-FX, comparatively a herbal drug derived from North American Ginseng, is already recognized as the official cold remedy at the 2010 Winter Olympic for being effective against flu and common cold. It sells very well as a nutraceutical and can fetch $60 a bottle in the drug store. Nicosan can also be marketed in a similar way as long as we have the resources to so so. The bottom line is if it works, people will buy it.
I have no problem with people posting whatever opinions they are entitled to, as long as they are short of personal attacks. It would be nicer if they are here to contribute to the well-being of XKEM. Nicer yet if they stay long enough to cheer all the way to our victory party.
For a stock like XKEM, I would not rule out the late comers for more opportunities to buy into it. There will be plenty of buying opportunities for everyone once there is a commitment of XN to Monty's POR to make a go of it.
I hope the judge can act decisively on Swift's obvious betrayal of XeChem by having Cosmid to undermine us, let alone other mismanagement and lack of accountability. Our priority now though is get on with the business of the production of Nicosan again. Just by increasing the revenue and sales of this wonder drug alone will be sufficient to propel us to the next level of PPS. Soon, XN will be tied back together with XI for another big time pop. If we can all pitch in and make a commitment to sell some shares along the way to finance the growth of our new company, the creditors might be able to recover their investments sooner than they think. It's kind of like the chicken-and-the-egg theory. No funding means no production but production will lead to funding. Let's hope that the creditors realize that it all has to start from somewhere. Further delaying will get us nowhere.
At some point in time, your would think that somehow the Nigerians would have to start producing Nicosan again. The question is how should we be involved or not?
At the end of the day, the judge has to wind the BK up. Those insiders who still hold very significant number of shares of XKEMQ will influence the outcome of the restructure the most, IMO. Anyone knows the numbers?
Can't blame the Nigerians for being overly cautious after seeing various messes of litigation had been brought upon in the history of XeChem. Can't blame them either for being somewhat nationalistic given what the Swift administration has done to them. Can't blame them for getting several proposals just like a general contractor getting several quotes for a major contract, whether or not it is just for show. At the end of the day, some top dog will finally call "move it" when Nicosan's production really needs to be resumed to meet the demands. Sooner or later, they'll decide Monty's POR is the best option.
Believe!
Sounds like we need a top dog with the the instinct of a shepherd to howl & shoo.
Fiat,
Glad to hear that you're back to your old self again! I share your frustration 100% but a lot of effort has been made by various people involved. If only the lenders finally get their acts together and go with Monty's plan, the production of Nicosan will resume. The remaining pieces of puzzle will fall into place.
Monty,
We're with you all the way!
Many thanks!
Agree. The judge's verdict on Swift could open the door wider for XKEM to emerge out of BK. On the Nigerian side, let's hope the lenders will get their acts together to decide on Monty's plan without further delay.
Too well said...
considering that it's like enlightening a cave man specializes in smoke and screen!
My thought is with Monty...
Please pray for him for the good of ALL!
Yes indeed, next week, especially Monday...
Nice try Chilly, if you've been trying to tank it to .0001 just to flip it. I don't think it is going to happen though. You might have better luck with some other pink sheet ...
Maybe finally my letter to President Obama finally got passed down to the right people to take proper action. Thank God!
Monty, my passion has never diminished. It will continue to flourish with yours and all the XKEMers who want to see a wonderful medicine such as Nicosan to treat SCD sufferers by the millions.
Many thanks to you! God bless!
"LET THERE BE LIGHT"
Thank you...
Lord, hear our prayer.
Many thanks Elis...
Speaking of transparency, the show has just begun!
May the Lord hear our prayer.
Frankly, I can't see anyone involved in any POR can disregard the need to dispose of Swift's corrupt administration. His misdirected talents helped the destruction of XI. His actions will have to be accounted for in the court(s) of laws. I would doubt any POR would include him or his associates. They are history.
Elis,
I sympathize with your anxiety. Let's hope Nicosan production is just around the corner and Monty will soon bring RELIEF to you and ALL!!!
We common share holders would have our legal rights to vote on critical issues many times before had Swift been doing what he was legally bound to do as a CEO in a publicly traded company. He thinks he is well above the law and he can get away with anything.
IMO, the chief ingredients for the recipe of a successful restructuring include:
___ Swiftly putting Swift's team out of business.
___ The BK judge being on the same wavelength as the CC.
___ Basu having to either compromise or be left out of the game entirely while we common shareholders stay in.
___ The expected blessing from the Nigerian government.
___ Of course, Monty's excellent POR being second to none.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

You're welcome ... any time.
Probably one of those odd moments when buyers are queuing up to accumulate at the rock bottom 0.0002 but there is no more sellers left to sell it at that price or at any higher prices.
Likely scenario:
Those who wanted out sold them before the year end already for write-offs --- capitulation for those investors.
Those longs who know XKEM well are hanging on to them dearly --- just waiting for the good news.
JMHO
I think the judge knows the difference between a prostitute and a traitor --- even though
both have something to sell, LOL!
It will be interesting to see how much of an impact on the CC’s decision on POR when the judge’s verdict on all those illegal charges becomes inevitable. Voting creditors have to be blind not to see grave flaws in adopting Basu’s original CC plan --- a plan that will undoubtedly be subject to further legal challenges in the higher courts. I frankly don’t think that traitors can get away with fraud, illegal dealings and all the clandestine transactions while serving on the Board of a publicly traded company. I also wonder what status the SEC and the FBI are at, when the verdict is clear that there are criminal offenses committed.
Enlightening, Elis! Thanks so much for all your posts!
Ditto.
I believe that the judicial system will come close to sort out the truth and fallacy, the legal and the illegal, the righteous and the wicked. By virtue of transparency, the creditors will see what is best for XeChem and their pocketbooks. After the dust settled, Monty's plan shall prevail! Perhaps January 19th will be the day of reckoning for some and the VICTORY DAY for XKEMers!
BELIEVE!
Merry CHRISTmas to all and especially to you Lochute!
It's good that we're reminded Christ is our very reason for this celebration while everything else is secondary!
God bless!

Thanks for sharing, ElisComing!
I am lost for words to see that Monty has done tremendous amount of work to get Nicosan back to full swing! I can't see any other alternative plans that can even come close to matching his, let alone demonstrating the integrity and scientific knowledge of running this pharmaceutic company. Naturally, the best way to recover any losses by the creditors is to get on board with Monty's plan soon and set the wheels in motion. In relatively short time, they will be rewarded handsomely by XKEM's performance in the stock market.
Have faith my friends! The verdict is clear and XKEM will emerge much stronger than ever!
Go Monty Go! Go Dr. Pandey Go!
Belated Happy Birthday, Steve!!!
Isd673,

Merry Christmas To All
and
Happy Birthday to Spoonman on this most celebrated day!
I celebrated my 60th this October already. As long as you are young at heart, those decade ones are just a state of mind IMO. I count my blessings for each decade I've made.
Happy Birthday, Monty!
Have a great day!
