Collins is the more interesting one today. Even though Baltimore doing poorly, he is looking more and more like he is taking control there. Although, I believe he is a 2nd year.
WOW! With bad day by Brady, I am still turning the Tree Huggers into toilet paper!
Non-contact ones are always the worst! The way he grabbed towards knee while running is not a good sign at all!
Yes, but with Forte coming back, how much action does he get/
Well in our league, I think I am good to go. Julio Jones out for the game, so no more points there for the Huggers. On top of that, Ryan is also missing Sanu for the rest of the game, so going to be hard for him to put up much if anything today.
OF course Goff already has a TD Pass!
I need Brady to stay mortal today. Score a little, but not like he has been doing! Playing him in a money league where I am 3-0 and do not want him to single handedly make me 3-1!
Ugh, Cutty killed me! Played him over Goff in my 2 QB League darn it. They are not throwing down the field enough. Should have gone with gut and kept riding Goff against The Boys.
78,42,24 with 78 for the Win please.
Exactly. If Smallwood is going to score, it will usually be from outside of 10 yards.
I may have confused you with my post, as I was a little buzzed. I was saying for now Smallwood is not going to get any goal line carries, so I do agree with you that Blount is the GL Back.
Not in two of my three money leagues and too much of a crapshoot anyway.
OK, got him for $13. Amazing as Williams went for $26 after DJ went down, Buck Allen for $23 and someone even put $14 out on Foreman this week???? Hate losing Trubisky, but that was a reasonable pick up and he may have the chance to take it to the house from way out in any given week. Blount also was on the outs during camp, so who knows where they will be in five weeks!
OK, was going back and forth for the past two hours. Darn good thing I have the vodka next to me!!!!! Anyway, decided Smallwood was worth the move, as I still have three serviceable QB's and need to bolster my RB's. That said, I only went $13. Gut is telling me that he is going to go for higher.
Now, I do feel like a bit of a cheater, as I have another league with a midnight cutoff where I have already decided to go for Smallwood. Just so happens I also had Johnson in that league. Crazy that I am 3-0 even after losing him, but I stashed RB;s well there and also had Hyde, Jaquizz, Martin, Mixon and Cohen. Got Cohen as last pick in the draft, since I had first!!!!! LOL
Anyway, since I will have room and can never have too many RB's stashed, I want to drop Jaquizz there and grab Smallwood. I can stash extra players until Pittsburgh bye week in 9, unless their D falls apart and I flip them and then Philly in 10 with Ertz. So, since both leagues are usually pretty close on their bids, I can see what the winning bid is on Smallwood and act accordingly. OF course, I do not think I would go the farm there either, as I have enough backs at this time and budget money towards middle of the season is HUGE.
For me I have 57 minutes to decide! LOL! I think I am going to throw maybe a $8 bid for Smallwood. If I get him for that, it would be a bargain and worth putting Trubs out there. IF I do not get him, I will be sitting in the top 2-3 in the league in FA Budget depending on what others bid this week, so when other RB's pop up, can always pounce on them then. Worst case, if Zeke gets sent off on Suspension next week, I can pick, I can play Henry and Bell till their bye weeks in Week 8 and 9, while playing 3 WR;s instead of RB's. So, would have four weeks for something to turn up for me!
Smallwood has the potential to be a stud, but has never proven it. In addition, for so long as Blount is healthy, he is not going to get any goal line work. Still with the touches per game, would be a good player to have to slip in for byes.
OUCH! And someone in my Auction League dropped $35 on Luck?
Just driving me crazy! I would have to drop Trubisky to pick up Smallwood and not sure I even want to spend the money on him. In a 12 Team 2 QB League, all of the QB's are gone and a couple teams only have two, so will have to Flex a position player in bye weeks(QB's tend to score highest on a week to week basis, so you want to start 2). I believe Trubs may very well be the QB next week after the long break unless Glennon gets his act together tomorrow night. Fox appears to be getting tired of him staring down receivers and not going through progressions, not to mention having the dexterity in the pocket of a turtle!
Personally, I think Trubs could end up being a pretty good QB this year and if/when he is starting, having 4 QB's that are starting should open up some trade opportunities for me if needed.
All a matter of if I want to pay enough to get him.
Have not heard on Henry's leg yet this week. Was not bad last week though. WIth Elliot possibly only having one more week, I really need Henry to take off.
As a side note, think it is time to drop Trubisky, even though I do not want to in the 2 QB League and go for Smallwood. Hating it, but might go $30. I really need an extra back with DJ down.
Well, I did get Smallwood and in a 1 Point PPR League, he may have huge upside.
DARN IT! I forgot last night was our league FA night! Would have pimped you on Martin if I remembered! All three of my money leagues are tonight.
Can we add bonus points for predicting Jr to crash out???
The Monsters are SURGING!
Just wondering, is there a single soul left that would dare wear a Jr. Hat? Good thing that pathetic Gone Hollywood Liberal is retiring after this year! Good riddance!
11-4-78, 11 For Playoffs please
This one should be concerning to anyone holding Ajayi! If he really is bone on bone in the knee, have to wonder when everything eventually gives out? This year, next year... Then who is the handcuff? Now Melvin Gordon having knee issues too? Add in Johnson being out and have to start wondering if/when someone contacts New Orleans about AP????
Nope, it is in one of my money leagues. As a fun side note, the team with the highest weekly total in that league gets a $100 Bonus and the winner over the past three years has averaged 150. With a QB, Zeke, three WR/TE's, K and D yet to play, I could very well make an early season claim, especially now that Davante Parker has been listed as a go for Sunday!
The other thing I like about that league is you get $10 for each week you win in the regular season.
At this point, have to wonder if Bradford may in fact end up being out for an extended absence?
Well, my opponent in one league cannot be a happy camper this morning. I had Gurley and Hyde going last night and still have Zeke. Even with my weak WR's, the week is almost over! Currently sitting with a 62-0 Lead!
Have to be wondering just how bad is Bradford's knee? With his knee injury history, this is not a good sign!
LOL! That said, it was a really entertaining game.
Goff had a huge night for me in my Auction League! Now I have to decide between Cutler and Smith. Leaning towards Smith in that league, as I may insert Cutler over Rivers in another money league. Spread the risk...
Watkins big second half. Somewhat bittersweet there, as I really needed the points by Goff in my other league. Just wish Kupp would have had at least one of those TD's IN the end, my gut was right about Goff. Having huge night!
Todd Gurley is giving the Raptors one heck of a Grim start to the week!
Charges D actually scares me a bit. They are just about fully healthy now and can indeed shut teams down. Goff is oh so tempting right now, as San Fran can be burned. Especially with the increase in short routes to Gurley.
I mean do not trust them with RB's. Look what they did to DeMarco???? Ruined him for a year.
Part of the issue is not giving a back the chance to get into a groove and Mixon is the best they have.
Cutler, Goff, Smith where I can start two? So tempted to throw Goff in, but have had bad luck on Thursdays in the past, especially with young ones. Cutler has NYJ D, but a little worried about Parker for now. Smith for now is a play every week that he is not playing Denver, as dump offs to Hunt and quick slants to Hill could go all the way on any play!
They talked about it on NFL Network today. Bradford's limited was exactly that, LIMITED! Drop back and throw, with no around the pocket movement. The real test will be tomorrow to see if he can move back and forth.
I do not trust Philly. Most talented back is Smallwood and he does not get enough of a chance. Blount? Seems like the only team ever able to really use him properly is NE.
