How the hell should I know? I thought that you were paying attention.
The one by Ayn Rand is even better.
Sox, best wishes with your colon treatments. I wish I had known.
Sox, delete "rabble-rouser;" insert "firebrand." It has more panache...I award myself a point for using a semi-colon.
BullNBear told it funnier.
Who unleashed the Mad Punster?
Fair enough, ksquared. I must have misinterpreted your post. SoxFan, by the way, is a rabble-rouser by nature. Although I am probably in the minority, I think that it's good for the board. There is nothing more tiresome -- and occasionally more frightening -- than a group of the same political bent sitting around agreeing with each other.
Cowher usually likes to end the season by choking at home. Do you think that he's disappointed?
ksquared, please clarify. Is this a conservatives only board?
I, for one, have had an exhausting day of doing absolutely squat, and I am parched by the experience. Can I fix that? Yes, I can. OUT!
Get 'em in, BB. I think that Mark is away tomorrow and Sunday.
You're not the first to suggest that.
I have rectified the problem.
Thanks for the reminder.
So it WAS a grub. DON'T SCREW WITH ME AK!
That a grubby-dub?
I'm not happy, not at all.
Is that Derf's "after" picture?
I never had the opportunity to sample Maui Wowie, a glaring omission in an otherwise stellar resume. I intend to rectify the situation someday.
If Maui is "mow-e" why isn't kauii "kow-e-e"?
I bet it was the high point of her year.
Sox, I have got to quit (quiet, quite) underestimating you.
There's a village in my town called Usepaugh. How would you like to deal with that everyday?
Why live in Hawaii when you can live in Framingham?
Sox, I hear that Ethel Rosenberg was a good cook, and Julius played a mean game of checkers. Is that true?
Excel, I don't know what they knew nor when they knew it. The literature that I have read strongly suggests that Clinton flat out lied to everyone for an extended period of time. That said, it was your "partners in crime" conclusion that I thought was a stretch.
Excel, in my opinion, #4 is a stretch.
Susie, exactly what qualifies as a grub, any "landmark" numbered post?
Would they actually allow Churak into the US?
Yes, all that and Kimmie too!
I wonder if he'll pass out free urine tests?
Yes, Derf had the audacity to suggest that all might not be well. It didn't go over well with the zealots.
For Tony Cataldo fans only...
A Special Meeting of Stockholders of Calypte Biomedical Corporation (the “Company”) will be held...To amend the Company’s Amended and Restated Certificate of Incorporation to effect an increase in the number of authorized shares of the Company’s Common Stock from 200,000,000 to 800,000,000.
Bull, I followed that board for a while and found it, to a large degree, to be a paranoid group of longs whose faith in the company grew with each new slight by management. I couldn't take it anymore.
jmcjmc is a classic board bully.
Amazon has it for $11.20 -- go wild. Paula Jones describes a certain part of the ex-president's anatomy as "four to five inches with the diameter of a quarter." I kid thee not. Hung like a cricket.
He was hard, brutal even, on everyone. Starr's team took major hits.
But the quality during the day is far greater.
Sox, Toobin:

Toobin is also a staff writer at The New Yorker and author of the best-selling book The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson. During his tenure at The New Yorker, Toobin has written articles on Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, Oliver NorthÕs campaign for the U.S. Senate and the murder trial of O.J. Simpson. Previously, he served as Assistant United States Attorney in Brooklyn, N.Y. In addition, he was an associate counsel in the Office of Independent Counsel Lawrence E. Walsh, an experience that provided the basis for his book Opening Arguments: A Young LawyerÕs First Case Ñ United States v. Oliver North.
Toobin is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School.
Sox, did you ever read "A Vast Conspiracy" by Jeffrey Toobin? It was a great look at the investigation/impeachment process. Toobin, incidentally, also wrote a fascinating book on the OJ trial.
