1. Its an excellent question;
2. No, they probably can't explain it.
Did they raise the funding?
when is it that you would like to retire? Hopefully it isn't still a penny stock then.
So you are hoping for a launch in the U.S. sometime in 2010, is that it? I thought you had good sources.
Say something nice? Ok - 1. isn't it good the company hasn't gone under yet; 2. You should be entitled to some qtrax shares as a ratio of your blln shareholding (assuming you haven't sold your blln shares at the time, I guess).
Well, maybe not islands.
So, we were all waiting for the launch for the pps to rocket, that didn't happen. Now are we waiting for the press conference on Monday for the pps to rocket. It's always just around the corner isn't it. Funny that. So, what is going to see the pps go up to buy all these islands, etc. Tell me again.
Go for it. I already live on an island. If you get an island, I'll buy NYC real estate, how are the prices?
who are you trying to convince, yourself or the board? Just interested.
he had a "press conference" after midem as well, didn't he. Don't you remember that?
Excellent. After eight years...a PLAN!
most people are holding, yes. Just hope the ones selling aren't insiders.
big statement, darth.
You are holding eh.
So I guess you'd not worry about making a similar statement that you're selling at any time.
Yes, and it's a heavy one, and it is non-reporting pinky, and it's a warning to insider buyers and sellers.
Yes, it probably reduces, but does not eliminate the problem...on the other hand, the company has successfully, apparently, got itself on the regulatory radar. That is not a positive imo. If it happens again this time, I think there will be some pretty big ramifications for them.
The pattern here is that launch dates come and go, repeatedly. Nothing new here so far. That, by itself, without any other news is going to create the price fluctuations we are seeing here. Insider selling is something else.
the company's on the radar...http://www.pinksheets.com/pink/quote/quote.jsp?symbol=blln#getQuote
That wasn't there pre-midem, imo.
they want to be very careful this time round.
as we can see, being on the pinks doesn't exempt all types of behaviour.
there are no surprises here so far, for me at least. Everything is entirely consistent with past performance. I'm not getting excited at all, but...he said it was going to launch, he will be held to that this time.
Thanks, PK, cross-post there. It would only take one or two people with a couple of million shares each making an exit here to do this to the price. The low volume says it is not a huge deal to me.
But...if there is unexpected news here, that could throw a spanner in the works. There are still some very important questions left unanswered, which will have to be answered at some point if this is to go.
If this launches, what happens to the Qtrax direct investors? There you are, there's one important question.
How many shares have been traded today, chewy? Like 2.7M or so. Take it easy. volume around midem was 40M or so wasn't it?
There are a lot of people with every right to be sarcastic, my friend, and a lot more than that as well. They're pressing the refresh button too, brother. Yes, you're right, it better launch.
"Inside traders have much more than a few million shares
in total..."
How do you know that? What, all of them?
"Why invest in a pink..."
Easy, many people invested in this when it wasn't a pink.
If there is any news out of left field here, we might be looking at it in a different light.
Hey, WE have a fixed day for a launch...AK said so! Again. What's the problem? Unlucky? What me and thousands of others? I don't know whether I'd call it that. Aw, AK said we launch and we don't? Shucks, just more of that bad luck.
well, they could be either penny day traders or insider sellers.
gee, this is like squashing 7 years of gut-wrenching uncertainty all into one day. Almost. Yep, that's what it's been like folks.
let's hope they don't know something that we don't.
it better be more than good vibes and excitations driving the pps, darth, because that's only going to last until 29th.
Not so much pain, but the incredible frustration of not being told anything about what is going on for eight years or so, but all the time getting the inference that everything is imminent and on track, when it obviously wasn't. Like I said, try putting up with that for nearly a decade, and this seems like a picnic.
In any event, I think there is going to be strong selling into this demand right up to the launch, because of the midem factor between here and .10, the old blln spinning wheels effect, until firm news. (I think there were something like 40 million shares traded in the days around midem last year, at least half of those might represent really peeved shareholders). If the news is half good, it should take off.
I tell you what was really gut-wrenching in this saga - the two years or so, I think it was, waiting to see if the reverse merger of LTD and AVDI would actually happen or whether you would lose all of your investment right there, and then putting up with interminable "negotiations" and fund raising attached to that, the interminable delays and apparent purposeful obstructions. Compared to that, for me, right now is like a teddy bear's picnic. At least they have some relative control now. To their credit, they have made it to this point despite all the difficulties (of which we don't still really know the ramifications) but it is now time to deliver.
