Sounds like a bought deal is a good thing. People selling tomorrow may not realize the positive aspect.

sup IH, Rubicon had some news and i was wondering if you can please explain how this will affect RBY
Rubbicon Minerals Corporation (TSX:RMX)(the "Company") announces that it has
entered into an agreement with a syndicate of underwriters, co-led by GMP
Securities L.P. and TD Securities Inc. and including Research Capital
Corporation, Macquarie Capital Markets Canada Ltd., BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc.,
Dundee Securities Corporation, Sandfire Securities Inc., Thomas Weisel
Partners Canada Inc. (collectively, the "Underwriters"), which have agreed to
purchase, on a bought deal basis, 16,500,000 common shares (the "Shares") of
the Company at a price of $4.55 per Share, for aggregate gross proceeds of
$75,075,000. The Underwriters will also have the option, exercisable in whole
or in part at any time up to 30 days after the closing of the offering, to
purchase up to an additional 2,475,000 Shares. In the event that the option is
exercised in its entirety, the aggregate gross proceeds of the offering will
be $86,336,250.
wusup X, how you doin man, everything hangin steady over here. hope you did well today!
nice work cash911, keep it up. i hope it does very well for you!
yes i agree, im glad we are basing off here in these .30s. slow money is fasho money, fast money is wont last money.
EGT supplies slot machines to casinos in countries like the phillipines and cambodia. the phillipines had typhoons the passed couple weeks which cause massive flood damage out there, and caused alot of investors to sell off because of how the typhoons will affect EGT's business
i wont make the same mistake twice with EGT. i originally bought at .22 and sold out at .18 cuz i lost patience, only for it to pop to .43 a couple weeks later. i think we'll be ok. the sitiuation in the phillipines didnt help. when that stablizes, we're good to go
im holding, im content that its basing off nicely in these .30s.
sup ken! good morning and great to see you !
perhaps we will have some sale prices in the next few sessions. i will have to prepare a grocery list of things to pick up, stocks with nice weeklys that have ran up recently. im happy that i have been conservative with my positions and have ammo (as the Hand would call it) remaining for these possible scenarios. i've really focused on base hits and its been a huge difference. fsnm for example is really pissin me off, but its my second smallest holding, so i aint too worried; im comfortable with the risk/reward
my question for the professors: is there a particular sector that works best during this quarter and market climate? hot sectors right now are gold, oil, tech plays, if any one has others please reply. i think if the junior traders on board could get a lesson in asset allocation and capital protection, now would be opportune.=)
i just remember back then how i would take risks and be really stressed out when the market would take a $hi7. in hindsight, i was definitely in no position to have 90% of my bread in play when i had zero education on technical analysis.
so i just want to thank the senior traders here for sharing their experience, and lets keep kickin a$$, conservatively
thanks for your input IH
INDU on watch

Sup DD, I'm long RBY. Pretty weird seeing that red candle today huh. However its healthy for the next leg up. Probably a late Cramer effect from last fridays ligtning round. I'm thinkin we test the 4.80s again mid next week.
sup player, yea i bounced at .70. i was watchin the momo goin up and i took a f'in cigarette break from the computer. the sob popped from 74 to 76 and when i came back the f'er just dropped to 72 then 70 then 68. luckilly it touched the 70s again. i was heated. i watched all damn mornin and when i go outside to smoke it pops lol its all good i'll take my 20% ahhahahahhahahah
