I got the numbers turned around. I was asking about Goldman450.
Sorry, I thought you were looking out for other people, too. But I can see you're only looking out for yourself. That's OK. I guess that's what it's all about.
Has anyone heard how Goldman540 is doing?
I DO know Jack ____. I met him in Nashville once.
Learningasitgoes...I called David and I don't have any experience either. He's very helful and doesn't mind talking to inexperienced people. That's how we learn. He seems like a good guy and I didn't detect any BS but I haven't been around here long enough to know BS
Bugs, I think it's good that you're looking out for those of us that don't know what we're doing. Thanks. JMO
I didn't realize John Rich was once the lead singer for Lonestar. The things you learn on Google!
Yes, Cat, we need exposure in the major music trade magazines. Do you know who the publicist is for Nashville Records?
Sorry to see so much frustration this morning. I'm on my way to the hospital to pick up a friend who just had surgery. I'll be taking care of her for the next few days. I've found the best way to cure frustration is to look around and find somebody that's in worse shape than you are. Then try to help them. It works like magic....every time. It doesn't put money in your pocket but it puts joy in your soul. In the meantime, think of all the positive things that are happening with this company.
I think some people possibly don't see the connection yet. It might take a while for it to sink in. I haven't seen anything about the NR signings in Billboard, R&R or Music Row yet. Maybe I've just missed it. Has anyone else? These are usually the most reliable trades that industry people look at.
Interesting fact...it's a dry county.
Nope...same guy...old #7. Lynchburg is where he distilled.
I don't mean Charlie Daniels lives in Lynchburg, TN. That's Jack that lives there. Chalrie used to have a ranch (or farm) near Mt. Juliet, TN, just outside of Nasvhille. Might still be there. Dunno.
He lives in Lynchburg.
"Branch" into a little Blue Grass?? There's always been Blue Grass on the Grand Ole Opry. Bill Monroe, Roy Acuff, Flatt & Scruggs, Ralph Stanley...and the list goes on. Some of the old timers will even go as far to say that Country Music is a "branch" off Blue Grass.
Bama, what did you find out on your road trip to Nashville? Were you able to speak with anyone at the office?
'Morning, everyone. After the Al Gore Extravaganza this past weekend, I decided to walk to work this morning. I walked from the bedroom to the patio. Here's hoping we all have a nice GREEN week! Would be nice if we all had a piece of Apple.
Since the Company is being so expedicious in forwarding the exercised shares upon receipt of funds in conjunction with the exercise of warrants, I'm expecting that we're in for an extraordinary situation, as this is an excellent opportunity for all of us, and I definitely will need to acquire some extra funding in order to purchase excessive shares. I don't mean to exaggerate, but all of this excitement has made me so excited that I forgot to take my memory exercises.
In the float count, were you including the restricted NPYC shares?
Chevy, I placed an order for an additional 777 shares today, in honor of today's calendar quirk, 07/07/07. (Big spender!) Maybe this will bring some luck to the NSHV board. I know it won't go through until Monday but wanted to take advantage of today's lucky numbers. Please add this to my total number of shares. Thanks!
My heart is so saddened hear about the man with luekemia. My Nashville friend has a world-wide prayer chain that we will add him to. Never underestimate the power of prayer.
Well...I don't know about he rest of you guys...but I'm still buying...not selling. "Call me irresponsible, call me unreliable..." What was the name of that song anyway? I still get a kick out of Nashville Records!
I guess that's a matter of opinion. It depends on who you're talking to.
Good balance. You must be a Libra.
Good for you! Looks like th "Opti" side of you won you over that time around! :)
Looks that way. Not much happening. I thought the latest news article in the Nashville newspaper would stir up more interes on Music Row.
Wonderful post, Cat. This looks like something I would like to get involved in, volunteer wise. What a great cause.
Cat, somebody just sent me a song called "Press One For English" by a new artist. A tongue-in-cheek look at what's happening in America today. Maybe they should include this one too. I'll try to forward it to you.
Happy 4th of July everyone. Hope you're all having bang-up time!
Try the Morman Temple. (IF they'll let you in.) :) You could always hand around outside until after the wedding.
Maybe we need to send more poeple to Nashville. :)
Thank you for making a special trip to Nashville to check on this for us. This clears up a lot of things. That's great that you caught him on his way out. Cat just posted everything that I was about to say in her response. Thanks Cat! :) I had almost the exact words about "if you'd stopped by the church, you might have found someone that knows him".
I think it's a legit interview but I'm not familiar with the interviewer.
Sorry for the delayed post. I was just reading some of the earlier posts when I made that comment. Now things are a little more clearer. We're gonna be OK, guys. Even through all the confusion, for some reason, I have a really good feeling about this company.
You lost me, BostonGirl.
I sure wouldn't want to be the bookkeeper on this one.
Great article. I thought the quote from Wade Jessen of Billboard Mag. lends credibility also. He's been involved in country music since the early 80's and pretty much knows the music business inside and out.
OK..I got the skinny on the address. Talked with the owner of Artist Development Company, Cathy Lemmon. She seems to be a nice gal, by the way. She tells me that Gene and the boys are using her address to receive mail until they find a Music Row office. Whew!! Had me worried for a minute! So it's OK, boys and girls. Start sending in them certified cards and letters to 1216 16th Ave. S. and get in on this half price offer!
You're probably right. It happens a lot in Nashville and probably nothing to worry about.
Sorry, guess I mis-read it. Anyway, I don't think I want to be sending a certified notice to a place that doesn't exist. Would you?
This is a good way for him to lock us in for a year. Smart business on his part, but I don't know how many will want to do this. I only have one question. Has anyone here on the board actually see the physical address 1216 16th Ave., ? I have been there. It's an old house that's been converted to an office. Nothing wrong with that, as they've been doing this for years on Music Row. But my concern is the sign on the building says "Artist Development Network". Nothing about Nashville Reocrds. When I inquired inside I was told that Gene Sibbett does not work there, and it was not the office of Nashville Records. Just wondering. I'm a little bit leery about having our stock certificates sent to this address. If anyone has any further information about this, I would appreciate a post. Thanks. And this is not only "Just My Opinion", I've actually been there.