I'm not sure about this vegas party either, I reckon everyone will be tempted to spike each other's drinks or something; such is the apparent sense of humor around here.
Thanks, global. Yes, we have been hearing exactly that for eight years. Cheers, and welcome aboard, you didn't miss the boat. Boats are a two way street aren't they - depending on which they're heading I suppose.
I will like the positive result, if it happens, rather than just the confidence...I have been hearing confidence for eight years. It's about time for a positive result.
Some people have been expressing gut wrenching nervousness about the upcoming "launch"...wow, try putting up with this for nearly a decade of your life. I'm not nervous about it, maybe I'm used to it by now; and I have held my shares for all of that time, so I guess I am qualified to a view.
It is only in very recent times, friend, that the "launch" date of 29th October 2009 has been announced by AK. Many longs (shareholders, not faces necessarily) have been invested in this for going on eight years or more, with very little if any news to have hopes about, while watching their investment in free fall for all of that time, while taking into account all the relative commentary that has been put on this forum, over 18,000 posts now. On the other hand, you have been here for approximately three days, sorry, make that one day, and three days before "launch", but yet seek to issue philosophical rubrics about the propriety of some people's outlook and concerns about this. You would have a different outlook, I believe, if you had been a long term shareholder, not a penny stock holder.
Qtrax, as a computer interface may be a fantastic software application, that is correct, as a business, Qtrax is not fantastic. Yet! We will see the proof soon, if it is successful, I am sure 99.9% of people will be happy, some more than others.
i'm not in anyone's group darth, but I wish I was in the group that has their Qtrax/BLLN share entitlement now that we're so close to "launch". Have you got your's yet, or do you have to be in some special 'group'?
there will be retribution if this is a scam brother, believe it. People will not be allowed to ruin others lives. It will be seen to.
Nevertheless, give them the full chance.
I have had family members pass away during the course of this sage, unresolved as it is, and they knowing I am invested in it, so I know how that feels; and if it folds, I will not forget it
Yesterday I was talking with a net music specialist guy who told me I really needed to know the history of Napster, Kazuu (or whatever it was called), and now Limewire - "you just gotta know about this, man, you gotta get with it".
I asked him whether he knew about Qtrax: "Huh? what's that"...here's the link guy, launches next week.
If afficionados like that thinks Limewire is top shelf, this industry needs a really big change, Qtrax is in the box seat for that, but they need to launch, otherwise it's Limewire - and no bailouts for the labels, the government can't afford it, and is in to car manufacturing, banking and money printing anyway, and hasn't got time.
you know what you're on about. Everyone take a ticket and listen to her.
yeah, and you know it was AK because the guy said he would get back to you Monday. Know what I mean? That's how you read it. Let's know if you get anything Monday, and if not, you're on the money.
I'd bet you don't, but hey you never know. Hopefully you will one day. Cheers. If he had an aussie (pr auzzie for you guys) and he's in NYC and answers the phone in the middle of the night it's AK.
It is a round the clock job I believe. Not unusual. don't forget the time zone differences for potential strategic partners. When it in the middle of the night in NYC, it is bright sunny middle of the business day in Asia.
the only person in this outfit with an aussie accent who would be in NYC is AK, I believe.
why are you unnerved, darth. It has never been any different to exactly this. After eight years this is what you expect. Do you see why I would think your enthusiasm sometimes, while well meaning, is a bit naive? I hope it works this time too, but if it doesn't...hmmm.
So you don't have any independent knowledge of the history, background and current situation of the company - beyond press releases, and there aren't too many of them, apart from the very positive ones from the company. So, what do you know for sure?
Why do you say you know more about the company than many others here who have been invested for a very long time and have done thorough due diligence. If you are in Malayasia, you know that this is a U.S. registered company that originated where? Do you know that?
it isn't insider trading to know about it, only to trade on it - in my understanding. SEC isn't mucking about these days:
http://www.moneymorning.com/2009/10/21/galleon-insider-trading/
oh really?! I guess you're not speculating then, because you're so sure what the news is, is that it? That hardly makes anyone else look foolish, it just looks like you know more than most other people. In that case, happy reading:
http://www.pinksheets.com/pink/quote/quote.jsp?symbol=blln#getQuote
Go ahead, place an order. LOL.
Now, that *would* be foolish.
can you see what the seller's code is?
